I was looking for a floor seat to Coldplay's AHFODT and found a perfect seat on StubHub and super inexpensive! I had my doubts at first, but shipping was on time and I definitely enjoyed the concert!

Canceled tickets 15 mins b4 show
September 29, 2023

Me and 2 of my friends purchased tickets for the beyonce concert in New Orleans on September the 27 for my birthday. Paid over 400$ in fees. We flew to New Orleans from St. Petersburg Florida. 15 minutes before the show starts I received a email advising our transactions was cancelled. We call stub hub over 20 times everyone we talked to was extremely rude, unprofessional, uneducated on how it works and they all provided different information even the supervisor Pamela employee Id number *******. I was on the phone with her for over an hour and she did nothing to try and help us. She would not allow us to buy tickets over the phone or even try to help us locate a ticket. We reprocessed the order 4 more times on 4 different cards online and they were all cancelled. We couldn't even buy tickets from another vendor at this point because they were holding the money. No one was able to tell us why this was happening or try to help us find new tickets. This is the worst experience I've ever had with any company I've ever done business with. I am even more hurt that the company is getting away with type of behavior. I've taken time off work, paid for a flight, booked a hotel, rented a car all in vein because StubHub was selling tickets they never had, this ruined my 30th birthday and what put the icing on the cake was the costumer service I received, the I don't care attitude and lack of empathy I got from this company is beyond disgusting and ridiculous. I was being hung up on, placed on hold and the representative would never come back to the call, the list goes on and on. Worst experience of my life. Birthday I'll never forget, ruined.

My expanse with stub hub was a rollercoaster 1st I bought my ticket months and events I get to the concert about 45 minutes to start time as a going to the line in scan a get red because my tickets are not working they tell me that I have to go into will call I'm waiting in line and will call than they tell me to go to customer service go to customer service they tell me they have nothing to do with it I need to call up stubhub and get it fixed I call them I'm literally outside the concert for about hour and a 1/2 trying to deal with getting my tickets and getting couple times through my email account and telling me that I'm supposed to hit send tickets I do that and keep going to the line I keep getting rejected finally someone in customer service buys me tickets sends me the screenshot of it and I get through the tickets that they bought me were tickets again there was not available because it was seated in the speaker area so then again I had to go to customer service wait in a 20 minute line and again get new tickets I did get upgraded to gets to the floor but I was an hour and 40 minutes late to even see in the concert so over all I was a little upset. After standing outside for over an hour and a 1/2 my feet was alredy hurting for the day I was already hot because it was a hot day and my mood was just alredy upset over all.

I bought tickets on Stubhub for Illenium 2-day event. When I bought them it said "fast pass 2-day event GA". So it appeared to be a fast pass entry to GA. When I got there it was apparently 2 different tickets - one for fast pass (which is a $10-25 value) and one to get in to GA. So the seller is a scammer! They sold the fast pass for $80 each before fees etc making it look like it was also a general admission ticket. I went with three other people and we all had the same experience. When we tried to call Stub hub and explain the issue we were told we got what we paid for! I requested to talk to a supervisor and was told one would call me. I had bad service and missed the call, but when I called back the associate I talked to would NOT let me talk to her. The supervisor's name is Kayla. After numerous attempts to try and get through I gave up and had to spend $330 MORE to go see the event. Needless to say I had an absolutely HORRENDOUS time with purchasing fraudulent tickets from a seller on Stubhub, abysmal time talking TWICE to two different "customer service" associates, and absolutely NO help whatsoever from Stubhub in general. I will ABSOLUTELY NEVER AGAIN BUY TICKETS ON STUBHUB! I will also caution everyone not to buy there, and I go to quite a lot of events. All I wanted was for Stubhub to honor their claims. Guess its just words.

