We sell items through AMAZON Prime. We ship our items to a AMAZON Warehouse. AMAZON sells and ships the item to the customer. We were recently returned an item from AMAZON that the customer somehow emerged in water (item is not waterproof) AMAZON returned the item dripping wet to us and AMAZON will do nothing to help us to get reimbursement leaving us with a useless waterlogged product. (Thank you Steven from AMAZON Customer support)
I was always a fan of Amazon but I have to say since I got Amazon Prime, i'm now devoted and its my go to shop when i'm looking for anything. I will of course do research to find the best price but for most things, Amazon Prime is hard to beat - they deliver faster than anyone (including Fedex based deliveries) and that does matter - ordering from stores and having to wait a week or two because it goes by SurePost or slow post via fedex cheaper options is a killer - with Amazon, I'm usually paying less and its here in 1 or 2 days - pretty incredible. It's been the handiest site for me when i need gifts or items at short notice! Hard to beat them and the quality works, they have the breadth of selection and choices and no matter what people say Amazon is giving jobs too so you can't totally guilt people about not going to brick and mortar stores. Its as fast to return on Amazon as it is any store (and somethings costs you less as you just try it and pop it right back in the box the same day to go back! Love it!
I love having amazon prime, i get to watch as many movies as i want, read as many books as i want, listen to all the music i want, and best of all, save money on my orders with free 2 day shipping!
I have been a Prime customer for about ten years. Amazon keeps raising the membership fee but the service is not getting better. In fact, its service is getting worse. Now the order deliveries are frequently late without any apparent reasons. Very few orders are actual delivered in one day.
Within their customer review system, Amazon only let customer review the product but they don't ask or let the customer review its own service. Many customer reviews are not the same product that I am looking to buy. They are just a similar product. This skews the review score.
Now for the Prime Video service. Amazon should separate the video from its Prime membership. I, personally don't care for its video streaming service because it sucks. I still have to pay for the new movie titles. The most free videos or movies are old. I have my own Netflix account to watch movies.
The three stars are for the return service. Amazon's return service for prime is great. There is no question for it. I love that I just need to give my reason, take a screenshot of the QR code, and take the item to a UPS store. I don't even need to box it.
When you buy "everything" online (including groceries AND the kitchen sink!), it's so convenient to one-stop shop. In this case, Amazon takes the cake! Not only do I love the free shipping offered for Prime members, the free music streaming has also become a favorite. It's not like Pandora or iHearthe in that you can actually create your own playlists rather than a services "pre-selected based on your likes" lists. I've also compared the Prime movie/TV streaming option to Netflix. Prime offers just about the same selection that you'd pay $10+ for thru Netflix. Another positive is that there are new benefits being added all the time (free picture/document storage, PrimePantry, etc.) Amazon also gives Prime members access to exclusive special deals, coupons, events and more! You could purchase many of these services from other retailers but if you added up the cost for all the benefits that Prime offers, not counting the unlimited free shipping, you'd be hard pressed to find them all for $99 per year.
Love the FAST shipping, but the cost I think is a little high if you don't use it enough. Still decided to keep it but if I don't buy more, I'll get rid of it. Why not make it more affordable?
I HAD an Amazon Prime YEARLY account for many, many years. I started receiving additional Amazon Prime MONTHLY charges of $16.30/month. I had to reach out to Amazon 4-5 months in a row as someone was using a similar email and my credit card each month - the FRAUDulent person had more rights than I did. The charges came the next month after thinking it was resolved. Then the next month. Then the next month for 4-5 months. The charges were reversed by Amazon AFTER talking with Amazon many times at up to 60 minutes each time. I had to change my credit card 2 times as the charge carried over to my new credit card. Finally, I had to block my credit card. I'm assuming it's taken care of now. This has taken me countless hours to resolve between talking with Amazon, changing my credit card multiple times, setting up new credit card payments and more. There doesn't seem to be any pursuit of the FRAUDulent person by Amazon. I was a huge Amazon fan until this time. The resolution has been painful and frustrating. I'm not entirely sure that this card hasn't been used for payments of products that went to someone else. Amazon - protecting FRAUDulent people over long-term customers is a poor business practice.
