On January 25 and 28 2018 I had purchased order number 470958343 and 469767792 for an upcoming trip to Jamaica dated February 14, 2018. Order number 470958343 and 469767792 both was delivered to my door, which I had never received. I used my credit card to make these purchases and paid back my credit card for items I had never received. I believe to be a valued customer for I shop at Zara often for my children, family, and myself; weather it is online or in-store. If you look at the history of my online account you will see that over the last year or more, I make regular orders from your company Zara. I am an honest unemployed single mother of two who is currently a student at York University in Toronto. I am studying for my honors in Business and Society to one-day work in a non-profit organization or to create one myself in the near future. I am currently working on an online store for affordable accessories so I some what have an understanding of providing items to customers that makes them satisfied with the money they spend. In my situation I received nothing for the approximately total of $300 Canadian dollars I spent with Zara company. Stealing is not apart of my history or personality and the conclusion of this investigation suggested that I could have possibly stolen these items. I have requested that the person who had delivered these items to be investigated and my request was pushed aside from the representative that called me on behalf of Zara. Even though the GPS has shown that the truck was located at my building, there is no actual confirmation that items were left at my door. I have spoken to maintenance for the building property regarding my packages and I can say without a doubt if the packages were left at my apartment door, maintenance would have brought it to my attention to avoid theft and this did not happen. I've seen in the past experiences, with other companies where the delivery person did not appropriate complete their job and went against work policy, stole from their own delivery company, and I believe investigating the delivery person should be an option to be fair on my behalf.
I was told Zara would not be responsible for any lost or stolen items, because delivery was set to have items sent to address without having a signature upon arrival. I did not request this; I was even home that day and did not receive a knock on my door. This is extremely disappointing for me because, I love Zara items, these orders where not one or two single items for myself, but for family and friends. This investigation has broken my loyalty to your company, where Zara will no longer be my first option to shop at anymore especially for online purposes. I live in an apartment building and leaving packages at the door, without signature is not permitted in my apartment building. I was told I requested this option, which is ultimately false for there is no option for that online and I am accustomed to receiving an attempt to deliver notice and picking up packages at my local post office when packages has not been accounted for. In the past I had inquired having packages left with building management or at my door; the instructions I had received was delivery companies do not leave items unless it's a house and initially for theft purposes. There have been times, I would request for an in-store pick-up at the nearest Zara location, but because I had made plans to leave the country, having items delivered to me was the best option at the time. I am very disappointed with Zara for I believe the company has some part of responsibility of returning either the items or my funds back. For me, $300 Canadian dollars is a lot, to the company Zara that should be small change. I feel disrespected, unhappy, and unsatisfied as a loyal customer. My history with Zara both online and in-store has drastically shifted to a negative place and I can honestly say sad about this situation for it is not just about the money. I had NEVER requested to have items delivered without signature at any recent orders, and now I look like a liar to my family and friends, which I despise such image. It is unfortunate on my behalf for some of the items were supposed to be given to my god daughter who turned 6 on February 16, 2018 and I had to leave the country without giving her a gift.
If I can have this matter looked further into I would greatly appreciate it for the way this situation was dealt with over the phone also I was not pleased. I am sure there is a recording to this conversation and could be found with patience. The attitude of the representative was similar to a "snooze you loose" attitude. I did not receive these items because they were delivered to my door without knocking, notification, or signature.
I purchased a dress and skirt for my daughter online. One item arrived ripped, and the the other began to tear after she wore it for a grand total of ONE times. That's sad. Also I recently read an article about how they don't even pay their employees fairly in the factory. It's not like they are offering bargain bin prices so it is sad to see that they are heading downhill. I will not be buying her anymore clothing from here anymore unfortunately.
Don't ever shop online at Zara! My order was apparently delivered during a time when 2 people were home. Even if they'd left it in front of the door, that would have been extremely careless. My house is at a street with many people walking past. I contacted customer service. They've denied my claim. Don't ever shop with them online, it's been a horrible experience!! I would give 0 stars if I could.
Just recently moved to Europe and discovered Zara!
I am totally in love with their collections!
