The company has garnered a mixed reputation among customers, with notable strengths in its engaging auction format and a diverse range of products that some users find enjoyable and affordable. Many appreciate the responsive customer service, which has been effective in addressing issues and facilitating refunds. However, significant concerns persist regarding product quality, with numerous complaints about receiving damaged or inferior items. Additionally, customers have reported frustrations with order cancellations and difficulties in the returns process. Overall, while the platform offers a fun shopping experience, it must improve product reliability and support to enhance customer satisfaction.

So far all the items I have purchased have been very nice. Christmas presents. Just make sure the size is what you want.
As a stay at home mom love it I love that you can spin the wheel and now compete different tasks to earn coins
The best part is dealing with customer service. Has not been an issue with credits for missing items or mistakes made in the bidding process. The items are as good as the prices paid or better.
I love to bid on things for a lower price. There are great selections and I love the badges makes me feel happy when I earn a new one
Good experience, bidding most items good quality only sometimes items not on time
I have been very satisfied with the purchases that I have gotten from Tophatter and I will continue to shop with them. They are one of the few places that strive to make sure that their customers ARE satisfied with their purchases and that everything is like it should be.
So far everything I have ordered has been great. I hope everything comes before Christmas I'm excited
Wonderful easy entertaining a very satisfied customer that will recommend Tophatter to family and friends
Initially great experience. But lately free spins equal crappy points and few new items
My experience with Tophatter is good. The bidding system is great because you don't have to pay upfront and only pay if you win. Pay attention to the description and not the image of the items because you don't always get everything in the image. The one issue I have with Tophatter is some of the sellers will refund your money if your winning bid is too small for them. I think those sellers shouldn't sell their products if they can't take a loss. That is why it's called an auction. Many of my products came way before the time stated, while other don't. You also get free tokens if you spin the wheel each hour, which is a great addition to the auction. I recommend this site to anyone.
You really have to read the descriptions and reviews on the items you bid on. Messed up a couple times, after the fact. Great refund feature. Really good otherwise. Have learned.
Deals are very good and I got my Christmas done! I even got some items for my self that I was looking for, I highly recommended Tophatter to everyone!
Nothing better than having fun while shopping, good products & deals.
I love shopping on Tophatter but I have too many items not delivered. I am going to slow bidding until more items show up.
Answer: There is also the FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION that can help with these types of problems
Answer: You have to read the descriptions. It will tell you if it's real or plated.
Answer: Do not deal with this company,,, all jewelery is crap n cheap
Answer: Tophatter will screw you over. Shop Amazon or overstock.
Answer: Good luck! Tophatter rippes off the sellers so they are not going to be very likely to return your money.
Answer: Justin you are absolutely correct. I find out the hard way. I had my own auction with nice AUTHENTIC designer items and cosmetics (Becca, Cargo, Smahbox, Too Faced, etc). I lost big time. $40 Cargo palette sold for $10; it cost me $15. Items that I started higher to cover my cost never sold. I still had to pay fees for the item being listed. A $200 Calvin Klein purse sold for $20; it cost me $80 wholesale. Run!
Answer: If you end up buying a few items from the same seller they can do a combined shipment but you rarely get the same buyer items since they only let the sellers sell 10 items a day. It is different for the sellers that have their own auctions.
Answer: You will notice the same names no matter the day, time etc. Bidding against you very often. Is it a coincidence? Personally I don't believe in coincidences.
Answer: Depends on what you are selling. Yes, a lot of items go unsold in the jewelry and accessories categories... as well as others. Coach and Michael Kors and other designer brands, not much goes unsold, because here's the catch - - you pay fees on the starting bid. TH wants everything to start at $1. So you get punished if you start higher as to not get screwed by a low purchase price. Say you buy a designer bag for $120. If you start that bag at $100, you're already paying over $10 in fees. **IF** you can manage to sell it for a profit, there are still the commission and bank fees. If you start it at $1, you're barely paying any listing fees but it might only sell for $80 (or less!). So, less fees, but you lost your ass on the item. It's messed up. Most sellers have put in their time to see if they can make a profit or to see if TH will change, but they all seem to end up leaving. I'm convinced the only ones who stay to sell there are the counterfeit or crappy quality sellers who are buying items for next to nothing, because that seems to be the only way to make a profit there these days. I would go the ebay route if you're looking to sell.
Answer: Yes! Sale of counterfeit items is prohibited. If you are concerned about the authenticity of an item purchased on the platform, you may return it for up to 30 days from delivery. See full details on our return policy here: http://tinyurl.com/h7xokwj.
