Never Again

This was my first, and last time, placing an order with Rue21. When I hit submit to place an order this morning, the website said they were experiencing some technical difficulties. So, I waited about an hour and made sure that I didn't have a confirmation email that my order went through. After not receiving a confirmation, I added all the items to my cart again and submitted my order. I noticed a few hours later that I received two emails at the exact same time with two different order numbers. I called the customer service line and a guy who can hardly speak English told me there wasn't anything they could do because I was suppose to call 30 minutes after the order is placed - that I didn't even know was placed, nice one Rue21. The only way to get my money back is to return it to a Rue21 store and I wouldn't be refunded shipping (I selected 2 day shipping at $20, so $40 for both orders). If it is still processing, why can't it be cancelled especially when it was a glitch with your system... I'm now spending $300 versus the $150 I planned. I wish I would have saw all the other reviews before purchasing. The stores are trash and I shouldn't have expected anything more online. When I called customer services, they were also have an 'unusually high call volume' - probably because the same thing happened to a lot of others.

I placed an online order and each time I call I'm told a different story. I first called because their site stated that I would receive an email when my order was placed and I NEVER received an email. I called and they said there must be a glitch in the system. I FINALLY got them to agree to manually send me the email. The email said a tracking number was included and it WASN'T. I checked the status of my order online and it's still processing. I call and the customer service reps are like robots. They are beyond useless and each time I call they keep telling me something different. I doubt my order will ever arrive. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that none were available because they were all gone to a meeting for 2 hours. Called right back and was able to speak to a supervisor. She wasn't helpful either. Just another trained robot.

Nice Quality!

The quality of the clothing is great. The ONLY thing that bothers me is that it seems like their looks NEVER change. Whether you're shopping during spring, fall, winter... it's the same zig zag type patterns on their skirts, the same chiffon type blouses with the one zipper on it in the front, the same tank tops, and the same shoes each season (with a few new ones that never are in your size).

The other reviews are being pretty unreasonable. Yes the shipping time is much more delayed than you would usually assume, but you get great quality clothing and there's always things in the sale part of the website. It's affordable and I love online shopping there. I know I can trust my stuff will be here, even though it may be a bit late, and my money will have been well spent.

Worst service ever!

PLaced an order online and have yet to receive it and here we are a month later. Rue21 won't refund money either since the post office hasn't officially claimed it lost. But the post office keeps posting the same update and it doesnt show its moving so there is clearly something wrong. Yet Rue21 just wants me to contact the postal service even though they are the one's who shipped my order not me! Poor customer service as they do not make any attempts to figure out what is going on with my package but are glad to keep my money!

I am so frustrated. The site was having a large sale so I ordered about $115 worth of clothes and accessories. Because of the coupon I had and the site sale, the price after tax was $82. During checkout, 10 minutes before the coupon and the sale expired, I was in checkout. The site crashed and said my cart was empty... on the last step of ordering! I contacted customer service, they said they will refund to give me my original price. This is kind, but they aren't very good at detail explaining and are in no sort of eagerness to sort this problem out. Last time I shop online. After this experience the site still crashes on me and constantly randomly removes item from my cart. I'll stick to in store shopping (however it's inconvient).

Favorite Store.

Everyone is so very nice and the prices are amazing! 90% of my clothes are from here. I always have the greatest shopping experience here. Shop here at least twice a week.

I had been ordering from Rue 21 for a while but they definitely lost me as a customer. I haven't purchased a thing from them since my customer service experience. The woman on the line was rude and wanted me to pay an extra 20 dollars to deliver to another address because they failed to deliver on time. It took an entire month to get my order when it was supposed to be 2 weeks. She also hung up on me.

WARNING DO NOT SHOP AT RUE 21 ONLINE! They are scamming people! I paid for some items from Rue 21 online not one but two times and both times, some of my items were canceled after paying for my order. I wasn't notified or even sent a email. It took like a week to finally get a tracking number the first time, and the second time I didn't even receive one. Then they decided to charge my card afterwards for $30 when I didn't even order anything and then had the nerve to tell me I was wrong ad that I received 2 packages when I only received 1. I will NEVER BUY ANYTHING FORM THEM AGAIN!

Not worth it!

Ordered March 16! Only 3 items! April 4th and still have not recieved anything! Just got an email that one of the only 3 items that I ordered is out of stock! How are they still in business! This is ridiculous! Save your time and money!

I love shopping at this store. But lately i have been seeing nothing but trendy straight leg and skinny jeans. The people that work in the Evansville I. N mall are always really nice and pleasant to costumers. But jeans are a big reason i go to this store to shop. So please bring back flare and bell bottom jeans so i can shop at my favorite store again.

We placed an order online, which arrived in a timely manner, BUT it had our address on the bag and someone ELSE'S order inside. I tried calling and sat on hold for over 10-15 minutes while a recording kept coming on saying my "estimated wait time is more than 2 minutes" and then "more than 5 minutes" and now its "more than 10 minutes". I wrote to their email and was told to call. I am sitting on hold AGAIN and it's going on over 20 minutes. This is terrible customer service! I work for a call center and if we had customers holding for these extended periods of time, we'd be out of business. I am never ordering from this place again! Oh, and not to mention the frenetic classical piano song playing over and over and over. Yes, ONE song. Wow.

I was invisible!?

Not one time was I greeted, or asked for assistance? Had $500.00 to spend but because I was looking poor and colored the 4 women behind the counter at Northwoods Mall in North Charleston totally ignored me! Even at check out the girl never said anything but how much I owed. They were all standing behind the counter on cell phones or chatting away. I will never walk into Rue 21 again! Don't judge a book by the cover!

Upon entering I was not greeted, and when ready to make my way to the dressing room... I had to hunt someone down to open it for me. Then when it came time to make my purchase, I told the lady I was ready and she acted like I was inconveniencing HER because I pulled her away from folding shirts for two minutes. And while she was ringing me up she literally did not say one word to me.

Scam

I have been a frequent customer in stores and online for years but i will NEVER shop here again. I placed an order a month ago today and still have not gotten my money back. The website said everything i ordered was in stock 2 weeks later nothing had been shipped so i reached out to customer service email and phone SEVERAL times and heard nothing back. A week later they said everything was out of stock i ordered after i already paid for it and my order had been cancalled and they said it would take 7-10 business days to see the money go back into my account. Almost a week and a half later still nothing and all rue21 can say is it has to do with my bank when in reality rue21 is a scam. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM it is a big mess and not worth it.

This site is absolute garbage! Never order from here. I ordered many items. Took almost 4 days just to get a tracking number. Then, I'm told that one of the items is out of stock after having already paid for it. Had to email and call customer service just to get a refund... which I was told could take up to 30 days. Then, two days later... the day before my package is supposed to arrive, I get an email that everything is being returned (I didn't return $#*!) so once again, I had to call customer service and be on hold for 15 minutes, just to be told that they have no clue what happened. So now, I have to wait until tomorrow and hope it gets delivered and if not, I have to call back AGAIN and start the process of trying to get a refund. I am pissed. This website is an absolute scam. I will never order from this site again and I will be sure to tell everyone I know the same thing.

So slow

I prefer to only shop online. Never again will I ever shop at Rue 21. The slowest shipping in the history of online shopping. I felt like I was on eBay purchasing something from China. I rather shop at Charlotte russe it's so much faster then Rue 21 and I thought that was kinda slow.

Never again! By the time you get it your merchandise, it will be out of style.
Customer service was no help! Don't even bother wasting your time calling them.