The online shop is equally great!
kicked mr enza denino and me out. CX in the chat lads. Callers led to Paul getting kicked out of store on stream just before he bought some sick threads. Security are cucks
Seems like others have had the same experience as me! I ordered six items online and sent back four for being poor quality or looking nothing like they did on the website. They processed three of the garments but tell me they can't find the fourth and so won't honor my refund. So now I am out of pocket for a pair of terrible-quality jeans that I don't even have to use a a cleaning cloth! On top of that, their online customer service is rude and unhelpful. I've shopped at their stores for years but this was my first time using Zara.com. I definitely won't be using their online site again and probably won't bother going into a store either. Spend your money on better quality goods, elsewhere!
I have proof that one of the Chicago stores gave me a used gift card for a gift card that I purchased and gave to a friend for Christmas. After waiting more than two weeks for them to look into the matter, they said that there is nothing they could do about it. Lucky for me I use a great credit card company that promptly returned my money when I disputed the charge and gave them the details. I will never shop at Zara again and I encourage everyone to stay away. Everyone makes mistakes and obviously they are not willing to admit it when they do. Shop at your own risk. I was not surprised when I went to write this review there were so many other poor reviews.
Wished there was a way to give negative stars for the review, a one star seems to represent this company is worthy of any positive recognition. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE company - bought a pair of underwear, wore them for 15 mins, they ripped, took them back and was told since they were worn they would not refund or exchange them. The store manager screamed at me, customer service was on the side of the manager, called the NY corporate offices and was not allowed to talk to anyone --- was told if I had a problem call their customer service line --- company DOES NOT CARE about the customer. They sell $#*! quality clothing --- DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY --- SERIOUSLY HORRIBLE COMPANY!
Horrible customer service. I purchased a pair of pants. They were defective, and therefor I was told to send them back to the company by Canada post (a shipping label was provided). A few weeks went by and I called to follow up, which they then told me they lost them and cant locate them in their warehouse. After speaking to countless rude and useless managers, they told me theres nothing they can do and I wont be getting any re-inbursement. More or less I was robbed by Zara. I will never shop there nor recommend that store to anyone.
they will simply read the policy that call back in 72 hours, receive email 1 hour, return process in 10-14 business days, supervisor call back, but get no feed back within those time frame. case number 23544704, please don't tell me you will contact me in 24-72hours. I tried for a month now. Call in multiple times, no one called me back or send me the email or process the return. Customer service should be provided when customer have time to call you, not wait for you to call back. we have jobs and things to do. if keep making mistakes in returning or providing actual customer service, you should close those department and let people know you can only do physical stores. 80% of the representatives cannot even understand my problem and not helpful at all, try to created duplicated case or ask for something i already told them over and over again in the beginning, can't find my case, can't understand the situation, simply told me return takes 14 days.wasted way too much time with them for a loss of $100. never had any experience with other business.I am shocked there is such unprofessional things existing, and it's from Zara!
I never received items ordered online to be picked up at store. Both kept blaming eachother, no one helped. Essentially stealing money from people. Order# 465682093
Bought a tweed top from them online, tried it on and the size fit, so I removed the tag. The day I intended to wear it, all the seams ripped after 5 minutes! of wearing it. Apparently the tweed was so thin that the stitches could not hold it together.
Now I don't get my money back, because the tag is removed. Really upset. I have never written a negative review about a store before, but this is really frustrating.
bought a gift card for my daughter. when we removed the security code sticker, it stripped the code. called Jan 2 for help. It is now Feb 1 and I still do not have any more information than when I first called. Several different promises were made. "You'll get an email with the information you need within 24 hours." One month later I have no information. "Oh, we are sending you a replacement card and you should have it within 3 business days." 3 weeks later I have nothing. "Let me check into that... 15 minutes later..."we don't know anything, can I call you back as soon as I have information? I'll call within 24 hours. 2 weeks later...nothing. Today, I was told "it's all resolved and we are sending you a replacement card express mail." We'll see...
Tip for consumers: just go to the store and pay with cash. you won't get any help over the phone.
