I am a long time Gap Brand shopper. I even used to work for the Gap. However, as of today, they have lost me as a customer for good. Tried to return several items past the 30 days fully willing to accept merchandise credit at current selling price. All items are current, tags on and selling for the full price I bought them for. Yet they would not even give me merchandise credit as they have in the past. My mother died, AND I moved my entire family to a new house during the window of the return policy, the bag simply got lost in the chaos of the move. Their new return policy is unacceptable and I will take my business elsewhere as a result.
I received an online order today from Old Navy.com. It was defective as they call it.
The jacket had damage that was obviously not caused by shipping. I therefore believe someone at warehouse/store decided to ship a defective item. Plainly they couldn't sell it in a store, so decided to ship it to an online customer who couldn't preview the item. I was offered a return. And had to pull teeth to get an exchange. Then, thank goodness that I checked to see if the store had it in stock before driving to make the exchange. They would have allowed me to go to the store then get told there that the item was not in stock. So again they offered a mail in exchange. I don't think I will shop here again.
Their return policy is 30 days. That's it. I barely ever get to the mall. I ran there after work to find out they closed at 7pm! So I ended up having to wait longer to return. Then it was after the 30 day policy. Even with receipt + tags on, they wouldn't even give me in store credit for the lowest price like most stores…. Literally no other store I shop at has a 30 day policy. Been shopping there so much recently (online), but will never buy here again.
Late delivery for the Birthday, promised to be there a day early it was actually 8 days late. One of the packages was said to be in a UPS Store, never identified which one of the four in town, and when we did get the other packages (2 of 3) nothing fit, pants with same size were, one too small, one too big, not by small amounts either it was a huge difference, one item was obviously a previous return and soiled. Spoke to 6 people. 2 told me I could get a temporary card number and the other 4 told me it was not something they could do. I even spoke to a manager. Customer line was loud, hard to understand, and clearly they were not on the same page! Don't call them!
They sent me the wrong order. I return it to get my refund. Which was close to $70. I called customer service again because it been almost a month without receiving my refund. They say they can't track the order and they can't help me. Worst customer service. Gave them free money. Horrible people. Scammers!
When you're ordering something and they tell you they will waive the shipping cost and shipping overnight make sure even if you've gotten your confirmation email can you go back and checking for your tracking number is this is the second time I've had them order me something overnight and then change how I was getting it delivered they are the worst I think it's time to look for another store
I wore these pajamas bottom all day until my daughter pointed out the Jewish candles on them! I had to burn them! I refuse to have Zionism forced on me! I am beyond upset and offended to the maximum amount!
They have no customer service skills. I waited on the phone for 1.5 hours to speak to someone about modifying an order I placed. They said they couldn't do anything as the order was placed. However, they then contacted me via email to tell me they didn't have several items in stock and they were modifying my order. They can make changes when it suits them but not the customer. The need to have a call back option when you call. I tried to chat with customer service but it says to try later.
I bought some things on line in mid AprilI didn't like the flimsy material whe I received the order as month later so I sent it back the next day.
They received the merchandise on May 22nd and still have not given me a refund.
I will never buy from old navy again!
Terrible customer service and horrible cancellation policies! Do Not order online from here! Website glitched and processed my order twice, immediately called in minutes and was told they were unable to cancel. Now items are on the way by Dec. 11th and customer support says I had to wait and return before getting refund. That means I tried to cancel immediately but will now have to wait weeks to get the money back in my account. Save your time and shop on Amazon!
Not only do they not have clothes for heavy people the only person in their commercials wearing sexy women's clothing is a 6 foot 6 inch transvestite who they don't have women's clothes that would fit him.
I placed an order Dec 2 that was suppose to arrive on Dec 16 at the latest, I have paid for the order and well here we are a week before Christmas and after several emails to try to get an update on my order they send me a 15% discount and cancel my order. So now I need to try to replace gifts that should already be wrapped.
Ordered, instead of running to the store that is over 50 miles. 50% off sale, ordered 4 jeans. Had to return 2, Customer service very helpful. She found me the jeans I wanted and since sale off gave me sale price.
I really like Old Navy because their prices are so affordable but it is really hard to find accurate size. They always have good sales and good prices, but you have to stay updated for that. And their website is terrible.
Was shipped a used shirt. There was no option to exchange it, only return and place another order -- archaic system.
A prior return was not fully credit for several weeks -- archaic system.

I love Old Navy for children's clothes. The orders process and arrive in days, and for the price- the children's clothes are pretty good. I sometimes shop here for myself and my husband, and the quality can be either really decent or downright poor. It's always a toss up. Returning clothes is easy too, and I've never had a problem with any of my orders. Cost vs Quality is usually decent, and I only took a star off because of the quality of the adult clothing line. Plus there are ALWAYS sales, and discounts. I can save tons shopping here for my family!
I went to the store and bought a pair of khaki pants that we're on a rack with tons of the same pants in different colors. The rack said they were on sale for only $15. I noticed when I got home I was charged full price for the pants ($40). I called the store and was told I would receive a refund if I went to store with my receipt. The next day I went to the store with my receipt, the cashier was about to refund me when he was told by a female employee that he could not do that and the pants were put in the wrong spot. Very frustrating...
Old navy has to have the worst online service I have ever dealt with. Their is no access to your own account number on anything they send you so you are just supposed to know you account is your credit card number. They offer no way to pay bills from their web site and send you to another website to pay your bills. The second website keeps throwing security questions and the only to places I can send to authenticate that I'm actually me is my wife's phone and my email address (that I already have to enter the app from to find the bills I have do).
I shopped here spent 100$ In November. Had to wait until December to use cash redemption I earned. Something's came up with my family. I asked if they could honor it and they said I can upload cash to rewards for a day late expired cash. I did that. It was 30$. I ended up only getting 5$. What a waste of time and money. I will never shop or affiliate with this company including all their sister company's ever again. This is literally a scam. They make you wait so long to use it and then only give you a week hoping you will forget so they win! Y'all are a disgrace and I am getting rid of the clothes that I bought! Lost my business for life and I will continue to repost this everywhere. I will make sure you lose more then 30$ worth of business.
Answer: I have never had an issue but I make sure to call when it's not peak hours. I call in the evening after dinner time. Never call on a Monday morning.
Answer: Clear your browsers cache and cookies. Something you should do everyday anyways.You can sign up for emails without having an account but if you think you do just do a simple forgot password on the sign in page. I prefer ordering online bc they have online only specials. You can also chat with an agent. If you call make sure it's not peak hours and you'll have no issues getting a person.
Answer: It may have gone to your junk folder. If you do the shopping without signing in or as a guest then you don't get confirmation email. Always take a snapshot when you place your order or call them. It happened to me twice. Now I always make sure I am signed in before placing order online. Hope this helps.
