I have gone into the Rue21 in sterling a couple times and the same manager is always rude. She is a blonde young girl. She looks nice, but when I noticed something that I got on clearance wasn't rang up the price it was suppose to be, she told me she wasn't going to change it in a snippy way. Other times I have decided to not get any of my purchase because of how rude she was. I will never go to that rue ever again

Its going on 3 1/2 weeks I have not gotten my package yet & about a week ago i called customer service to get my confirmation & it was never sent! I been trying to call back but i keep getting put on hold for over 25min! Never had this problem with any other online store that i shop at but i shop at rue21 in the nearest mall so i didnt think i was going to have a problem. This is stressing me out. I NEED MY MONEY BACK
I placed an online order on October 21 and it has been processing for two weeks now. I have contacted customer service several times and have heard nothing but generic, copy and paste responses as to why processing was taking so long. Just today they "partially sent" my order even though I was told that all of my items were accounted for and ready to ship. To make matters worse I was charged more than the original total at checkout even though processing took over two weeks and three of my items will be "shipped at a later date." Looks like I'll have to file a dispute with my bank if my money is not returned. This is ridiculous and I will never shop at Rue21 again. Worst shipping experience I've ever had.
I placed an order an October 20, it is. Ow November 3rd and it still says it's processing. Contacted the company and they claimed it would've sent out in 1-2 days after their new shipping was implemented. It's been a week and still. Nothing. This is ridiculous! Did anyone else have to wait that long for one single item? Too bad I can't cancel it.
Placed an order online on October 25,2016 the order is still processing and its been almost a week. Talked to a rep on the phone, who was of no help.
He said it takes up to 10 days for the order to process even though the website states that it only takes 1-2 days to process the order and then 4-7 days for the item to arrive. He said I would have to pay for the expedited shipping, but that it won't even ship until Oct 31st or Nov 2nd.
Even though my item hasn't shipped and won't be here the day I need it by they wont speed up the shipping, or cancel the order. I ordered this early so it would be here by the time I needed, so I dont feel as though its my fault that the items aren't going to be here on time.
I placed on order for the first time on 10/10 because I'd gone to the store before but never used their website. It was a free shipping day so I thought, why not? That was a mistake because it took a solid week for the order to stop "processing" (even though it took my money right away, go figure) and I contacted them to find out what was wrong with the order and decided I would just like to cancel it because I didn't need the stuff that bad! So instead of canceling now all of a sudden (about 5 hours after I sent the message to CS) the items have been shipped. So it tells me I'll have to wait another 7-10 days and I'm like, what? But it came in four so I guess that's good. But before the package came the price of the items were taken off my bank statement, then put back on it, and just know I'll never do this again.
Order is still processing and the 7 business days have expired. Wish I would've read these reviews earlier. Hope I get my stuff before my vacation. They should clarify their shipping information
I want to know why my order NUMBER W******* got cancelled. One of the excuses for the delay has been that "they are moving to another warehouse". Order was placed 2 months ago. I've been having many issues with this online store related to this last order. I keep sending text messages and no one has contact me yet. Also a missing item from the order prior this one. I want my money reimbursed to my account ASAP. Very disappointed!.
Placed my order oct. 2. My order is still processing. I've called customer service 3 times in regards to this and they can't even give me possible date of when my items will be shipped. This store is all about false advertisement! About 6 months ago I tried to place an order online that stated "additional 50% off clearance" in reality it was up to 50% off in general. Since the discount didn't reflect at check out, I didn't place the order. Called customer service and explained that they needed to remove that ad, cause it was false advertisement. And as far as my current situation, advertising shipment in 4-7 business days is also false advertisement. This company really needs to honor what it advertises. I understand circumstances change, but this has been going on for over a month (according to previous reviews). By now there should have been a warning of some sort posted on the website to alert potential buyers. You would lose a lot less business!
So this is an update on my last review. I was waiting for my shipment and they sent in all of my things on October 10... I placed my order on October 2. I wasn't that disappointed because it did say 7-9 business days. The customer service was very cooperative and gentle with my complaints. She said that she'd refund my money completely if I didn't receive my order in 15 days. They're not that bad. Just a little disorganized. The clothes were super pretty and of great quality. Worth the 140 dollars I spent on them. Also, make sure to call them if it still says processing after two days. They will help you. Rue 21 is a really good store. Be patient though, they won't deliver in the time they say they do, but the clothes are worth the wait for the quality and money you spend.
I have been waiting 2 and a half weeks for my order JUST TO BE SENT! I called custimer service (big mistake!) and waited on hold for (a record of) 35 minutes! I called 3 other times throughout the day and never once did They answer! I have. E-mailed, texted and called MULTIPLE times and have not received even a letter in response! I would not order from them unless you LOVE being ignored! I will NOT be ordering from them again! It is not worth the stress and AWFULL customer service!
I placed an order from Rue21 online Monday, September 19,2016 and have yet to receive a tracking number saying that my order has been shipped and every time I go online to check the status of my order, it just says "Processing". I've been in contact with customer service multiple times. They've offered me a 10% discount on my next shopping experience, but couldn't do anything about my order. They told me that they're moving their distribution center to a different location and to be patient. One of the customer representatives even said that they would take $10 off my order because of the delay but I have yet to receive an email saying that they've done so! They should've notified customers in some sort of fashion about delays in orders due to them moving their distribution center BEFOREHAND, because I would've taken my money elsewhere!
Did I mention that it's now Tuesday, October 4th 2016 and my order is still processing? :)
On 9/18/16 I placed an order for three items. Their website clearly states that it takes a 1-2 days for processing and then the shipping that I had selected takes 4-7 days. As of today, 10/2/16, it has been TWO WEEKS and my order is still processing. The items have not even been shipped yet. I have contacted customer servive via email three times. The first time I waited the recommended 48 hours and received no response. The second time I was given the run around and told that I needed to be patient and that they had recently made changes to their online shopping section of their business TO MAKE IT A FASTER EXPERIENCE. What a joke! The third and final time I have emailed them I specifically asked about an estimation time that my order would be done processing and was given no answers just the same run around response. I am currently completely shocked by this company and feel like I am being scammed. I am calling tomorrow to cancel my order but from what I have read I am doubting they will do it. I will never shop from them again! Don't waste your time!
I have ordered from this store numerous times in the past and have always received the items quickly, they washed well and came in great shape and proper size. This time I made an order 9/21 and I am still waiting for my order to get out of processing.
I have emailed them twice with no response given, I have spent well over an hour in the last week listening to horrid piano music as I have been on hold only to be told to just be patient, it will be solved by 9/27 and today's response was they are changing warehouses and it will be a while. Then he told me in his choppy English, that he could give me a discount on this order if I waited a few more days. I asked him how many days was a few more days and he replied "the end of this week". I then reminded him tomorrow is the end of the week.
Once that was clarified, suddenly he wasn't sure what discount he could give me or if he could give me with accordance to Rue 21's rules. So I demanded that he cancel my order. His response to that was I had to wait for them to send it and then send it back and ask for a refund. WHY DO I NEED TO RETURN IT IF MY ORDER ISN'T EVEN BOXED AND READY TO SHIP NOW? Just cancel the order and let the workers move on with their day.
I did pay them through Paypal so I am filing a complaint today. I have no idea what happened to this store but I enjoyed shopping there and was excited to buy my teenage daughters clothes as they were always happy, but now I feel let down and taken advantage of by them.
I place and order on 9/19. Received a confirmation number and my credit card was charged but I never received a shipping confirmation. I contacted the customer care team and got a response on 9/24 stating that there was nothing they could do about getting the items shipped to me and that they could not refund me. So in other words just wait until I received the items. Still have not received the items and am now unable to track the package with the confirmation number originally give.

