Ordered a sale item from Kohls.com, using $10 Kohls cash... item was pretty inexpensive, even paying shipping. BUT... never received the item. My account online said it was shipped and I was billed. Contacted Kohls.com, a few times. It's been 6 weeks since item was ordered, paid the bill, lost my Kohls cash and no item. Will never order online from Kohls again.
Ordered my children's school uniforms. Totaled approx. $300.00. Was told order would be received in 3-5 days. On the 5th day I received a package it had only 1/2 the items ordered. If I had not kept track of my items I would never have known that I was missing some items. There was no communication from company saying that my other items were on the way or back ordered. 5 days later I received an email stating that my order was ready to ship... what? I called company and they said oh yes, you have more items ready to be shipped and they will arrive between September 10 and 15. I asked what happened to the 3-5 days I was promised. They said oh yes about that... these items were in high demand and were back ordered. I asked how come no one from Target contacted me? All I wanted was communication. They said we are too busy to contact every order that is back ordered. Do not like this store or their site...
I finally got a promo mailing for 30% off (usually get only 15%).
I tried to place an order for a total of $178 after discounts, and was to also get free shipping and $30 Kohls Cash.
I used my Kohls card, of course and input everything correctly.
When I reviewed my cart and hit "continue" there was an error page that the website server was unavailable. I tried for 25 minutes. Same page kept cropping up.
Then of course it's 1 minute after midnight and my discounts, kohls cash and free shipping are no longer valid. Am I an angry customer? You bet!
Furthermore, when I write to Kohls and complain, all I get is a 'we're sorry for the inconvenience... blah blah blah." They will not make good on the offer even though the problem was with their website.
Perhaps they had too many customers trying to take advantage of the discounts before the promo ended. If so, they need to fix their site to handle the traffic.
This is grossly unfair, as I could have saved over $200.
Even under normal circumstances, their website stinks. It takes forever to get to an item's page. It's not possible to filter several criteria at once such as shoes, women, size 9, blue, dressy. No. You have to do one filter at a time and wait, and wait and wait.
What's worse? Kohls really does not care.
I was attracted to Kohls and their online site during their Black Friday sale. In the store I got a great price on an expensive silverware set but the line was definitely not worth it. I hopped online thinking it was better and needing to use my new Kohl's card but it was an even worse nightmare than in the store.
I never received my first order. I called to explain what happened and after a lengthy apology and supposed fix, they put another order in for me. They said I wouldn't be charged but yet they charged me for my second order while keeping the first order. I received my order this time but I also received someone else's order! They didn't want to take it back to resend it to the poor customer who actually ordered it.
From then on I washed my hands of Kohls. The site is a nightmare and the experience is even worse because you don't even know if you will receive your order or be double charged! I'm definitely sticking to my go to clothing store sites.
If you earn Kohls cash on a purchase or spend Kohls cash you might have a problem if you try to return something. I asked cust svc if you could decline kohl's cash and they told me you could not but you can divide a larger purchase into several small ones under $50 each so you will not earn kohls cash. That is pretty messed up.
Also I noticed the quality on a lot of their merchandise is below Wal Mart's quality and they are rediculously over priced. I will be closing my account and not shopping there anymore. Its not worth the hassle.
Always love the extra stuff not available in stores, coypon codes and free shipping offers! :) beats shopping with 4 kids! :)
While I LOVE the Kohls store, my online experience has not been great. Ive made two orders in the past two weeks, and THREE of my items have had mistakes made by Kohls. One item was sent to a completely different person because their warehouse screwed up. Another is lost in the mail. And the last item they sent to my BILLING address which is not where Im staying right now, and the order CLEARLY says that the shipping address is seperate from the billing address. Very disappointed. Kohl's is NOT doing everything they can to satisfy their customer and they just lost an online customer in me. I'll still shop in store, but Im done online.

Love Kohl's and Kohls.com! There's always a sale, they always offer extra discounts with coupons, and my orders are always shipped very quickly. CSRs are helpful and friendly, and you can return items in store without question. Love it!

