I bought a dress from here with the mindset of it not being how people said it would be but when I received it & tried it on the dress was exactly how the website said it was. The only thing was that I got an xsmall because I'm 5 ft and I just had to get the length altered cause it was really long.
I bought a bridal dress from them for $43 (originally $86). I was really expecting it to be low quality, after all, it's a wedding dress under $100. It was high quality, the fabric is thick and strong, the dress fits well. I wouldn't say it's as high of a quality as a $2000 dress, but I would easily pay $250 for it. Today they had a deal for 50% off dresses. There was an glitch and it charged me 50% off one dress but not the other two. I called customer service and they had no issues fixing it for me. I will be definitely be a repeat buyer!
I placed my order and paid for an express shipping. I needed it to arrive on friday for an event. When i checked the tracking on friday the ups failed to deliver it because they messed up my zip code! So frustrating! Why can't you check the address you are shipping to? Needless to say that i canceled the order and had to run around looking for smth else to wear. Well, at least i got my money back..
I ordered 4 items and sent 3 back. I got an email that stated they received my return, however I noticed I only got refunded for 2 of the 3 items. When I called they told me they didn't receive 1 of my items. I told her I sent them all together and remember packaging the box. She immediately got defensive and told me the box had not been tampered with' and told me she would gladly give me store credit. Why would I want store credit after this? Ive never had a company try and pull this on me. Since then I've emailed in and it's still the run around, but they keep telling me my store credit will never expire. Too bad they weren't this quick to give a proper refund.
I was a little nervous placing my order, since it was a little pricey and I have been scammed by other online businesses. I just received my order and the clothes are beautiful, the sizes are perfect and the shipping quick. This is the best online ordering I have ever experienced. This is a legit site, offering great quality clothing. Totally worth the money.
Buyer beware! Lulu's is cheap junk that is waaayyy over priced. They charge you $7 to return the cheap junk they over charged you for. Everything I ordered ($400+) is the worst quality clothing I have ever seen. Cheap material that looks like it is 10 year old clothing you save to paint in or pull weeds in. Save your money!

I had ordered my dress for a wedding through lulus.com. I needed to return the dress and realized it was after my 30 days per the policy that I was unable to return. I wrote in to customer service and asked them if they would be willing to issue my refund. They were more than accommodating to process the refund. This is such an amazing company! I will ABSOLUTELY shop here again and I will ABSOLUTELY recommend anyone to shop at this site. Thank you LULUS! You have my business!
Updated Review: I was contacted by the supervisor very quickly post my experience earlier today. I am pleased with the way the situation was handled and will probably try to order from Lulu's again in the near future. I have changed my rating, because I don't want to bash the whole company for one bad seed.
Old Review: I had questions about my FIRST order at Lulus. I contacted customer service via email to get clarification on the student discount. The first email I received was nice, but very unclear. I replied asking a question about what * had sent and her response was totally UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE. Customer service is everything, and if you don't have that as a company, you have nothing. I made my first purchase today and that will be the last because of the way I was treated.

I ordered a dress and jumpsuit. I wore the dress once and the pocket ripped, after waiting on the phone for an HOUR, I was told to send pictures of the dress and they would either send me a replacement or my money back if the dress was no longer available. I sent my picture and I was offered 25% refund to fix the dress, that wouldn't cover the cost to fix the dress, I said I would prefer a replacement since they still have the dress in stock, I was then told that they don't replace merchandise that has been worn and would give me 35%. I'm honestly shocked that they wouldn't replace the dress and barging on how much of a refund they are will to give. I don't think I will ever purchase from them again.

I love Lulu's I shop there frequently the site is easy to maneuver and the items on the site are always trendy and cute. Today I spoke to * the customer service rep who wasn't very helpful in accommodating my concerns and could care less about my issue. I later called back and spoke to * about my same issue she was more than willing to help and made sure I ended the call a continued happy customer. She's awesome.

I got a dress that had a snag when it shipped to me but I didn't find the snag until the day of the event and had to wear the dress. I made sure to be extra carful in it. I let them know the situation and they sent me a replacement right away and they were so nice and helpful about it.
The back is up too high, the straps wear out quickly, aren't very comfortable. I'm usually a size 7. I had to buy another pair because it was way to big. So I bought a size 6.5. Come to find out I needed a 6. But the quality and going through the whole process just wasn't worth it. Only needed it for one night and I wasn't going to buy ANOTHER pair.