WORSE COMPANY
June 6, 2018

I have had the worse experience with this company. I purchased tickets online and got a success confirmation after inputting all my information. I then get an email stating the order was cancelled and my account with Stub Hub was locked. I called Stub Hub was asked alot of personal questions, Where I work, My date of birth, and my previous address. Was told they need to verify with another company. I was placed on hold and then call was disconnected. I called again explained I was uncomfortable providing alot of my information to have someone hang up on me, assistant said it was probably my phone that dropped the call. She then went on explaining that my bank is the one who cancelled the transaction and I would have to call them. She also mentioned that tickets will not be held so there is a chance I can miss out on them. I called my bank. Wells Fargo saw no block on the card and stated that Stub Hub cancelled request. They mentioned see that alot of consumers have this issue with Stub Hub. I call Stub Hub a THIRD time. I speak with a male who mentioned it wasn't my bank who cancelled transaction it was their fraud department and they need to verify my information. He mentioned that can take up to 48 hours to resolve issue. I asked to speak with a manager because I have been mislead 3 times and I was beyond frustrated. I asked for a discount or process to be quicker to make my experience better. I also did not want to miss out on my tickets. The supervisor said there was nothing he can do. I have never dealt with a worse company. I am BEYOND disappointed and upset with my experience. I do not recommend this company and I will NEVER do business again. I am missing out an event I really wanted to go to because Stub Hub is a horrible company.

I ordered tickets for the on the weekend After Hours concert that my father and I could watch together. However due to covid the concert was canceled which is understandable and every concert that I know of where canceled. Which is not an issue for me. What issue I do have is once the decision was made to refund tickets holders. It's been one month that I have been waiting for the refund! On the website it indicates that the money was refunded. I was assured that it would take 5-7 work days and it would be deposited. Day 7 still nothing. I called the company and talked to them. I was given a confirmation number and was told that I will need to wait another 24 to 48 hours. If it hasn't been deposited to call back and give them that reference number so that person can go directly to notes concerning the refund. So, The rating that I give Stub Hub is the lowest that this site uses for an rating system. If I could give them half a star Stub Hub would receive it from me.
The roller coaster that this company has put me through is ridiculous as far as I am concerned is a crappy company. It's Easy to Take but not to Give Back.

Update.
One month had elapsed since the final decision to cancel the concert. I called Stub Hub and was told that they would deposit the full amount directly to my bank. I confirmed the info they had to make there would not a mixup. The seven day period they told me that the funds would be in. It was not. Called them and this time I was given a reference number and was told to wait 24 to 48 hours. I received an email telling me that they would send me check that will be sent out on the 21st. Here is the email

Not a genuine guarantee
February 6, 2023

I purchased Purdue Men's Basketball tickets for the Purdue/IU game on Feb 25th, through their platform and the seller did not post them. I called on the date they were supposed to have been emailed to me to let them know they were not. The customer service representative told me they would email me to select alternative tickets. I received the email and when I clicked the link, the message was that there were no alternative tickets. I called back and the rep told me to wait, that he would contact the seller to post the tickets, and that they should arrive that day. I waited 3 days, and no tickets. I called back today and the representative told me that they would give me a refund and a $200 coupon that I should receive within 48 hours. I understand that StubHub is a platform for buyers and sellers, but when they say 100% guaranteed from purchase to seat, that is not a genuine offer! Now each ticket is, at a minimum, $200 more than when I purchased them and I purchased 3 tickets. Not only that, I now need to possibly wait another 48 hours for the coupon in order to apply it to this purchase - when the tickets will be even more expensive if any are still available!

From their website - "Remember, you're covered by the FanProtect Guarantee. This means we guarantee your tickets will get you into the event. If you have questions about your tickets, please contact us"

Completely unacceptable - should have received at least $200 each in order to compensate for the increase in price!

I then went to VividSeats and used a preferred seller and received the tickets right away - albeit at that point about $300 more each!

I just got back from vegas and had to write a review. I bought 1 ticket to see Guns and Roses at T-Mobile. My friend and daughter had seats in section 8 row K seats 1&2. I found one seat in this same section and row seat 10, hopeful someone may let me slide down to sit with my friend. That day I received a message saying they noticed the person selling the ticket made an error (She had a ticket for Saturdays show and I had bought for Friday's show). They said they replaced with a valid ticket for that Friday and upgraded me for free. I wasn't happy, I didn't want to sit by myself. This show was slim pickings, and I didn't want to sit in some random seat. I went online and realized this seat was right night to the stage, best seat in the house as far as I could see. I called them, they offered me many other options that were all acceptable. I could get a full refund, my ticket cost $500 this ticket was reselling at $1500+. I could re sell the ticket they gave me and they would waive the resell fee or I could enjoy the seat maybe trade someone by my friend.

