I have two orders I haven't received yet! One said it was delivered in May and another that I guess haven't shipped yet! They don't answer the phones and don't respond to emails! I'm writing this review as I'm on hold... been on hold for an hour and a half! I love their clothes, but I'm gonna have to stop shopping here!
I had an item that I purchased as a Christmas gift for my disabled sister. It was too big. I bought it in December 2022. I went to exchange it in a store in Huntsville AL. I was told it was outside the return window. There was nothing they would do. So then I assumed with such a strict return policy that they would have some type of donation plan set up. Nope. As a large company I would expect them to donate items like this to local charities.
This item was 3 days over the 30 day window.
I have deleted their app and will no longer shop there.
In this day and age with everything being so expensive, people being homeless and so much needed in our world. Big corporations, such as the Gap should be taking this seriously. Maybe set up some type of charitable contribution for returned items? I will shop at more responsible retailers in the future.
I place many orders with old navy. I purchased a larger order and had 2 pair of pants that didn't fit my son. I purchased on 9/30/22 and tried returning 10/31/22. Did not receive my order for a week after purchase and they said they could not return items because it had been past the 30 days. I had the item in my possession for only three weeks which is less than 30 days. My reason for not being able to return them sooner was because my entire family had gotten sick and I havent been able to get out. Really disappointed in their service and willing to help customers. I will not support businesses who aren't willing to give good customer service
What I really like about this site is that unlike their stores, their site carries large sized items. Not many, but they are there. Sometimes I visit the site and find nothing; other times I fill my shopping cart in no time.
Their prices aren't too bad, except for their jeans. I manage to leave a happy camper when I shop on this site.
They shipped me three items. I received one of three and they attempted to make me pay an extra $20 for shipping while THEY made crucial mistakes on THEIR end by not reviewing what happened to the package. Any other company re ships as professionals. NEVER shopping here again this is disgusting. Support didn't help either. Money hungry scamming bastards.
These aren't high quality items but the sale prices are really incredible. I've bought a pair of leggings here for 2$ that are super comfy, wash well and look really great! Great for those new items you want to add to your closet without paying too much.
30 days DOES NOT allow enough time to receive order, try on, make a decision...to keep or not to keep (especially if you are out of town when the order was received!) and then return if not satisfied or happy with purchase any items! I have just spent 30+ minutes chatting with customer service. NO HELP! I asked that I could speak to a manager but employee said the manager would not be able to help anymore than he did. I have shopped with Old Navy for more than 25 years and 4 items, 4 items!... that are brand new, with tags, unworn, that I didn't like the way they fit will never be worn. I have spent thousands of dollars and I don't know if I'll be back, I can't believe they won't make a customer happy, I'm only asking for a simple return, exchange, store credit, something to resolve the situation. Sad!
I am a loyal old navy customer, I mean hundreds of dollars a year. Well, I go to make a return and was denied, I used 3 different ID's and they were all denied. They won't even give you store credit! So, I had to call the 3rd party company who kept denying my return and I have to have a receipt (lost it) so now I'm stuck with $115 of clothes that don't fit. I will not be shopping at my favorite store again. Buyer beware!
Be aware that it takes 10 business days after they recieve your return! Why so long after they recieved the return, no one can provide an answer to that question. The length of time is stupid ridiculous since from time you send it back, they recieve the return and refund actually takes 20 days or more! If you don't mind waiting about a month for your money back then order away! Personally, I won't order online from them ever again!
I try to return the online item but they refuse to send me a label to return it because I can't remember the billing address from my Apple Pay.
I just want. A refund rebel and sent it back to the store then money goes back to the original card. Who creates a stupid policy like this?
They didn't send any receipts in the bag to reduce the cost too. How difference between sending the clothing bag by mail and returning it to the store without the detail about the billing address? I will not buy anything from your company again all my life cheap cloth and a stupid policy
Great clothes and good deals! I have so many clothes from Old Navy. They are reasonably priced and last! I have tons of classic pieces from here as well as some more "trendy" items (think patterned tapered pants... buyers remorse!).
I made a return. It didn't go through the first time (debit) so I did it again and it worked. When I checked my bank app I saw they gave me the return but took another purchase in the exact same amount as the return. They wouldn't correct it. Said it takes 10 days for the bank to process this transaction, even though they could clearly see the return and new charge had already gone through. They stole from me. The so called managers are children. I'll make sure to spread the word on this one! $#*!ing thieves.
