Do not buy anything from this company! They do not care about their customers, the quality of their clothing is poor, they will not send a return shipping label for unhappy customers, the company is located in China and customs is involved. The lady at the post office said it wasn't worth the $54 shipping for tracking the package (yep!) because it's rare this company will even refund any money... Poor excuse of a company based in China. Paypal should not allow this company to use their services. The reviews for this dress were high and I now highly suspect they were false ones. The material was a low quality polyester. The zipper puckered. Customer service would not send a return shipping label to return the dress. Never again will I use this online vendor! Terrible customer service! Buyer beware!

No value for money

Very low quality products. The products smell very badly, like the clothes have been inside of a very humid warehouse. The fabrics are very cheap, I definitely paid a very high amount of money for the quality. I wanted to return one item at least but the shipping cost was almost equal to the price, hence not worth it and a waste.

This is a terrible company for customer service. I would simply like to return two items I purchased. You have to email them for the address. They will do their best to convince you not to do so. If they continue, I will contact lawyers.

Wasted Money
September 18, 2019

I bought several dresses from Metisu over $300. None of the dresses fit properly but one. Two of the dresses were obviously for people of short status. The waste came under my breast. I called and told them about the disappointment and was told I would have to pay a large amount of money to return them and that I would not be able to get a refund. I was so disappointed but I WILL NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM AND YOU SHOULD NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!

Disappointment

I've read the reviews prior braving myself to place an order... It's the worse decision I've ever made. Should have trusted my gut feeling & acknowledged other reviews of the poor quality of the products & communication. I was keen to receive my order but stunned with disappointment of the poor quality & fit. The company did not respond to my message of wanting to refund the parcel. Don't deliver on time
December 8, 2017

I paid extra to expedite shipping now I am going to have to go shopping right before my holiday event. No phone number to call. Their response to emails is that I " shouldn't worry I will have it soon". But not when it was guaranteed. Not the shippers fault it was Metisu who did not get the package to UPS until the day before I expected delivery to my door.

Avoid this company
December 4, 2017

I ordered a dress according to the size chart - I am a size two and ordered a small. I could not zip it over my ribs.

I began the return process. An address to return the item was not provided until I paid $5.99 into their PayPal account; then required the transaction ID (which they would have received with the $5.99).

They offered a discount on future purchases if I kept the dress. They suggested that returning it (to China) was expensive and I should give the dress ($64.99) to an acquaintance.

It seems that they are making the process as difficult as possible.

Buyer beware, company is from China and their products are sub-par to say the least! They are cheap fabrics, flammable, they smell like plastic, and their sizing wouldn't fit a Barbie doll! Beware all the "positive" ratings you may see! They are fake! This company is a scam and they have an F rating with the Better Business Bureau!

Don't buy from Metisu

I will not be buying from Metisu again. And I will be reviewing Metisu on websites to tell others about the shipping. When I purchased the dresses, it said free shipping if my order was over 100. It did not say one way. It cost 70.75 to return the dresses that neither one fit. My order was 119 total. I was only offered a $17 refund. It is a horrible refund. But this is horrible company policy.

Also, the dresses were decent material, but did not fit. I carefully followed the chart and both dresses, different styles. Did not fit.

Just ordered a dress from this company a few hours ago and have already emailed to cancel after reading all of these reviews!
I already am chalking this up to a total loss and am glad my purchase was only $60.00.
This company totally sucks you in with their "fake" reviews on the items on their site. I read all of the reviews, saw the Cali address, and thought this was a legit company until I received a text from my credit card asking about my purchase from China! I thought "oh crap, I was just scammed!"
I am going to file a complaint to my CC and try to stop the payment, along with pay pal. Wish me luck!
I will update my review if I am able to cancel my order.

Shopping from hell

I ordered a dress and it came with a wrong size, I contacted the company to return and they tried to offer me 20% for next order but I can't wear it because it's too small so I have to return with my own cost but I never received a refund for it. They ignored my email after this, never heard from them again It was worst experience shopping I ever dealt with.

Hate Metisu
June 24, 2018

I had a horrible experience with this company, I don't want to order ever again!
I had to return a 60£ dress because it was horrible quality and not as described! Had to pay for return!
After one month the Company said they didn't receive the dress so I lost almost 70£, and I couldn't do anything!

AVOID AT ALL COST. The dresses I received are such "good" material that my son asked where I go the kite from. Cheap, cheap, cheap polyester that would be wasted on a kite, actually. And the customer needs to pay for return? To China? I have NEVER had such a bad experience buying online. Awful awful awful.

This company has less than poor customer service. The dress I ordered was too small in the arm holes but the rest of the dress fit fine. After tons of delayed emails (it took them DAYS to reply to emails) they decided that they would not pay for return or exchange shipping because the problem was with me and not their dress!

They DO NOT have an American address, only one in China and they told me that I "didn't need to add tracking if it was too expensive" for me. Thats ANOTHER red flag - they will probably say they never received the dress back and avoid giving me a refund!

I will be reporting this company and placing reviews everywhere I can so that they are exposed for what they are.

Metisu is awful! The shipping took forever, which is fine, but the clothes were AWFUL. They didn't fit properly, were a very cheap material, and didn't look at all like the clothing in the pictures. When I asked for a refund, they said I had to pay for very high shipping to China, and that it wasn't worth it. Who does that?! If it's too cheap to be true, it's too cheap to be true. DO NOT BUY. I wasted $100 here.

The items I ordered did not fit the description that was given on the website. A midi dress was above the knee. They make it impossible to return. I went to the post office to return it and the postal worker said, "I wouldn't mail this if I were you. We see this all the time. They claim they never get your package and you never see a refund." It is a scam.

Most Likely a Scam
February 8, 2018

I recently purchased a dress that I loved online and I really liked it whenever I tried it on. The unfortunate thing was at the end of the dress where the zipper started was starting to fray, the stitching was coming undone, making the dress defective. I went to get a refund and they said I would have to fill out a form and pay for the shipping. This sounded sketchy to me, so I looked into their company and almost every review was negative. Most people said they did pay the insane amount to return it, either didnt get their money back, or the item got lost. Whenever I emailed the company, that basically give you whatever round about answer they can, and they just sound weird and sketchy. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. RED FLAGS.

As returns are paid by the buyer -then the cost of return of poor quality and bad fit item, to China is so expensive, any refund (if it ever arrives) becomes negligible.

However you need to pay the return shipping fee on your own. “ Please refer to the Return&Exchange Policy.