I went, checked out this seat and FOUND NEW FRIENDS! It was the best seat ever I wish I could upload a video- BEST experience ever, and LOVE T MOBILE arena too! I felt they went above and beyond. It wasn't there "fault" the lady reselling did the wrong date, and thank god there system was on it, how horrible for me to have gone all the way there to find this out- this review may have been different. I only went to Vegas for this show and the priceless experience, so I'm unsure they would've made me happy in that event.

This was my first time getting tickets this way. I usually get from ticket master/ direct- this show sold out 10 minutes after going on sale.

I accidentally sold one of my event tickets on two sites, Ticketmaster and StubHub. The reason for this was that Ticketmaster's site was being glitchy. I tried calling Ticketmaster customer service that night before the tickets sold, when the site wasn't working, and waited on the phone for over an hour, no answer. So the next day I get on StubHub and sell my ticket right away. Then about an hour later I get an email from Ticketmaster saying I sold it on that site too. So now I'm panicking. I'm thinking this is going to cost me a ton of money since the ticket prices skyrocketed overnight. I call Ticketmaster to explain my difficulties with their site and ask for help on what to do, wait on hold for about 30 minutes before I can talk to anyone. Then, they literally tell me "We can do nothing." So I ask if they can at least notify the buyer that their ticket won't work since two have been sold of the same barcode, and they say "No, we cannot do that." So then I ask if I will be in legal trouble for this if I can't figure out how to remedy it, and they say, "You know, I really don't know ma'am but we can't help you." So now I'm really freaking out. I call StubHub right away, and they answer within seconds (literally, like 5 seconds). I tell them I need help, and how Ticketmaster blew me off. The rep told me not to worry, they can fix this. He explains I might be charged the difference for a new ticket, which is completely fine since I sold the ticket for 160 and they hadn't gone up too much since earlier that day. However, I never got charged. They were so helpful and have been in the past as well, this time really made me a loyal customer. Great customer service, they always have my vote.

Over a year ago, I purchased 2 tickets to see Janet Jackson at the Hollywood Bowl. A few months later, we got word that the show was cancelled. We didn't hear about a reschedule until a couple months ago when StubHub emailed me that new concert date would be 10/8 and we can use our downloadable tickets in the very first original email attachment. Ok... fine. Very excited, my friend and I get to the Hollywood Bowl to see our favorite artist perform for our first time, and the ticket checker scanned the barcodes and told us there was a problem. Our tickets had be refunded back to the seller. I went down to the box office to state what has happened and she already knew it was StubHub! Apparently, I was the 7th person to have had this happen to. She gave me StubHubs number and so I called and complained and they said they would give me a full refund. My dissatisfaction is that we were scammed by a third party and thus missed seeing our favorite artist live. How could this have happened? StubHub really needs to amp up their security for their customers to prevent this kind of fraud. I can safely assume that after the buyer of these tickets got wind from where he purchased his tickets from, which is Ticketmaster, that the Janet Jackson show was cancelled, he immediately called for a refund even after I had paid him for those tickets on StubHub. I put full responsibility of this on StubHub. Somehow, once those tickets WITH barcodes are purchased from StubHub, they need to figure out a way to NOT let them be released or get refunded on. That was very irresponsible and stupid on StubHub's part. I assumed they were a reputable business and therefor assumed they had their act together. Never again would I trust them.

