I ordered clothing from Australia. In the past DHL has delivered my products from this particular company and has shipped them direct from Australia to the US. I received those items within 4 or 5 days. Amazingly fast. I used Borderfree this time. My items have gone all around the world for some reason - to Singapore and now Dubai. Seventeen (17) days have passed since I placed my order and my order is still in Dubai. Ridiculously slow. I will never willingly use this service again. Never.
I bought a whole lot of underwear believing I was buying directly from a US store. Half of the items didn't fit so I had to return them. I returned them but they charge me $38! In other words, much more than the postage. They never wanted me about this charge, which in the country I'm from is actually illegal. I will NEVER be using them again. This site is a scam.
I had a very good experience with borderfree. One shipment came earlier than expected another shipment was a bit late but customer service always replied on the spot and was helpful and informative.
Shockingly bad customer service. I ordered something from Bloomingdal's through them on 26 November. Order acknowledged never delivered. Chased and got an auto reply saying I'd get a response in 24 hours. Chase again. Told order cancelled. No explanation. Chase again saying I want to complain. Get a response saying the order was cancelled because they messed up the processing somehow and I should order again. The item is no longer listed as available (which I suspect was the real problem). No response to my request to file a complaint. This was to a Christmas present for my wife. Completely incompetent service that doesn't even follow their own procedures. Would never shop with them or Bloomingdale's again.
I purchased a lot of items this Black Friday from Macys and they have referred me to Borderfree to get my order shipped. However, I payed for my order through Visa fully. But Borderfree were charging me again b4 shipping each item!
Items are shipped individually and not grouped.
Customer service is horrible. You will get no reply even if you are emailing them all day.
I will never buy through this service SCAMMERS.

I ordered three jumpers from Bloomingdales on 24/02/2018. I started inquiring about the status my shipment on a weekly basis from April 2018 onward but I never received any response. I received an email on 05/05/2018 from Borderfree stating that my order has been lost. Such a poor and horrible service. I wasted my time and money, received response 2.5 months after placing an order. The worst customer service experience I have ever had.
So I've been quite reading a lot of reviews regarding about the Borderfree. I ordered a pair of shoes from the Under Armour website which was the Curry 2. I must say that it only took 2 weeks to arrive my order. The shoes were in excellent condition as well and i'm very satisfied. So i was really terrified when I heard that Borderfree is a terrible company, turns out it wasn't. Thanks Borderfree, I'm looking forward to work with you again.
I have placed my order on Saks, Borderfree as their international hub. Been waiting my parcel being shipped for over two weeks, turns out the hub "lost" or I would say STOLEN my order. Phoned CS but received the worst manner and service ever. I hope at other retailers stop connected with this shady company.
Absolute waste of time. Ordered through Ulta during Cyber sale. They canceled my order due to a "processing error". Told me to call Ulta to reorder and ask for price adjustment. Ulta doesn't even have my order reference # because everything gets handled through Borderfree, so they won't honor the sale price. Went back and forth between Ulta and Borderfree 4 times, and all Borderfree is doing is sending Ulta a message about this order.
They take no responsibility for their company error and act like it's the customer's fault. Both companies need to get their act together!
Negative 10 out of five stars. The package I ordered never arrived. It was lost. I kept contacting them to get it rectified and all I kept getting was a generic response with no real solution. It's coming up to a month and I still don't have my package or my money refunded. Disgusting.
Literally doesn't get any worse than this. I was fraudulently charged on my credit card via Borderfree (for a very large amount), my bank called me and cancelled the transaction, I report them the issue and they wouldn't just admit it, coming up with stupid responses and even threatened me, telling if I asked for a refund via my bank I would be blocked by their system. By all means block me a... les!
They make it impossible to return items. Their website is misleading and gives you the run-around when it comes to returning an item. I would never again use Borderfree, it is fraudulent.
I ordered through Saks Off Fifth, which like Borderfree, they're both simply inaccessible from the moment they close the sale. Now the situation is that Borderfree has debited the same amount twice from my bank account for a single order. The one debit they've processed, the other one is left hanging in my bank account, and my bank refuses to reinstate the money back into my account without a mere letter from Borderfree to authorize the reinstatement. Both Borderfree and Saks Off Fifth are simply not interested in sending me the letter to correct an error that is squarely of their commission and making. To crown with a cherry a vile pie I'm supposed to swallow - I still have not received my parcel...
I had never heard of border free before. I ordered a dress off lane Bryant to ship to Canada and was informed after the purchase it was coming through bored free. I came here to see the reviews. I was crushed so worried, only dress I had seen that I actually liked and was excited about. I had 6 week gap between ordering and needing the dress and was stressed reading the reviews here plus a potential canada post strike. But I am happy to say that from ordering to reaching my front door was a week exactly. Not too shabby for having to clear customs. I know people dont tend to leave reviews when happy only angry to try and get things resolved but I have to say it was impressive I may try to order more things from the US to canada through.
And no I am not a paid review just someone trying to give a positive experience to make people who may be worried about their parcel like I was
Bought shoes from USA, poor quality. Sent in a plastic bag with no packing, it took more than a week to get a return address to return them to, and to add insult to injury, was instructed to box the shoes and prepare myself for a $6.00 refund.

I was "employeed" with Border free for the one month probationary period, and after they got their free month out of me, the person I was corresponding with completely fell of the face of the earth, I never got the check for a whole months of work, and they locked me out of my employee portal. This company should absolutely be investigated by the proper authorities and shut down immediately! Do not make purchases via Border free! I doubt the poor customers have actually received their products; and even more so, do not fall for their employment scam! You will waste time, money, and other resources! Please learn from my mistake!
I purchased True Religion jeans x 2 pairs and only realised that the transaction is via Borderfree once I got a PayPal receipt. I then got a confirmation of order followed by nothing... nothing... nothing. 3 weeks later... nothing. True Religion said they'd follow up but it was up to me to check in again for status in 9 working days. Borderfree send an auto reply each time I email.
The worst international service I've ever come across with ZERO customer care. I'll never use either company again. There are plenty of others with great service and the delivery time between US and Australia is usually within the week. Borderfree couldn't be less professional in the modern era of international deliveries.
My advice: AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.
I ordered from White House Black Market that uses them. Ordered clearance items (which are no longer available) Borderfree loses my package (I had to track them down as of course there is no response like others said to emails. Then they just shrug it off - like "we lost it" we will just ask for a new one. Like this happens all the time. WTH!
Those items weren't available anymore of course...

I will never order from this site ever again. Order was placed last month (15 march) and my order is still not here and it is 5 april. You would think paying a premium amount of 25 euro to post a babies swimsuit would have given a fast delivery, but no sign of my order and customer service is just telling me to be patient. For the money i have paid i would have expected alot more from this company. Extremely disappointed and will never be using this company again
I would like to thank customer services for their prompt attention to a problems with my recent purchase. In addition to this I received a no quibble refund for the goods although I was more than happy to accept a discount.
