I bought a pair of jeans and used their size chart to determine the correct size. They ended up being way too big. I spent $5 to have them shipped and now I had to spend $7 to return them. I was out 50%! This was not a good experience for me. I just want buyers to be aware.
The quality of the products is horrible but not as horrible as customer service which is non-existent. Also if you make the mistake of ordering keep in mind that it will probably take over a month to receive your items.
According to the USPS tracking information, Uniqlo never shipped my package.
Uniqlo claimed the package had been delivered.
They will not credit you in spite of any tracking information that proves they were wrong. Instead, they will advise you to contact your credit card company (!). I did not receive credit for a shipment that Uniqlo never made but fraudulently claims was delivered.
Worst customer service ever. And not worth it - steep declines in quality and uninteresting design.
I will never order online again from Uniqlo. If you need to return there is no way to return in store. No way to reach CS. They have the nerve to deduct shipping costs. The return took 2.5 weeks and I needed to dispute the charge with my CC company. The item shipped to me wasn't even in packaging. A previous down jacket had a zipper that would not work. Total crap experience all the way around.
This a holiday season and this store is not American by quality, customer satisfaction or high standard store.
I got items for my daughter and she did like them: poor fit and see through feather sticking out of the winter jacket. I could find check last minute for total $140. This store WONT do anything for you, without receipt you get nothing: NO return and exchange for other items for the same price or more, No store credit, all you can do is to exchange for a different size same items.
Why all American stores are hold up to standards, help customer to be happy and find the items that fit but this Chinese outlet does not? It is violation of consumer right to choose and right to be educated, no one in the store educated me at the purchase that without receipt you are no one, I would then perhaps make a foto of my check…
Pray you do not need to make a return. Uniqlo make it very very hard. Such a stupid attitude. All I wanted to do was exchange a t shirt for a different size. Nearly impossible. Gave up. Even in the shop they wouldn't do it. Unbelievable. Short sighted. Terrible philosophy. They must get so many angry customers.
Bought t shirts after reading great reviews. Too small so I returned them immediately. It's been a month since they received my return. *they initially denied I returned the item but I had the tracking number and they miraculously found my return. I got an email stating my return was complete and that I would get an email when my account was credited. Neither have happened and after 5 weeks, I get the feeling they don't intend on refunding my money.
I think everyone today knows about Ukrainian situation today. Russia started real war in 21 century. Besides this they are bombing peaceful citizens, hospitals, schools, kindergartens. In this moment they killed 38 kids in Ukraine. 156 in the hospitals.
And this company is staying with russia. It means support! No war! No killing kids!
I am a fan of their down jackets and other items. I always use the "collect at convenience" store option as I have a horrible neighbour and despite me asking couriers not to leave things with him, they do, and I never get them.
The last THREE orders I have placed have been lost. When I track with HERMES, I see "missing pre-advice" and this means the item is now lost and will be returned to Uniqlo. After the first 2 orders Uniqlo advised me this was an IT error and was now fixed. I placed another order. Same thing has happened again.
This particular order was a gift for my God Daughter's birthday which she specifically asked for.
After the first 2 lost orders I did get a response from them giving me codes for 10% off and free postage but to be honest I don't think I will be using them again.
Made a purchase on a Wednesday and the shipping time they claimed was 3 to 5 business days. They ended shipping my order several days later than they said and according to the tracking number I will receive the package in a total of 8 business days. Because of this situation I won't be able to receive it. I made a claim by facebook, by email and by phone and they don't give any answer. Their customer service is a complete disaster. They are scammers, don't trust this company and don't ever purchase from them online.
Don't ever buy online from Uniqlo, you cannot return them to the store, and there is a fee to send it back, just buy it from the store or don't buy it at all!
Terrible return policy. No exchanges on any baby items, even if it's completely unopened sealed in its original package. It's UNOPENED, NEW, SEALED. Why a global business cannot accommodate for a simple gift exchange (when Amazon has 3 months exchange on all baby items, even free returns, when just about everything in retail stores can be exchanged)--I do not understand.
Terrible customer service too. At store and online, simply said to go look at the policy. Your policy is ridiculous for such a large retail business.
I discovered Uniqlo in Asia and US. Clearly Uniqlo Canada sucks.
Please don't buy baby gifts from here since its not exchangable and baby needs always changes.
When washed for the first time, all the down or whatever the Chinese used as insulation, turned into lumpy balls, visible when held up to the light. After sending numerous chats, swapping emails, submitting requested photos, the receipt, & requesting either a replacement or a refund, UNIQLO now advises we will have to return to the actual store in Stuttgart, Germany (from USA) for resolution. Hope the EURO 70.00 paid, ultimately costs them more in lost business from bad reviews.
Uniqlo makes good clothing at affordable prices. However don't order it on their website. They have no telephone service, no live chat, it takes several says before they respond to emails and they write nonsense. I wrote several emails to complain that I never received my order, and after several days they wrote back to say that they will refund after I have returned the order... that I did not receive. This company should be banned from e-commerce until they have their processes right so that they abide to the law.
Placed order for +J 7.15 am day of release and order confirmed. 6 days later, nothing. Called and then had confirmation of full 5 piece order (and invoice) the following day. Collected 2 days later. Only 3 pieces. Called again (20 mins wait)... apologies, nothing they can do, sold out. Not the first time this has happened... appalling customer service and now have to wait for investigation prior to refund for missing pieces, plus 15 days for refund for items being returned Couldn't get much worse. You would think this was a real MickeyMouse company not a major international retailer
Buy online no in store return. You ship back the item you bought and charge you $7.00 and takes a long time to get your refund. Worst exchange and return policy. Money hunger
Purchased a t-shirt from Vasant kunj store and later found out that it has a hole on the sleeve. Went back to the store in 5 days to exchange the t-shirt. Manager told us that we should have inspected the item closely before purchasing them as they cannot do anything now. This reminded me of the shopping from roadside vendors, because they also respond exactly the same in such scenario.
I have shopped at uniglo for years. Recently my husband bought a jacket on line. He wore it one time and when he took it off he saw there were cuts in the outside back of the jacket and the material was poking out. He called Uniglo. The asked him to send them pictures I did. They responded with because he wore it (one time and then this quality issue became apparent) they offered me a $10 coupon! They said because he wore it it could not be returned. I was very upset with this answer. I wrote back (the email said to respond if I wished) and told them he was a LONG time customer and if this was their customer service method they would loose us.
I have NEVER heard back again. Buy at you worn risk! If we lied and said it was delivered this way we would have had a full refund, but we don't lie. Clearly this was a case of manufacturer error. The inside was coming out, not on the seam, but in the middle of the jacket! I had to click the stars in order to send this review, which is why there is even 1 star.
First time I buy Uniqlo, I made a size mistake. In every store I am a perfect size M.
This coat was on final sale, when it arrive it was huge on me. Trying to reason with the phone agent about just to exchange the same product for a different size considering it was my first purchase and I wasn't used to their sizes. It was a draconian NO, no return or exchanges on online purchases, you have to go to the next store which is 4 hours away from where I live.
NEVER AGAIN.
Transactions show cancelled and after a day are shipped duplicating the purchase, even when a customer service agent was contacted and confirmed it was cancelled.

Recommendation: do not purchase using the web
Answer: Legit company that behaves like scam artists-see review about returning Airism camisoles, for item they themselves called defective, wouldn't refund return shipping until requested 5 separate times, even after agreeing to do so, and still fighting me about refunding original shipping charges
Answer: Extremely hard — your can reach them by chat and they refuse to call you when you ask them to (they say they cannot do it, which seems dubious to say the least)— really not a helpful customer service.
