I placed an order online on May 11. I received an shipping confirmation on May 21 and a pick up of June 10. I called on 6-12-2020 to speak with customer service to find out where my order was.The First Lady hung up on me.The second lady said I was lied to and my order had not been shipped. Only option I was given was to wait 48 hours and see what happens. But the used a false shipping confirmation in order to charge me for the merchandise which is embezzlement. Using false shipping confirmation for for financial gain with a credit card is wire fraud both felonies.Im calling the police and having the whole online order department arrested since they are incapable of telling the truth or resolving this.
I regularly use the Waterville Home Depot store for my building materials. The staff are amazing to deal with and the store is always clean and tidy. The selection of lumber is quite good but beware of the dreaded banana wood (pre-bent lumber LOL) They always have great deals running on pellets or mulch and the guys will load my truck saving my poor old back. The only negatives i have found are the in stock kitchen cabinets (around 40% are damaged) and the website which can be amazingly slow with a search engine that is very inaccurate. I have tried other local HD store in Augusta, Bangor and Topsham. But the Waterville store IMHO is the best...
The site is good and it takes two hours for them to fill an order online so I can drive to the local
Home Depot to pick it up. Saves me money many ways. I don't get stuck looking at other things and then over spend. If you are going to have someone else pick it up, call the store and tell them. You have to present your ID to pick up your Oder. ID is required by the person picking up your Oder. If they don't have an item they will call you. It's pretty easy. Be sure when ordering you put filter of only showing you what's in stock for the store you pick as your store.
Bought a fridge but they refused to pick up my old one because they said that the purchase doesn't qualify as an appliance...
This is taken from their FAQ on their website:
''Will The Home Depot haul away my old appliance?
Yes! But the haul-away item must be equal to the item being delivered (e.g. Dishwasher for a dishwasher). ''
They also didn't give 24h notice for the delivery (they didn't give any notice). Customer service was rude and barely spoke any English.
I'm a very high contractor that make lots of business at Home Depot specially the one at Springfield Av in Newark NJ.
I being doing this for over 10 years, unfortunately this about to change because I have bad experience in this Newark Home Depot. The issue is one of the workers that always work on the forklift keep harassing my wife and not just her. This guy follows every single woman that show up in the store I saw this guy how he follow and look every lady including my wife.
I think this is very disrespectful and unprofessional.
Where are the managers nobody control that or say nothing to this guy. This guy name is Erick and he always in forklift pulling big orders for costumers. I wish someone finally take care of this situation because I did know that Home Depot allow employees to mess with customers and have no sense of manners or respect.
Other than the great lawn and garden department, it doesn't seem that Home depot has much to offer for the average home consumer. I wish that they would carry more home decor and outdoor funiture and drapery. Etc. I go into the store and come right back out because it seems like an overwhelming maze set up for contractors only.
My 93 year old mothers
Air conditioner went out last year it was a window unit it was a ******* btu it was under warranty so we took it back to home depot and it was like pulling teeth to get them to honor the warranty so they gave us an ******* btu now this one cuts off every hour and we have to go reset it home depot sent one of there a. C. people to her house and said the compressed was getting to hot and to put a mister hose on it with a timer this one is also under warranty plus an extended warranty. E are still fighting with them they had better hope this does not burn her house down for than ill own home depot she is staying with us till this is resolved they have till wed than in getting a lawyer
Great customer service, we bought all of our appliances for our 1st home here over a year ago. They have been great appliances. One of our homedepot stores had an employee who hacked into the database and collected recent credit card transactions and they called us as soon as they found out and told us to close our cards and get new ones. They handled it perfectly and I appreciate getting called about it.
Order kitchen cabinets nothing but problems with sizes they don't fit several calls to corporate everyone has a different answer cant speak to a corporate mgr supposedly the store makes all the decisions never heard you couldn't return a product so I'm stuck with 7000 dollars of kitchen cabinets that doesn't work all I want is my money back but they wont take cabinets back
Love this store it meets every need not just for your home but every thing you need garden spring cleaning and a lots more love to just browse around and shop customer service is awesome many kudos to HomeDepot
Their stores are so much fun! The employees are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I can spend hours there just walking the aisles, and every time I need to fix/repair/build/make something, there is someone at Home Depot to lend a hand. Fun store!
