They made q mistake with my tickets and didn't refund me for that.
August 8, 2023

I bought 7 tickets from StubHub, for Real Madrid vs Milan in LA, when I get there, guess what? All 7 tickets didn't show in the system, AXS told me, StubHub, didn't send it to them, nothing they could do to me, wasn't only me in the stadium who had the problem, me and 20 / 25 persons had the same problem, I had to buy every seven tickets again, and I saw when I bought the ticket in the stadium, in the StubHub was over price too.

I am really disappointed with StubHub, I did two orders, first order was 4 tickets and the second order, was 3, but they offer me only 25% of the second order, the cheaper order, in the voucher, after two weeks of trying to get my refund, they just said,

"We don't owing anything to you, we can offer only 25% of one order, the cheaper one, if you want, because of our policy, you contact us only one day, after the event"

Obviously, I did contact them
One day after the event, the first think, they did me lose half-game, because AXS couldn't find my tickets, because StubHub, didn't send them to AXS, second think, why I didn't contact them on the same day, at the stadium in the game day, had no internet, I leave from there almost midnight, because of traffic. Now they telling me that, because of me, they have nothing owing me, only 25% of $648.97, if I want.

I spend with StubHub almost $1600, +$1200 (I bought them, on the front of the stadium, in a better location than StuHub every seven tickets again), after two weeks of trying to get my refund, they offer me $162.24, and said, we don't owing you anything, wasn't our mistake, total disrespect with the customer and changing us, over princes tickets too, I'll never use StubHub again.

Don't buy from them, they are over price, if you have a problem, you gonna lose 75% of your amount. Because is their policy.

Never use Stub Hub
June 9, 2023

In Las Vegas on our way to Michael Jackson "The One" with two children we attempted to access our tickets and they had not been transferred to us. There were 4 tickets totaling $1944.74 Canadian. (Amazing seats) *Order number *******
We called stub hub and explained that we didn't have tickets but it said on their app to go to will call. The caller said yes, go to "will call." We then proceeded to will call/box office and the staff looked up our seats and said "oh, there's the problem, you purchased from stub hub."
I asked if our seats were still available and they said no they weren't. Please note we were there before the show started.
As our plans for the night were ruined and the kids were devastated we waited until the next day to try to get a refund. I spoke to a friendly customer service representative that did listen to my full story. As I continued to ask questions I noticed the answers appeared scripted and they had no plan to refund us any money or to give us a credit. They kept saying "you should have dealt with the problem before the show" (we attempted to)
I asked for a Manager. I was put on hold for over an hour. Finally a Manager was put on the line.
Once again the person had zero knowledge of the company policy's or why we had no tickets in our "inbox". The conversation was once again just scripted answers.
My wife emailed stub hub the following day with a professional written email that was only factual and her entire stub hub account has now been blocked.
Due to the line of work I'm in I have an app I use to record conversations so I have full taped conversations of this entire experience, screenshots of everything that took place on their app the day of, and phone numbers of the staff I dealt with at the box office.
This honestly is not about the money but the moral of the situation. I don't want to see anyone else ripped off by stub hub. Luckily my family is a "law heavy" family with some really great ideas of how to stop stub hub from taking peoples money.
If you are interested in joining a class action suit against stub hub for monies lost please reach out and contact me by August 7th and we will add you to the file.
We have also given our stories to several journalists who will try to get our story and others in the local paper and we will continue to warn people on as many internet sites as possible. This will include a full social media campaign.

The worst customer service I've ever had.
November 6, 2022

We wanted to attend the BLACKPINK concert in Hamilton in November. My friend purchased the tickets and she received a payment confirmation from PayPal saying she bought the tickets. One day before the concert, she still didn't have her tickets and she was worried. She looked at the purchase she made on the site and it was written the order was canceled. With no explanation. We called them for the first time and the man told us there was nothing he could do about it. We were sad, but we didn't give up on it, since we haven't received the cancellation mail from StubHub, and it was unfair they haven't told us before we didn't get the tickets. We called a second time and then asked for the manager. After like 15 minutes of waiting, the manager told us she will resell the tickets on the site for the same price so we can buy them and get the tickets we couldn't get. She told us to wait MAX 30 minutes, and it was supposed to be done. We were refreshing the page for the WHOLE 30 minutes, plus we refreshed it for another like 10 minutes, to be sure we waited for THE WHOLE 30 minutes. We didn't see the new tickets, so we called AGAIN. After 15 minutes of talking, the ma'am told us we had to wait for about another 10 to 15 minutes MAX until her coworker is finished with our file. We were ONCE AGAIN, refreshing the page for the next 30 minutes, hoping they will finally do something about it and so we can finally go to sleep. I guess you guys already understand it doesn't finish here. We called back ONCE AGAIN, and the ma'am told us we had to wait and that she couldn't do anything about it. We called a few more times after this, hoping someone finally helps us. Until we spoke to the last person, which turned out to be a disastrous call. She told us she couldn't do anything about our situation, which was obviously a lie, since the previous manager told us we could have our tickets for the same price. She didn't stop talking, telling us, we dont understand what she's trying to tell us. I had to reexplain the whole situation to this ma'am, but her only answer at the end was: sorry, i can't help you with that anymore, its currently 12:14 and we're closing at 12. We told her that she had to do something because there was no way we waited for 2 hours to get our tickets, just to be told she can't do anything about our situation. Guess what she did at the end of the call? She hung up on us. She told us good night and hung up.

