So I know most reviews are bashing this company, DONT LISTEN TO IT for the most part. It's a cheap store so realistically you can't expect the greatest material on earth, especially if you get the clearance stuff if we're being honest. The store like most things, the newer or more expensive it is chances are the item is in stock and it's a better quality. When I received my order i noticed a few strings but nothing that would create holes in the shirt. I didn't get much cause I read the reviews and was scared.

But My order took less than a day to be accepted and reviewed. Shortly, I had regular shipping to my home (7-10 days) and it came in 4 days! Given I only live about 9 hours away from the manufacturer. I guess the reliability of the product depends on what you get and where you are.

I have no problems with this site expect watch out, not everything is exactly was it seems and the quality isn't perfect. Just know the difference and don't expect a. 99 cents tshirt will be the best material or instock.

I placed an order last night of $100+, then got an email after saying items were out of stock so my entire order had to be canceled. The email stated I would not be charged, but my credit card definitely was. Customer service sucks and I have yet to get my money back. Also, from past experiences it's definitely not worth it, the clothes quality really do suck and are cheaply made. Horrible company, never shopping here again!

Don't shop online...

First, I bought 3 items and the order started to process, probably about an hour later I get a email saying that it was canceled because the items were out of stock, but it's not telling me which items were out of stock so I assume that all of them are. The email said I wouldn't be charged since they were out of stock but I called my Visa card service anyway just to check and low and behold they did charge me... so your telling me you can make an email saying my items are out of stock but you can't not charge me for something that was canceled anyway. Now I have to call customer service tommrow since it's too late and I'm not looking forward to it after reading reviews.

I spent over $1000. 00 in Rue 21, I had 6 Rue bucks that were expiring, I called customer service to see what can be done before they expired. I spoke to a representative named Janet who assured me that if they expired I could call them back to have the expired Rue bucks switched out. I called and spoke to a supervisor by the name of Nuria who stated that they could not switch out the Rue bucks, I advised her that if I knew that then, I would have just made a purchase. She stated that the rep that told me this would be coached but I could not switch out the rue bucks, I asked for her boss, she stated that she is the boss that runs the center, I asked for her corporate number, she said it's not for customers and refused to give it to me. Remind you that I have shopped in Several of there stores and was just about to make another $1000. 00 purchase on line before this. I will never step foot in Rue 21 or buy anything from them. It's not right that I was told this by a representative that they trained and I am a loyal customer. If I could give a 0 rating I would, I have already expressed this to my friends and family who are also loyal customer s, how I have been treated. They will never shop here again either.

First time buyer. Beware the clothes are crap and if you have to return any items you have to pay out of your own pocket since I don't live near a rue21 store. The amount I paid to return was half of the amount I paid in total! Im sorry I didn't check out the reviews before my daughter ordered these clothes at Rue21. I hope they go under because karma will bite them in the butt. They should not even be able to sell clothes because of the sneaky tactics about the quality of their clothes and the worst customer service where i believe its outsources overseas somewhere because I could not understand him and if I did get what he was saying I still was confused... Please do not buy anything from this store. All the recent reviews are true! Do not waste your money.The company does not care about you they just want your money and once they get it the customer is left out in the cold.

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS RUE21 SITE! BIG SCAM.

I used to shop here all of the time until now. I returned a package and stuck the sticker on the package that was provided to me BY THE SELLER! 2 weeks went by and I had not been refunded yet so I contacted customer service. After I provided them with the tracking number, they said it shows it was delivered but it wasn't to their warehouse and refused to refund me. I don't understand how this is my problem when I USED THEIR RETURN LABEL. Crooks, I am out $85.

So this all started around Christmas. My Aunt had gotten me a gift card from there with some of my cousins who witnessed her put money on the card. It had been around a month since she had gotten it for me and I had decided to use it on some shoes and a few face masks online. I went to check the balance and it said there was NOTHING on the card. We didnt even scratch off the numbers on the back till that day so there was no way anyone used it. We looked at the card history and it said it was used in March of 2016! How does that even happen. After that I went ahead and just paid for my order with my own money. It said it'd take 2 weeks to ship. IT TOOK A MONTH.