DONT USE STUB HUB!
August 4, 2016

Paid $52.00 for a lawn ticket at BLINK-182... They gave me my receipt but never sent me my tickets. I called and called called and called... Finally somebody did pick up and they said they were mailed to me. I said I didn't get them in the mail, Could they send me a scan ticket via email so I can go to the show. The guy I spoke to said NO! He wouldn't do that. I tried to go to the show anyway with my receipt & try to get in cause my friends were already there and they bought from stub hub and the same thing happen to them and got in without any hassle (they used stub hub too) SO I called again and said "Hey you just did this 20 minutes ago from my friends and now you're not going to do this for me! WTF?!?! That's Fraud. THE ONLY WAY I GOT IN TO SEE BLINK 182 IS THE ATTENDANT PUT HER JOB ON THE LINE AND SCANNED ANOTHER TICKET TWICE FOR ME! I showed them that I paid and have a receipt. The guy on the phone at stub hub didn't help me at all. THE PERSON AT THE GATE DID! So I'm leaving this review because I WILL NEVER USE STUB HUB EVER AGAIN! I wasn't the only one who had this problem. There was a whole line of people with this problem so I will not ever use this website. They are complete Fraud. Not even worth being a company, and anybody who works for them is an idiot. I would never hire someone if they said they worked for stubhub because the company policy is such bull$#*!.

I will never use them again! I accidentally bought tickets for the wrong day and called them to see if I could cancel the order right after I hit submit. I was told no but could resale them. The lady never told me that they were going away from mobile tickets ( which is what I bought), the lady from stubhub set everything up for me to sell them. I figured I could trust them since they work for the company right... nope! Sold 2 tickets and had to pay fees on them (which I already did when I bought the damn things) and I called the company and got the fee amount back but they said I had no account set up for payment. I told them the lady who set it up put all the info in and imagine this it wasn't set up and I would have never gotten paid if I didn't call. I would check the site often and my tickets were not always listed. The day of the event I still had 6 tickets to sell and I received an email that they took my listing down. When I called that is when I found out that they no longer do mobile to mobile and were like sorry nobody told you but it takes 24-48 to list them again which is BS! I told them they screwed me out of selling 6 tickets with taking it down and ask to speak to someone higher. I get a supervisor and she said we don't guarantee that you will sell all your tickets. I told him I knew that but you are taking a day away from me from selling them because you took them down without letting me know that You were canceling mobile to mobile tickets. I asked to speak to someone higher as they were not going to do anything and they were not gonna put them back on the site and I was informed I need to write a letter and send it to California. This is a bunch of bull crap and I will never ever buy tickets from them again. This is the biggest scam I have ever dealt with in my life. I wouldn't even give them a star but I don't have that option

I purchased two tickets for The Book of Mormon for July 17th totaling at $308 on May 28th. After purchasing the tickets, the description in the app, as well as the automatic calendar reminder showed for the 17th.

After making our way to the theater (with another group of friends who were smart and did NOT use Stubhub), they scanned our mobile tickets only to find that they were labeled wrong, and were actually for the 22nd!

I called Stubhubs support where one woman said all they could do was offer me a credit to use on the next tickets I purchase. I said that was unacceptable and wanted a full refund and to be compensated in some way for their mistake and my inconvenience. She said she cannot do that. I then asked to speak with her supervisor.

After a 5 minuet wait, a supervisor picked up the phone who couldnt care less about the inconvenience and wasted evening Stubhub had created. Her only resolution was to refund my tickets and give me a 10% discount on my next purchase! I told her I wanted a full refund and for Stubhub to comp two tickets for another show because of the inconvenience. She said they cant do that because they are just a reseller, but I could still get 10% off.

I took the refund and told her I do not want the 10% discount because I will NEVER use Stubhub again. I was shocked how little they cared about their error and that they had the audacity to think I would be a returning customer.

Anyways, I hope to see The Book of Mormon one day, but will absolutely not be purchasing the tickets from these idiots. I recommend anyone who reads this look at Ticketmaster, Seat Geek or Vivid Seats instead.

