Normally I've had a very good experiences at any rue21 location I've been to whether it was to the customer service, attentiveness, or of course the amazing sales that you always have. Unfortunately that is no longer true the rue21 located near me ( Baxter/ Brainerd) location I've had very poor experiences there. My explanation of why I say it's poor is strictly because of a manager there. When I first came into the store I was unaware that she was a manager I had to basically approached her asking her for a dressing room although she had already been back there seeing me patiently waiting, then on another account I had to get her attention to stop talking to another co-worker due to the fact that my friend had been waiting in line for 10 minutes to be rung up well she was fully aware that she was there. Then the other day well at another store she made an issue so I had to leave the mall. For some reason she's taking a very personal approach and treating me as a customer of not only rue21 but a customer of the mall very poorly in a hostile manner. Normally I would never make a bad review about somebody but when they feel that they can no longer shop in a store because of them and/or other stores surrounding them it's an issue that I feel that needs to be addressed. I love rue21 but I feel that I can no longer shop at the one nearest to me so I have to go to town over.

Some bull s***

I placed an order on December 9th because they were having a great deal not until today did I read my email saying it was all cancelled when I call to ask them about it all they can say is there not sure why what happen but I couldn't get the items at that cost anymore and when I told him that this wasn't my fault it was theirs what happened she just kept saying I'm sorry I'm sorry I can't help you I will never buy anything from them again what a scam! Thanks for messing up my daughter's Christmas false advertisement from Rue 21 never again!

Never Again

This was my first, and last time, placing an order with Rue21. When I hit submit to place an order this morning, the website said they were experiencing some technical difficulties. So, I waited about an hour and made sure that I didn't have a confirmation email that my order went through. After not receiving a confirmation, I added all the items to my cart again and submitted my order. I noticed a few hours later that I received two emails at the exact same time with two different order numbers. I called the customer service line and a guy who can hardly speak English told me there wasn't anything they could do because I was suppose to call 30 minutes after the order is placed - that I didn't even know was placed, nice one Rue21. The only way to get my money back is to return it to a Rue21 store and I wouldn't be refunded shipping (I selected 2 day shipping at $20, so $40 for both orders). If it is still processing, why can't it be cancelled especially when it was a glitch with your system... I'm now spending $300 versus the $150 I planned. I wish I would have saw all the other reviews before purchasing. The stores are trash and I shouldn't have expected anything more online. When I called customer services, they were also have an 'unusually high call volume' - probably because the same thing happened to a lot of others.

Great clothing

Love rue 21. Some of the clothes are cheap in fabric but most aren't. They have some weird styles for girls. I do like some though. The perfume they have smells amazing too.

Oh dear :(

Well. I wish I had read reviews a little earlier. I placed an order and signed up for shipment updates over a week ago. No updates. So I called to check on my package only to be told the package "has been lost". The rep then stated he has to send a request for a refund that will take up "a few business days"... meanwhile I can go on website and order again. Wtf... why do I need to pay again, I ask if they can just re-ship my order. He says "no Rue21 does not have that capability". Then tells me that after I've paid for order again I can call back and they'll match the discounts of my original order. Pfffttt! So like a sucker I place another order (the order was a gift for daughter starting college) then call back to customer service when I note that the pricing was the same as previous order anyway. I get a new rep and explain what has happened and request expedited shipping for the inconveniences? Hahhh! She says "no... we are not able to speed up shipping of your new order in processing". AVOIDING THIS COMPANY FROM NOW ON.

Placed an online order at 10 pm their customer serivce line is only open from 10 am to 8 pm. My husbands pants were the wrong size so i called the next morning to have the size changed on my order. All i got was a waste of my time to give them all my information twice and be told you can cancel your order 30 minutes after. Well for one when my order was placed their customer service line was down for two i originally didnt want to cancel my order i wanted the items for Christmas gifts. Then when i asked to speak to a supervisor i was told shes too busy to take any calls. You dont have just one supervisor i have worked in customer service for 8 years. I will now be returning my order and no longer shopping with this company. And warn others for their holiday shopping. I wasnt going to shop with them in the first place due to multiple orders placed having their products rip within a week of getting them or them arriving damaged and of course it was a sale item they no longer carried so you couldnt switch it out. This company wont last long doing business this way and has certainly lost a paying customer.