Outstanding collection of movies, current & timeless classics, foreign films, TV & HBO specials including some terrific BBC series. As an Amazon Prime member many of them are free, mothers have minimal rental fees or the options to purchase & permanently add to your video library. I've watched some outstanding obscure foreign made films. Saw Ida before it won the 2015 Oscar for Best Foregin film. It is an awesome movie. Cinematography is stunning. Occassionally I encountered technical difficulties streaming them thru my Ipad. Amazon is so quick to respond. Before I even contact them they send me an email stating that they noticed my recent movie rental had technical problems so they credited my acct. For the cost of the rental. They did that once when I was able to work it out & watched the whole film. I had to contact them & tell them I didn't need the refund! What company does that?! They definitely have it together. Some companies who get that big, get cocky & their customer svc. Lapses. Not Amazon. No wonder they're holding market share. They earn it!
Long story short, I told them not to contact me. They persistently contacted me. They solicited me with prime during a checkout. I declined. Next thing I know, I received an email welcoming me to prime which I never joined. I immediately, within minutes emailed them to stop all orders associated with prime and to remove prime from my account as though it never existed. They kept insisting I joined, I kept saying I never joined. Stop emailing me. Next I received a product ordered with prime even though I told them to cancel any order associated with prime. From here it became nasty. They are idiots. Amazon needs competition. I fired them.
To resolve it, remove any existence of prime to my account. It never existed. Remove all enticements of prime so I can never select prime. Remove any and all one button buy opportunities. Don't communicate to me unless I initiate the communication and then stop if I tell you the first time.
You know who I am Amazon.com. Don't contact me unless you agree with the above.
If 0 zero was an option that's what they'd get!
About 3 weeks ago i made a purchase for a few items and I had just enough money to cover it! And the order went through but 2 days later I got a email saying I didn't have enough for one of the items that I "already" ordered even though the order already went through! Ok so i it said hit cancel item since I didn't have enough even though i did! And the very next day same thing happened but with a different item!? I'm confused because I had a little more than enough money to cover my order wasn't even making sense! So I just hit cancel on that too! I tried calling customer service but completely zero help! It's like talking to a brick wall! No help or refund! Long story short the 2 items that I canceled because of so called insufficient funds was never refunded to me! It was about 40$ so I showed them the original order number email and prices but no refund! When i had proof even bank statements showing what they took! But all they kept saying is I canceled the items! When it was there fault for the cancellation! Bottom line they for some reason messed with my already scheduled order and took a little more than 40$ and are giving no refunds! Stay away from this corrupt company! Going to the BBB thanks for reading.
I am with Amazon Prime and have been waiting for a roll of plastic bags since October 11. They are supposed to be here on Saturday, so the total wait is almost 2 weeks. They keep changing the delivery time pushing it further and further. If I am paying for Prime delivery and have to wait two weeks for an item, what's the point of having a Prime Membership? I am paying for it! It should be like a Pizza deliveries. After a certain time of waiting, let it go for free.
Amazon is making a sickening amount of money right now. Almost everything is priced 3 to 4 times more than it should. Somebody is getting rich here with very little accountability in their own department.
To actually have someone from Amazon respond to your complaint is nearly impossible. I get to talk to someone in India (with terrible English) who told me on the phone that they were uncomfortable writing a complaint. This was followed by an e-mail saying they the item will be delivered by the 18th of October. Well, when I woke up this morning there is yet another e-mail from Amazon saying it should be delivered by Saturday 22nd and Monday 24th of October.
That's a complete joke but we need to get used to this as there is no direct contact between the customers and the Amazon representatives to hear out their issues.
My reviews don't make it to the Amazon reviews page. Anything negative is quickly creamed out and out of sight. Awful!
