Worst customer service I've ever experienced and theft.
They lost my order, promised me a refund, yet 1 month, and many many emails later, I'm still having to fight to get my refund of over £300.
They ignore almost every email and the ones they actually reply to, are the most unhelpful. Either sending a formatted response to which doesn't answer anything I've said or just resend the previous email.
Would stay well clear.
Worst online experience ever! Ordered from Uncommon Goods using BorderFree in mid-December and it is January 11 yet no sign of the items. They are now sitting two provinces away and haven't moved for 3 business days. Customer Service at both companies are zero help, "the items are on their way". Will return the items and never shop at Uncommon Goods or BorderFree again. Stay away!
Do not order from someone who ships via Borderfree! I paid extra for "expedited shipping". Apparently that means wait 3-5 days for it to actually ship and get a tracking number. And then another 4 days (at best) to ship the item to me. Completely unacceptable! I am shocked that Nordstrom uses such a horrible shipping company
Placed my order in early September for 4 items. All 4 items shipped in separate shipments, with 1 item being out of stock and me never even receiving it. On top of that they charged me for that item too. The whole shipment took more than a month to get here. Never using them again. Avoid at all costs!
At first, I loved the ability to order from stores that did not offer overseas shipping and had items not available o Amazon.
Particularly, Target. They were quite quick to drop out since they could not handle the volume.
On occasion, I would use the service, but the last experience was, not great, and I will NEVER use them again!
It took forever to get my order processed, and by the time it did, some items were not in stock. The shipping costs are high vs. Amazon, so the slight savings for the items were offset by the shipping.
There is now a problem with the shipment. The last mile carrier has no contact phone number, neither does the shipping company.
Borderfree has no customer service number or email, just a website that does NOT give an option to contact them about shipping problems.
So. I am stuck. If I don't get this resolved, I will need to have the credit card company cancel the charge.`
Amazon, so much easier.
I've waited a while for my package, I use to order shirts online, and get them in 5 days max, now with borderfree, I have to wait ten years for them to even contact me saying they got my product, so they can ship it. A real shame to be honest, it's very slow. If you're looking for a product to be shipped fast, you're still looking at around a month or 3 weeks.
Although many stores offer free or $10 price shipping through Borderfree, the cost of returns is high and never told to you in advance, even if you ask. (the merchant will say that Borderfree sets the fees, and Borderfree is unreachable.)
I have been charged as much as $50 rerun fees for a $200 dress ordered from Piperlime.
This problem occurred for all the stores from which I ordered, which is a problem when ordering things that need to be tried on.
I ordered 3 items from Saks Off 5th back in October 5th 2020 and they only shipped 2 of the items.
I have called several times and they gave me the run around until finally telling me that they have rejected my complaint because they said I did not file anything with the shipping company when they have never told me that in the first place when i called to let them know that one of my items was not delivered.
Now I don't have the item I ordered and I'm out $50.

I ordered from a makeup store based out of Chicago. My order is coming to Toronto. It's been over 2 weeks since I ordered my cosmetics. The Borderfree website says 'no order'. I'm getting scared. They've already billed my MasterCard, so I'm concerned that it is LOST.
We have placed two orders from Macy's using borderfree and both have arrived but took up to 4 weeks. They basically charge 15% of value of order for delivery and for that you get the cheapest and slowest available method. Given my delivery cost on last order was $60 I expected a week delivery and it took 4 weeks. One week to be received at there warehouse and be shipped and then 3 more weeks to arrive. It is ok but expensive for what you get. I have paid $40 delivery for bigger parcel and had it arrive in 4 days from us. It is a cheap way to shop if you can wait weeks for order. Tracking is also hopeless as it only updates every week or two sometimes. I had one item say it was in New York and it was delivered before it was updated on web.
I have made half a dozen purchases from merchants in the US for delivery to Ontario, Canada. Packages have always arrived within 7-10 days, in great conditions, no lost or delayed packages, no damaged items, no weird charges on my account. I always received confirmation of order immediately, followed by shipping/tracking notification within couple of days.
