This store doesn't seem to know what they are doing! I pre orderd a product and it is not until the very day of the release that they realize they didn't order enough of the product to fulfill the orders that were placed two months in advance! Your lack of seriousness and costumer commitment completely sucks!

Stay away!

Stay away! Never buy there! After I placed the order I got an email stating that my stuff out of stock.! And I need to wait 30 days till they full fill it. But the same item was continiously selling at the website no problem! Customer servise doesnt know whats going on, they like from the other planet. So after two weeks of waiting I just cancelled my order. Now I'm worry that somebody will use my credit card as some people say. Terrible!

I bought a motherboard for my new Intel processor, when I took it out of the box it looked used. I still tried to use it as I did not want to return it if it worked
But upon testing i found out that the socket on the board was damaged
When I tried to return it they refused to take it back. I was out 100 bucks
I had to buy a new one and pay extra 100 dollars. This was the worst experiece, I had spent thousands of dollars in that store over the years and I will never go back again.
Their customer service is horrible.

I would NOT recommend buying anything from Frys store in WEBSTER, Texas. I purchased a 50 inch LG tv a little over a year ago and had an issue with the TV. I also bought the extended warranty with the TV and took it to the store to see if they would fix the TV. After one week I had to call the store to see what the issue was. Come to find out the manager tells me its unrepairable due to moisture damage around to coax port thats not even used. But they would refund me $12.00 for my $599 tv and the $99 dollar warranty I purchase. I would highly recommend purchasing from Best Buy. Their Customer service is very poor and seems like they could careless.

False Advertising
July 30, 2016

Samsung was offering a great deal on a nice TV ($10k!). Couldn't pick up in store anywhere though. I reviewed all kinds of sites, like Best Buy and even Samsung direct. I purchased through Frye's because their website said the TV would ship "next business day." I ordered June 24 and got the confirmation email on June 24. It is July 30, and still no TV. I was ok with a couple weeks, no big deal though. I called and they gave me the proverbial run around. Said it would go out the next Monday (July 11). Guess not. They said they would credit me $100; they did not do that either. My issue is the misleading and false advertising about shipping "next business day." They get consumers to buy through them on the false belief Frye's will ship faster and the consumer (like me) will get their product quicker by using Fryes over other retailers.

Very pleased, still
March 12, 2015

Just about two years since I bought these from Amazon.

Matched them with a Harman Kardon AVR 145 and wow. This was a team. I have heard many tower speakers from different family and friends, and of course from Best Buy and the like. These speakers can handle a lot of sound and keep clean without distortion.

I love their store and their web site. I always seem to find the lowest prices with Frys. I have had a few problems with items and they always give me a credit towards another purchase. Their sevice network is also good. I recommend Frys.

I ordered merchandise from Frys.com on Dec. 1,2014. The product was supposed to be delivered Dec. 26. According to the web site, it wasnt backordered, just had an "in process" status for over a month. I am usually pretty patient about this sort of thing, but I dont like it when they say a product is delievered, when it isnt even shipped.
I think perhaps this will be the last time I order something from Frys.com

Ordered a home subwoofer from frys.com and the same day I received it, I noticed the auto on/off wasn't functioning. It wouldn't turn off like it is supposed to. Contacted frys.com customer service and explained the issue. I was promptly asked if I had contacted the manufacturer. When I said no, she said that's what I had to do. Long story short, they refused to accept the return unless I paid to ship it back to them, which would be costly to ship a heavy item. So if you are buying a heavy/large electronics items, beware, as frys.com will make you pay return shipping or deal with the manufacturer. No way I'll make another purchase from them when other online retailers like Amazon and Newegg are FAR better.

Avoid any purchases at Fry's! We purchased a lage screen LG TV on Thursday, we set it up and plugged it in on Sunday and the screen was totally damaged. We immediately took it back and they refused to do anything. No exchange, replacement, no refund, they told us we needed to contact LG for the warranty. When we first bright it in, they said they would replace it no problem, and after waiting about 15 min the customer service person td us they couldn't do amything for us. We then spoke to the manager and she told us the same thing! This was at the San Marcos CA store. I will never do business there again!

Frys.com is the best computer online store sales. I am ordered apple computer from this site. And that computer delivered quickly. Ordering process is very easy for this site. This site provides a complete description for that. They were giving trustful information’s for all the products. That was a good experience with this site.

