I have had 2 different situations where I have ordered multiple large expensive items and they are always sent somewhere else, even though I have the tracking number with my address. Very frustrating when you are using things like this for Christmas gifts. I have received most ( not all) of my small items! The lack of phone number is frustrating as well.
Been good so far some stuff was not like it showed but most was ok no instructions with some items i ordered

Metal cars that my wife ordered weren't metal, they were plastic.

Tophatter says i received an item did not,,, sent request to fix... NO RESPONSE they sent me a received report of something i did not receive... they will not responmd for weeks now

Don't buy, or bid on the Scrounge site Tophatter! They are very dishonest! Your item is coming direct from China, and will take at least 2 months to arrive, if it arrives at all! I had a item recently never arrive, and got a bogus email from crooked Tophatter, saying it was delivered. They won't even say who the carrier was! Do not bid on their junk! Pay a couple dollars more, and buy your item from a local store, or buy it on a trusted site, such as eBay!
I had an issues with a shipper who kept saying my order had been delivered and when I reported this, it was resolved in a fast frame of time. I do think that when they have shippers who lie about a shipment delivery and it wasn't even shipment... they need to get rid of those shippers. I ordered something that I was really counted on and it was a big let down. But again, Tophatter has been GREAT to deal with.
Tophatter has been a wonderful site to buy Christmas presents, I got all of my shopping done useing this site, Highly recommended!
If I could give this place zero stars I would. You bid and win then pay. You get a delivery date that is a month or more from when you pay. That date comes and goes and you don't get what you paid for. When you contact Tophatter instead of a refund they give you credits on their site so you can bid bid on more items that you will NEVER GET. And even the credits are rarely the amount you actually paid.
I was very happy with Tophatter at 1st,. They have a lot of nice things & you can get them at a good price in the auctions. The only thing is a lot of the sellers on Tophatter will give false advertising so when you receive the item(s) you won, a lot of the times it's not what you read or seen in the description. If you plan on bidding on any items just make sure you know exactly what it is you are bidding on by the reviews of the item. It is the easiest & truest way to know about the items you are bidding on.
It's fun and easy. I love seeing what awesome deals I can get! And now they have all the ways to earn points and get credit to spend on auction items, love it!
I order stuff and it never shows up. The pictures of items you are bidding on end up looking 10x better than the actual product. They continuously change the arrival date. They mark an item as delivered when it fact they have not been delivered. They are getting just as bad as the Wish app and that is the exact reason I stopped using Wish. After I get (or don't get) the about 50 items I am waiting for I will be deleting this app
This company truly cares about there customers and they handle any issue you may have in a fast and professional manner to me this company has respect for there customers and the word I feel that represents this company would be integrity.
