This is not just a negative review — this is a warning to any seller considering using Vestiaire Collective (VTR). I have personally experienced a deeply frustrating and unethical situation that has gone unresolved for more than two weeks. In early April 2025, I sold two items through the platform. Both buyers received the products and everything was completed correctly on my side. However, Vestiaire Collective has failed to release the payment for these sales. ⸻ What happened: 1. "Get Paid" section not working
I was unable to add my payment information through their "Get Paid" section due to a system error. I followed every instruction, changed browsers, disabled VPN, switched devices — nothing worked. 2. Repeated requests for the same documents
I uploaded my ID and proof of address multiple times. Each time I was told to re-upload them, despite the fact that the platform had already confirmed receipt. 3. Support chat history deleted or hidden
My entire conversation history with support mysteriously disappeared. Each new agent asked me the same questions again, with no access to the case history. Later I was told that my chat was "merged internally" and is now "invisible" to me. This is completely unacceptable and appears to be an intentional way to block accountability. 4. No meaningful support — only vague promises
I have been told over and over that my case is "escalated." Weeks later, I have received no answer, no fix, no update, and no payment. I am being ignored while the company withholds my money. ⸻ Violation of their own payment rules According to Vestiaire Collective's official seller terms, the platform commits to releasing seller payments within 5 business days after the buyer has confirmed receipt of the item. This condition has clearly been met in my case — yet more than 10 business days have passed, and I have not received a single cent. This is a blatant breach of their own policy, and there is no valid excuse for it. ⸻ This is more than bad service — it's unethical. They are deliberately avoiding responsibility. They are manipulating the visibility of communication. They are withholding funds owed to sellers. And worst of all: there is no accountability. ⸻ My advice: Do NOT waste your time talking to their support. It leads nowhere.
If you're in a similar situation, I strongly recommend going straight to the police, to French consumer authorities (DGCCRF, SignalConso), and taking legal action. Time spent chatting with their customer service is time lost. I have filed a formal complaint and am preparing to involve the appropriate regulatory and legal bodies. ⸻ Vestiaire Collective may look professional on the outside, but the way they treat their sellers is deeply flawed, dishonest, and possibly illegal.
They are withholding funds, refusing transparency, and offering no real customer service. Avoid this platform. Especially if you're a seller — there are safer, fairer, and more transparent alternatives out there.