Won; t refund malfunctioning Xbox One after 15 days of use. Hardware freezes playing offline solo games like Just Cause 3. Won; t refund but will exchange, except there is no date for a new shipment of consoles that they unloaded and do not plan to restock. GARBAGE customer service and GARBAGE 30 day return policy,

Terrible delivery service
December 19, 2021

I finally had to write something because today was the final straw. I placed an order online for delivery. This was at 9am. I requested 2 hr delivery because I had plans with some of the items. The delivery did not come until after 3pm. Three items were missing. I checked my order online and those 3 items had disappeared BUT they showed up on a list of not delivered items. Well 2 of them did, the third one was gone all together. The delivery person did not bother to text me to let me know items were not available and did not offer replacement items. Nor did she offer an explanation why my order came over 6 hrs after I placed the order which I requested within 2 hrs.The online customer care person debated back and forth with me about items not being on my original order even when I made a copy of what I saw on the list of non delivered items and pasted this into the chat. Another time my entire order was delivered to the wrong address and I my fiance and I spent a lot of time with Frys and with insta cart on the phone. One blamed the other and vice versa. Finally I was granted a refund plus extra for the inconvenience. Two other times I ordered each, one vine with tomatoes. The website says 1 vine would have 4 to 5 tomatoes. So ordering 1 vine I expected 4 to 5 tomatoes. Each of the two times I received 1 tomato not one vine with the 4 to 5 tomatoes. I have had more than enough issues with Frys delivery and I am done with them. Absolutely terrible.

I ordered a toy a few weeks before Christmas. The site said it was in stock. A day later I received an email stating that it wasn't in stock anymore. It said nothing about "backfilling." So over a month later I get an email that it shipped! I emailed back stating that I didn't want it but they said too bad I just have to return it. The return instructions instructs to call OR to email for an R/A #. I emailed but no, that's incorrect, you have to call and sit on hold for 30 minutes. I got the R/A # and the snooty guy told me I have to buy my own shipping label to send it back. When they screwed up in the first place? And now I have to waste my time and trek to a shipping store with this huge bulky toy. I have never encountered service like this. Any other website would have either cancelled the shipment or supplied the label. Ridiculous. Shame on them.

I thought I had gotten a really good deal, but shortly found out why.
I had ordered a movie on December 18th, 2016 and it said that it would arrive on January 10th of 2017. I thought that was a long time, but figured I was getting a good price, so It was okay. I waited patiently for January 10th to arrive and did not receive anything. When I checked online to track my order, it said that it had been cancelled. I called and after being on hold for 10 minutes and then again for another 10 minutes, they told me that I would have to reorder for a higher price. It was just very frustrating because I just wanted my movie. I would not recommend this site to anyone.

I placed an order with Frys.com and after not receiving confirmation of shipping I forgot about it. This morning I received an email informing it shipped (1 of 4 items) and called to see what the current expected delivery date will be. I talked with a RUDE cs rep who got irritated by me asking a few questions. Some items have rebates and those need to be mailed soon. And as I was asking about the delivery date I was told they are currently collecting the items to ship... but I cannot cancel order at this time. BUT THEY HAVEN"T SHIPPED YET! So it looks like I will receive the items in ~5-10 business days to then request a return... for items that have NOT SHIPPED yet but cannot be cancelled!

Ordered online for pickup and found I must pick up on black friday. Get to the store and find I must get in line with the store shoppers. A 4 hour line according to people near the front AND I heard a pickup conversation... after 3 hours in line the order hadn't been picked and wasn't going to be complete!

Store pickup a joke
April 17, 2015

I put up a credit card for a store pick up and they had restocked it already when I went to pick it up. Lupe Chavez made four stops at three computers and couldn't walk over to the cage that had the part I wanted. The store manager was tied up with other pissed off customers. The floor clerks were hiding by the motherboards to avoid helping real customers. I couldn't get help with buying a laptop. Way to go manager, I bought the sd chip and a laptop on the way home. (&%% off.

Bought a 65" QLED Samsung TV from Frys website and had it delivered. Upon turning it on there is a 3" crack in the screen at the top. Called Frys right away and they said i have to bring it back to the store for a manager to look at it. Took it to City of Industry store and the manager said i must have damaged it and nothing he could do about it. Theres no way I damaged it and now Im stuck with a cracked screen. Nect step is small claims court.

Waste of time!

I drove there this morning to buy a Samsung UN43NU6900 43" TV. It was in an ad for today only, in store only for $299.99 with code *******. They said they had one but "couldn't" find it when they went to look for it. Meanwhile, while waiting, I heard one of the salesmen tell the other he wanted one to take home. I could understand if they only had one left and the salesman wanted to buy it himself, but I don't like being lied to. Asked to se a manager and was told I would have to go up front. There was none in office and I was told I'd have to wait in the return line. I gave up. Very disappointed...
