I received a notification that a package was delivered, in 10 minutes I checked the mail and my apartment office and it was not there so I waited til the next day to check and reported that I didn't get it. I was told because it showed it was delivered to the mailbox that I was not covered with the buyer protection, I doubt I will be keeping most of the products now that I have won, I'd rather return everything now and get my money back on everything
I u defat and delays and everything but when you bid on things you want and the item gets refunded because of delays there should be a way for them to be available for you at the same price later on
Overall it has been great except that I've had orders cancelled because of my living in Hawaii and the auctions never state if there are Shipping limitations.

The items are fair and okay for what you pay for, but having to wait almost a mo th to get items is unacceptable. Ebay ships in 2 days. Really not worth the hassel.

I am officially addicted to Tophatter! I have gotten some great deals and the products are starting to come in. I would wish that if a vendor is unable to ship to a PO Box, I was notified before sale was cancelled. A great deal of things are coming from China, so be prepared to wait and be surprised when it comes in the mail :)

I have been satisfied with some of my purchases. But, the ones that disappointed me the most was the clothing. They don't always list the material the clothing is made out of, and sometimes even of it says it's made out of cotton it is not. I made the mistake of bidding on and buying a bunch of clothing that were supposed to be made out of cotton, but they definitely were not cotton. Also, some of the items looked and sounded good, but when I got them they looked like something from a five and dime. I learned my lesson the hard way, I will be MUCH MORE CAREFUL about the things I buy in the future.

They don't care about customer satisfaction! That buyer protection crap doesn't apply if you never received the item. They don't care! Your out on the cost as well! No poduct and no refund. So I've tried other apps and erased them all unlike (Deal Dash) you don't need to buy "bids" and never win what your bidding on then lose those bids forever having to buy more to get nothing.
I was pleasantly surprised at Tophatter's app I bid on something thinking I'd never end up winning it and received a notice saying I won my first bid! Yay! "What an app where you get what you want and makes you feel like you've won a race? This is great! I've won many times and I've lost as well but only because someone wanted to win more then me.
There has been a occasion were I wasn't happy with the item I received, I contacted customer support and they contacted me within a hour and were regretful I wasn't happy with my purchase and made sure I was satisfied by the end of the correspondence with them.
Now I've received a delivered message but have not received the item I've just contacted customer support and asked where my item was? I have every confidence it will be handled quick and competently and will definitely write about the out come if not.

Answer: Justin you are absolutely correct. I find out the hard way. I had my own auction with nice AUTHENTIC designer items and cosmetics (Becca, Cargo, Smahbox, Too Faced, etc). I lost big time. $40 Cargo palette sold for $10; it cost me $15. Items that I started higher to cover my cost never sold. I still had to pay fees for the item being listed. A $200 Calvin Klein purse sold for $20; it cost me $80 wholesale. Run!
Answer: If you end up buying a few items from the same seller they can do a combined shipment but you rarely get the same buyer items since they only let the sellers sell 10 items a day. It is different for the sellers that have their own auctions.
Answer: You will notice the same names no matter the day, time etc. Bidding against you very often. Is it a coincidence? Personally I don't believe in coincidences.
Answer: Depends on what you are selling. Yes, a lot of items go unsold in the jewelry and accessories categories... as well as others. Coach and Michael Kors and other designer brands, not much goes unsold, because here's the catch - - you pay fees on the starting bid. TH wants everything to start at $1. So you get punished if you start higher as to not get screwed by a low purchase price. Say you buy a designer bag for $120. If you start that bag at $100, you're already paying over $10 in fees. **IF** you can manage to sell it for a profit, there are still the commission and bank fees. If you start it at $1, you're barely paying any listing fees but it might only sell for $80 (or less!). So, less fees, but you lost your ass on the item. It's messed up. Most sellers have put in their time to see if they can make a profit or to see if TH will change, but they all seem to end up leaving. I'm convinced the only ones who stay to sell there are the counterfeit or crappy quality sellers who are buying items for next to nothing, because that seems to be the only way to make a profit there these days. I would go the ebay route if you're looking to sell.
