The company has garnered a mixed reputation among customers, with notable strengths in its engaging auction format and a diverse range of products that some users find enjoyable and affordable. Many appreciate the responsive customer service, which has been effective in addressing issues and facilitating refunds. However, significant concerns persist regarding product quality, with numerous complaints about receiving damaged or inferior items. Additionally, customers have reported frustrations with order cancellations and difficulties in the returns process. Overall, while the platform offers a fun shopping experience, it must improve product reliability and support to enhance customer satisfaction.

In the the first photo it's supposed to be new and it looks as if it been used already from the screen. The second photo I received lingerie and the thongs were broke. The last two is supposed to be real jewelry but I didn't see the ingraved 14k and 925 on the jewelry. I just feel like we all is being bamboozled and we're spending our hard earned money on these items.
We have bought several items from them. And I gotta say we were very disappointed in items we received. My wife ordered a 60 watt sound bar with woofer but when we got it it was a 20 watt sound bar no sub woofer We sent it back. Got a refund but was a big waste of time. Then I got 50 drill bits. They have a pic there of a nice set with case and about 100 nice bits different sizes and the tell you that you get no case and 50 bits of various sizes But when I got them I had a to laugh. They were about the size of my wife's sewing needles. My truck key is longer then any of them. Very disappointed in them. So my wife got some 14 Kt princess cut diamond earrings now we knew the diamonds would not be real. But they were like a cheap bubble gum prize you would get from a gumball machine. We just found out about this site the bidding seemed legit and we bought several items then when we got the items we realized it was all a scam. You don't get your items for like a month after you order them but trust me they will send nothing but cheap trinkets for your not
I enjoy this site SO much! I always have fun competing for items. I'm a daily bidder and have landed so many cool items. I start my day with Tophatter and end my day with Tophatter. Thanks for being awesome!
You don't get what you order & clothes all to small. I brought a 5 x jacket when I got it was to small it fits my 8 year old granddaughter bull crap!
I recently received an item from one of their auctions that did not match the photo on the auction and was deceptive. I received a prompt credit from Tophatter.
I have seen items advertised on Facebook for prices a lot higher than what I can get them on Tophatter. I Love this site and have told many of my friends that are now addicted. I get on and I find myself shopping for hours! I have received a number of items and am thrilled with al of them.
Gotta watch and make sure that you get all the items you paid for cuz I haven't gotten all of the stuff I won and paid for
All in all Top hatter is a good website. But to a new comer I would suggest that they read the description of the product before they bid, some items are miss leading. Top hatter is a good place to find gifts and items at a reasonable price.
Every transaction that I have had with Tophatter, has been a positive one. No complaints from me. I have enjoyed shopping online now.
Sellers cancel orders because they didn't get enough money in a no reserve auction. I think if they had a price in mind they should put a reserve bid on it. Also with canceling the orders they should be penalized or forced to give item to winner
I shop Tophatter because of the diversity of items available. Try it, you will enjoy it too!

I've done most of my Christmas shopping already. Yes somethings are coming in later than I wanted, but there's a lot going on in the world. Anything that was sent to the wrong address they QUICKLY refunded my money.
I've already purchased more than half my xmas gifts on this site. There have been some really great buys and a lot of good quality items. Some of the items can be hit or miss as far as quality goes but i have found the majority of the items I have purchased and been great items and good enough for gift-giving!
Owe me many items way past due. They say account cancelled and will NOT let me access site to find out about items. No customer service or answers, just out all my money. Plus received a ring that was very pretty on site. When received looked like something out of a gun ball machine.
I ordered three blankets and they were not anything like I expected they were lap covers. I could have bought and blankets from Walmart for the price I paid for those
They claim it was delivered but when I spoke with my mail carrier he said he never ordered that package that due to all the extra mail due to the election they r using FedEx and ups.ive had no trouble getting my small packages but my electronics is different and top hatter won't answer about my missing packages
I really love this site but the problem is that alot of times items say delivered and I never received it
Answer: There is also the FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION that can help with these types of problems
Answer: You have to read the descriptions. It will tell you if it's real or plated.
Answer: Do not deal with this company,,, all jewelery is crap n cheap
Answer: Tophatter will screw you over. Shop Amazon or overstock.
Answer: Good luck! Tophatter rippes off the sellers so they are not going to be very likely to return your money.
Answer: Justin you are absolutely correct. I find out the hard way. I had my own auction with nice AUTHENTIC designer items and cosmetics (Becca, Cargo, Smahbox, Too Faced, etc). I lost big time. $40 Cargo palette sold for $10; it cost me $15. Items that I started higher to cover my cost never sold. I still had to pay fees for the item being listed. A $200 Calvin Klein purse sold for $20; it cost me $80 wholesale. Run!
Answer: If you end up buying a few items from the same seller they can do a combined shipment but you rarely get the same buyer items since they only let the sellers sell 10 items a day. It is different for the sellers that have their own auctions.
Answer: You will notice the same names no matter the day, time etc. Bidding against you very often. Is it a coincidence? Personally I don't believe in coincidences.
Answer: Depends on what you are selling. Yes, a lot of items go unsold in the jewelry and accessories categories... as well as others. Coach and Michael Kors and other designer brands, not much goes unsold, because here's the catch - - you pay fees on the starting bid. TH wants everything to start at $1. So you get punished if you start higher as to not get screwed by a low purchase price. Say you buy a designer bag for $120. If you start that bag at $100, you're already paying over $10 in fees. **IF** you can manage to sell it for a profit, there are still the commission and bank fees. If you start it at $1, you're barely paying any listing fees but it might only sell for $80 (or less!). So, less fees, but you lost your ass on the item. It's messed up. Most sellers have put in their time to see if they can make a profit or to see if TH will change, but they all seem to end up leaving. I'm convinced the only ones who stay to sell there are the counterfeit or crappy quality sellers who are buying items for next to nothing, because that seems to be the only way to make a profit there these days. I would go the ebay route if you're looking to sell.
Answer: Yes! Sale of counterfeit items is prohibited. If you are concerned about the authenticity of an item purchased on the platform, you may return it for up to 30 days from delivery. See full details on our return policy here: http://tinyurl.com/h7xokwj.