So i wanna tell you guys, dont buy your tickets on StubHub. The customer service is horrible and they waste your time telling they can resolve your problems, even tho they never plan on resolving them. The people who rate well the site are just lucky or they were paid by the company. This is a whole good example of why you shouldn't trust them. They ruined our whole journey and my friend couldn't attend the concert because of them.

1st and last time to use StubHub
December 9, 2021

Sellers can cancel the tickets you bought to an event and re-sell them if you do not accept the transferred the tickets right away. There is no place on the website that says you have a time limit, but you do. Through my 2 plus hour phone conversations, I learned that the link to accept the tickets can also expire and the seller then has to be contacted and the whole transaction has to be redone. In my case, the link had not expired (even it it had, this info should be posted on their website), I just thought that since I had already paid for the tickets, I thought they were mine and I could just print them when I was ready. I didn't know I had to accept a transfer and download an app and jump through hoops. It cost me $120.00 more to have to go in and buy more tickets. I have spent over 2 hours of my time on the phone and gotten 3 different stories of what can and can not be done to remedy the situation. I was given a full refund, but that does not compensate for the extra $ I had to spend. Their website says to buy with confidence or get 120% refund, but thats only if the event cancels. If the selller cancels, the buyer is just out of luck. They will tell you there are no comparable tickets available. There are tickets available, they are just more expensive now that the concert is getting closer. So, what they really mean is there is nothing that is the same price or less than what you paid for the same seats and they do not want to incur the extra cost. I was hung up on twice, including while talking to a supervisor. I was not yelling, I was calm and persistant and asked questions, including if she was familiar with the seating chart and where seats would be in a given row for a possible comparable floor section since I was being told there was nothing comparable. I was speaking to the supervisir at this time and got hung up after asking that last question about the comparable seats. I will being calling their coorperate number tomorrow during business hours. Also, even though I accepted the new tickets that I purchased, I still get emails every few hours, every day telling me to accept them if I have not already done so. I was able to confirm that the QR code I have in the AXS app means I do really have tickets and the emails are just reminders as they are a just a 3rd party and have no clue as to when you accept the tickets that were transferred to you. They say they are with you from your purchase "to your seat", that couldn't be farther from the truth.

Tip for consumers:

Accept the transfer the second the seller sends the tickets are really yours and you get to attend the event w/o having to pay more later and the seller can't up and cancel the sale on you.

Buyer Beware
August 10, 2021

I will attempt to make this as short and to the point as possible. I purchased 2 tickets to a show that was canceled due to "covid". At first all appeared normal. The show was listed in a "to be announced" status and I was sent an email saying the show would either be officially canceled or rescheduled for a new date. After reading the email I was informed I could receive a 100% refund for a canceled show or I could choose to have 120% credit to use for other tickets. Fast forward over a years time and the show still is listed as a "to be announced" status. I called in to customer service informing them that the entire tour had been canceled over a year ago and this was public knowledge. I later realized that the "to be announced" status is the loop hole to keep from having to issue a refund. There is no deadline or time frame that they have to operate in. They can leave a show as "to be announced" indefinitely without any buyer security. You can not resell tickets unless there is a new show scheduled and you can not receive a refund unless the show is canceled. I brought up this point and was informed that I would no longer be able to recieve a refund even if they did cancel it. The deal that was offered in my email was withdrawn (which stubhub reserves the right to change or modify anything they want as indicated by their fine print). It has been 1.5 years and I'm still out 800 bucks. I contacted the Better Business Bureau and still no luck. Finally a new date is scheduled but it is a different tour with different artists (which is not what I bought tickets for). I called back into stubhub customer service (3hr hold time) finally speak to someone and in two minutes time I was placed back on hold for a half hour. I was told I would be called back if the call was disconnected for any reason. I was trying to sell the tickets to the new show and she assured me she would list them for me and take care of it. She was supposed to list 2 tickets for the price I paid. She assured me this was taken care of and when I asked questions about how to transfer tickets if they sold, she hung up on me and didn't call back. Logging on to StubHub I can see that she listed the wrong show, the wrong city and state, the wrong date, and she had 1 ticket instead of 2. I call back to customer service and was only given the option to call back next day. Today I have been on hold for over 2 hours and still haven't been helped. Stay away from StubHub. I have never been so mistreated. I am absolutely disgusted.

