I followed all the necessary steps. I thought their service would be consistent. Turned out my first order was just lucky. This time, it took them a long time to reply to my inquiry. I called their hotline and the one I talked to was borderline rude. Their reason was that there was a problem with the credit card but when i checked the item because i wanted to do the whole thing over again, the price was different. :/
Lazada allows their pick-up team to cancel the promised pickp without any reason. At first, the cs kept telling us to wait. We for 5 months and 2 weeks. But the pick up team can cancel pick-up two times. And there is no way to contact any other department except the cs. That's Lazada's way to protect their staff who is taking advantage of the customers. Lazada is stealing money in effect!

First item i bought from lazada is a filter for a camera, and actually i was expecting some damage(broken glass or whatsoever)... but when the item was delivered, it was in perfect condition(no damage at all), and yeah i was very happy for that, and i started buying more high value item from them and they always deliver it without any damage, so yeah. I ordered a tablet on 7 May, costing PHP6500. They delivered a set of make-up brushes worth about 50 pesos. I returned it, they processed a voucher refund, so I re-ordered. This time, they delivered a cheap plastic clock. I refused delivery. Since then, I've had two chat sessions, both times they've promised that the cancellation would be processed within 24-48 hours, but it's still showing as "shipping". Right now, I'm in the queue for chat for nobody's there. They seem to have a serious problem handling expensive items, and an even more serious problem handling customer service, now that there are no humans involved at their end.

Long time Lazada customer, but I'm finished. Within the last year, they've become a haven for shady businesses, many of which advertise themselves as local, but in fact are Chinese with no domestic stock. Where Lazada retailers used to be prompt and direct in response to queries, they are now suspiciously evasive and deceptive, and the poor quality of the products I've purchased in this past year raises questions of widespread deceptive practices among retailers. Additionally, if you are lucky enough to actually receive what you believed you purchased, it is a total crap shoot whether it will arrive undamaged, let alone on time. Kerry, Thai Post and DHL are all reliable carriers, but the rest are horrendous. The worst being Lazada's own LEL, so bad that it changed its name from LEX.
What was once a convenient alternative to big box store shopping is no more. It's a trash operation and not to be trusted. You'd be wise to give it a pass.

I bought on this site, every time there are problems, the sellers do not check what they send! Often it is broken, often it does not work, often there is no instructions for use. You end up with an article and you don't know how it works!
After you send a negative report but lazada does not give a damn about it, no interventions with the seller! Just a company to earn its percentage and that's it!

I used to love Lazada. The first online store I've ever been comfortable and happy to shop with, I have already made a lot of purchases from them. But lately i discovered their customer service is not good and products sold are of very bad quality. I've bought an air cooler last may 2015 after a few months its already damaged. I've also bought a Samsung LED TV for my mom last april 2015 and yesterday my mother called to inform me that the TV is not working properly. Last july, ordered 2 items, it was a USB LED light, they delivered only 1 item and I have already paid for 2 items. I contacted customer service regarding this but until now the problem has not been resolved. Hands down Lazada. You just lost 1 valued customer.

Bought a relatively cheap item just to test it (via COD) and what do you know, they fail to deliver! But whatever! Tried again after 2 months and surprise surprise! Still nothing. But fine! Against my better judgement, I tried for the third time after 3 months. Waiting waiting, another month has passed still no order! Hahaha. FAIL.

First of all, the products arrive late. Their partner LBC is not that good. They got lots of shipment so they're now really slow compared to JRS and other couriers. I hope they provide an option for what brand of courier service. The LBC employees especially in provinces are really impatient. They would update their LBC website as "return order" even if they only tried to deliver it once (which is supposed to be three delivery attempts).
Second, full of misleading and missing information especially on individual sellers, those that are not by Lazada.
Very slow communication. I would not rely on toll-frees because it's not actually toll free. Email support is really slow, takes you almost a decade.

Ordered 2 different style salt lamps, received 2 duplicate ones, both brokened. Called twice to set up return pick up. Pick up did not come at scheduled time, called to find out pick up date has been rescheduled. Did not receive any notification regarding the reschedule. I have no issue with regard to product quality except for they are brokered, but everything else made me not wanting to order from Lazada again. I don't even know how long it will take for them to investigate the incident to get my money back.

I ordered 6 items for my company we keep ready money and everything after getting approvals from the finance depart... after 4 days Lazada says seller doen't not have stocks, it very unpleasant that if an items publish on web site with out stock checking. They this online shopping is a fan page... this very important for organization for careless customer care officers and consumer depart in lazada. They didn't even bother about to check customer order. People mistake make company name bad... Specially Thailand Customer care is very slow. You need to give a training. My first ever purchase was successful. Logged my purchase Feb 5th and within 3 working days it was delivered in good condition.
Also kudos to Jeramy (customer service) for always answering my emails.
After reading all the bad comments and reviews I feel paranoid. So I immediately emailed them as also the recipient told me that LBC can not deliver within her area as its out of delivery zone.
Overall I feel satisfied with their service.

To Lazada P. - its not about the pricing, its about how you mislead people into believing that they can actually get a discount when in fact you are forcing them to buy 2 items at the same time by branding it "buy 1 take 1" when in reality, that amount is actually equivalent to the two items if they purchase it somewhere else, and without the "force buying of two units at the same time"
And yes prices, vary from merchant to merchant but not this much!

Answer: You can't tell from online usually. It's why have to purchase from reputable reliable vendors. Someone selling knockoffs, counterfeit and fake products will usually use the OEM specifications and often use the original OEM photos. I always read comments, reviews and most anything else about a seller/vendor to get an idea about what previous buyers had to say. I also look at the OEM website for a list of authorized dealers. Of course there is the "gray market" as well. Vendors who import authentic phones but they are not authorized so they wont have the OEM Manufacturers warranty. Many of these sellers/shops offer an in-house warranty and will repair phones in their own shop. Just realize they won't stock parts so even if they are decent people you may wait weeks for repairs to be completed. Most authorized dealers and repair shops will often just give you a replacement phone (usually remanufactured in pristine condition) or, if a simple repair, may have the parts in-stock. So your best bet is either use an authorized dealer or research to find one of the reliable 3rd party sellers. As the old adage (saying) goes "if it looks too good to be true, it probably isn't. If the price is well below what an authorized dealer or reputable shop, then it's likely it's not an original phone. You may have to save up a little longer to buy but in the long run its usually worth the extra money. Finally, I often look at the OEMs who either sell directly or use one of the bigger retail or online websites (for example, Lazada selling Xiaomi smartphones. At least you are dealing with a seller with written guarantees and refund/return policies that (somewhat) protect the Buyer. The only alternative is to either buy the lowest cost phones that won't break your savings if they break quickly OR buy from one of the Mobile Carriers (Smart, Globe, etc) Hope this helps. Good luck.