Flash forward to now. I buy over 120 dollars worth of merchandise online using a code that the website said would give me 40 dollars off of my order, i entered the code and waited till it said that it had accepted the code. IT DID NOT. So i tried to cancel the order but you cant if you choose an overnight shipping option which is frankly annoying. The customer service is also horrible. I tried calling at 1pm central time and it said that they cant take calls unless its from 6am-8pm which doesnt make any sense sense their offices are based in New York.

Moral of the story is do not shop online at rue 21 unless you want to risk wasting your time and money.

Worst Store Ever

Omg I was so excited when I first found this store because it had really cute clothes for cheap, and my order just came in today (timing was pretty good it took exactly one week for my order to arrive) I was so excited and I opened it up and what I got was complete CRAP! The clothes were so poor quality, seams were crooked on my leggings, both tops I ordered had loose threads everywhere, two sweaters I ordered were both way too wide (I think they may have given me plus sizes by mistake that's how wide they are it's a small and it's got the width of a large) I'm so frustrated. I also ordered a pair of earrings with fake pearls on them I didn't expect them to be that great because it's not real gold or real pearls but they were way bigger than they were in the picture online and more than half the pearls had fallen off the earrings (I didn't even touch the earrings or open the little bag they were in yet the beads were just laying all over the bottom of the bag!) what a disgrace this place is I want my freaking money back.

First off, they put out of stock items to be presumably for sale. Then when processing your order, which then takes about 4 days, take the item out of your order and don't charge you back what you were gonna pay for. JUST A SCAM! DON'T BUY NOT WORTH YOUR TIME OR EFFORTS. JUST GO TO HM, FOREVER 21, PACSUN.

Ok so I went to a rue store on July 27th 2017 and I had a coupon for $60 off $100. So my kids of course are looking around shopping and I had 2 coupons to do 2 desperate transctions. So we go up with the first one and she gets to $90 so I told her to go get another shirt. Now mind you this is before I had her the coupon. So the total was 108 and I gave it to her and her exact words were we don't take these coupons. Like excuse me u just gave it to me a few days ago but conviently u don't take. And on top of that refused to let me use the coupon with my second purchase not ever 3 min later tells me you can only use 1 coupon per visit. I spent over $350 dollars there and never was offered rue bucks wouldn't take my coupons so why even shop there anymore? I'd rather pay more and go elsewhere then to get screwed over by some 16 year old who couldn't even put in an email address correct.

Sure, the clothes are cute. But if you ever order anything online, shipping and customer service is a NIGHTMARE. I'm sure the customer service number is fake because 1) No one answers it, ever, and 2) it's the same phone number listed for the actual boutique in New York. I paid for express shipping and my package was sent to a completely wrong state to a Vegas post office "awaiting pickup", when my address and everything else were correct when I placed the order.

The rep responded to email one time claiming that their website was incorrect, and that I should just follow the USPS tracking, completely disregarding what I said. The USPS tracking was what told me the package had arrived in Nevada. After that, they never responded again. But I was definitely charged for the items and now I'm not sure I'll be getting a refund for the items I never received. Convenient.

I will NEVER shop with this company and I am extremely disappointed at the lack of customer service.

OMG! The worst service you could possibly get. First from the store associates who are children and have no customer service interpersonal skills of what so ever! Next from the corporate headquarter managers, who could care less about you or your order since they obviously are making way to much money and don't need new ones. I will not be ordering from this retailer again. And I would recommend getting your merchandise from somewhere else where your treated with respect and valued as a customer..

I have spent over $90 in stores while on a trip to Vegas and it was good. I earned $40 in rue bucks that I could redeem online or in store, great. I went online because living in Hawaii, there is no store I could go to. I soon figured out that in order to redeem my $40 my purchase had to be $80 or more. Okay so I proceeded to make a purchase over $80 and I even went over $90 because there is a $50 minimum for free shipping. Little did I realize that they do not even ship to Hawaii or Alaska and so there is no way for me to redeem my rue bucks which expire in 3 days. Customer service was not helpful because of the time difference and after reading the other reviews about missing items and scams I think I am just gonna let the rue bucks expire because it is not even worth it.
