I am a landlord and have been with sear for 15 plus years, - they now send a local company, then send a supervisor and i cant get any follow up, and they resend service men who often dont show up, and they cant find parts and they won't authorize replacement. There is no number for supervisor, and no email responses. I am taking my business to PC Richards - really!

We ordered an item online, it was delivered broken. In writing they promised to deliver a replacement and pick up broken item. They broke their promise and would not help in any manner, including a refund or discount. They claimed we had to drive over an hour to return it back to the store. We ended up having to dispute the charge through our credit card company and won after months of waiting. A complete scam, would NEVER order from them again. They were the least helpful company we have ever worked with.
We bought a dishwasher few month ago. Since Sears installation charges almost double of the local plumber, we paid local for installation. During the process of moving, water leaking on the dinner room floor. After first try out washing, water won't drain completely. I called plumber for help. I was told that I have to call Sears, it was a default product. However, Sears call center in foreign country refuse arrange plumber even to take a look. I was told that they can ship me another one, if I can put the default one the box ready for moving.
I was told that my purchases would be put on a 18-month promotional no interest payment period, but with my 2nd bill I noticed that I was in fact being charged interest. I called the call center and yes, was annoyed with the long automation, but when I did finally get to a customer service rep she was able to help me. She was clearly from another country, but I could tell she were trying to sound as if she were from the United States. While I found that funny, it was nice to be able to understand her better than other calls centers that have outsourced to Asia. She was able to resolve my issue.
An order for 2 appliances made almost a month ago was charged to my credit card but has not yet arrived. Absolutely no communication and when I called customer service I couldn't even understand the person I was talking to. They kept telling me it would be delivered to the store yesterday but couldn't understand yesterday was a day ago. Worst company ever. Deal with your local sears store and not sears.com.
Bought two dressers. They came unusually fast. Main box was damaged partially opened and I could see the boards were rotten, water damaged and crumbling. I didn't open the other boxes and inquired for a return and refund. Sears won't take responsibility and pushes you off to Vir Ventures. Vir Ventures did the same. Offered me 50. To keep the dressers. I said, no I want a full refund because the dressers were delivered damaged. I paid over 400.00 in shipping the boxes back.
Vir Ventures got back to saying they won't refund my money because one board was completely broken in half. The box it came in had no damage ( as pictured: smaller box on top) so I'm pretty sure they deliberately broke the board. They didn't send pictures of of the box I opened (as pictured: big box on bottom) and I know why:. The boards were obviously old, stained and damaged and matched why I was returning them.
Sears sent me a message pretending to escalate and reconcile, but it was a lie.
Don't buy from Sears and Amazon using third party Vir Ventures. Vir Ventures is a Scam!
Do not buy any hand held leaf blower from sears. They fail compression within 5 hours of using. 2 blowers failed compression. I will never purchase a sears product again. Nearest repair place is 200 miles from me.the idiot rep. Had no idea what to do for me. Really bad customer care..
I have a 88 year old grandmother, whom I am the POA for and Ive had to start paying all her bills for her and every company on the planet has accepted these POA papers, EXCEPT Sears, stating I need to go have the attorney add my address, when NOBODY else has ask for my personal information. I dont mind giving it and I tried to verbally but NO, they expect me to pay the attorney just to add that just for them! Why did you need that I dont know and why you cant take it verbally, is RIDICULIOUS! So I have to physically go through hell just to get a live person EVERY MONTH to get someone to take a payment over the phone. THEY EVEN TRY TO CHARGE ME $5 FOR TAKING A PAYMENT OVER THE PHONE! HOW LAZY! Rude and hateful and like pulling teeth trying to get help! I will be so happy when she pays the company off! I have wasted sooooooooooooo much of my time and get my anxiety up just to pay a payment. Aint nobody go time for such!

