Very poor customer service. It has been 8 days since arrival to my city but it has not arrived (no one knows where it is) and Personal Creations has nothing to do about it, They told me to wait another 3 days. They will also not let me cancel my order, to give me a chance to order from another place. Who is going to need Christmas 2022 ornaments after Christmas 2022? I understand that troubles with shipping is beyond their control, but there are so many ways to make it a better experience for your customers (like letting them cancel!).
Never again so pissed off! Merchandise was cheap, ordered an Easter basket in large size, what I got was two small boxes of candy and a cheap dollar stuffed bunny the size of a pencil, outrageous shipping fees which they charged after the order was placed! Don't order from this rip off company
I wish I had read the reviews here before buying from this business, their delivery promises are a joke and their customer service even worse. Having chased delivery on the day after it was promised to arrive I was told it "may take another 5 days", what's the point of giving a date if you can't keep to it. To make matters worse their so called delivery partner now shows as "Delivered" when no-one has been anywhere near my house and surprise surprise Personal Creations have now taken the "not our problem" attitude. SHOCKING!
I won't use again and urge you to avoid at all costs.
Ordered a book for my grandson for Christmas on Nov. 29. Scheduled delivery was Dec.9. Contacted company on Dec.15, they had no clue where the order was. Reordered on Dec. 15, and best they could do is delivery sometime after first of year.
I ordered a personalized doormat for my home. The price was high, but the photos showed a high quality product, indicated durability and I was very excited when it arrived. Until I opened it. The rubber mat is decent, a high quality dollar-store quality at best. The personalization was on a separate piece of rubbish felt. It won't last a day as an entry mat. Don't waste your money!
Placed my order, picked 2 day shipping for an additional fee. Later checked my bank account to find it was charges twice. Contacted them and showed them a screen shot of the double payment and was told it
I ordered my coasters well in advance of Christmas and received the wrong order (cute family, but not mine). When I called to ask for a replacement, they said it could take more than three weeks to receive the new order. They could not send a confirmation of a refund. I sat on hold for two hours just to speak to a customer service agent. Their live chat "isn't available." If you email them, their response is "This email may have went into our spam folder. Please resend your email in a few days if we do not respond."
Ordered a graduation gift on May 13. Order said would be delivered by May 28 which would of been great because graduation was May 29. It is now June 12 and still nothing. I understand everything is delayed due to Covid but since the company is in Illinois and so am I this is way to Long. The bigger issue is they do not answer phones or return emails. Live chat also no response. Have tried everyday for 3 weeks and no response. Not even sure if they are still in business. What a way to make a graduation special. If they are not operating they should not take orders and at least be honest instead of ignoring customers.

Went to purchase some gifts from "Personal Creations" but was deeply disappointed in their choice of "religious gifts" as it only pertained to those who wanted "Crosses" and was very limited in choices. I wanted to purchase a gift for someone of the Jewish faith for a bar/bat mitzvah and was extremely disappointed to see that they did not offer (not even one) thing!
This is the last time i will ever go to this site. Not everyone practices Catholicism or Christianity and may one to personalize a religious item. It seems quite bias (not mention closed minded) in terms of their sales offerings.
Many different items that can be personalized -- wedding gifts, baby gifts, kid's gifts, grandparent ideas, home items, etc. Lots of stuff.
I have used this site for years and have been very happy with the quality of items. A recent wedding gift (wall plaque with bride name, groom name, & wedding date) arrived and I was happily surprised at how big it was and that it was glassed and framed! Bride loved it and asked where we had it made as she wanted to make one for her sister!
We have also made aprons with embroidery personalization, platters, and stuffed animal ornaments with names. Would recommend easily.
Look around for online coupons -- there is almost always a current one to be found somewhere!
I've used this company for years. The personalized nature of the products means longer shipping. I ordered 3 weeks before Christmas. It was promised the week of 12-9-20. They kept saying "it's on its way!" But there still isn't a scan on the tracking (it took a week of requesting the # to finally get one). It won't be here by Christmas. This is not a delivery issue. It has not even gotten TO the delivering agency (USPS) yet. I think I'm being scammed.
I ordered a gift for my wife for our anniversary and gave them the opportunity to deliver within 6 weeks, it never arrived and when I carried out live chat the girl was rude and stated that it was not her problem and that it was the delivery company ( despite me parting with £133) she then stopped the chat, I have tried again and this time told to direct my complaint to whistl the delivery company who fobbed me off with they cannot discuss due to data protection? I went back to personal creations who apologised, I find this a disgrace and advise anyone to avoid this company as they have spoilt our special day
I order a memorial bench on 9/11 with a delivery date of 10/15. Called today, 10/13 to make sure it shipped; it was a give for my son's 7 year old daughter who passed away. Only to be told the vendor canceled the order. So now, the bench they were expecting, is not going to show up! If I hadn't called, I'm not sure they would have every contacted me. I'd be out my $232.
I ordered a wine barrel clock for my wife for our anniversary. I received the clock after our anniversary, and the engraving on the clock is crooked. It isn't presentable and should not have been shipped. I've written the company three separate emails in ten days and have yet to receive a response. I included photos documenting the issue and my phone number as contact information. I called customer service this morning and was on hold for 1 hour and 41 minutes. No one ever picked up. I emailed again, and no response. It's disappointing that a company would collect $106 from me, ship me a clearly unpresentable product, and then ignore my concerns. I will send it back and hope for a refund. Lesson learned.
I was so excited when my daughters purple unicorn backpack arrived. Everything looked great and the quality seems good. Then I noticed one of the zippers were broken. I emailed the customer service with a picture of the broken piece and the next day I received an email with an updated shipping arrival date. Great customer service! The back pack itself is very cute, exactly as pictured! Very happy customer
Every year we have bought personalized ornaments for the family. This year we used Personal Creations and for the first time we have NO ornaments for the family tree. In the future I will used a company I can depend on. My problem now is finding a company that can still do Christmas ornaments so we will have them for next year.
I received the Fall 2022 catalog about a month ago and wanted to order a certain item. When I went on the website to order it, the item was increased from $31.99 to $49.99. I called customer service and they would not honor the price from the fall catalog. They told me that the new catalog was out and the prices have changed even though there is no expiration on the fall catalog for ordering any items in the catalog. Also, beware that they do add on the shipping cost at the end which you don't know about until you go to check out. Needless to say I will not be ordering from this company anymore. There are many more companies to order from. Etsy is a remarkable company to order from and customer service is very helpful.
Personal Creations offered me a 40% discount and then when I went to pay, there was no way to apply the discount. The customer service rep did not believe me and was no help.
I am giving them one star because of the delivery fee AND care fee, neither of which are disclosed until you finalize your order. I ordered one item and paid 50% more for them to ship it and care for it. You also get a pop up trying to get you to join a program to get their fees reduced. I would recommend going elsewhere if you can find the item you want there.
