Unfortunately some sellers aren't showing photos of damages/defects of items & they aren't mentioning them in their descriptions. I wish Vestiaire would allow buyers to return items that don't match their description. Vestiaire also needs to allow reviews to be made for buyers & sellers as this would help get rid of dishonest people.

For the first time with Vestiaire I am disappointed I spent €240 on a bracelet that was "Faberge" sold as silver, within a few weeks of wearing it, the bracelet has turned black. I complained to the seller and was told to contact Faberge. I have very expensive braclets and also many inexpensive ones and the cheapest of them have never discoloured like this.

I followed every step of their process, including their so-called "second authentication check," which resulted in nothing more than a generic response claiming the item "meets brand standards." No report. No photos. No transparency. Instead of issuing a refund or acknowledging the issue, they relisted the item on my account — trying to force me to resell something I believe is fake. That's dishonest and potentially exposes me to liability. I've spent hours of time, lost income, and dealt with unnecessary stress fighting this. I've now escalated my case to Affirm (the financing platform) and am preparing to report this to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). Their support is slow, disorganized, and ultimately protects the seller — not the buyer. For a company claiming to take counterfeit prevention seriously, this was a total failure. I strongly recommend avoiding this platform unless you're willing to risk receiving a misrepresented item with no accountability.
