I made an order of over £500. I haven't received half of the things i paid for and those ones i got were sent in duplicates. Hardly any way to contact them to make a complaint. DO NOT SHOP WITH UNIQLO. The WORST experience EVER
I ordered from Uniqlo online store and assumed that I'll be able to return the items if I don't like it. When trying to return through mail they charge 7$. I then tried to return it in store and they said they don't accept the returns if purchased online. Worst experience, would never buy online from Uniqlo again.
I will never shop there again.
But if you are looking for cheap clothing without any customer service and an expensive return policy, Uniqlo is your place.
I purchased 3 shirts that were too small. The return policy was confusing but it said I could exchange but not return at a store. One of the shirts was defective also - it has white marks on it. I took them to the store with the original packaging which includes a URL code and price. Tried on next size up which fit and went to the register. They would not EXCHANGE these items without an email or invoice which I did not have. The manager did not seem to believe the one shirt had arrived damaged and was not particularly friendly. He gave me the customer service # to call and they said it is at the store's discretion. So after spending over an hour to get there and go through all that and get home I spent quite a while with a customer service rep on the phone who actually was helpful though she had to keep putting me on hold to ask her supervisor questions. She found my order in their system. The upshot, I can not exchange them I have to just return them, I had to sent her photos of all the packages and the defective shirt, and go through all the aggravation now of packing them all up to send and taking them to the post office. I liked the shirts but they just lost my on line business and I likely will not return to that store either, I could not believe how hard this was and is and that the manager did not accept that I had not worn that defective shirt. I like their products but I am through with them.
I had a hard time placing my order online. I Called customer service and she was impolite cutting me off when I was trying to explain myself saying she could not help me anyway with my issue. And I asked how many customer service agents they have in Canada I called several times and she said only her. It would be nice if Uniqlo's product was as good as customer service. So disappointed.
Buy online no in store return. You ship back the item you bought and charge you $7.00 and takes a long time to get your refund. Worst exchange and return policy. Money hunger
Quality is unimpressive and ridiculous return policy. I returned an item within 30 days as policy but because I'd exchanged it once before (picked up wrong size the first time) they only gave me a store credit. I won't shop there again.if I'd know I would have gone to a retailer that has a normal return policy. Not customer friendly! Beware - the won't tell you this and you have to hunt in the small print
In this day and age of fast tech Uniqlo is sadly slacking. I refer to their offer of a "welcome £10 voucher" for new customers. Straightforward one would assume especially as many outlets do the same and the "welcome coupon" appears instantly at the online checkout.
Not the case with Uniqlo. The advice is that the voucher takes 24hrs to arrive in our email! Not terribly helpful when you have a basketful of goodies! Oh and there are no guarantees that your voucher will appear at all.
So contacted "helpbott" - an hour later and having been cut off from a "live agent" no further forward and advised wait for 48hrs! Phew Uniqlo really does want me to have a "fast retailing" experience ….to please and satisfy customers (me).
Sooo I would like to thank Uniqlo because I have in fact saved myself £450! How, yep emptied my basket.
I wish more retailers were the same; I could save my self a fortune
No clear disclaimer that you can only exchange items once. If I would have known that I would have just returned this garbage and tried again
I bought a sweater in one of there stores in NJ. I would like to return it in NY stores but they said I can't. They told me I had to go back to the original store. They never informed me when I bought the merchandise. They told me it was on the receipt. I don't like their policy. I wouldn't come back or buy anything from them until they change their policy. It is not convenient
I ordered some trousers from their website. Their description indicated that they would fit me but they turned out to be much too small. I checked their return instructions and i realized exchanging these was not going to work out, as complying with their policies was going to cost me a lot of frustration and they probably didn't even have my size. After checking reviews of the company online I realized that getting satisfaction would be impossible so I dropped the trousers off at my local Good Will recycle store.
I'm out $62 and I will never buy anything from Uniqlo again. Lesson learned.
Don't ever buy online from Uniqlo, you cannot return them to the store, and there is a fee to send it back, just buy it from the store or don't buy it at all!
The prices are more expensive than average a tee shirt cost a lot more and it does not have a lot of options there. It was simply the same design but different colour.
Returning merchandise is impossible, whether to store or warehouse. Never once did the individual I talked to even talk about a credit. Not sure they even have such. But if you order online, consider it a no return purchase with no exceptions or concern about any of the details. Poor customer service culture within the company. Please spend your money elsewhere.
Didn't get the jacket, they don't care, sent me to talk to shipping company, Ontrac, even worst than uniqlo. Bad bad experience
We purchased an item from our trip out of state & tried to return it to our own state store but we were told to return it to the store we purchased it from.
Exchange with the same item was the only unreasonable option.
Just buying using a credit card is impossible! Requires registration and personal data, delivery takes 7+ days and costs $17
The system is not user-friendly. It is not easy to make an online purchase in store. Staff doesn't know the system and they sent you from one customer service to another. The worst store the worst customer service in the system. Everything is polyester and not too many natural fabric is out there. Never again
I used to shop a lot at Uniqlo online store until they changed their return policy. Now if you are buying from online store you won't be able to return/exchange at physical store and you will have to pay return fee 7$. The customer service in Uniqlo Manhattan store is rude and disrespectful to their customers. I stopped buying at Uniqlo, there are many other brands that value their customers.
I have shopped at uniglo for years. Recently my husband bought a jacket on line. He wore it one time and when he took it off he saw there were cuts in the outside back of the jacket and the material was poking out. He called Uniglo. The asked him to send them pictures I did. They responded with because he wore it (one time and then this quality issue became apparent) they offered me a $10 coupon! They said because he wore it it could not be returned. I was very upset with this answer. I wrote back (the email said to respond if I wished) and told them he was a LONG time customer and if this was their customer service method they would loose us.
I have NEVER heard back again. Buy at you worn risk! If we lied and said it was delivered this way we would have had a full refund, but we don't lie. Clearly this was a case of manufacturer error. The inside was coming out, not on the seam, but in the middle of the jacket! I had to click the stars in order to send this review, which is why there is even 1 star.
Answer: Legit company that behaves like scam artists-see review about returning Airism camisoles, for item they themselves called defective, wouldn't refund return shipping until requested 5 separate times, even after agreeing to do so, and still fighting me about refunding original shipping charges
Answer: Extremely hard — your can reach them by chat and they refuse to call you when you ask them to (they say they cannot do it, which seems dubious to say the least)— really not a helpful customer service.
