I AM REVIEWING AMAZON'S PRIME PANTRY, a relatively new feature for Prime members, charges a flat shipping rate of $5.99 for their boxes. I ordered a small item, analgesic oral gel, which was listed as an Amazon Prime Pantry item. Amazon "told" me to add other items to fill the $5.99 box. I didn't pay much attention to that, never having used Amazon Prime Pantry before. When I went to check out, this gel would've cost me its price plus the $5.99 shipping fee, even though I'm a Prime member. Fortunately, I was able to delete the gel and avoid the additional $5.99 fee. I'm confused about Amazon Prime Pantry. What is part of this program and what isn't? I recently ordered many food products, but they weren't part of the Prime Pantry. They got shipped "free" because I'm a Prime member. Yet, this oral analgesic gel was a Prime Pantry item, even though other of the same gels aren't. I'm just advising people that if something is part of the Amazon Prime Pantry, you will pay an additional $5.99 shipping fee. So you better fill your pantry box to make the additional fee worth it. Otherwise, find another product that will get shipped "free" as part of your Prime membership.
As a Amazon prime member i get to take advantage of many perks, amongst them is what they call the A to Z guarantee wich means if my item does not arrive on time i can get a no questions asked refund the following day. So i ordered a battery for my granddaughter's scooter and it was suppose to arrive on august 23 approx. Wich means if it doesnt arrive by the 24th i can get a refund so on aug 23 rd the status of my package changes to sorry you package is now arriving on sept 9th,wich means that on the tenth i can get a refund but on sept 9 th my status changes to ( your package is now arriving on sept 14 th and if it doesnt arrive by the 15 th i can get a refund, so ya see there really is no refund because they keep changing the date and the guarantee time, ive spoken to customer service explaining that i should have been refunded on the 24 th but they wanted me to contact the seller in wich i did and todays message read please wait six more days and contact us if you havent received your item and that means sept 17th i can send them a message so they can have me wait again so that guarantee means wait till you get your item cause were not ever gonna refund you.
$99.00 a year seems like a fair price for all the services included in this membership. I order alot of items off Amazon and the free shipping is the main reason I initial chose to try this membership. Free 2 day delivery really made it worthwhile when I used it to send gifts at Christmas.
Recently I have used the Prime Now to order from Bartells, Pcc, and also grocery items off Amazon. PrimeNow is a 2 hour delivery service included in the Prime membership. I have not been disapointed. The prices are regular store prices, not marked up like my recent attempt at using Instacart. All the food is fresh, not past the due date like Instacart. There is a minimum amount which is different for each store, but it is reasonable and there is no delivery charge or service fee. Prime now can be used to order from local restaurants too(I have not used yet)
I have listened to free music through my Prime membership. Also free videos are offered but I have not even looked yet to see what's available.
I save time not running to the store and money too as I get 5% back when I use my Amazon.com credit card. To me Amazon Prime membership is worth it!
Sitejabber is a excellent app i am one one of a person who used this app i personaly say it to all use this app and gain trusted experience they give very geniune just i say this app is too good
Amazon Prime delivery driver parking in a handicapped spot! I asked them to move their vehicle but they refused.
I am home bound and use Amazon Prime as my built-in "go to" for all but fresh foods. Have not let me down for 2 years.
If you can't find it, they have it. Quick delivery free. We do most all our shopping through Amazon Prime. TV is rotten now so movies are good too.
Fast shipping, great service! Customer support is also very helpful, I had a minor issue lately, got resolved in a matter of minutes
It's a great opportunity to help other consumers in searching the right product online and the value of money is reciprocated as well
Shopping online with a source to almost any thing you can think of and free shipping for a reasonable prime time fee.
Great value with quality brands, I give them four star just because I always expect it to get even better... Cheers!
Every time i order from amazon all my items come on time and are always in perfect condition just like souq.com
Love amazon prime. It worth extra investment. I buy a lot from them and always choose prime, for free 2-day shipping.
Not worth it in my opinion. Still a lot of delayed deliveries, I don't see it is getting way faster with prime, so I would better save some money
I signed up for Amazon Prime thinking the many extra services would be worth the cost. Turns out you get a watered down version of the "real" services. Prime books is not Kindle Unlimited. Prime music is a half version of Amazon's full music service. Both requiring additional sign ups and monthly fees to get the best experience. Okay that was probably in the fine print although still disappointing.
I received an email promising a $15 promo if I make a $30+ purchase. Fantastic because I could use a few things Santa forgot. After putting some things in my cart and proceeding to checkout, no promo. Reread the fine print. Purchase must be made on mobile app, check; purchase must be sold by and distributed from Amazon... oops. So back to the shopping cart, remove that, add this, check and check. Proceed but no promo. Hunt for code in fine print but nothing. Search a bit online was no help. *sigh* customer service time. I initiated a chat and things were looking good. Rep said she needed a copy of the email AMAZON sent me... um ok so I forwarded it. Rep confirmed the promo should have applied and went to talk to her Lead. Came back and asked if the order was placed on the app. I would think they could tell but I confirmed anyway. Back to Lead. Asked if products were sold and distributed by Amazon. Again, this is AMAZON'S app so they would know better than I would but I confirmed. Back to Lead. Offered a $5 courtesy promo rather than fix the problem. My response was to request my Prime membership be cancelled. Rather than attempting to keep my business and make the customer happy, she cheerfully cancelled my membership.
So no $30+ purchase, no $119 membership and future purchases, one very grumpy customer all to save the $10 ($15-5) they had offered me in the email.
My advice don't bother with Amazon Prime. If you can get the best price there, take advantage of the regular free shipping and for other services use one of the better rated ones available for music or books or video.
These guys are the best when looking for accessories for your tablets and computer awesome site with everything you need...
The prime service is nothing but a scam. You have very little recourse when you get something late or damaged
Cheap, easy to find what your looking for! Free shipping SURE! I will never go back to just Amazon! Lol!
I ordered and paid for an Adobe movie maker and never received the down load two weeks ago.
I would like my money back.

Answer: Probably because Amazon Prime would rather be straight forward with their customers and ensure they get their customers' questions answered to the absolute best of their ability to avoid any sort of confusion using chatbots, and/or a most likely VERY busy email address that very few people probably have access to via their site. I have actually never heard nor seen anybody complain about authenticity, or live chat, or phone call where you can get your question or questions answered much faster, vs. waiting for and possibly potentially even missing their reply email because you would have to be sitting around waiting on an email reply, for however long that'd take. Trust me, if you really want your question(s) answered, this would by far be the best option. There is even an app and/or extension you can use called "Amazon Assistant" That feature normally gets any and all issues solved, and FAST! I hope this helps! :)
Answer: Click on the left-hand corner, then go to books and audible, then to prime reading. There is a selection of books that can be read for free
