For the most part sellers are legit but the scammers that provide false tracking numbers are on here also and will take your money!

I have tried to find a way to send an email or notice to Tophatter about an item that I never received and there isn't any. I ordered on April 18th and today is 5/15/20 and still didn't receive item. Tracking shows on the day of purchase info and no other dates, so looks like it is still in China. The only way to get a refund is to send the item which is quite impossible if I never received it. Usually I have had a great shopping experience on Tophatter but this item seems to be lost in transit.

I have been with since 2017, k to buy something now to give money upfront is crazy, and not getting product that was paid for since march and they cancel item s you have been waiting for is real crazy, they end up selling that you paid for and cancelling your order for a higher price they dont call or ansewer your, call. I have bought more since april 1st 2019. But their favorite is after buying and winning, they tell your credit card is not valid, then i spend hundreds on the same card for gas, meals, grocer items with the same card and sell your item to someone else for a higher price, it is a total scam, because of the items made in CHINA YOU MIGHT NEVER GET ITEMS JOHNNY

To clarify, when the highest bidder wins an item it has always been Tophatter's policy that the site item is paid for before shipping.
A seller may refund an item if it is out of stock, however - it is against Tophatter's policy for a seller to fail to honor your sale. I will never ever order for tophatter again no refunds or my items i payed for the emails are bull $#*! they give u a date for a refund to change the date again im done they can had that $#*!
Some things are cheaply made but if u go over the reviews then go back to shopping u may have a better understanding of what to expect for the most part ive been happy with almost evrry package so far ive only had 4 that i wasmt happy with but its fun and i enjoy bidding on the itemsni want lol

You have about a 50/50 shot at getting what you think you are buying. Major "BUYER BEWARE" signs should be stamped all over their page. I give one star because I have gotten a couple really cute things, but nowadays, and after this purchase today, I will delete them PERMANENTLY.
They have items you can bid on direct to seller. If seller accepts your price you get the item. Sadly I was baited into the Buy One Get One Free. As I checked out, I realized they did not keep their end of the deal and give me the BOGO as stated in the top of the photo. As as of this morning, this is their ridiculous answer. Factual proof of fraud against me by this business. It has happened in the past and I let it slide. Not anymore.

Everything is so so right now. Orders do take a long time to arrive but the reason i took one star off is basically because of one of your sellers. My wife and i have our own app with you but there are times she will ask me if i want an item she may see at a good price. She won an item and even purchased another one when paying. After a couple of days she got an email saying the seller was not sending it because of wrong address. Well that's a total lie, im guessing the seller didn't want to sell the two items at that low of a price so they made up a reason. I have just ordered from the same seller and actually won the bit cheaper on the same item. So we will see if they do the same crap to me. If so yall should take them off. We are not going to take time to bid and finally win and then the seller not sell it. He should put a reserve on his stuff. Jerk

Answer: Justin you are absolutely correct. I find out the hard way. I had my own auction with nice AUTHENTIC designer items and cosmetics (Becca, Cargo, Smahbox, Too Faced, etc). I lost big time. $40 Cargo palette sold for $10; it cost me $15. Items that I started higher to cover my cost never sold. I still had to pay fees for the item being listed. A $200 Calvin Klein purse sold for $20; it cost me $80 wholesale. Run!
Answer: If you end up buying a few items from the same seller they can do a combined shipment but you rarely get the same buyer items since they only let the sellers sell 10 items a day. It is different for the sellers that have their own auctions.
Answer: You will notice the same names no matter the day, time etc. Bidding against you very often. Is it a coincidence? Personally I don't believe in coincidences.
Answer: Depends on what you are selling. Yes, a lot of items go unsold in the jewelry and accessories categories... as well as others. Coach and Michael Kors and other designer brands, not much goes unsold, because here's the catch - - you pay fees on the starting bid. TH wants everything to start at $1. So you get punished if you start higher as to not get screwed by a low purchase price. Say you buy a designer bag for $120. If you start that bag at $100, you're already paying over $10 in fees. **IF** you can manage to sell it for a profit, there are still the commission and bank fees. If you start it at $1, you're barely paying any listing fees but it might only sell for $80 (or less!). So, less fees, but you lost your ass on the item. It's messed up. Most sellers have put in their time to see if they can make a profit or to see if TH will change, but they all seem to end up leaving. I'm convinced the only ones who stay to sell there are the counterfeit or crappy quality sellers who are buying items for next to nothing, because that seems to be the only way to make a profit there these days. I would go the ebay route if you're looking to sell.
