I used to shop here all of the time until now. I returned a package and stuck the sticker on the package that was provided to me BY THE SELLER! 2 weeks went by and I had not been refunded yet so I contacted customer service. After I provided them with the tracking number, they said it shows it was delivered but it wasn't to their warehouse and refused to refund me. I don't understand how this is my problem when I USED THEIR RETURN LABEL. Crooks, I am out $85.

DONT BE FOOLED

I ordered items offline. When I paid the items were in stock. Magically after an hour or so I get an email stating that the some of the items are no longer in stock that I ordered. However when I looked online the website shows the items Rue 21 removed are still in stock! Rue 21 claimed to only have one of the items I purchased in stock which was less than the amount of shipping! I called customer service to cancel the rest of the order or provide me with a solution to not charge me for $7.95 shipping. Noone wants to pay $7.95 for one $5.00 item! The lady on customer service was NOT helpful and pretended that she would send me an email to "investigate" my claim! I should have known something was strange when I called the local Rue 21 and asked if the items were the same price in store as they were online. The lady in-store informed me that the items cost regular price in store and they were not doing a red tag sale. The in-store lady informed me that the only way I could receive the discount was to purchase the items online for that price. I wish I had just said screw it and not ordered from here! Now my account is missing funds and I can't dispute the charge until it no longer says "pending"! I have been shopping Rue 21 in-store for years with no problems but I will NEVER again shop online because it is just a big massive scam! Protect your funds and shop in store! I can't upload a photo because the items are no longer in stock!

I decided to order 10 things online at Rue21 and when I received my order a shirt was missing. I contacted support via phone, the call kept hanging up before I was even connected with someone. I decided to email them instead to let them know I was missing a shirt. A lady named Jennifer got back to me and asked me a bunch of questions about the packaging my items came in, and had me send her pictures of the packing label. I answered all her questions and sent her photos of the packing label like she wanted and I got a reply back the next day telling me they would refund me $13.05... the thing is, I used a non-reloadable visa gift card for my order/purchase so the refund won't even work AND the shirt I ordered AND paid for was $19.99, NOT $13.05. PLEASE do not even bother buying from the Rue21 site! They truly do not seem to care that they messed up my order by shorting me a shirt that I paid for in full. I know it was only $20.00... but it does not change the fact that they basically stole from me. I am attaching some photos of the conversation between Rue21 customer support and I, and a picture of the receipt for the shirt I did not receive but paid for. To sum everything up, if you like receiving missing items that you paid for with your hard earned money in the mail, definitely shop at Rue21 online! If you enjoy ACTUALLY receiving items you paid for, go else where... absolutely ridiculous.

Most of Rue 21's items are very low priced. However, they are pretty terrible quality. Most of the shirts I buy from there either get a lot of piling on them or get rips (or both).

My children and I had the worst experience at Rue 21 in Edinburgh, Indiana. The store employee was clearly being racist toward my children, as well as used her key to open the dressing room while my daughter was in there trying on clothes! All my life, I haven't had someone invade my privacy in this way. I reported the whole experience to the manager Amanda and she basically defended the lady's actions and didn't address it. Shrugged her shoulders like oh well. If you are black stay away from that store in particular because discrimination is encouraged. If that is the type of behavior promoted, you do not know what else those employees are capable of. Shop at another store. I've never wrote a bad review on a store before but I have to warn everyone else Of this type of treatment and this in particular store. Our experience was ruined for a moment that day. We shopped for 2 days.The other stores we went to and the outlet mall was very nice and the customer service was great. I'll say it again they encourage discrimination at rue 21 and the Edinburgh outlet mall. There's so many things that I didn't say in this message but just know that I wouldn't even write a review if it wasn't something crazy.

I spent over $1000. 00 in Rue 21, I had 6 Rue bucks that were expiring, I called customer service to see what can be done before they expired. I spoke to a representative named Janet who assured me that if they expired I could call them back to have the expired Rue bucks switched out. I called and spoke to a supervisor by the name of Nuria who stated that they could not switch out the Rue bucks, I advised her that if I knew that then, I would have just made a purchase. She stated that the rep that told me this would be coached but I could not switch out the rue bucks, I asked for her boss, she stated that she is the boss that runs the center, I asked for her corporate number, she said it's not for customers and refused to give it to me. Remind you that I have shopped in Several of there stores and was just about to make another $1000. 00 purchase on line before this. I will never step foot in Rue 21 or buy anything from them. It's not right that I was told this by a representative that they trained and I am a loyal customer. If I could give a 0 rating I would, I have already expressed this to my friends and family who are also loyal customer s, how I have been treated. They will never shop here again either.

Scam

I have been a frequent customer in stores and online for years but i will NEVER shop here again. I placed an order a month ago today and still have not gotten my money back. The website said everything i ordered was in stock 2 weeks later nothing had been shipped so i reached out to customer service email and phone SEVERAL times and heard nothing back. A week later they said everything was out of stock i ordered after i already paid for it and my order had been cancalled and they said it would take 7-10 business days to see the money go back into my account. Almost a week and a half later still nothing and all rue21 can say is it has to do with my bank when in reality rue21 is a scam. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM it is a big mess and not worth it.

I ordered two items. A pair a $5 pajama pants and a $24.99 throw. Which I ended up paying $40.60 for after shopping. When the package came in all is had was the $5 pants. Firsts time I called about the problem I got hung up on. The second time I called I was told to take pictures of the package and items I received and email them which made no since but I do anyway. Four days later I call back and speak to someone different who sent me an email with another email address and stated on the phone with me while I sent the pictures a second time. Both times told my email didn't come to them. After being on the phone for over an hour I finally get a supervisor whom I'm told is going to tell me the exact same thing. She tells me I will get my $24.99 back for my throw threw PayPal but it will take 15 days! Didn't take 15 days for Rue 21 to get my $40.60 but also I'm reaposible for then$7.95 it cost to send my $5.00 pair of pajama pants. So shipping cost more than the item. Here's the other kicker. The pajama pants came in the wrong size. I ordered all my Christmas online and cheap a** Rue 21 was the only one to screw something up and not willing to make things right. So if you call customer service and get Michelle, Megan, Jackie or Sue I can guarantee you there's no help coming your way. Go ahead and count your losses

I read the reviews before I I ordered but took the chance anyway I ordered 53$ worth of stuff on Christmas Day and I got it yesterday on the 4th of January ( 4 days processing) and then the rest was ups taking long to ship but it was only 10 days and they can only work business days anyway I had no problem ordering from them and I will probably order from then again

I ordered 7 business days ago... and couldn't track the order online. I asked them where it was. Here's the response: " The process to get the order is 7-12 business days. The Business Center is doing the inventory of the actual items we have to improve our service and give you the best. That is why we have a little of delay.

Once it ships you will get an email with the tracking number that you will be able to check at www.ups.com.

Thank you for being a part of the rue21 brand"

The ACTUAL items? I said I'd never shop here again, and tried to give it the benefit of the doubt one more time because they were so great until a few months ago, and I got burnt again. I've had 6 items cancelled within 24 hrs, and 2 days ago, one more item cancelled. It took 10 minutes to even pay for this order because "one or more of the items in my cart were no longer available "-- 1 at a time. So what I was charged for is still pending for the full amount on my account, 7 business days later, is what I should be getting. Not these emails of cancelled items, or crap like this.
Actual items. Bulls***!