The shipping time is a joke they claim fast shipping but there supposed 2 day shipping is taking over a week if my wife wasn't using the online book site I would cancel my subscription
This is the first and last time I order textbooks on student amazon. I paid for prime shipping and placed an order for almost $400 worth of books. Next day waited around for the order and nothing showed up after calling them and speaking to an extremely rude supervisor named Berna I found out they cancelled my order for suspected fraud because it was my first time ordering and the large amount of the order, but I was never notified. Now after reinstating my account and replacing the same order I paid for express shipping again and still have not received my package. Its now been a week, 7 phone calls, and two emails and still no package. There wasn't even an explanation as to why I wasn't contacted when my account was suspected fraudulent, the supervisor only offered me a $10 credit which wouldn't even cover shipping cost, and I've still yet to get any reply from my emails that I've sent. Its tempting cause their cheap but do yourselves a favor students and don't get your textbooks through amazon. The amount of time wasted and the frustration of dealing with there customer service staff isn't worth the trouble. Now I'm massively behind on my studies and still have NOT received my textbooks.
I have been an Amazon customer for years and have never had a problem. Products are cheaper, always delivered on time and returnings are easy and effective. Excellent!
A scam I would say, They have been deducting a XX amount $ on my husbands card every month for the subscription fee, I hearing my husband trying to reach their customer service almost every other week to get his account up and running frustrating part money has been deducted every month but there was always an issue especially if you need to watch something that are included on their prime, Customer service was rude and trust me we know how to treat people especially in the customer service but if they gave you some attitude especially with no attempt to even help you out with your concern you will get out of patient l especially if you tried to reach out with them to find a solution. Frustrating. If we can give no star we would but, I guess in order for you to write a review you had to.I really felt bad for my husband as I have been hearing him almost every other week trying to get his account fixed each time I felt they got scripts and they'll say we can't find your account. Which my husband emailed them and even took a screenshot of the reoccurring payment amount of the monthly subscription from this company. NEVER AGAIN AMAZON.!
I purchase and have purchased many items from Amzon on a weekly basis, I am a Prime member, and have done most of my shopping through Amazon due to their past return policy. I did not realize that Amazon Prime orders had a strict 30 day return policy now. I purchased three pairs of shoes through Amazon Prime and they did not arrive in time for me to take on my trip. When I arrived back from my trip, the shoes were not returnable even though they did not arrive on time to be useful to me. In the future, I will not by ANYTHING that I have to try on or that I am planning to take on a trip through Amazon. You cannot count on the Prime shipping and with the 30 day policy, I am better off going through a Department Store like Macy's that will give me a full refund or store credit ANYTIME after purchase.
I have been using Amazon prime for 7 years with on major problems my last order I got a notification saying order was delayed that was the last and only notification I got. The next day I canceled order and was notified it was going to take 3 to 5 days to get refund I CANCELED AMAZON PRIME
I ordered Amazon Prime as a means to gain my orders quicker and free (I think it's all 2 day) I also can stream movies from Amazon at amazing speeds and no lag. I love Amazon!
I love Amazon prime... it saves me a lot of money... and I get 1/2 off each month with my ebb card.it literally pays for itself
I love Amazon and I primarily do most of my shopping from there. However, it takes inbox dollars a very long time to process a digital gift card.
Answer: Probably because Amazon Prime would rather be straight forward with their customers and ensure they get their customers' questions answered to the absolute best of their ability to avoid any sort of confusion using chatbots, and/or a most likely VERY busy email address that very few people probably have access to via their site. I have actually never heard nor seen anybody complain about authenticity, or live chat, or phone call where you can get your question or questions answered much faster, vs. waiting for and possibly potentially even missing their reply email because you would have to be sitting around waiting on an email reply, for however long that'd take. Trust me, if you really want your question(s) answered, this would by far be the best option. There is even an app and/or extension you can use called "Amazon Assistant" That feature normally gets any and all issues solved, and FAST! I hope this helps! :)
Answer: Click on the left-hand corner, then go to books and audible, then to prime reading. There is a selection of books that can be read for free