Avoid StubHub at all costs!

Horrible Customer Service
May 19, 2021

I had a horrible experience with Stubhub's customer service. I would be very wary of buying anything from Stubhub if you think there's even a remote possibility that you'll have to engage their customer service team to resolve any issue.

I'd purchased tickets for a show for $650 back before the pandemic, and when the pandemic caused the show to be cancelled, Stubhub came out with a promotion to allow you to either get a full refund or take a credit of 120%. I decided to take the 120% so that I could do fun outdoors activities with my kids (120% of $650 is a lot of money!) The emails they sent out gave instructions on how to accept the offer, but when I logged in those options weren't available to me. So, I called Customer Service...

Several attempts to call failed because I didn't have the time to wait on the long holds (wasn't expecting to wait more than 15min), so I went digging for a customer service email option or even a virtual chat... nothing...

Finally, when an email came out saying the end of the promotion was a few days away, I decided to find a couple hours and just do the hold game. Sure enough, after being on hold for 54min, I finally spoke to a human being. She was perfectly nice, but she told me she couldn't resolve the issue and that she'd need to pass my case on to the technical team.

When I hadn't heard anything in a couple days, I called back, but again the wait times on hold were too long and I didn't get through. Finally, I ended up getting an email saying my money was being refunded, so I called and sat on hold again, until I finally got through to someone.

I then spent longer on the phone with a CS agent who literally kept repeating the same words over an over indicating that the promotion was over (despite my attempts to take advantage of the promotion before it ended) and that they would not honor it. I politely asked to speak with a supervisor after she said she couldn't help me, but she placed me on hold for another several minutes and came back and said there were no supervisors available due to the high volume of calls. I spoke with her more (very politely)... kind of to see how long I could get her to talk to me... it was a game for me at that point since I was never going to get to take advantage of this promotion. I kind of enjoyed just being very polite and seeing if I could get her to see it from my perspective, but she kept reading from a script or something that said "the promotion is over". Eventually, I asked to speak to a supervisor again, and she said "okay" and put me on hold... I was on hold for 15 more minutes, and then they hung up on me.

In all, I estimate I spent about 4 hours trying to resolve this issue, but had no luck despite my very reasonable request and situation. I always believe, having a calm demeanor, showing people on the other end of the phone respect, and being polite is the best way to handle these types of situations, but in this case... with Stubhub, there is no hope of good customer service.

Tip for consumers:

If you think you'll need to contact Stubhub Customer Service for any reason at all.....stay away. Find another way to get tickets.

StubHub's website caused a Fraudulent transaction on my credit card, Scam
November 11, 2019

I went to ticketmaster 2 hours before Garth Brooks tickets were on sale for another city 3 hours from us - Knoxville TN. After hours of waiting in the Cue online, they sold out and was told no tickets left, so then I was referred to Stubhub.com. I was buying 2 tickets but we were splitting them up on 2 different cards for payment, so I had to buy them separately. The first transaction went through and to my surprise a $100 SERVICE FEE. Yes, $100 for 1 ticket? So almost $500 for the first ticket (already RIDICULOUS for any artist). Then, I made sure both seats were available, and logged in to buy my 2nd ticket, where I chose my seats, the price was the same and it was beside the previous ticket I bought in the same section. Ironically what was in my CART at the time, and the card I inputted for payment is NOT what went on the checkout screen. I pressed submit based on what I saw on my screen, but then got an alert from my credit card that a $1200 authorization went through for Stubhub.com! I flipped and called my credit card to say it was fraud after I logged back in to stubhub.com on my account to find they charged 2 MORE TICKETS, not even in the correct section to my original card on the 1st purchase. I called Stubhub, customer service was rude and stated "Well we have no problems with our website". They first refused to transfer me to a supervisor when I asked, then later came back said "All supervisors are in a meeting but one will be calling you back within 2 hours". Just as I thought no one called me back. I called back the next day, same thing, no one called me back after being on hold for 35 minutes. They states "Our policy is No refunds sorry". They did nto even listen to what happened just kept repeating there was nothing wrong with their site. Later in the week, the local news here did a story on Beware of Garth Brooks ticket sales as many have been fraud and had issues with fake tickets or wrong seats charged to their credit card. I wish I had seen this report sooner. I disputed this through my credit card and later got a letter back from stubhub.com through my credit card saying "The ticket purchased was legitimate and my claim was denied". I was VERY UPSET. I have been with this credit card company 11 years. Stubhub did nothing but send my order and a letter from the original order and no one wanted to do anything. By the way, the show is less than a week and I have NO tickets in hand and nothing I can sell to get my $1200 back. And now I have 3 tickets, none sitting together and a total of $1700 between the two purchases on my credit card. It angers me to no end. Am Express also is now disputing a 2nd time with management for me. If I don[t get this resolved I. Will go to the Media here in town as well as post everything I can on social media with my large following about how poorly Stubhub treats their customers and not to use them. BEWARE, use ticketmaster, dont use Stubhub

