STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I bought a pair of glasses from them. They were supposed to be transitions but they barely darkened at all when in the sun. I reordered THEN sent back the defective pair. They would not apply the credit to the 2nd order, they would only give me store credit. Then I didn't use the credit of $373 in time so it expired. Stupidly, I ordered a 2nd pair because of the good price. I had to get a doctor's correction made to tweak the prescription. But, since it was outside of their 14 days window, they told me to get lost. Even though they had $373 of my money FOR NOTHING, they would not help me with a simple tweak of my prescription. I couldn't even get an appointment back at the doctor within 14 days. That's why they have a 14 day policy - to screw you out of any returns, changes or anything else that comes up. This is the worst company I've ever dealt with. Horrible! STAY AWAY!

Awful service

Purchased a pair of Persol prescription sunglasses. Online you can't tell how they will really look on your face. Didn't like them. No problem they will exchange... Now the fun starts, Send back frames and requested Ray Ban Wayfayer. Now waiting for 45 days, I can't track order. Chat desk keeps referring me to return desk who can only be reached by email. "They will email you in 2-3 days". Nothing/ nada! Horrible experience and I will never buy from them again

I order my eyeglasses two weeks ago. They were supposed to be produced in no more than 3 business days, but after two weeks my order status shows that the glasses are still "in producing". Never received any update in the past two weeks. I called the customer service last week, it seems no one knew what's going on with my order. I wish I have read the customer reviews here before I shopped on glassesUSA. I will contact them again tomorrow and see if I can cancel my order and get a refund. Do NOT shop there unless you want to have a very frustrating experience.

Worst Service Ever!

I ordered from them in May. I ordered a Prada frame and sent them the doctors prescription.
I got the glasses after around 2 weeks. This was a progressive lens, they got the measurements all wrong an I had to return it. Since then I have been trying to get them to send me the replacement pair with no luck. They sent me a message saying that my frame is out of stock and that I have to choose a replacement frame, which I did. They started asking me for extra information which I provided, then they asked me for more information which even the doctor doesn't have. Mind you that each and every communication I have to initiate and we leave it at the point where I am waiting for action from them only to return to find that they have done nothing! Today after around 10 weeks of nothing I finally had it with them after they told me, oops were sorry but your replacement frame is out of stock, choose another!
Wow! What a nightmare! And they are so cold! They just don't care. For there customers.
And when I finally said refund me, they simply said OK! Not even an attempt to make things right or even a decent heart felt apology, or here is a coupon for next time, please stay with us we want your business!
Nothing!
Maybe I had bad luck, or maybe they are just incompetent, I don't know.
Its up to you if you want to find out, personally I would stay away.

Be careful of reviews

I tried to post this on their site, but it wouldn't allow me to, probably due to not a great review. They seem to only post the better reviews.
I bought 1 pair and got one free. The pair I bought, that were premium were great. I did virtual try-ons for the other pairs. I did that 2x and neither pair seemed to look like it did on the website. I ordered the last pair and a week later they told me that it was out of stock, so I picked another pair, which were the Revel Calloway and took about a month to get to me. I The fit and look was good, however the frames are very cheaply made. The frame are flimsy and feel snappable. The lenses feel like they are slightly loose in the frame. Every time you clean the lenses the frames creak loudly. I took them in to an optician to get the frames checked out. She said "they are very loud", referring to the sound they make when she cleaned them. I tried to return them, but I guess there is a maximum 2x return, so now I'm stuck with glasses that are subpar. You may say you got them for free, but I could have used another company and probably spent the same amount for both anyways.
I also ordered contacts from the, but found out a few days later that they were out of stock and that they probably wouldn't be in for 1 1/2- 2 months. So I just cancelled that order.

I have placed two orders with glasses usa and the first pair came out great but it's the process of getting them that can be frustrating. Their timelines for when things are supposed to be done are lousy. It said my first pair would be done within 6 days and it was done in 9 and 2 days later it shipped. I got a tracking number from China which was not correct and my glasses showed up a few days later. Keep in mind that was expedited shipping that I had paid for. My second pair was supposed to be done In production within three days and it was done in 6. It was then sent to testing which was supposed to be done it 2-3 days at the most and it was there for 5 till I finally got a tracking number. My tracking number is for usps but it is moving through dhl very slowly and is saying usps is awaiting package without updating for days. If you want your glasses in a timely manner or want to be able to track them, order from somewhere else. I know things are delayed because of COVID but I would at least like to know what's going on and have a working tracking number.

My first order two years ago was great! On-time, quality great, and prescription was accurate. Apparently the coating that I ordered and paid extra for has a limited life. After two years with the glasses, the coating started chipping off of one of the lenses. I wasn't upset; I got two good years out of a reasonably priced pair of glasses. I reordered the same frames, lenses, prescription and got told 6 days to ship. Now 14 days later and I don't know when they are going to ship. I got a tracking number but when I tracked the glasses, they showed they were delivered to an address 6 states away from me. Went to online chat and got told I was given the wrong tracking number on their online site (that's clunky). Was given a different tracking number but when tracked the site returns information saying no such tracking number exists. Still hopeful they will show up and be correct but very disappointed in the experience this time. When I complained about the amount of time it took, the person on the chat says the "reviewed the time-frame and I am 100% that we meet the expected date." I'd shop around for an online site that gets better reviews. Clearly these folks aren't as good as they were two years ago.

They send many conflicting emails, which I cannot believe, because every one is a lie. Nothing they promise is followed through. Been waiting for weeks(just about a month or more) to receive my glasses, with emails from glasses USA telling me they are on the way, or telling me they are presently getting quality checked and will be on their way... I'm thoroughly disgusted and will be contacting my bank tomorrow to officially dispute this purchase and get my money back!