Never order online

I order Christmas clothes and boots for my daughter on black Thursday and I got my box today addressed to me, but when I opened the box it wasn't mine it was supposed to go to New Jersey not arkansas and when I called them to tell them, he didn't actually surprised at all, he told me I can refund ur money and u can order again but that I can't get the sale prices, but for me to get sale prices I have to order 2 times, what? No I just won't buy from them, so I called the lady who's package I had and she hot one today as well and hers belonged to someone in Oklahoma and she called her to tell her she had her box from rue21 and the lady from Oklahoma had someone's box that was supposed to be in Texas! Ugh so yes don't order online, they can't handle your order!

Don't buy online!

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE rue 21, but the online store/customer service SUCKS. My order took 5 days to process, and once it finally shipped they sent me an email saying it would come the next day (May 7th) but then Immediately after I get an email from ups saying I would receive the package 3 days later (May 10th), package never came until May 12th, and after 10 days of waiting for my order they sent me the WRONG SHIRT. So I messaged via Instagram and they told me I would have to return the shirt and pay AGAIN for the same shirt I already bought! They didn't take the blame for their $#*! up. So now I'm stuck with a shirt I don't want, because whoever packaged my clothing didn't pay attention to the sheet that tells exactly what you ordered. I included the picture of what I bought VS what I got. Clearly not the same.

Worst store ever

The rue 21 in Hillsboro TX is the worst store ever. I don't think they know what customer service is. I pretty sure by coming in to there store they were mad they had to work

The estimated shipping was from 7-10 business days and I got my clothes in that expected time slot. I got exaxtly what I ordered and couldn't be happier with this order.

I ordered the Limited Edition CJ Black Cologne on 12/6/18. I used a promo code and free ship to store, which brought my total to $13.95. I processed my order through PayPal in order to refrain from putting my debit card info online.

I have called to check the status of this order a few times now, due the lack of corresponding emails. I have been given nothing but excuses. I was told by Marie that I used a foreign card (false because I am from the US; also false because I paid with PayPal). She then told me the payment was declined.

Upon learning this, I contacted PayPal, who told me that the payment was never processed and I needed to contact the company again. So I did.

This go-round, I spoke with someone (name was Stephanie?) who told me that I had a hold on my account. I argued because I knew for sure that was false. I told her that PayPal told me that the transaction was never processed. After going back and forth, I learned that my order was cancelled. She tried to play it off as the order was cancelled by me, which it wasn't. After arguing with her some more, she told me that the order was canceled by the system. I proceeded to ask why and she said the item was out of stock. That would have been nice to know when I placed my order, or even to know after the fact via a courtesy call or email.

I should not have been left in the dark with this.
The transaction is still pending on my PayPal account.

Worst Store Ever

Omg I was so excited when I first found this store because it had really cute clothes for cheap, and my order just came in today (timing was pretty good it took exactly one week for my order to arrive) I was so excited and I opened it up and what I got was complete CRAP! The clothes were so poor quality, seams were crooked on my leggings, both tops I ordered had loose threads everywhere, two sweaters I ordered were both way too wide (I think they may have given me plus sizes by mistake that's how wide they are it's a small and it's got the width of a large) I'm so frustrated. I also ordered a pair of earrings with fake pearls on them I didn't expect them to be that great because it's not real gold or real pearls but they were way bigger than they were in the picture online and more than half the pearls had fallen off the earrings (I didn't even touch the earrings or open the little bag they were in yet the beads were just laying all over the bottom of the bag!) what a disgrace this place is I want my freaking money back.

I am a worker for RGIS and I am just disgusted with the way a young African American girl was treated. She was so sweet and so funny she had me and another worker so tickled. But there was a manager who kept picking on her he would come to our section and scrutinize everything she did and then tell her she couldnt catch an attitude. I told her to keep her head up its ok. Towards the end of the night she was talking to another worker while counting and asked could he get the skew check she was counting and this same manager interrupted her and made the nastiest comment he told her youre going to do whatever I tell you to and told her to go to another section and she asked why would she go over there if she wasnt done here and he was so nasty to her and sent her home after being very disrespectful. She was in tears and she did nothing wrong anybody would have raised their voice he was talking to her like she was a slave and I will not be a bystander I came to visit the store in Wichita on june 22 and she was there and she now tells me they took her off the schedule for no reason and I hope she brings a discrimination case against your company I am also reporting this to RGIS corporate in hopes that they no longer do business with you if you let this continue. That poor girl was the sweetest thing. Myself and a couple of other workers are also willing to testify and i encouraged her to bring a case. I will keep messaging until I get a response. Ive posted on sever sites this needs attention.

