Great service and very fair prices. They charge half for Amazon Student than what they charge for the full Prime service. I recommend it to anyone looking to shop for books or required materials for college courses.
Any issues I've had on Amazon, which have been few, was handled decently and immediately. I enjoy my Whole Foods discounts and the freedom of purchasing in peace without the bother of store associates that don't know or care where anything is. I didn't have a good experience as with AmazonFresh or Audible (but that was mainly pricing), but enjoy all the other Amazon perks.
Amazon wants you to think that they are such a helpful company. When all they are is money hungry wolves. Can you believe set the actually charge you to watch a movie in English? You can watch this movie and Swedish or German or whatever, but you cannot watch it in English without paying. In my book that's a bunch of BS.
I always have some type of problem. From them losing shipments to overcharge to me waiting days past w. E shipping I pay for. NOW i try checking out and decided to get prime and pay monthly. They charge me $99 for the yearly AND $10.99 for monthly and now i have $15 to my name and a 3 month old to take care of and they tell me I have to wait 3 more days until i get my money back that THEY screwed up. Unbelievable
In the passed two months now I have been trying to get a decent pair of shoes. I suffer plantar Fasciitis and heel spurs on both feet. I have Psoriasis and it causes joint pain. I also have an injury. I just want a good pair of shoes. The many returns and BS that I am experiencing is and extra problem I can do without. I am exhausted with even contacting Amazon. This is not the Altra Brand. This is an excellent brand. This fake brand is messing that up! I haven't had these for a month yet.
Went to make a separate account for one of my kids, and set up an allowance from my account into the newly created. Got locked out of my account, reset my password, tried again only to see the allowance go into my account and not my kids. Tried to buy a Amazon gift card for same amount, got locked out again, followed instructions to reset password. Over and over.
It awesome works and is cheap. I'd 100% rebuy the products and some and also would share with everyone I know so that that they can buy and try the product as well including his family and friends always.
Date; Oct 2016. Actually I tried the FREE AmazonPrime because I am naturally un-trustful of anything that sounds too good to be true.
I have not had any issues with the service. I especially enjoyed being able to view the free movies available using the Prime video portion. Even the ones that I had to pay to view are at a much cheaper price.
When I first signed up for Amazon Prime it was great! Two day delivery, loved the streamed shows, return service was great. Now...still love the shows and return service, but the two day delivery does not exist anymore, it seems. Delayed orders, cancelled (by Amazon) orders, products not available and no idea when, or if, they will be available.
My wife attempted to dispute a charge on her credit card for an item, before I was able to check my Prime account to verify that it was indeed a fraudulent charge Amazon locked my account up. I attempted speaking with "customer service" rep, that was like speaking with a foreign brick wall. I have been a prime customer for many years but the only way to access my account is to pay for the charge first even though it may be a fraudulent charge. No customer service at all anymore. I have worked with them in the past on issues with orders, improper charges, wrong product, etc. no problems with Amazon but that was a few years in the past. What a different compay now. Looks like I'm done with these scam artists.
Amazon Prime is not worth it. The movies on prime are all old movies and movies that are not good. The "documentaries" are a joke. A lot of the movies have to be rented at $3.99 or bought. Then the "free" books you get on Prime Reading are no good. A lot of the books are British like the Psychology books. And they are really dull and not good. All of the American psychology books are only available for purchase. There are no Christian books available to read for free. Music Prime is also no good. You have to end up buying for everything. So it's a waste to pay for the subscription PLUS pay to get stuff that is actually worth it. None of their originals stand out either. They try too hard to beat Netflix but they are worse.
Nefarious was the very worst movie I've ever watched,I am 81 p, widowed and Netflix and Amazon Prime movies fill my lonely evenings.
A friend told me she heard NEFARIOUS was supposed to be pretty good.
It was rated correctly, I had to pay to watch it, but….I learned my lesson tonight to pay attention to the star****** rating. So, so badly done!
I have save a lot of money by shopping at Amazon versus shopping in a store. I don't have to drive anywhere, and most importantly, I don't purchase impulse items like I would in a store. Prime is worth every penny
I am a Cinephile, and I have watched tons of movies in my entire life, for that reason I had to subscribe Disney+, Amazon prime, Netflix, Hbo max etc. To me Amazon prime has the best contents if we talking about recent time, like The Boys (amazon's flagship series) is something only Amazon could stream it on their platform. I like using the app, which is smooth to operate. I am with amazon prime.
I have been a member of Amazon Prime for 2 years and I absolutely love it! The delivery is fast. Knowing that the shipping is taken care of I order without thinking about it. Some things are not included under prime so that is a bit of a bummer but most things I have purchased have been. I love the discounts on the books I order for my Kindle. I order many many books. I am very satisfied with the quality of all of my purchases. I can't speak on how returns are handled because I have never returned anything.
I have to say, Amazon surpasses all online stores out there. Whats important to me when shopping online is great customer service. Amazon are quick to rectify any or all problems. Great shopping experience 10 out of 10.
I pay for amazon prime which means I expect two day shipping however once I received my product a week after I purchased it is reasonable to be upset. I purchased on a Wednesday and expected to get here Friday. It didn't and it said the expected delivery date was Sunday, which is not two days! To top things off I still didn't receive it Sunday but instead I got it on a Tuesday. I also needed that product that weekend so receiving it Tuesday was useless already
I purchased a Fitbit Charge after my Jawbone stopped working. The Fitbit is far superior to the Jawbone. The band and toughness are very important to me. Fitbit combined with Amazon is the way to go in my opinion.
Honestly, I get my membership fee back in shipping fees at Christmas, and then more savings throughout the rest of the year. As long as I order Prime items and nothing from other sellers I've never had a problem. And even when we did order some things for my daughter's wedding from other vendors, their customer service helped us track the order and figure out what was wrong. But the big thing is SUBSCRIBE AND SAVE! I love that so so very much. Thank you Amazon!
Answer: Probably because Amazon Prime would rather be straight forward with their customers and ensure they get their customers' questions answered to the absolute best of their ability to avoid any sort of confusion using chatbots, and/or a most likely VERY busy email address that very few people probably have access to via their site. I have actually never heard nor seen anybody complain about authenticity, or live chat, or phone call where you can get your question or questions answered much faster, vs. waiting for and possibly potentially even missing their reply email because you would have to be sitting around waiting on an email reply, for however long that'd take. Trust me, if you really want your question(s) answered, this would by far be the best option. There is even an app and/or extension you can use called "Amazon Assistant" That feature normally gets any and all issues solved, and FAST! I hope this helps! :)