Customer service/loyalty mean nothing to this company. I truly love the designs and overall quality but goshhh returns are a nightmare. I purchased shoes, received them, tried them on... super cute and of course kept them, read threw away a box because hey I really didnt need it.
Once it was time to wear my pretty shoes I realize they are defective, left and right simply dont match what a disappointment. Unfortunately I had to return them but guess what. They refused to accept and after about 10 emails back and forth they still want to send me back these shoes for me to keep claiming they are not resellable... well maybe you shouldnt resell defective shoes, just a food for thought

I made my first order on Lulus website and was so excited to receive it until I got the notification by my post office that I had to pay extra 71EUR of taxes and duties... Yes, I live in France. I did not think about checking any reviews on internet before ordering so I was not aware of this at all... This was such a bad new for me even though I tried out the outfits and dresses I bought and that they fit me perfectly... I mean I was ready to pay this price for clothes even if it is already super expensive in my opinion, but knowing that I will have to pay duties/fees every time I will order is clearly cooling me down about my next purchases on Lulus...
So this will happen to you if you ship your order outside of the USA obviously!

I ordered a dress from Lulu's and paid an additional fee for 3 day express delivery, which LuLu's happily charged me, then a day before the dress was scheduled to arrive I was told it was back ordered with no known ship out date. I promptly contacted Lulu's and was told they would issue a refund. Almost 2 weeks later and my refund was FINALLY processed today and I should be expecting a refund within 3-5 business days. I find it repulsive that they can automatically take my money then $#*! up several times all the while holding on to MY MONEY and not processing my refund in a timely manner. I will NEVER shop at LuLu's again. I've spent hundreds of dollars shopping online at LuLu's and they think a lousy $20 credit will keep me as a customer... Bye Felicia!

Ordered prom dress (Everlasting Enchantment Light Peach Maxi Dress) from this site. American company and I live in the UK, but even including shipping it worked out a fair price. HOWEVER, before it got delivered I was told by Royal Mail that I had to pay VAT and a handling fee which hadn't been made explicit before purchase. It was an additional £19.50 which I had not anticipated so be warned! This said, the dress is relatively good quality and true to size- I guess it's like the American equivalent of New Look. The material is slightly heavy and feels a bit cheap, and it hangs a bit strangely (but I think that's more due to my body shape), but overall I'm pleased with the purchase.
I am very scepticsl when buying online. Afraid of ooor quality material or poor workmanship. Also I am a Latina of course with a curvey figure and was afraid these dresses were gouge to be for more slender petite frame. But I was looking everywhere for a particular dress and only accidentally came accross it in LuLus fashion. I have to say that I had to return the first dress because I didn't realize I order it from the "junior" section so I had to return it. I thought it would be a hassle. But when I calle their customer service department they were excellent. No hassle no fuss. And they explained I need to go a size bigger. My dress arrived about a week later and fit like a glove.
I'm extremely impressed by lulus fashion. They have not let me down thus far.
I ordered 5 white dresses as backups for a casual wedding ceremony. I ended up returning all of them using their shipping label, and I love that I received email confirmation every step along the way: initiating a return, the package being in transit to the Lulus warehouse, Lulus receiving the package, and Lulus processing the refund IN A TIMELY MANNER. Why can't all companies do this? I'm in Northern California not too far from them, so I'm sure proximity played a role in how quickly I was able to receive and return my items. Still, I had a great first experience with Lulus, and I'd totally return to the site. The quality of the items are pretty good, and that's fine because the price point reflects that.
Bought 3 dresses and 2 pairs of shoes in May with the intention of purchasing a pair of shoes and a dress for graduation. Neither of the shoes fit despite being my size (they were too large and I probably would have broken an ankle) so I picked the dress I liked most and returned the other two. It is now September and I got an email from them that I have returned too much stuff lately and if I keep returning things they will limit service on my account. I haven't bought anything since this event and otherwise I have kept purchases unless they have been too large. (I am 5'0" and under 110 lbs so finding things that fit is a huge challenge) I am now super weary of purchasing anything else from them because I am afraid they won't allow me to return things. It is a shame because their clothes are super cute but are usually on the large side. (This is even if I order an x-small) Definitely give them a try because they do have some hidden gems but short people just be weary of their return policy.
Lulu's reached out, apologized, and upgraded my shipping to overnight. However, I received their communication on the 11th and didn't receive my items until the 15th. Overall, I love the romper and dress I got and because of this and their costumer service will give them another try!
I placed an order on May 8th and this order status still says "Pending." This would be fine, as I only used standard shipping and am in no hurry to receive my items; however, I was surprised to see that I had already been charged for these items! This is especially concerning as I have no way to track my order and the items were final sale so if anything happens, I am certain I will never see my money again. Isn't it usually the case that you wait to charge a customer until an order ships? Will not be ordering from them again. This does not seem right.
Answer: DO NOT ORDER FROM CANADA! They will charge you an insane amount for duties and taxes! I bought 2 dresses worth about $70 CAD each and I had to pay $68 CAD in duties and taxes! I've ordered from many other American companies and online stores and I've never ever paid this much is duty or taxes!