I just want to write to customer service that I am very upset, I placed an online order and the order duplicated. Once I realize the order was duplicated I emailed customer service right away and sent 5 emails requesting for the order to be cancelled. It was not my fault that customer was not open during my order. You sent me a special offer to order without shipping at 10 pm which conveniently it was when customer service was closed, then I had an issue with my order you couldn't fix it the next morning how crazy. Then the very not helpful customer rep said I had 30 minutes to cancel my order. My question to you who was I was supposed to contact within 30 minutes if customer service is closed? I emailed immediately after placing the order. I am irate my card was charged for 6 shirts which means there is 2 of each shirt being shipped. How stupid is that? And there was no way to stop the processing or shipping.

I am irate and I will never order online which this company again... FYI I ordered just about every week. I have another order in the mail right now as well.

This is the first time I've ever given a review, it's just not something I do. But I am so pleased with my recent purchases from Rue 21 that I thought some positive feedback was needed. Reading through the reviews on multiple sites I see lots of problems occur in the online shopping part. While maybe I just got lucky with mine, I am so pleased with my online shopping experience! Being a teenager fresh out out of high school, about to start college, I do not have money to be going crazy on clothes, but since I'm starting this summer off 35 pounds lighter than the last, I was in search of cute clothes. When my mom suggested Rue 21 I was iffy because I hadn't shopped there since I was much younger and I don't remember the clothes being great quality. But I checked out the website and I immediately found the types of clothes I was in search for on sale! Really cheap/affordable prices and I was ecstatic! $70 later I checked out and waited eagerly for the day they would arrived. For $70, (I also found a coupon that had reduced the price to this) I was able to get two off shoulder tops, 1 romper, paper bag flowy pants, and a pair of light jean overall shorts. Shipping was super fast as well, I recieved my items within 3 days. Now for the quality, I was praying they were good and the sizing wasn't weird. But everything was perfect! Great material, everything fit me well! No complaints from me on this one. I will definitely continue to order from them!

I applied for a job MONTHS ago, It took the manager 1 month to set up a interview. I go in to have my interview that I THOUGHT went pretty well and I do not receive the promised feedback from this manager NOREEN REED! I called to follow up on my interview and almost every single time she was not working. She does not go to this job more than once a week. I find that unprofessional and rude, anywho! She looked me up and claimed that I would receive a callback and never did! If I didnt get the job she couldve just told me so 1 month later I come to HELP WANTED ADS FOR RUE 21 WHICH I HAD APPLIED FOR! F@&K RUE 21 BC I HAVE A JOB NOW! BYE

ONLINE SHOPPING

I am a usual customer of Rue 21 and never really had any problems until this. I normally do all my shopping in store but in this case I decided to do some online so I didn't have to drive 45-55 minutes to the store. I purchased jeans and shirts that equaled up to over 160 dollars and I was trying to use an online coupon that would have been close to 50 dollars off my entire purchase. Well, I paid and the next day I was going over it and I realized that the coupon did not work. So I called the company trying to get that money refunded back to me since it was a valid coupon and I talked with a lady that told me that the clearance items did not coincide with the coupon. However, online it did NOT clearly state this. I asked to speak to a supervisor because I was determined to get something done about this misleading coupon. I was told I could NOT speak to a supervisor, that there was not one available. Okay, I called later that day and I'm not sure what happened but I was hung up on. I called a third time, was told the same thing so I asked, again, to speak to a supervisor and this time, magically, I was able to. Well, he was, clearly, not trying to do anything to keep customers satisfied and I was basically told, "oh well."
This was extremely frustrating and disappointing to me and I honestly don't know that I will do any more shopping with Rue 21. I like the prices and I like the clothes, even though quality is poor, but this really makes me want to take my business elsewhere. Whatever I do, I will NEVER do anymore shopping online with this company.
