I bought a dress and received a confirmation, after 3 weeks of waiting for my shipment, I started calling the customer service line. After 3 days of trying to get through to someone and being on hold for an hour at a time, I found out they over sold the dress I ordered and sent me an email saying they refunded me. From the other reviews I'm glad the order didn't go through seems that the quality isn't good and their returns are even worse.
Waiting on hold x2 for over an hour, 2 email to their customer service with no reply weeks later. Zero customer service. Won't order from this company ever again!
So disappointed with Unique Vintage. I ordered 5 items during their summer sale and some of the items were complete garbage. Fabric so sheer it was completely see through. When I tried to return they are saying all items sold during the summer sale are considered final sale. My order confirmation does not say any of my items are final sale but they are refusing to abide by their own return policy. The items in question are still on their website and they are still not listed as final sale. So sad, I've shopped with them for a while now but I never will again.
They still haven't shipped my order and it's been almost 2 weeks since I ordered. Order *******. I contacted customer service three times to see when my order will be shipped as I needed a dress for a wedding in a week. I thought for sure 2-3 weeks would be enough time since their standard shipped says it will be delivered in 7-14 business days. 14 business days is almost 3 weeks! We're almost at that point and still nothing has shipped! I kept getting a cookie cutter response that a separate email will be sent when my order has shipped. Asked if I could upgrade to faster shipping, pay the difference and have them pick my order asap, still a cookie cutter response that nothing can be changed or modified once an order is placed. Either they have draconian policies or a really crappy order processing system. I'll definitely think twice before ordering from them again.
Said it was delivered when I never received shipping confirmation. Then ghosted my emails requesting my further info.
Due to a computer error, my dresses I ordered for my trip were sent to the physical store for pickup. I mentioned that I was worried that they would arrive after I left, and Jennifer handled it immediately and handled the issue in a calm, quick manner! I cannot thank her enough
Penny, my customer service specialist, went above and beyond in my opinion. I was so frustrated I threatened to shop elsewhere, and some (nowadays most) support specialists would gladly say good riddance; the fact she instead went the extra mile to make me smile means everything - plus the clothing styles are AMAZING.
I put in my first order with them and eagerly awaited my outfits. I mean "sitting by the window obnoxiously staring at the front stoop while sipping coffee and mentally begging for them to show up already" so I could wear them to my birthday party and a good friend's wedding respectively. I became that person who bounced outside every day to see if it was here yet, and hit refresh on my tracking number as often as possible. One day while I was working from home (thanks Covid!), I saw a notice come in saying my package had been delivered a few minutes prior. YAY! But I hadn't heard the iron gate open, nor had anyone rung the bell. Odd. I ran outside and there was nothing. Nada. I looked around and saw nothing. I asked the landlord's wife who was sorting through recycling outside if she saw anything arrive. She said no. So I waited. And waited. And waited. Then it was the end of the day and I realized something was really wrong. I reached out to Unique Vintage, and told them what was happening. Their customer service stayed in contact with me, and they said they would help me look for the packages in any way they could. They filed a claim on my behalf... yada yada yada... in the end, the package was never located. I was out the money AND had to repurchase things to wear to my birthday and the wedding, so I would be out double! Or WOULD I? Because they decided to refund me, and now they have a customer for LIFE. I have still never seen their clothing in person since that was going to be my first order. But despite that, I will happily reorder thanks to the customer service alone. (Though next time I'm going to pay for upgraded shipping that doesn't go through USPS like their free shipping eventually does. I'm too spooked by what happened to risk doing that again. From now on it's FedEx or UPS all the way from start to finish, and I'll ask for it to be signed for. I've learned my lesson. Now I'm going to use that refund to shop from them again! This time I will hopefully actually get the outfits. ;) lol!

For starters I'm a plus sized person, and they have a lot of cute plus sized clothes. But the quality is horrible, I bought two things from this store. The first item was a dress, it has enough fabric, the item doesn't run small, but it hurts. It pinches and pokes, I know beauty is pain, but its ridiculous. The second item was a jumper, cute. But I put it on, and a button fell off. It was loose too! It's not like I was struggling to button it or it was too tight, nah. Gravity just took it and it fell right onto the floor. Also on both of the items I don't think they've ever seen a person with breasts before. I was able to fix them and make them cute, but if you want to buy from this place, but make sure you know how to sew.
I had issues with an order and their team went above and beyond to make it right. I reached out and heard back right away, they presented me with a few options to deal with the issue and let me pick. Very happy customer
So this website is a scam. They are selling a pair of jeans that are made by a company called Princess Highway here in Australia for $170 when you can by the original ones for waaaaayyyy less than that! What an absolute joke. Do not buy here!
I ordered Unique Vintage Plus Size Emerald
Velvet Nicola Swing Dress. And was having some issues with FedEx. And Gabrielle went above and beyond to get things on track for me. I contacted her on more then one occasion. And she got the answers for me and got back to me right away. And on a side note the dress was absolutely beautiful and amazing. I would definitely recommend these people.
Although I've read negative reviews about their customer service I've never had to deal with them. I would recommend ordering one size up since their clothes seem to be slim cut. However, that being said, I have loved everything I've ordered from them! Definitely take advantage of their payment plans too.
I ordered an $88 skirt several weeks in advance to make sure it would arrive well in time for a big event. But then I just never received it or heard anything about where it was even after reaching out to Unique Vintage multiple times. I continued to receive no reply from UV, but then on my third attempt to contact them, was told the skirt was never in stock in the first place.