I have made regular Saks purchases through Borderfree and every time I use a valid international promo code during sales times, there is an email that bounces back about three weeks later saying the order can't be fulfilled. You will get a confirm from Saks and Borderfree and they will do a pre-authorisation on the account... but if the deal/price is too good Saks will not fulfil the order and you will get an email blame it on a processing error. By that time the item has sold out so there isn't anything Saks/you can do about it. This is not an anomaly, it has happened at least four times to me on sale items. Buyers beware... prepare to be disappointed and that that great deal on that bag probably is too good to be true.
I ordered some items from Williams Sonoma USA to be shipped to Singapore, because there was a 50% discount on shipping. Otherwise I wouldn't have ordered the items. Like many of you who wrote your reviews here, Borderfree charged me the full shipping cost. I wrote to customer service and they denied the 50% discount. Whether it's an offer from Williams Sonoma or Borderfree, that's not my problem. Somebody has to honor that offer as it's published on the Williams Sonoma website. It is even on the page when I checked out.
This is absolutely unacceptable! It is a very dishonest offense. Those of you in Williams Sonoma, I hope you read this. You are losing customers because many of us will not ever buy from stores who uses Borderfree As fulfillment partner. And Pitney Bowes, you ought to know this and be very ashamed of what Borderfree, a company by you, is doing.
Even a 1 star is too much. I am still in a state of shock at the appalling customer service from Borderfree. As an agent for merchants they need to review their business model or businesses will go under. I placed a large order, received a confirmation from Paypal and no confirmation from Borderfree. Following a week of chasing them by myself and the merchant (their customer!), there was no response from Borderfree. I will NEVER order anything from a business who uses Borderfree and recommend you are aware of who is shipping your orders because their complete lack of respect for customer service in 2019 is astounding.
They emailed me a receipt saying it was $716.30 for everything, then they charged me exactly that amount. After a few days another $20 was charged from my account for no reason. Filed a report to their customer service, claims to reply in one business day and a few days have already past, i'd say they are full of $#*!.
I don't usually do reviews however I felt this one might be necessary. I just recently came to the UAE from the US and realized that there are a few things taken for granted at home that I usually use but have no access to those same things. I found out through Target's website that I could order from them and have my items shipped through Borderfree. Of course, I read all of the horrible reviews from previous users and was skeptical about ordering, but Borderfree was the only delivery option. I placed my order on Saturday and hoped for the best. Not only did I receive daily emails about the status of my shipment, I also received an email regarding when it would be delivered as well as the email saying it was delivered (on Wednesday). I don't know if customer service has improved dramatically from the previous bad reviews, but Borderfree definitely gets two thumbs up from me! I would absolutely use them again if I need to order something else without hesitation.
I have to say, I find Borderfree as best international service in shipping. You dont have to worry about customs or anything. I ordered a handbag from MACY'S. It took exactly 6 day to come to my door and that is including weekends. So pretty good service from US to Canada. So happy with them. I needed it for my vacation and it came right on time as promised.
I placed an order a week ago, the status still "confirmed" until today, I paid for express shipping as they said it only take 4-7 business days, but it is absolutely unreal. This is my first time to shopping at their website but also this is my last time for sure, I prefer to receive my order before my dad's birthday, but it seems impossible because I made a wrong decision to shop with them. I tried to send E-mail to ask about my order status, but there are no one willing to reply to me. This is my most terrible shopping experience ever.
I ordered boots from Aquatalia on line, and had to process my order through this company. They slugged me a large excess for postage and taxes!
I had to return the order, my parcel was received by them in Sydney according to tracking but to date (2 weeks later) I have had not acknowledgement of return, no refund, they will not speak to customers by phone, their contact details do not allow you to email them, their system has wiped my email and account details, and I am short of just under $1000!
I have called Aquatalia in the US, and they cannot help.
If anyone can help me sort this out, I would be grateful.

In September 2022 I ordered Tommy Bahama to be shipped from US to Germany twice, despite initial reluctance due to Borderfree´s bad reviews. Both orders arrived perfectly well packed and in timely fashion, 2nd order arrived three business days prior to estimated delivery time. DHL tracking worked perfectly too. Prepaid taxes and shipping fees seem fair
