Uniqlo -
June 1, 2022

Awful! Really bad experience with Uniqlo North Point Hong Kong. Customer loyalty does not exist in this company. It just didn't want to know about the problem. Uniqlo adjusted the size and fit of a particular style without changing the measurements shown on the label. It did absolutely nothing to inform customers that the product had changed even though the general description of the product was the same. I bought 4 items, thinking they were the same as those I'd bought previously, but they no longer fitted properly. I was refused an exchange, or a refund, or any help whatsoever even though Uniqlo was clearly at fault. Good service requires proper treatment of customers and accepting fault when appropriate! My experience with Uniqlo was the worst that I've ever experienced worldwide. Giving the sales staff constructive feedback about the problem made absolutely no difference. The sales manager "Andrea" was worse than a parrot and just wouldn't listen! Once Uniqlo has your money it is not interested in providing after-sales service. If the style stays the same, customers must be told if there has been a slight change in size. Very unfair treatment by Uniqlo and it should be ashamed of itself. Absolutely dreadful - no respect for its customers! Wouldn't happen in other major branded shops in Europe, UK, Australia or America. Uniqlo definitely has the worst after-sales service of any major retailer that I've ever experienced!

How can anyone run a business without the ability to cancel fraudulent charges? I've never heard of this company and some twat got my card # and used it at this sweatshop-run clothing store. Contacted bank and got that ball rolling but this pitiful excuse for a company won't even attempt to cancel the order even though it is verified fraud.

AVOID THIS COMPANY EVEN IF YOU LIKE THEIR STUPID CLOTHING. Businesses like this have no reason to exist so stop giving them your money.

Would give 0 stars if I could. I ordered two Airism camisoles. They smelled like ammonia! I tried airing them out, but couldn't. They were made of bemberg silk, so apparently, ammonium is part of the manufacture process. Customer service said that "they were defective", didn't suggest any remedy, and I returned. They then refused to fully refund the shipment, after promising in writing to refund the return shipping, too, so I had to email multiple times to get that back. Then, I had to file a PayPal dispute to get the last $4.63 back (the shipping to me) and PayPal decided the case in my favor, then closed the dispute, preventing any uploading of documents, then reversed itself because documents were not uploaded, and took my cash (charges were all by credit card) out of my account. Now I have to spend even more time fixing this. PayPal's not doing good service either, obviously. Wish I had never bought anything from Uniqlo and will never buy anything again.

The items we ordered were great quality. The sizes on both items ran smaller than the chart suggestions. Had to return for a larger size; however, customer service was very helpful.

I would give this company a 0 star if I can. It is the worst company I have ever shopped with both on the logistics side and customer service side. This company is a SCAM! So I ordered a few pair of pants with alterations online (was stated as free on the website) back in September 2019. They ended up charging me for the alternation and I had to call in and request a refund. Then they ended up sending the package to a wrong location, so I had call in again to track where it went. It took them 1 WEEK to get it sorted out. So instead of waiting 3 weeks (which is already long), I had to wait another week for their mistake. A couple pants didn't fit right, so I returned them in November 2019. I got an email in mid-December 2019 that the pants have been received and refunded. I never got the refund. I ended up calling customer service to figure out what the issue is. They had stated that it was a system issue they had and it would get resolved in a couple weeks. Come mid-January 2020, I still didn't get my refund. I called customer service again, and they gave me the same answer, to wait a couple weeks as they're still trying to resolve it. This same cycle goes on for another month. As of today, end of February 2020, I have not received my refund and I don't think I'll ever see it. It's already too late to do a charge back since it's pass 120 days. I will never shop at Uniqlo again! Horrible company.

.. IT MIGHT BE THE ONLY WAY TO GET THEIR ATTENTION. YOU CAN GOOGLE THE UNIQLO CORPORATE OFFICE ADDRESS ON LINE. THEY ARE LOCATED IN NY. THATS WHAT I DID.

IT MIGHT BE THE ONLY WAY TO STOP THESE SCAMMERS/ FRAUDSTERS KNOWN AS UNIQLO.COM.

PATHETIC

Siloed services
December 17, 2018

I ordered 5 items online that were the incorrect size. So, I called the customer service, which underestimates the wait time on the phone. I asked how I could exchange the items, and they notified me that the only way to exchange the items is in a physical store, where they would assist me, and there is no way to see if they have the items in stock or to have the items reversed.

After waiting in line for 20 minutes to exchange the items, I was notified that I had to go find the five items independently. Then I was told that they could only exchange four or the items because one was an online exclusive. However, the manager said that if I called the customer support, they should be able to exchange the online exclusive item.