Will Never Use Them Again
September 26, 2017

This is my first and last time using StubHub. I purchased tickets for a music festival that is scheduled October 6th-8th in June. I waited several months for my tickets to arrive, and when they did not, I contacted StubHub customer services. I was told by the representative who answered that my order had been cancelled due to an error on StubHub's part, and he apologized that I had not been contacted. He assured me they would find me more tickets and would notify me by email within 48 hours. I waited 48 hours and had not received a response from StubHub. I called that night and was told my order had not been processed, and StubHub did not have tickets for me. They offered to refund my money or issue my a coupon. After I had some choice words with the representative and explained that none of those options were helpful, he told me they found more tickets they could send via FedEx within 3 business days. Since today is Tuesday, I said okay. I was on the phone an entire hour with StubHub. When the representative returned, he told me my tickets would be delivered the day before I am due to leave for the concert (the concert is out of town). He assured me they would be there, but since I was assured tickets the week ago, I am skeptical. On top of the stress of preparing to leave town, I know have to wonder whether or not I even have a reason to go, and I will not know until the very last minute. I am very disappointed in the fact that in 3 months, no one bothered to notify me about the botched tickets. When I called for assistance, I was told they were going to do something about the issue, and they did not, and I had to call again to learn that they hadn't done what they said they were going to. Supposedly I have tickets coming. I was initially told it would take 3 days for them to get here, and now I learn it will be the day before I leave. This has been stressful and inconvenient. I will NEVER use StubHub again, and I DO NOT RECOMMEND them in any shape, form or fashion. BUYER BEWARE!

For a company such as stubhub which boasts "It's simple: We back every order so you can buy and sell tickets with 100% confidence" this could not be further from the truth from what I found out one fateful evening.
I purchased 4 tickets for a band in concert that I had been looking forward to seeing for years. When we arrived at Barclays center just before showtime we were denied entry only to be told the tickets were already scanned to someone else. How can this happen? They were apparently sold twice. I called Stubhub customer service and after being put on hold several times, 20 minutes later the supervisor said if we purchased new tickets we would be "refunded and credited for the new tickets" since they (Stubhub) did not have any others to sell. At that point the box office at Barclays Center said they didn't have any extra tickets to sell. They had to get their manager who somehow miraculously saved the day and found 4 extra tickets they were holding to sell. The manager at Barclays Center also said "this happens every night" and "not to buy from Stubhub". Also the people next to us on line were having the same problem.
After missing a third of the concert I had been looking forward to seeing and getting worse seats than we had originally purchased, I pursued my refund through Stubhub. It turns out they were only willing to refund me the original ticket price I paid, but offered only a credit through Stubhub for the new tickets I had to buy that evening. When they said "credit" to my account over the phone I assumed they meant to my credit card, not to some stubhub account. I spoke with another supervisor today who said under their policy they are not even obligated to offer a credit to my account and I was denied a refund to my credit card. They also claim this is extremely rare. Well, the manager of Barclays Center disagreed with that statement and we observed this for ourselves with another couple standing next to us experiencing the same frustration. If Stubhub had decent customer service and satisfaction guarantee, they would have issued a full refund to my credit card for all of the expenses AND offered something additional for the stress it caused and to make me want to come back. Buyers beware of Stubhub, everyone should know they are at risk of buying invalid seats and not having it resolved properly.

I see all of these bad review so i figured i'd share my i guess you can say mostly good one.

I wanted to buy tickets from ticketmaster for a concert that i really wanted to attend so badly. When i went on the website they didnt have any good seats that interested me so i stubbled upon stubub which i have heard about before so i said why not give it a try. They had tons of tickets for really good seats. So i called stubhub to buy them and the represenitive was very kind, helpful and friendly. We even had a a little conversation about the artist of the concert. She told me my ticket would arrive within 6 days and it ended up coming to my door in two! Acouple days afterward i came across some stubhub reviews that really worried me. They were saying that they never got their tickets or when they arrived to the venue their tickets were no good and would not scan and alot of other bad things that really worried me about my tickets mostly because i was traveling nine hoursout of my way for this concert! I called stubhub with my concern and they reasurred me that my tickets were valid and it came from a former realiable seller. They even had me send them a picture of my tickets to see if they looked ok. That made me feel better but i still had a little doubt. When it came time to enter the venue all of the tickets scanned fine and i had increddible seats for a concert i really enjoyed! The only bad thing is the tickets were a little pricey but it was well worth it! So, so far so good i probably will use stubhub again if needed.