Since getting this news took a few weeks, I was down to the wire in terms of time before my event. But then I had the idea to call back again and ask if a larger size was still in stock. I was glad to hear it was! UV then Fedex Ground shipped it to me in hope of still getting it to me in time. I was thrilled to see the skirt came just in time, but...
It wasn't even the skirt I ordered. Thier fix to their first mistake was sending the wrong product.
I was completely out of time and out of luck. I then had to go through the rigamarole of sending back the wrong skirt. It was made of cheap, coarse taffeta-like fabric. Sort of like a discount costume material.
Store credit (as opposed to a refund) was pushed on me. I was offered a 20% discount on my next purchase though, so I could enjoy the process all over again.:)
$88 skirts are kind of a big splurge for me, so I assumed the material quality and customer service would reflect the higher price. It was more like dealing with a fly-by-night, discount knock off shop.
I have always been a big fan of Unique Vintage products. The style options, especially for plus sized individuals, are amazing! I recently placed a purchase online for a dress to wear at an upcoming event in a few weeks. I had selected an expedited shipping option for 4-6 business days, but quickly realized after my purchase that there would be processing time for my order, among other potential pandemic-related mailing issues that could cause some conflicts for me. I reached out to staff at Unique Vintage via email and asked if there was any way to upgrade and pay for quicker shipping to ensure the timely arrival of my dress. While their FAQ says that changes to the order cannot be made after payment processing and shipping, I received a quick response and was able to pay for quicker shipping while my order is still being processed! Many other sites would not have been so considerate, so I am very grateful. I really admire the quality of the articles that Unique Vintage offers and I cannot wait to receive my dress. I would recommend this business to anyone!
I was nervous to make an order at unique vintage after reading on line reviews. But I am so happy with my purchases! The quality is really good for the price, the sizing is fairly true. I did have some exchanges I wanted to make and their customer service was friendly and fast. I will definitely buy more from this site!
I read a lot of negative reviews mentioning the time it takes to receive merch and/or returns. All those people need to calm down and have some patience and gratitude towards everyone who has been working hard since the pandemic began. Everything is hard to get now, if you can get it at all. I didn't think the time it took was exceptionally long considering the times we're living in.
For anyone thinking about ordering from Unique Vintage don't. Save your money and go elsewhere. The items are over priced and the quality is comparable to Walmart at best. I paid over 100$ for a dress with a zipper that doesn't work and because I am an international customer they expected me to pay the return shipping to receive a new one. On top of that many of the items that are listed as available on their website aren't. I received a package with half of my items missing and had to fight to get my money back for those they never even shipped. Absolutely terrible business please save your money and go elsewhere.
I was thrilled to have such a wonderful on-line shopping experience at Unique Vintage! I was looking for vintage one piece swimsuits and found a huge selection. There were so many cute suits that I couldn't decide and I ordered four of them! By subscribing to the newsletter I also received a percentage off of my first order which is great. I had questions about my order and emailed customer support. I received a response in a very timely manner from Sylvie who answered my questions and provided good information. She was very personable and kind! She made me feel valued as a customer! I like that UV has a customer rewards program, too. It's nice to receive an incentive for shopping. I placed my first order on June 23,2021 (#*******). I received an email on June 24,2021 with a tracking link that did not work. On July 3, I emailed customer service and received another tracking number, which also did not work. On July 16, I called customer service and they stated that they would see where my package was and its status. I received an email with a FedEx tracking number, and it shows my item reached Texas on June 27,2021. It then took a grand tour of Texas, going back and forth to six different cities, and finally was last tracked in Houston, Tx on June 12,2021. I called customer service for the second time on July 22, and was told a replacement item couldn't be send until FedEx confirmed that the item was lost. I was told to wait until the end of the week, and I pointed out that the end of the week would be the next day. (This was what I was told the first time I called). Waiting 30 days for an item, and customer service refusing to send another when FedEx hasn't tracked the package in 11 days is very poor customer service. I doubt if I will ever receive this item, which is a shame since I really wanted it and this is the first time I've ever ordered from Unique Vintage.
Update: July 29,2021 On Friday, July 23 I placed a third call and spoke with customer service. They said they would ship a replacement and that it would take about five days. I received it today, July 29. The sweater is great.
My experience with this company started months ago. I ordered my Mother this lovely looking top for Mother's Day that said it would be shipped out within a week. A week goes by and no shirt, I contact them and they send a bogus tracking number. I let them no it's bogus, then they say the order is delayed for 6 days. Then it gets delayed again and again. I just have to buy another gift bc this doesn't come when they said. Then way later I get this horribly ugly swimsuit that is useless, and a wrenched cheaply made blouse that is nothing like what was advertised that I ordered. I contacted them again, but never got my blouse. I started looking through their site after I realized what was going on, and I have figured out what they are doing. They are using higher end clothing pictures from other sites and putting them on theirs. The majority of their site is fake! If you order these nicer higher end items, they do not even have them. I tried to get PayPal to make it right, but these bogus companies are so good at scamming people. They have something to prove a package was delivered and the customer can't prove it wasn't what they ordered. It's not fair, and it should be illegal! I got scammed, and no one helped me. I decided to put this review out here publicly bc I don't want anyone else to fall prey to these people. It only has one star bc I had to give it something.

Answer: I went off their sizing chart and everything fit perfect. Some dresses has different sizing measurements so not all XL are the same. I am guessing it is because of the material. One of the dresses I bought was 2 sizes smaller than I usually buy and it fit perfectly
