Just had the worst customer experience of our lives with cashier, Travis Pham. Walked up to the cashier with a software program and he just glared us. Not stared, glared. We handed him the software and asked to price match it with Amazon. He actually "huffed" at us and stalked away. Five minutes later he came back, didn't say a walked away, did this several more times, never speaking to us. Finally his chin in his hand and started at the computer looking bored, NEVER SPEAKING TO US. We stared at him for a while and then asked if perhaps he was waiting for a manager. He angrily told us Yes, this required a supervisor and he was just a merchandiser. He still never looked at us and didn't speak again. He got up and walked away again and 10 minutes later, when he still hadn't come back, we decided to leave. Clearly, he didn't want to check us out. Will never enter this Fry's again for anything. Headed on over to best buy, had a delightful transaction with a lovely lady that took all of less than 2 minutes, to check us out, smile at us, make some small talk and price match and we were out the door. Stay away from FRYS!
Who just doesn't love Fry's electronics? Great return policy and cheap taiwanese knock offs for almost every electronic item out there makes this the place to shop. Forget overpaying at...
After telling a sales person what I needed a new computer for the sales tech recommended a HP computer and microsoft up grade to the operating program. After spending 21/2 hours with a microsoft tech the program couldn't be loaded onto the computer according to the microsoft tech. When I took it back to FRY'S ELECTRONICS on I-45 in Houston where I was told to buy it, one of the manager told me all I needed to do is buy a external dvd unit to down load the program. The manager also told me no refunds on opened programs even though Fry's personel told me I could use the codes to down load on line. It cost me $135 but Fry's will lose a lot more than that in potential profit. I'll not only bad mouth FRY'S every chance I get, I'll never darken the doors of FRY'S ELECTRONICS again.
I purchased a X-Box One S Bundle with Battlefied V online. Part of the reason was they offered free same day delivery. I was supposed to receive a confirmation email within 20 minutes, but never did. 6 hours later, I sent an email stating I never received a confirmation email and it was now 6 hours later. 30 minutes later, I get an email that my order had been cancelled.
Contacted the store the next day and was told this was a Black Friday ad that was released early and they wouldn't deliver it, even though it stated right in the ad that there was free delivery. I had to come in the store and pick it up. I told them I still wanted it and asked them if they would hold it for me. Flat out told me no, he couldn't do that. I was flabergasted at the total disregard for what they advertised and that they wouldn't do anything to take care of me. This isn't the first time I have had a terrible experience with these guys and would warn everybody that this company doesn't stick behind there advertising and could care less what we want.
It makes no sense that you have to pay for return shipping for a defective item. I will never be doing business there again.
The 4100 Northgate, Sacramento store is a dump. Managers have tons of excuses on under stocked shelves and doesn't seem to care if you buy or NOT, super poor service. This is like the 3rd time I have the same issue with this place. Dec 7,2015 I drove 30 minutes to the store trying to pick up 10 100 pack Verbatim DVD-r blanks for $12.99 with dumb code(mental games). After 1 day of advertising they claimed all out of stock and suggested I drive another 30 minutes to another store because they still have 61 100packs. WOW?! That's a bigger store and way more customers and they still have 61 left and this dump have 0? Only an idiot would believe that. I've wasted another 1 hour or so waiting for his approval and the manager finally said he will sell me 5 and claimed there's a limit but the ad on their wall posted no such thing and online ad to my E-mail have no such claim. The manager was just being an... and was ego tripping. These dumb managers seem to doesn't care about making money for the company. Assistant manager name( Robert B) and the store manager Arnold J and I even talked to the district manager name Alireza same bogus results, they seem to cover up for each other with work well done just like the SFPD. Stay very clear away from this place they usually sells 2nd class refurbished electronics.
Place an order 10 days ago, and it is still in process today. This is a dinosaur of online shopping. Go to Amazon!
Its my goto place for emergency electronics. Never been disappointed. If I am I just return it, the people are very nice.
The customer service operators are very rude and have a lot of attitude. They orders are not deliver on time.
These guys are pro scammers! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
This was my first and last experience with them. I ordered a set of speakers on sale in July 2019. They cancelled the one speaker 12 hours later and next day I received a call regarding the one speaker (I ordered a set for a reason!) and they told me that it is used and has a chip on the base. I agreed to receive it ONLY after receiving an extra discount AND after ensuring I would get another demo unit from another store. Not only did I not receive a discount, the other store's customer service NEVER returned my calls and follow up on their promise and I ended up receiving a DAMAGED USED (more than they claimed) speaker missing the grill as well! They did the exact same with another order placed in the meanwhile for a set of Klipsch bookself speakers. They took the order online and then called later in the day to say they have to cancel it because the items are used and NOT in working condition. They told me to go get them at another store, they should be available somewhere. Absolutely HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Now they will not refund the order because it was delivered while I was gone and I did not report it within 48hrs. Of course they claim to have everything sold out and the advice was to wait for another even at some point in the future. If you value your $ and your time AVOID these people at all costs. It is NOT worth it. Very disrespectful towards consumers.
