Disappointing

I used to be happy with their products and purchased quite a lot. The quality has deteriorated significantly. My last two orders were the clinchers, though: a chrome stylized steer with horns head that didn't have the proportions of the picture and came with a scratch across its face, then sheets that were so badly sewn it looked like the maker didn't even understand how a pillowcase was hemmed or a sheet correctly edged. A battle ensued when I tried to return, as I didn't think I should have to pay postage BOTH ways for sheets that were horribly made. Finally got a return label from them, but I'm unsubscribing - no reason to get such a hassle when there are lots of excellent options out there!

Terrible customer service! I wish I'd reviewed customer ratings before ordering. I made an honest mistake when quickly ordering from my iphone, and missed some fine print. I pleaded with them to make the return, and they gave zero consideration. So glad it wasn't a high-dollar item. We're preparing to build, and I'll look elsewhere for interior décor.

Loved the web-site and the item that I bought. If I had known that by ordering from the site that I would start getting 2-3 (buy more) E-mails a day from them I would not have ordered. Thank god the mail is electronic and not paper, other wise I'm sure they'd be clearing whole forest on a weekly basis. Fitz

Never again!

Buyers beware! Worst customer service I have ever experienced. The only way to get a human to speak to is to follow the prompts for placing an order, The D&B # is *******937, for all you who cant find it. If you do order you better be sure you really want the item b/c if you call one second after the 24 hour deadline to cancel, you've got a fight on your hands! It will also take week, sometimes months for your item to arrive. I was lucky I got my $ refunded but it took many calls and emails and quite frankly I had to threaten to sue. I would look elsewhere. I found the same product at Wayfair for a litlle more but zero hassle... just sayin!

Horrible!

I ordered a light for my nursery two weeks ago and was promised a delivery date between June 30th - July 7th, which has passed and item still hasn't shipped. Customer Service reps have no knowledge of anything, keep saying they need to contact "operations" and get back to me. The lamp is now out of stock so I'm sure IF they do get back to me, they're going to delay the delivery. Don't sell items you don't have! Don't pretend to be a legit retailer when you're a joke. And they charge for delivery. Low class site, don't shop here. You'll end up being charged for items they've already sold to others and lied to.

We did have these in stock when your order was placed, but our system did not catch that it had been back ordered and the stock went out to orders placed before you. Our engineering team is working hard on upgrading them and issues like these should not be occurring in the future.

Due to this less than ideal experience, we've processed a refund in full for the Sphere Pendant Lamp as well as a credit towards a future purchase as a sincere apology. We hope this credit will help us provide a night/day experience on a future order if you ever decide to give us another shot.

My order was 4 boxes that were reported to have been delivered on the 16th. I only got 3 so I called customer service. The wonderful "Joy" took my issue to operations to try to track down another chair while customer service worked to track down the fourth one, which was finally delivered the afternoon of the 16th. When I called to let dot & bo know that the chair had arrived, I got the same customer service person who had just been checking on my issue and remembered me. Thanks for having real people.

They made me wait two weeks to let me know that they couldn't fulfill the order because they didn't have enough inventory. What is that? They obviously had a shipping container coming over, and knew how many pieces they had in advance. I bought it through facebook, so maybe they decided to sell more of them direct and not pay facebook a commission, or however that works. I just know that in the end, I sat excitedly awaiting my new desk chair, and now have to start all over again. I'd never order from these people again, and you shouldn't either.

I ordered a wooden coffee table that was delivered in early July. After about a month the solid walnut table developed a white haze in several areas. I had a furniture repair person take a look at it while they were at my house to repair my sofa. The guy told me that this is most likely the result of moisture that was trapped in the wood under the finish. I emailed with Gennavieve from Dot and Bo to see about receiving a refund for the table even though it was outside of the 30 day return policy. I was offered a small credit to my account for a future order. How can Dot and Bo not stand by the quality of their products. It's not like I simply changed my mind outside of the 30 days. The product was defective. Beware of purchasing from them. They do not stand behind their product.

This table is a best seller and we haven’t encountered any previous issues like this before. The table was delivered on 05/27/15 and we received your note on 08/26/15. HORRIBLE!

HORRIBLE! I'll never order from them again. I ordered a phone case and after a month of no shipping notification email or delivery, I contacted them. The representative emailed me back and asked if I wanted to cancel the order to which I replied that I did. Next thing I get an email saying the item had shipped and the it wasn't eligible for a return or cancellation. Totally shady! I'll never order anything from them again!

I was looking for a safe alternative to candles. These fit the bill perfectly! Plus they add a little extra interest as well... The only negative I can think of was that the battery case was a little hard to open, but that didn't affect the product's performance.

Bait and Switch

Do NOT order product from this company. The product that I ordered did not arrive looking anything like the picture. I then tried to return it and there is virtually no number to call this company. You have to communicate strictly via email. I was told via email that my product could not be returned because it was a sale item! I now have over $100.00 of junk that I can't use and I can't return. I highly doubt that this is even a legit business. Probably running out of someone's garage!

I have placed 3 orders, I have gotten two of them and am so happy with them, The quality of the items is even better than I thought they would be. I do not think their is anything you can not find on the sight. Well you can not find cell phones lol

Bought a lamp that I received very quickly but it was shattered on arrival. I immediately emailed with photos- still NO REPLY. Called & left messages, NO REPLY. If you are overwhelmed with orders & growing quickly- hire someone! Wish I had read reviews before placing an order...

The worst.

I ordered a coatrack that was expected to arrive in the last week of july, no later than july 30. A week and a half after july 30 i reached out and their rep told me that they had no idea where the item was. They've finally agreed to ship it, but i think if i had not reminded them, my item would have never arrived. Disaster.

I've purchased 5 items from Dot & Bo. A wall clock, a side table, a lamp & 2 large cabinets. I'm extremely pleased with all my purchases. I don't see what Dot & Bo could do better. Delivery times for items for items are reasonable and I'm very pleased with what I've received so far!

This company is a joke

This company is a joke. I have placed 2 orders with them. The first order, I was told 2 weeks after the order that oops, we actually are sold out of that item. But they gave me a $10 credit plus a full refund. Redeemed... for now. 2nd order, placed in August, ordered in part with the credit... I get notice that the stock of my order was running low, which was the same situation as the first, so I reached out proactively and what do you know - while I was told they could get it, it was back ordered until the first week of September. Back and forth and it's now October 16th... and I don't have the order nor a shipping confirmation. This company has no clue how to run a business and should shut down.