Tried to exchange item for different size of course they didnt have size i needed, so had to find out what daughter wants me to do, she says just return and get money back. Well there is the problem cause she lives out of town it was past 30 days so they will only do store credit and that is worthless when she lives 200 miles away. I guess i just threw away my money, contacted customer service and they wouldnt even respond. Shows how much they value my business

If you want to use a coupon, don't bother contacting customer service by email, NOONE WILL RESPOND. Their size charts are completely incorrect, I'm 32" waist & 48" hip, & their size 11 fits me fine in jeans, everything has stretch. My mistake in ordering size 14 was my fault. I used a coupon that I'll have to get by making a fake email account so I can get the correct sizes, because they can't honor the price, they said over the phone, for the exchange. Huge bummer, great to finally find some pants that fit my small waist & curvy butt, though. Their shipping took over 10 days from date of purchase, 4 days it took them to even send me the shipping confirmation. Just sad.
I am a usual customer of Rue 21 and never really had any problems until this. I normally do all my shopping in store but in this case I decided to do some online so I didn't have to drive 45-55 minutes to the store. I purchased jeans and shirts that equaled up to over 160 dollars and I was trying to use an online coupon that would have been close to 50 dollars off my entire purchase. Well, I paid and the next day I was going over it and I realized that the coupon did not work. So I called the company trying to get that money refunded back to me since it was a valid coupon and I talked with a lady that told me that the clearance items did not coincide with the coupon. However, online it did NOT clearly state this. I asked to speak to a supervisor because I was determined to get something done about this misleading coupon. I was told I could NOT speak to a supervisor, that there was not one available. Okay, I called later that day and I'm not sure what happened but I was hung up on. I called a third time, was told the same thing so I asked, again, to speak to a supervisor and this time, magically, I was able to. Well, he was, clearly, not trying to do anything to keep customers satisfied and I was basically told, "oh well."
This was extremely frustrating and disappointing to me and I honestly don't know that I will do any more shopping with Rue 21. I like the prices and I like the clothes, even though quality is poor, but this really makes me want to take my business elsewhere. Whatever I do, I will NEVER do anymore shopping online with this company.
Answer: Be careful. I ordered from them and never received. My items. Their response. So what. They never even looked into it. If they haven't charged you, call your bank and hold the money. They are horrible. Good luck.
Answer: Well I'm assuming it would take 1 business day. It'll prob take longer and they'll lie to you that it's on it's way when on the carrier website you can see it's not. Customer service is really bad in general but don't expect your stuff to arrive quickly even if u do 1 day shipping, it can arrive like weeks later