Horrendous scammer do not buy
October 17, 2019

Absolutely horrendous. I purchased tickets for an event located in Chicago, 15 minutes from me. I received these tickets several days later, after receiving no receipt, and upon opening them, I saw that the venue was wrong; in other words, they were not the tickets I selected. On the email Stubhub states, and I quote: "Make sure your tickets match what you ordered." While I realize this is not exactly an assurance of their customer service department's helpfulness or the overall company's integrity-- hint hint, they have none-- it seems to me the implication is nonetheless that one should call them if there has been an error, and acknowledgement of the fact they indeed, like anyone, can and sometimes do make errors. As such, I immediately called them. Aside from the order ID listed alongside the tickets, I had, as I said, never received a receipt, which in retrospect I suppose should have made me suspicious. Turns out that the performer I was going to see was in downtown Chicago Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, but somewhere else on Thursday. Stubhub had listed the venue in the incorrect place for Thursday, instead listing it as the same location as Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I explained to them the situation, and that since their website was wrong, I hoped they could do something to assist me. It was after all, their error. Unfortunately, and much to their apparent delight, since they never actually sent me a receipt I was unable to prove this. As the prospect of me driving the 4 hours it would take to get to the actual venue was not all too enticing, particularly given that the show started in an hour, I continued to request their assistance. After all, first they didn't send me the tickets in a timely manner and thus I was not able to see that they had made an error on the listing, and secondly, they provided absolutely zero assistance in remedying their error. Instead, a rude, condescending employee suggested I make an account on their website and attempt to "resell the tickets," not an all too likely option given that the show was about to start. I repeatedly explained the situation, and he repeatedly cited that the tickets listed said date and said venue as proof that they were correct. Obviously the tickets said this; my issue was that those were not the tickets I ordered. Claiming that because the tickets are for a certain venue at a certain date and time, it is proof that that is what you ordered is quite the Catch-22. Beware! You may end up with Taylor Swift tickets instead of the tickets to your sports game, and the fact that these are the tickets you received must be proof that this is what you ordered! Stubhub, after all, is infallible! I requested to speak to a manager, and the employee refused to transfer me, instead putting me on a long hold only to come back and state, once again, that they could "do nothing for me." Finally, I created an account on their website, and, what do you know! My (incorrect) tickets were nowhere to be found, despite the charge on my card! I had yet to see, or even conceive of, there being a company with such little principle. StubHub is an absolutely atrocious company. Stay away and purchase your tickets elsewhere and save yourself the headache!

Stay Away from StubHub
June 12, 2019

STAY AWAY
STUB HUB is NOT trustworthy, I learned the hard way that this is the most dishonest company I have ever dealt with. I have used Stub Hub for big concerts in the past & have been a "registered customer" with them meaning I have bought tickets through them with a registered account, they know through their records what I have purchased through them.
Why am I upset? Because of the horrific customer service we received recently with tickets we purchased for a Giants game. Because I have used Stub Hub in the past & have been a registered customer with them, I trusted their business model & what they deliver. We bought tickets a week prior for a Giants game, Stub Hub sent us the email confirmation & we reviewed knowing all we had to do was open our account in their IPhone App. When we got to Oracle Stadium the app didn't recognize us & after a few attempts to open they closed the account while we were outside the stadium & trying desperately to open the account to get our tickets. We called the customer service number & no one answered it was 10 minutes before the game & we were setting stressed that we came from the South Bay & couldn't get the support to get our ticketswe finally were able to reset the account & asked that the tickets be sent to us via text. When we opened the text it only showed past tickets we had purchased not the Giants game tickets! - The tickets we purchased & the company was nowhere in sight to help us. It was now 5 minutes before the game to resolve our seeing the game, we had to purchase new tickets at the stadium. The next morning I contacted Stub Hub to let them know what happened & to ask for my refund as it was their mistake that their platform was not working & that their customer service group never answered the phone. I was blown away by their response their customer service reps response was not honest their message was clear they would not refund the money we spent for our tickets! Crazy even after their reviewing my (former) business with them.
In conclusion this is about the most dishonest company I have personally dealt with we are saddened & so disillusioned that this is how they treat their good (former) customers. I want this message to be heard as this is a company that does not stand up to the standards it says it delivers.
