They are convenient and have a lot of stuff, but in many cases I find the items for sale are of a low quality (kitchen cabinet hinges), the price is only average, and finding help can be a chore. Over the past ten years I've purchased ten appliances from HomeDepot; their prices are competitive and they seem to carry the brands favored by Consumer Reports. While I've gone to the store to examine the item (recommended); I have completed the purchase on-line which has included scheduling its installation and removal of the old. The process has been seamless and easy with delivery being as promised with the installers doing a careful and efficient job. My most recent purchase was for same day delivery and installation of a hot water heater. It was ordered by 9:30 am, delivered at 2:00pm! A bit pricey for the installation but

First off, I can't count how many times I've gone to HomeDepot and they either didn't have it or have it in stock. Prices on the Canadian side are far higher than the US but then what's new. The products are fewer with fewer makes and models so this doesn't make it good here but better in the US. Prices, high to average with damned little ever on sale unless its time to get rid of something or its become redundant. Its a convenience, local for most people to go and shop but the prices are higher than I find online so I'll not say its a bad place to shop but I can't count how many times I have gone there and left with nothing. Home Depot has some great prices. I went to buy mulch for the garden the price of the mulch was 3.00 or sometimes you can get it for 5 for 10 dollars. If your looking for certain things there are employee's that will help you find what your looking for. I like shopping at Home Depot.