Great value for money, nice products. Just make sure you watch a video of the clothes when buying because you can really see what the product will look like.
amazing new collection as always. Great designs. Prices could be cheaper but quality is better with time. Love Zara
I bought a coat online for my daughter Xmas pressie. Unfortunately when she tried it on it still had a security tag attached. We had to drive 20 miles to have it removed only after hideous service in store where we were asked to leave with the tag attached as they refused to detach it without a receipt. After demanding to see a manager they removed the tag. I contacted their customer service and can not speak to anyone or write to the company but had to liaise via a chat line. Eventually someone did contact me and left a message offering 10per cent off next purchase but no details of how to organise that. A voucher covering petrol and parking costs would have been acceptable but zara obviously do not care a about customers and for that reason I will never shop there again. Someone at zara needs to take account of these reviews and make drastic changes. Never again!!
I order online couple of items, one pair of shoes were missing!!! And they refuse to return calls or to return your money.! Dont order online!!
I purchased a pair of jeans in Oct 2017 at the Chicago, IL location- I live in Ann Arbor, MI. When I got home from my trip I wore the jeans for the first time and noticed that the inseam on my left leg would always move to the front of my ankle, I wore them a few more times and everyone kept noticing what the inseam was doing. When I held the jeans up you can clearly see the inseam was sewed all wrong and this was definitely a defective pair of jeans. I didnt know what to do because I didnt have the receipt anymore and the closest location I thought was Columbus, OH or Chicago, IL which both were 3+ hours away. I recently heard that Somerset mall in Troy, MI opened up a Zara so I chatted with someone online at Zara and told them the situation and they said its ok that I dont have the receipt, just take the jeans in and as long as they can verify the item is defective then theyll swap them out. So, I plan a day to go to Somerset (which is an hour away from where I live) to get my jeans exchanged and this literally was the worst experience Ive ever had at a retail location. First off, the line was absolutely insane- only two people working the register- but once I get up to the cashier, I tell her my situation and she calls over a manager, she instantly asks me for my receipt, which I dont have and she also says she cant do anything for me because I cut of the black tag on the inside of the jeans (I do that to all my jeans because it itches me) and I dont have the receipt. Also, they didnt have my size so they wouldnt have done anything for me anyway. This manager was SO rude and dismissive, Im not asking for ANY money back, Im simply asking for a non-defective pair of jeans and I understand I dont have a receipt and I ripped the tag off but the issue with this item is manufacture defect, not my doing. So, I write ZaraCare online via FaceBook and this was a whole other mess, they acted like they were going to help me, asked for my credit card number, the date of purchase, like they were going to look up the receipt, I also sent them pictures of my jeans and you can CLEARLY see the problem. They just wrote me back stating after extensive review they have confirmed that the defect reported is not of manufacturing. I wrote back asking how they can determine this item is even defective if they dont see it in person? And again, you can see the defect in the picture. Im never shopping at Zara again and I will write this review on every website, social media, etc. I paid $50 for those jeans (they are on sale for $15.99 right now) and I actually love the way they fit and considered buying another pair! But not after this! Zara does not take care of their customers and they definitely dont take ownership of when their products are defective!
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ever. Timely, inconvenient and dealing with disrespectful and rude staff. It took me 2 MONTHS to resolve a $200 lost order where the supervisor insinuated I lacked honesty about the loss of the package. No calls were followed by a promise of a 24-72 hour review/investigation. Many times these corps take advantage of people who lack resources to fight back. Shame on Zara. When there are so many choices as consumers --- better off choosing GAP - H&M - Even forever 21... They have excellent customer service and are eager to help when orders go wrong. - It took 11 calls and calling cooperate to resolve today and it still isn't for the complete order (which was in the same package) Pathetic and not worth the hassle even when the clothes are so cute.
Signed, small business owner
I hate to complain and have yet to take precious time out of my busy day to do so, but I feel like now is the time to stand up against large companies stealing from the hard working consumer. My elderly mother knows that I really enjoy shopping at Zara, so for Christmas she bought me some gifts from their store.