There is option on the phone customer support. But when you call you will hold for hours to be connected with a live support.
I placed an order and it took so much time to get to me. I'd rather use other sghopping stores, online than frys. Please improve your services.
I'm an electronics junkie and like browsing new items as well as trying them out. They have good sales people and great bargains.
Good variety of hard to find electronic accessories and computer parts. One stop shopping for all types of electronics for a reasonable price.
Fry's is all around awful. I went online looking for a good deal on a sound bar for my new 4K TV because the sound wasn't projecting very well from the TV alone. I found one on frys that seemed like it would do the job, it was a NAXA 37" sound bar for $40. I ordered the item and it arrived after about a week, when I opened the box and began to read the manual, I realized that the charging cord for the sound bar was missing, meaning I had no way of powering this item. There is no way that I "misplaced the cord" as multiple frys customer service employees began to tell me, yet they still would not help me and provide me with a new cord. This was false advertisement, the item said that it would come with an AC/DC adapter (the power cord), and that is not what I got. When I called frys customer support, I received TERRIBLE service, they did not care about my issue and assumed I was wrong or lying somehow. They simply redirected me to NAXA customer service, which, might I add, is also ridiculously awful. I have no idea how these companies are still in business. They do not provide the customer with what they are promised, and when you come to them with an issue they shrug it off and tell you to go bother the company which provided the item, not them. Both Naxa and frys are terrible companies and I HIGHLY recommend that you never buy products from either one of these companies. Terrible customer support, no care at all for the individual who buys their product, and no intent or will to actually help the customer with their issues.
Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Went in looking for very specific parts and they helped me find exactly what I needed quickly
I bought a Soleus FE2-12BA ******* BTU A/C. The sign on it said it would work in a room that is 450sf -550st i put it in a room that is 155 sf it doesn't do anything unless you sit right in front on it. It is way to week to cool a even 155sf. I brought it back to the store and they refused to exchange the unit because they could feel cold air blowing out. They said the unit would have to be defective to exchange it. I the unit doesn't preform as advertised wouldn't that be considered defective. The manager Sam Mikeuc said the best he could do is give me 50% off a second unit! This store is a ripoff they don't back the products they sell or honor their own policies the will change it as they see fit! I wouldn't buy anything from these scam artist and their customer service suck too!
So I went to the Fry's in Downers Grove IL to buy a Samsung Galaxy note 4 that their website said that they had on sale for 350 dollars. When I arrived at the store I was told that the last unit was sold hours before. Even though the website said that they had multiple units in stock at that specific store. I was told that the website would be corrected that night. So I started looking at the galaxy s5 for $259. I found the item at sears for $186 dollars significantly cheaper. It was the exact same unit but freedom pop was the carrier. It was an unlocked GSM cellphone. They told me that they would not price match because even though sears was a recognized retailer freedom pop was not. Freedom pop was not selling the phone sears was. At this point I should have left the store but Downers Grove is an hour from Chicago and I needed a phone. So I began to look at the moto x a Motorola phone. It was $299. Again I Find it for less this time at best buy for $279. Same story the guy says that it is a different unit. So I double and triple checked it was the same unit, but I assumed that these guys knew what they were talking about, they work in the cell phone department at an electronics store so I bought the unit. I immediately went to best buy to compare products. It was the same exact phone. I figured I would let cooler heads prevail and wait till morning to go back. So first thing the next morning I check the website to see if they changed the website to reflect their inventory. The website said that had at least one white and one black unit available. I get to the store and go straight to the customer services department, but this time I'm ready. I show them a photo taken with the moto x that they had sold me of a best buy employee smiling and holding the moto x box that best buy was selling pointing to the PRICE AND MODEL NUMBER proving that they were selling it for twenty dollars less. They still checked and rechecked but in the end refunded my twenty dollars, but not the gas money it took me to drive back and forth twice. What did I learn from this? Never trust the website they want you to see that price and run to the store. Call first and check! And if you want that price matched be ready for a fight!
A lot of fun electronic I have found on fry's. I have become addicted to daily check on this website about new stuff:-P
Answer: I used to shop at Fry's when I was in the United States and I now live in China and have actually visited a factory where some of the Beats products are manufactured. Fry's products are all genuine products. During my 5+ years of shopping at Fry's, they have always given me excellent service and refunded my purchase price if ever I needed to make a return. If want FAKE products then try a famous auction web site, some no-name web sites with lots of bad English grammar and too-good-to-be-true prices shipped from Asia. Alternatively, you could book a flight to Shenzhen, China and I could introduce you to many Beats counterfeits. Fry's is a great place to shop and I highly recommend them for good price and quality products. I hope you enjoy your new Beats headphones when you finally get them.
Answer: Do not get anything from them! Horrible experience
Answer: Yes, common over bro

Answer: MANY SCAMMERS ON THE INTERNET FROM FRYS COMPANY USE WHATSAPP AND SCAMAINMNG HI There, my name's Atef. I live in Dubai, UAE. I have contacted with a girl pretending that she is a sales manager at frys electronics company in Californaia, USA.