A repairman came to my house this morning to fix my ice maker. After he had left, I noticed that the ice maker was leaking and it was dripping onto the floor. I called Sears back in the morning for the repairman to return and they said they would call me back. When I didn't hear from Sears, I called again. Sears still didn't return my call so I called again to find out there is no repairman going until Monday; today is Saturday and my floor is going to be ruined. I can't stay up all weekend to wipe this water up all night. I wouldn't mind if I didn't call Sears this morning for the repairman to come back.
It's a con. They are keeping my $900 for 7-10 days, when the dishwasher was unavailable. Isn't that stealing?
The customer service was really bad. This is all regarding delivery of a refrigerator. They gave us a delivery day and time the day before delivery- I took off work to be there. I contacted them one hour after the delivery window because delivery had not been made. They said it was still to come. Then 30 min later we received a prerecorded message that said delivery had been canceled and to reschedule. We called to reschedule and they said it would be a full week later. We asked if it could be sooner and they said they could not. We asked if we could go to warehouse and pick up and they said yes and gave us two phone numbers to arrange w warehouse. One number turned out to be disconnected and no answer at the other. Called back and they said they could deliver in two day but we couldn't pick up at warehouse after all. The delivery in two days did not occur either. Called back and they reverted back to the one week later. Then asked if we could add old appliance pickup to it. They said yes for a fee. Paid the fee and asked for assurances because of all prior issues. Told me there would be no problem. When they delivered refrigerator they refused to do the pickup. I called to complain and got the pickup fee back but the whole thing was ridiculous. I went on the website and wrote a complaint with a detailed explanation regarding their customer service and delivery — with absolutely no response in over a month. They do NOT care about their customers.

Stay far AWAY FROM SEARS & their DELIVERY! I have had the absolute worse experience EVER with Sears! I will NEVER order nor use this company ever again! I ordered my refrigerator on 11/5, I just today 11/26 received my refrigerator after Sears tried to deliver me 2 damaged refrigerators. Ordered a brand new washer from sears.com and it does not work. They refuse to replace it. TOTAL lemon. We have called and dealt with them for 5 months and they just keep telling us to try different settings on the washer but will not replace it or give us our money back. $1200 out and now we have to try to dispute it on our credit card. We started calling them immediately when we got the washer because it didn't work. Waited 2 months for a service appointment and it still won't work. We've wasted so much time on this and still don't have a working washer. Its sickening.
I needed a new riding lawn mower and found w hat I was looking for on Sears onlinve. Sears.com showed it to be in stock with a delivery date four days away. I placed my order and payed via credit card. I received my order confirmation and confirmation of my delivery date. The night before my scheduled delivery I received a text with a delivery window of two hours in the early morning the next day. The day of my supposed delivery I waited until early afternoon before beginning to call what they laughingly refer to as Customer Service. Four different times I was told that someone on the delivery team would call me.
They never did! On my fifth and final call at 5:00 p.m. I reached someone who told me that my mower was not on the truck and as a matter of fact was not in the warehouse and they had no idea as to when they would be getting this item in. How in the hell can you sell something you don't have, arrange a delivery date, confirm the delivery date the night before when you don't have the item to sell. The only reason they get one star is that there in no lower rating. Sears used to be a reputable company, I will never buy from them again and strongly urge anyone from doing so.
The iShopDirect seller at Sears online stole my money. In his policy they say to give 30 days to return the product and NEVER answer or approve the return, this so that the 30 days pass and thus not refund your money. IShopDirect robbed me and Sears helped them steal my money! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP FROM iShopDirect! I have three outstanding work orders waiting to be completed since May 2021.
I have been blown off a dozen times. No show at least six times after appointments were made. Never completed repair on my oven. After three months I hired another appliance company to complete the job.
All these repairs were in the window of my service contract. It expired in July but I was told it would be completed because they were open cases. You can't get them to my home to complete. Forget the service protection plan, not worth the aggravation! Worse service ever.
I ordered patio furniture in June was told 2 week delivery I did not get it for the Fourth of July I waited home 5 different days for delivery no one called or showed up the customer service people from India just kept making promises they could not keep also the warehouse was no help at all I could not get ahold of anyone to help me I just canceled my order in August. I will never order from Sears again I'm not surprised most of their stores closed.

Answer: Find out what Baston Shoes is and how they work with Sears. I would also file a complaint with the Consumer Protection Agency, the BBB and all of the review sites on the internet. You'd be surprised how fast companies respond to BBB complaints.
Answer: My best recommendation would be to contact the corporate offices and work your way up the chain until you get someone in charge and let them know that taking your money without having the item 'in stock' and available to ship as soon as it is paid for is a violation of the Consumer Protection Act. If they still don't send it, I would file a complaint with the Consumer Protection Agency, the BBB and all of the review sites on the internet.
