The company does not seem to have any link with companies they supposedly represent. I ordered from Dooney &Bourke and two weeks in, my order through Borderfree is still pending. I want to cancel my order and I still have to find on their website if I can do this.
If I could not give any start, I would do it. I did a purchase in December to be delivery in 20 days through Borderfree, and I received in 40 days. Always with excuses. Unfortunately I needed to return one of the items, and It's been a month since they received the product back, and no refund to my credit card. I call them couple times and they always say, I am going to receive in 3-4 business day, but it's nothing. I will never going to purchase anything anymore with them, if they don't work well, and they don't really care about the customer service, I don't wanna never face anything like this with online shopping anymore.
I have ordered something from the store in the UK to be delivered in Croatia, and they have actually lost my package. I frequently shop online and never have something like this happen before. I will definitely avoid all online stores that use Borderfree as a courier.
Make an online purchase. Get charged a pre-authorisation of $350. Then get an email saying clothes on the way. 4 days later I check my account - Borderfree have charged me again. Emptied my account in the process of moving home from overseas. Couldn't afford my cab to airport - miss my flight. They email me telling me they're trying to charge my card and my goods won't ship until they do. I called customer service. She told me to pay and send the items back for a refund. I refused and she (Katherine Herrera) hung up on me. I have $700 in charges for a $350 order - with 1 of 4 pieces in transit. Bank won't release the authorisation. Borderfree want their money and won't refund me the second payment, or send the goods or release the pre-authorisation.
This has been the most awful experience online - Do not use Borderfree. DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER IT.
Ordered item to be sent to UK from Macy's. No communication from either Borderfree or Macy's. Abysmal customer service, just went round in circles. Had to cancel, after one week, after paying for express delivery
Takes weeks to ship out, takes long time to receive. The tracking is faulty and often does not show up. I hate that many brands I like (Carters, Janie and Jack, Loft...) started using this service. :( It is expensive, slow and very bad service. I hope brands using this service will listen to their international customers and stay away from this horrible horrible service.
They charge you when you are not supposed to be charged total rip off. My order was to replace damaged goods but they are charging me the full price. The Container Store won't help me and that is where I purchased the items from. They are complete rip offs.
I made a few orders on target via borderfree.
Borderfree canceled most of my orders due an overload of orders in a free shipping promotion.
In addition I had 2 pending orders:
1. Was marked as shipped, when I checked with DHL, they didn't received the item at all.
2. After 10 days of waiting still not shipped.
I seriously lost any trust in them and canceled the pending orders.
Avoid, very bad experience.
Ordered a very expensive purse from this website got several email saying that that was there was a problem with my order but then it would be fulfilled. My last email says that Dooney and Bourke cancelled my order. I'm so outraged.
I know you worked for a company that sells to the public on line enter tradeshows. This service that I received was deplorable
This company is a scam. They hold my money since August 2017. They have canceled shipments and 'Partially Shipped' items that have never been shipped in reality. They promise refunds and lie for months.
I would advise to avoid them no matter what SALE they have.
I ordered a Patagonia bag to be sent to Thailand from eBags. This was the first time using the Borderfree service. Initially, aside from the initial receipt of order by ebags there was no communication for about 6 days. Then I was notified that it was shipped to Borderfree. Once at at their facility I was given constant updates via DHL tracker. The bag arrived ahead of time by a couple of days. I would use the service again. Aside from the initial quiet time everything was processed smoothly...I will use them again.
Bad experience
I ordered Bebe.com dress and unfortunately the dress was too small for me and I had to return it. The price was around 120$ with taxes and shipping fees. ( I am European customer). When I contacted Borderfree.com their customer service told me to ship the dress via DHL but I will pay for the return shipping (around 100$) so I decide to send it back in my arrangement.
To cut the long story short, the dress is at Borderfree and I will receive the refund of less then 20$. Why? I don't know. There is no explanation. Where is the money gone? I also don't know but I know I will never buy from U.S. store that uses Borderfree ever again!
My package was late for weeks, try to contact customer service, no one response back to me! I am still waiting for my package, they just send me a useless link to a web, and that's it! I will never buy anything from this web again!
Ordered a tracksuit from Juicy Couture and only when I got a confirmation email I got to know that my parcel will be shipped to me through Borderfree. I ordered in November (paying 170 pounds) and still haven't received anything! I asked for my money back but was told that they need their parcel back first even though they knew that it got lost somewhere and I have not received it. Its been more that 6 months! No clothes, no money. The worst experience ever! DO NOT RECOMMEND!
I ordered from Rebecca Minkoff and the international orders are handled through borderfree. I waited 4 weeks for my order and I heard nothing, I tracked my order and the status was 'Fully Shipped'. I then attempted to contact customer service and I eventually got through to boarder free. They then updated me on the status, which was 'lost', they did offer me a full refund however. I am very disappointed with this service and will avoid it at all costs.
I have received my order from DXL through Borderfree and the sizes were not correct. Since then I have been trying to get instructions from Borderfree on how to return this order. For 10 days and several back and forth emails, Im still waiting for the instructions, how hard can it be to tell me where to send the order?
I will never again buy from an store that is delivered or have to be returned by Borderfree.

They take their sweet time to ship you stuff, however when it comes to the returns then they charge their customers with next day delivery. Ordered 6 items from Ann Taylor revived it in 3 different packages within 3 week time frame. I honestly forgot about stuff I ordered as I received last piece of my order after 3 1/2 weeks (almost a month).
Never shopping with Ann Taylor (they are bunch of idiots to when it comes to customer service) and/or company using Boderfree services. Save your time, energy and money. SHOP LOCAL.
Called Macy's still waiting after 14days. I have all the "tracking" numbers with no items found. Contacted Macy's only to be told they will investigate…. All while I received no follow up no contact information and no resolution. Never ever again! I will be contacting Visa for my refund. Total hassle
This is the worst shipping company I know. I ordered two times with Dr. Martens shoes. First time it took almost a month to arrive to Mexico. Now I am waiting with a supposed December 11 arrival and when I contact them the told it´s going to be a longer waiting period. As I told them: Next time AMAZON.
I purchased from the Uk two dresses and returned one to exchange sizes. They then processed a refund for me this was back in August. Club Monaco claim the fund has been made to my original payment card but to date November 14th I have still not received my refund. Numerous e mails to Club Monaco customer assistance they have told me a Borderfree representative will call with 24hrs thats was 6 days ago. Totally frustrated and now and would not recommend purchasing from Borderfree.
