Your page is set up so it is too easy to accidentally make bids on things unintentionally. Which I have done a few times. Then it won't let me cancel at times and at other times I get blocked from things I do want to bid on. I just don't like your sight. And your PUNISHMENTS are ridiculous, so I will not be using your websight in the future.
I was billed shipping on two items I purchased on the free shipping section. Messages have been sent but have not received any reply or credit.
Item received miss-sized was promptly credited back.
I thought this company was fake company at first. They are not they have great products and great people selling there items. I would recommend this company to anyone. The only down fall is the wait on certain items other than that they are great.
I love the shopping aspect, but there are things I ordered 2 months ago I still have yet to receive.
I purchased numerous varieties of items. Only one was satisfactory. They refunded more than a few items by way of credit. Clearly I requested reimbursement by way if irginal payment forms. After many attempts to get my money back I was forced to go to my attorney. Only then did they refund my money. Two more items to arrive and then I fully intend in cancelling my membership... hopefully it my items arrive soon because this 2 month delivery is for the birds.
I ordered a pocket watch for $29 on May 3 for my son's 21 birthday on the 4th of July and still have not received it and can't get a refund until July 27th. But something I ordered on the 22 of may for $8 and still have not received can be refunded on June 30th? I love this app. And love biding but the wait is ridiculous.
It has been good except the say the keep you informed on your package tracking, 24 to 48 hours. It is more like five to seven days or longer at the quickest. But except for that it is a great site.

Love the bidding but delivery takes forever! Ordered stuff way back at the beginning of may and I still haven't gotten it!
I completely enjoy the experience of bidding on items and it doesn't take long to bid on one item. In spite of the issues that I have I am still active on the tophatter app.
One issue is the large percentage of items that get refunded.
The shipping times can be over a month for many items and that's okay considering where some of them are coming from and the amount you paid for the item. Items that I bid on back in March and April and I've gone past their expected delivery date I'm getting a refund for but it's been two or three months.
Caution is needed because many of the photos are inaccurate and don't represent the product your bidding on. You really need to read the details about the product and you can check on the expected shipping dates there.
When ordering most of the clothing and sweatshirts they are Asian sizes; a 5xl pair of shorts is a 34 inch waist line! Again the devil's in the details.
Many toys are smaller than you expect.
Again the details and sizes are in the description so seeing something held in someone's hand it's not a good way to judge the size as many hands in the photos are tiny and the models are also pretty petite.
Many items (definitely not all) are also hmmm... The best quality that something cheap can be. I bought a heavy duty wedding tent that came with four walls and the photos look exactly like what you would expect to see in a wedding tent. I got mine for $45! BUT it is very lightweight. The polls are about three-quarters of an inch in diameter and the connecting pieces are plastic... Sounds bad BUT the fit and finish are excellent. No broken or bent parts and everything fits as they described and I truly like it. Heavy duty it is not.
If you miss an item in the bidding it is likely to show up again in another auction. I bought some garden shades and the first one I paid $19 for. A little disappointing when it arrived but I have bought about a half a dozen at less than $7. You just have to watch out and make sure you're not over bidding on something.

The second complaint is i signed up for free stuff site and was to get 3.00 credit and did not this was an offer on the Tophatter site

I have ordered about 25 -30 items since April, 2020 and they have failed to get them to me. Some have been lost, some have never been processed but I was charged. When you order plant seeds they don't label what your getting.
Didnt get what I bid on got a piece of cloth very displeased am done with tophatter had friends warn me but I didnt listen
I've been waiting for over two months for delivery
The worst ever! Who is writing the positive reviews? I have won A LOT of items but never received most them after months of waiting! I requested a refund and SOME of them were refunded but as a credit to their website. How is that useful when I order and pay for items and they never arrive? The money is added to my account as a credit - all in a circular motion with Tophatter as the winner - wash, rinse, repeat! No more and never again! I am filing a complaint with PayPal to see if they can assist me.

Answer: Justin you are absolutely correct. I find out the hard way. I had my own auction with nice AUTHENTIC designer items and cosmetics (Becca, Cargo, Smahbox, Too Faced, etc). I lost big time. $40 Cargo palette sold for $10; it cost me $15. Items that I started higher to cover my cost never sold. I still had to pay fees for the item being listed. A $200 Calvin Klein purse sold for $20; it cost me $80 wholesale. Run!
Answer: If you end up buying a few items from the same seller they can do a combined shipment but you rarely get the same buyer items since they only let the sellers sell 10 items a day. It is different for the sellers that have their own auctions.
Answer: You will notice the same names no matter the day, time etc. Bidding against you very often. Is it a coincidence? Personally I don't believe in coincidences.
Answer: Depends on what you are selling. Yes, a lot of items go unsold in the jewelry and accessories categories... as well as others. Coach and Michael Kors and other designer brands, not much goes unsold, because here's the catch - - you pay fees on the starting bid. TH wants everything to start at $1. So you get punished if you start higher as to not get screwed by a low purchase price. Say you buy a designer bag for $120. If you start that bag at $100, you're already paying over $10 in fees. **IF** you can manage to sell it for a profit, there are still the commission and bank fees. If you start it at $1, you're barely paying any listing fees but it might only sell for $80 (or less!). So, less fees, but you lost your ass on the item. It's messed up. Most sellers have put in their time to see if they can make a profit or to see if TH will change, but they all seem to end up leaving. I'm convinced the only ones who stay to sell there are the counterfeit or crappy quality sellers who are buying items for next to nothing, because that seems to be the only way to make a profit there these days. I would go the ebay route if you're looking to sell.