Do not order from Kohls.com. I found the same item on another website hours after placing the order on Kohls.com at night. I tried to log into my account on Kohls.com and it told me I had been locked out due to multiple login attempts. I had tried to log in only once and got this error. So since it was late at night, I went to bed. First thing the next morning, I tried again and was still unable to log in. So I called their customer service number. Spoke to a woman with a heavy accent and a loud tv on in the background. I was on that phone call for 10 minutes (most of which I waited on hold) to see if she could "price match" my item. When she returned from hold, she told me "no" she couldn't. She said she would ask for the order to be canceled and would put a note on the order – she did say that the order "might not be able to be canceled." So why did she tell me she put a note to cancel it?! Then she said she would send me a new password so I could log onto my account. She did, and it didn't work! Then I got an email 10 hours later saying my item was ready to ship. So I emailed them back and told them the order had been canceled. This was my reply: Once your order has moved to "Fulfillment" status, we are unable to change or cancel the order. It was not ready to be shipped for 24 hours after placing the order, and I had tried to cancel it several times. I still cannot log into my account, and now I am stuck receiving an order I don't want. Of course now I was told how I am so lucky to be able to "just return the item at the store" but will still have to pay the shipping and the gas and the time to and from, etc. Other websites at which I order all the time allow you to cancel an order up to the time when it ships. So don't order from Kohls unless you want a big hassle.
I love kohls! They always have great deals on everything in their stores and online is no different.
A good online retailer- They do have good sales and you can usually get a percentage off and free shipping. I have ordered clothes, curtains, and blankets from the site. I wasn't impressed with the clothing. The quality of the clothes was not what I had expected. The curtains and blankets were great. I used to check out the site religiously when I was looking for clothing- I now only look at their household items. Can't beat their great service though!

I was shopping for a dress for my little diva sister (who is now 7) and believe me there were alot to choose from i spent ours in the dressing.
Missy little diva picked out 2 dresses 2 pairs of shoes and hand bag and a little over the shoulder sweater. Lmaoo shee looked soo pretty:)
The best part was i only spent 40 bucks.
Other then that. The store Sucks. Never have true to size clothing and 1 shirt can run your pocket dry. Thank but ill have better luck looking thru Vims and finding something great rather then this store.

I purchased 2 pairs of Sonoma sandals from Kohls, I love them They where originally $20.00 marked down to $14.00. The 2 I bought are cutout medallion flip flops & the braided flip flops. Every year I buy this brand name because they are so comfortable. This year I bought the braided style in a light colored tan & the medallion flip flop in black. I have had many types of sandals but I like Sonoma's the best. They feel broke in from the get go. I can only find them at Khols. This store has really great priced items. In todays economy you have to be a thrifty shopper. They sent the sandals right away hassle free. They also have a nice collection of Rosetti handbags. Rosetti handbags are organizer bags. They have a great quality to them and last for years. I have purchased several hand bags from Kohls at lower prices for the same the same bags that JC Penniy's have. I love Kohl.com! They are always very quick and send clothing wrapped individually in plastic. Nice touch. Their prices are great when you catch sales and they almost always have coupon codes out. I got a shirt for 13 cents once... lol. The only complaint I have is sometimes it'll say they have an item when they really don't and you won't know until the very end, right before you place the order. Then you have to input all of your info in again. Other than that, it's great!
When I need jeans, shoes, or jackets I head to Kohls. Kohls is as "High-End" as it gets for me. They have good quality clothing and if you combine sales with coupons, you can get a pretty good price.
The problem for me is that I hate to shop. And Kohls, like most stores, is designed to disorientate you and make it hard for you to find what you want (remember the 70's when everything was where it was supposed to be?). Anyway, once you find what your looking for they don't have your size.
Kohls.com has proved to be a good website for me to shop at. Everything is easy to find, they have a better selection of items than in the store (they have "online exclusives") and they have the items in most sizes. They also have comments and ratings by shoppers on much of the merchandise.
One thing I don't like about the website (to be fair) is:
You can only cancel your order within an hour (or was it a half-hour) of placing an order. They don't tell you this on the website. They make you call and a recording tells you this. They did, however, tell me I could return the item at no charge or drop it off at the store. I drove by the local Kohls and dropped off my return and they only asked if the product was defective.
Their website allows you to enter up to 2 discount codes. You can usually get free shipping and other discount coupons by googling "kohls promo codes."
Answer: Don't know about Canada, but NO THEY ARE NOT RELIABLE! They can't even figure out to send a glass picture frame in a box instead of a plastic bag. TWICE! And forget about a refund. Shop elsewhere, anywhere else.