Dude came, hiked up the stove, left, wasn't level. Didn't tell my wife he couldn't push it back to the wall. Hauled out of there. Don't waist money. Not worth it. There not technicians. I hope he connected the gas lines properly. I'm terrified.
Their new machines that don't accept old hundred dollar bills would not take my hundred dollar bill and the manager said they could not take my money either. I clearly showed him that my money has the watermark, the strip inside and red and blue fibers. He said there was no way around it. Because their machines not working properly they would not take my money. Went to Lowe's and there machine takes my money. Had no problem at Lowe's. This manager at guide Meridian Home Depot was the worst experience I've ever had. I am a contractor and will take my business elsewhere.
Recently I did a huge total home project to get our house ready to sell. I was able to go online and order what I needed and pick it up with ease. (I could have had it delivered but my supplies were needed the next day and I picked them up at the store on the way to the house.)
Sometimes I was unsure how much or what sizes were needed, so I ordered more than I used. Returns were made easy too. It saved hours of walking all through this huge store and I will definately use this online service again.
I have not had any issue with shopping online with Homedepot.com, and the customer service was very good. I ordered online only available items and had them shipped directly to me with out a big issue. Just a little dirt on one item and hd took care of it right away. I was just a little mad that I did not get the best sale price on my item, I missed a huge sale by two days. Frequent visits to the site is necessary to keep up with sale prices. I have any good results ordering online and picking up items in store. Homedepot has been a go to site for my household needs, and I hope they keep up the good work.
I order an appliance package from them and schedule the delivery to be done two weeks later. They set a delivery time between 2 and 6. Well I call them at 5:30 and said that my delivery was still not here. They said it was on the truck and on the way. I check tracking again 5 minutes to 6 and the delivery date was changed to two day later when I was at work. I sold all of my old appliances and had no appliances thinking my new ones where going to be delivered. I call the manger of the store and he said there is nothing I can do that the delivery company will be contacting you. And I ask him why was the delivery date changed and he said I don't know why. He was rude and just didn't care. They don't even have there on delivery people like Lowe's does. So I highly recommend you not to use them. If they show a cheaper price just take it to Lowe's and they will beat it and delivery your stuff the next day. I will never shop at Home Depot again..
I bought a $229 microwave. Had to pay $60 for shipping and $125(?) for installation BUT I was ok with paying as much for delivery & installation as the product cost. I took the day off from work to wait for my 3 hour installation time. No one came. No one called. For 1.5 hours I was on the phone with GE, HD, warehouse, and third party installer. Everyone blamed everyone else. No one knows we're microwave is or when it will be installed. No one can call me once they figure it out BC they are a 'call in center only'. Horrible customer service. They have my money, my appliance, and I missed a day of work for nothing. #neverusehomedepot!
Visited Home Depot in Miami Lakes this past Monday, Aug 22 looking for an item. Not wanting to walk the entire store, I stopped and asked a young lady who was stocking goods in one of the aisles. She told me where to find said item and off I went in search of it. She then followed me to help me and when I could not find the item I was looking for, suggested alternatives. This is what customer service looks like! So I asked for her name to send public recognition of her service. Thank you Marie Darbouze (hope I got the spelling right)
My mother bought 6 appliances from homedepot.com. One came damaged. When we called to get it replaced we asked for another model instead, happy to pay any difference. The supervisor Michael from homedepot.com was very rude and not apologetic at all. They labeled this a "buyers remorse" and wouldn't take it back without a 15% restocking fee. They were very rude on the phone and not at all apologetic. They said the local store would pick up for free. When we called the store they also were very rude and said no they won't and to rent a truck and return it ourselves. Please check all new appliances very carefully and report within 48 hours. You expect that since you're buying new they would be in good condition but it is not the case a lot of the time.
So frustrating. This is my second order in the last month that was being shipped to a store for me to pick up. In both orders, the arrival at store dates changed multiple times. I didn't have a Father's Day gift in time because the promised date was missed, and it changed 4 times from the date it was ordered to the date it was delivered. My current order is now on the 3rd change of promise date. Their tracking information means nothing. What's really funny is it ships from a warehouse 60 miles away and can be here in a matter of hours. I think I'm done with working the way. If they don't have it at the store, i'll find it somewhere else. Ordering from HomeDepot.com is the worst.
Answer: Hi Betty, you can also return without receipt if you purchased using your credit card. Give them the same CC and they can tell the price you bought at.