She assumed that if I did not like them I could exchange them for something that I would be able to wear, seeing as it WAS my clothing store of choice. She purchased them a few weeks before Christmas.....as most people Christmas shopping do not shop Christmas Eve for their presents. I was vacationing over the Christmas Holliday, then my grandmother passed away 12days after Christmas coupled with my sister and myself both being admitted into the hospital with influenza (almost resulting in my sister having her child at 24 weeks). I have finally recovered from the worst 3weeks of my life and went back to work today and stopped at Zara on my lunch break to return 400.00 worth of clothing that did not fit.
I did not want money back, just the same articles in my size. I waited in line for 26mins behind 3people all whilst 4 employee's stood behind the counter, one of which was working (3were socializing). When I got to the counter, receipt in hand, they told me unfortunately I was a few hours late of the 4week return period therefore I could not return, exchange, refund or get any compensation for these Christmas presents. JAVA at the Ottawa Bayshore mall was the most callous human being I have ever encountered.
When I asked for a name of which whom I was speaking with she said her name, but that the cashier was not obligated to give her name to me. I proceeded to look up the number to customer service and when I asked what I could do to merely get some clothing that would fit, Maria said that rules are rules and though this was over Christmas and the fact I was not here and had death and illness(all which I have documentation to prove I am not lying) it was to bad and there was nothing Zara could do. Maria went as far as saying that my elderly mother should have read the back of the receipt more carefully. I am utterly disgusted with the blatent theft of my mothers money and lack of customer service.
If anyone has any idea on how I may peruse legal action I would appreciate the advise.
This is absolutely wrong, immoral, and has to have some illegal elements to tricking the elderly out of their money In order for their own gain.I am owed at the very least goods i can use for the money they received.
I really like zara clothing, but will never purchase items online. I've order 3 items for my kid, the package was shipped apparently, but it never arrived despite the fact that they claimed it has. I genuinely have not received the package! So they went ahead and told me that they'll reship the items again. A month has passed and nothing arrived. I called and an actually nice representative apologized and said that the person didn't go through with fully processing my request. So one of the 3 items was now out of stock, and was refunded back to me, but the other two were now supposed to be shipped shortly. A month passed and once again nothing has arrived, I also haven't received any emails or phone calls. I got concerned and gave them a call because I wasn't sure what is going on, only to have an extremely irritated and rude representative bark out that all of the three items are now out of stock, and when I tried to explain my situation she continued dismissing my questions, and wasn't even trying to listen at was actually trying to find out. It's ridiculous, the company should really look into whom they hire!
we purchased a $260 leather coat for our son on 11/13 for Christmas. On Christmas day when he received it is was too small. We immediately ordered him the correct size and returned the wrong size jacket. We just received the returned jacket back refused because it was over 30 days since purchase!!! Are you kidding me???? So....that means DO NOT ORDER Christmas presents before 12/5 or you are stuck with it. I now have 2 jackets ......
delays in executing the order, doesn't have filters to show cheap products first. Very good designs and good quality.
el forro de la prenda estaba rasgado, intente utilizar la politica de devolucion, fue un caos, para finalmente no conseguir el cambio. realmente decepcionante tomando en cuenta lo famoso de la marca a nivel mundial
Ordered $200+ worth of clothing from Zara.com. They used a shipping company called "Lasership." Lasership tracking claims that they left the box by the front door of my apartment building in New York City. Great. That's basically the same thing as tossing the box in the middle of the street. I didn't receive the package, Lasership refuses to communicate with me, Zara could care less and refused to give me contact information for a manager so I could escalate the situation. Zara and Lasership are fraudulent. Beware.

Honestly, I love the company's sense of style and their clothes. I hate the volumes at which they sell, so nearly everything you buy you see on someone else within weeks. I despise their customer service and the disdain and disinterest of their assistants. The aggressiveness of their security guards is unparalleled, particularly in the Hong Kong stores where staff are paid to follow customers around the store shouting 'Hello, Welcome' at the top of their voice to announce they are behind you checking that you are not stealing anything!!! Unsurprisingly, during the week there are more of those staff scaring customers to death, than there are customers. This company is TOXIC and needs a completely new approach to customer services. I am an Associate Professor in a UK Business School and use Zara as an example of how NOT to run a retail company.