I am on my 6th week of waiting for my glasses. Now, I asking for my money back and I have to fill out a RMA for something I have not even received.
My order is several pairs and almost a thousand dollars talk about disappointment.

I ordered in the past and had good service but I would not this time and customer service was no help.

Huge regret

I purchased a pair of glasses on July 17th. Not too long ago, right? Well why on earth would they tell me that production takes 6 days? They are STILL in production. I get the same automated responses from their little chat helpers and it's all BS. After reading reviews on here and on twitter i can tell that reviews that are positive are fake and paid for. This website is fraudulent. Please be careful and i highly advise checking out eyebuydirect instead.

Way too long

1st pair was great. This time, month and a half after bad left lens, I'm getting my money back. I'll pay more local and get my glasses on about a week. By the time this place fixes your glasses it will be time for a new prescription

Terrible Service
August 1, 2020

Needed new glasses badly because cannot wear contacts for two months due to medical procedure. Received the glasses promptly., however it was the wrong frames and prescription. Followed return policy for exchange. It has been almost four weeks and no new glasses and no response. I have contacted customer service and all I get is it is being processed. I have purchased 3 times before with no issues. The service this time is terrible. I am out of the money and glasses. Will never order from Glassesusa again.

Worst Company!

I ordered a non-prescription sunglass on their site and it took them 10 days to respond to me regarding the status of my order. Unfortunately it has been another week now and no details of shipping. It is still "in process". It's a non-prescription glasses so what are they processing? They should be honest enough to say they are out of stock so consumers have the option to proceed with their orders or not. I should have just bought it at Macy's.

Very Dissapointed

I ordered a pair of glasses on July 11,2020. They site said the lead time would put them in my hands by 7/27/2020. As of right now, I have no idea when I will get them. The tracking info they send me shows 27 shipments on it, all to a location other than mine. Customer support was zero help. Needless to say, if and when they arrive, I will be sending them back for a full refund. My recommendation is to buy from a local optometrist. It may cost extra but at least you will get your order.

I have never had such a horrible experience with a company. Going on a month of no glasses, or even an eta as to when I could expect them. I understand with the state of the world's goings ons, things may be delayed. This, however, seems grossly outside the parameters of acceptable even taking that into account. They seem to hold all shipping information National Treasure style, unable to access any sort of tracking number. I keep getting the run around from what they keep saying are customer service representatives, but I find it highly suspect, as I have yet to receive any customer service. In the meantime, I'll just be blindly bumping into the walls of my apartment with the words of every auto reply email playing over and over in my mind to the point of madness. I keep trying to think of a more turd of a company, but alas, one escapes me. So go ahead, shoot me your best generic response, GlassesUSA. Tell me you care about my experience, my blind woes, my frustration. Tell me that someone will be reaching out shortly, I'll be waiting.

If i could rate them in the negative, I would! They are the worst. I gave them a second chance after cancelling my first order for poor service and not receiving my glasses at the promised time. So I just ordered sunglasses. They had all kinds of bogus issues, now i get an email saying the frame is out of stock after having the order for over a month. I cannot say this strong enough... THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY EVER! Do not deal with this non-US company.

Ordered 2 pairs of glasses with prescriptions and one of them was sunglasses. They just sent me email after email after email. Not in stock not in stock not in stock. I spoke to them. A few times and they said I'm sorry they are put of stock. Then put it on there. 4 weeks now and still couldnt get it right. I cancelled after that and got a refund. If they cant get it right in 4 weeks I dont want anything from. This company. Order from lensdirect. They were awesome. Got them.in 11 days. And they have great customer service... glasses USA is horrible!

I attempted to return my glasses within the 14 days period. When i typed in my order number on the RMA page it says the my order has not been updated yet. I went back and forth over customer service chat and email and i got the same results. Then when the order history finally updates it tells me that I'm outside of my return time frame. They just scammed me into keeping some glasses by prolonging my order status until the 14 day period is over. Their not even the right prescription!

May 6,2020 I ordered my prescription glasses (premium progressive). Received glasses a month later and was unable to see out of them at all. Sent them back immediately asking for correct lenses to be put in. After two months I am still being messed about. First okay we will take care of it your satisfaction is important to us, to they will make new glasses and donate the returned ones, then I was sent a link to print out a little strip of paper to measure my eyes, sent them the numbers, then was told, oh we cannot make those lenses in those glasses. I have chatted with over 5 different agents!
From the time of order to today it has been 3 months. After being told this, I asked for a refund so I can go to a optometrist to get an official measurement and get glasses that are just right. Glassesusa refuses a refund stating they don't refund exchanges! I don't want an exchange! I wanted correct lenses! I borrowed money to get glasses I desperately need and I am being told no refund! Horrible service and an unkind refund policy. I do not trust this company at all. Be careful.

Very poor customer service and follow through. Ordered two pairs of glasses. One was a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses that I got in about 2-1/2 weeks. The other were a pair that were more of an everyday type. After 4 weeks I was told that they could not be made with the anti-fog coating I had ordered. They offered to make the glasses without the anti-fog coating. I requested a refund for that pair. I followed up a week later to make sure the refund would be processed and that they would not produce the glasses. Was told I would receive an email in 2 to 3 days confirming my request. A week later I checked again since I had not received the promised email, and I was told they same thing. The customer service rep could not give me any information as to where my refund sat, or even if it was going to be issued. Didn't even confirm that they had received my refund request.
Good customer service is how you gain a customer's trust and loyalty, GlassesUSA has not earned mine.