When I called the customer support, they said that they do not re-ship items, so the only thing I can do is to return the item. So, basically, there is no way to exchange anything that is an online exclusive, which is fine, but it should say that on the website, and the first customer service representative should have said that on the first call. I will be going back tomorrow to return everything and will no be buying from here again.

The reason that I have Uniqlo two stars is that their clothing is pretty good quality for the price point, but it's not worth the hassle, the unknowledgeable customer service representatives, or a business where the services offered do not communicate or work together.

Rude employee and law violation
January 7, 2023

Employee was very rude to me today ( 07/01/2023) and refused to return the product in perfect condition. She said the company never returns the money. She did not want to do anything and explain the reason. She just said it was UNIQLO's problem, not her problem. When I asked to call the director, she said that she is the director (she said so, maybe it was not true, I don't know). Then director of Uniqlo rudely told me to leave. There was many peoples who saw her violent behavior.

Also I asked her name and she wrote a fake name on paper and laughed. She hid her name.

Address: Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City, Vincom Center Landmark 81,720A Điện Biên Phủ Phường 22, Bình Thạnh, Thành phố

I want to return the dress I bought from this store. And I think that such rude employees ruin the reputation of the company. I am very upset by this attitude and feel obliged to write truthful reviews about this employee everywhere.

Her behavior violates the law on the rules of return and communication with buyers. I won't let be rude to me and speak rudely.I want her to apologize to me for her cruelty towards. I was very worried and I need justice. I will talk about this employee everywhere.

I am a blogger and in my blog also plan to share this attitude of an employee.

Thank you for attention

I have shopped at Uniqlo stores for years, and am happy with their products. In December they had a promotion with free shipping and a bonus item. I ordered eight pair of RED socks and got a ninth pair as a bonus. What was delivered were nine pair of PINK socks. When I tried to get them to correct the order they said they could not, but would give me a full refund and supply a pre paid return label. I could keep the bonus pair (donated them to a shelter) and there would be no restocking fee. RESTOCKING FEE FOR THEM SENDING THE WRONG ITEM. They did process the refund but I had to contact them again to get the restocking fee refunded.
Because of the lock down, and thinking my earlier experience was an anomaly, when they offered free shipping (mid April 2020) I ordered eight pair of RED socks (no bonus this time). What I received was 8 pair of PINK socks. Got the return label but I will never use their on line service again, and I am waiting to see if they try to charge a restocking fee this time..

Updated Return Policy & Inconsistent Sizing
December 10, 2021
Updated review

Let me start off by saying that I was an avid customer of UNIQLO since 2010-2011 when they first opened up in NYC. I loved their stores and simplicity. I purchased their Heat-Tech products, their jackets and I love their basics. UNIQLO, despite being such a large company, they fail to adhere to modern customer service practices.

1. They accidentally charged me sales tax for clothes once despite NYC not having sales tax on clothes under. Since it was only a few dollars, I decided to just let it go because customer service wasn't understanding what I was trying to say then when I finally got through to them, they never refunded me the difference. I forgave that since I still liked their clothes.
2. Even though their clothes are decent, they have very inconsistent sizing. I come to realize their jackets (mostly) are ridiculously large. I'm normally a size S and the jacket would be huge. Then I order an XXS, and still too big! Anytime there's a sizing issue, I thought no big deal, I could commute to the store and return.

Well unfortunately, UNIQLO no longer accepts online returns in their stores. They used to. I wanted to save $7 return shipping and some hassle waiting for a refund from a shipped out return. But I went to their store a week ago and they told me they only can do an equal exchange in-store and refunds are no longer an option.

This is honestly such a backwards decision on their part that I will no longer buy from UNIQLO. Not only did I waste $2.75 taking a train to the store, but I wasted so much time for no reason. I was completely infuriated! I gave them 3-stars to be reasonable because the quality of most their products are pretty good, and the prices aren't too high either. But this changed return policy is got me so heated that I'm no longer purchasing from them until they change it back.

Double Charges & Sales Taxes!
March 19, 2018
Previous review

The clothes are alright. I don't believe that the quality is around the same as F21 as someone else here stated; that's an exaggeration. I've had clothes from UNIQLO since 2011 and they all been fine and I can't say the same for F21. I just don't like the experience of shopping on their website. I was double charged on my card and on top of that, I was charged sales tax on clothes when NYC has a tax exemption of clothing under $110.

The website also shows items that are completely out of stock which is really annoying. Returns aren't free but so what. If that's an issue, I don't know why people still shop here and complain about return shipping costs. I have't had to exchange anything so I can't say much for that. As for returns without tags attached, no retailer I know would EVER take returns for clothes with no tags attached. Seriously, people here expect something from nothing.