Pros:
-price of clothing very reasonably priced
-amazing sales
-great shipping rates
-give you free shipping label for free returns
-good selection. Even tall and big
Cons:
-some clothing can be made cheap. But for price still a good deal.
Old Navy switched to Barclay, who are the worst. They used contact info from an old accnt, that was closed for 15+ yrs, that email has been corrupted and sold on the Black Market, instead of the contact info they were provided for this account. It destroyed my credit score for $60, a waste of 15 years of hard work. No way to get help from Old Navy to fix this. They just send you to Barclay, the problem.
They have lost a life long customer and have put me in danger of identity theft. AVOID.
Old navy offers fashionable clothes at affordable prices. My complaint is that sizing always seems off and I tend to need a full size smaller than I wear at other retailers. However a pair of jeans may fit in as size 12, but then in khakis I may be a 16, makes it hard to order. Old navy does offer free returns so I can't be too upset, just wish clothes were true to size and consistent.
I have not bought anything in years at old navy and I finally buy something online and they mail it to me (a $20 sweatshirt) with the anti theft tag still on it.
My other items I ordered took another week to get to.me with no email or response stating that my order will be shipped on different days.
Cust service told me I could take the sweatshirt back to.the store and have them take the anto their device off. I live an hour from an old navy so that is not going to happen. They finally said they would give me a credit on my card since i cant use the sweatshirt but it is on day 8 and I have never seen any store that takes up to 10 days to refund your purchase back on your credit card.
I wont shop here again
I have been a long time customer of Old Navy, but today is my last contact of any kind with this company. I live far away from any of the stores, so I shop online. My last shipment came with a plastic security tag attached to my blouse. Needless to say, I cannot wear it, I also cannot go to the store to return it, so it leaves me the option of mailing it back to the company at my own cost, paying for their mistake. I also had a couple of things saved in my basket to purchase. They were sitting there for whole 15 minutes and when I went to buy them, one of them was gone, saying that it is no longer available. The company just took it out of my basket and sold it to someone else! I understand that they can't keep it there for long but I think that 15 minutes should be allowed to go and get my wallet out of my purse. Very poorly run and no appreciation for customers. Just lost a good customer.
I love shopping at Old Navy specially if its a holiday sale coz Im getting a lot of good clothes and the price are really cheap but the quality is really good. Online or In store that how I do my shopping and I got no problems. Would be shopping some more and I always recommend it to my friends.
I reside outside the US, so I tend to use the OldNavy website far more.
About 7 years ago, OldNavy inflated a lot of their prices. Items that are comparably the same quality you find at JCPenny's, K-Mart and Faded Glory at Wal-Mart for $20 max are at the OldNavy site for $30-40. However, OldNavy provides sales and coupons that drop their goods to $20/ $25. Thus, not really a sale.
Recently I travel to the US and visited an OldNavy. Their flip-flops have always been the best deal for $2. I managed to catch a glimpse of their clearance and found a top that was priced at $7.99 from $19.99.
Wow a great deal, right?! No it gets better, the cashier scanned the item 3 times just to make sure of the price; it had dropped to $0.47! Less than a Soda/ pack of gum/ bookmark!
I'm not sure I would use the online site as often since the real clearance is in the store. It still is a shame that their plus size is only online, so I can't shop for everyone.
I thought you were a pretty good company until I saw the commercials where you can don't badly have your outta children children. It should not give the children impression that only the bad makes mKes history. I think our children have enough bad examples in their lives without having commercials telling them being bad is good I have talked to other parents and grandparents who have seen this commercial and they are not happy either a lot of them are going to cancel their orders for your product maybe maybe you will see that parents and grandparents are not gonna put up with other outside influence on their children to make them A bad child
Answer: I have never had an issue but I make sure to call when it's not peak hours. I call in the evening after dinner time. Never call on a Monday morning.
Answer: Clear your browsers cache and cookies. Something you should do everyday anyways. You can sign up for emails without having an account but if you think you do just do a simple forgot password on the sign in page. I prefer ordering online bc they have online only specials. You can also chat with an agent. If you call make sure it's not peak hours and you'll have no issues getting a person.
Answer: It may have gone to your junk folder. If you do the shopping without signing in or as a guest then you don't get confirmation email. Always take a snapshot when you place your order or call them. It happened to me twice. Now I always make sure I am signed in before placing order online. Hope this helps.
