TICKETS - POOF!
April 11, 2023

StubHub couldn't handle TWO concerts. Sent me tickets to a CANCELLED concert instead of the CORRECT concert, THEN told guided me to ALTERNATIVE ticket claim when they couldn't resolve the issue. ALTERNATIVE tickets turned out to be NO TICKETS AT ALL.
Hotel Reservation - Dinner Reservation - Entire Weekend RUINED.
NEVER EVER USE STUBHUB when there's an ALTERNATIVE

Did not deliver

Please stay away from this site. We had a horrible experience. Tickets never showed up. Customer service was horrible and we missed an event that we traveled a great distance for.

I ordered tickets for football games. They got canceled due to covid. No fault of them. I received an email stating I could get a refund or coupon for another event. I called to get a refund. I've gotten nothing but a run around. Got called a very nasty name and hung up on. I called back spoke a survivor who said they would call me back in 2 hours. He didnt. I called back and called a liar by that person. Was told survivor would call back in15 minutes. He never called back. I asked why I am being told now I can only get a coupon. He told me they shouldn't have to pay back everyone money because they would lose money. I was told from someone through I diagram they only refund of its required by law.

StubHub took it cue from Apple in an effort to minimize their customer service costs by directing as many as possible to their so called "community" - aka a group of people who may or may not have valid and useful information. They also direct as many customers as possible to their phone app, but they only support the latest version, so you may or may not be able to upload your tickets if you decide to install their app AFTER you buy the tickets. A TWO HOUR WAIT TIME is not unusual if you manage to dig deep enough into their website to locate their phone number. In general, dealing with StubHub relies on a lot of luck - you may as well forget the event and buy lottery tickets with the $.

DON'T USE STUBHUB
April 4, 2017

My group of friends and I were so excited to go to the Lil Wayne concert in Gainesville, Florida. We bought tickets off of this site spending over $300 and THEY WERE FAKE TICKETS! We walked in the event where we're denied entry (so embarrassing!) and informed of this news. So ridiculous! All StubHud offered to do was refund our money WITHIN 3-5 business days. So here we are, 2 hours out of town, down over $300, and not attending the concert we were so crazy about seeing. Please, please, please protect your money and STAY AWAY FROM STUBHUB!

Ok first of all. Stubhub is marketing company. They are selling for a parent companies. They do not give refund if the show is rescheduled. I bought a ticket for padres vs dodgers on may 7th 2017. Because of weather, the show was cancelled. The game was reachedueled for september 2nd. SEPTEMBER 2ND... I called them for a refund or exchange for a different game. They are telling me they cant do that because they are MARKETING COMPANY. Stupid company. Never buy ticket from them if they cant be responsible for what they are selling.

There is no customer service phone number or email anywhere in the site you can find, so their guarantee is worthless. I never could access my tickets and when I tried to log in it always said my password was wrong. You request a new password and it takes 1 hr for it to send and when you get in your tickets are no where to be found and your money is gone. BUYER BEWARE PRETTY NANE TERRIBLE SERVICE...

I am now partial to StubHub.

As a buyer, I never experienced any issues purchasing concert or sporting event tickets. I was cautious when choosing my ticket purchases as well, however. In one instance, the seller listed the basketball tickets I purchased as "instant download" but in fact they were real tickets. StubHub identified and intervened and had the seller UPS overnight the tickets to me. So, as a buyer, I have not experienced any issues.

As a seller, I now can paint a different picture. I just sold my first set of NCAA basketball tickets. I listed them yesterday and they sold today, but $10 less per ticket than the price I listed them for. I immediately contacted StubHub customer service, they implied it could be a system error or it could be a seller error. I immediately replied that I have an email confirmation, i. E. proof, of the ticket price I listed them for. A few minutes later, the agent said StubHub will issue me payment for the difference but will take 2 to 3 business days. I just cleared this up today, and so I can not comment on whether StubHub has lived up to their commitment of issuing me funds for their screw-up...

Don't ever trust this site. Even my bank said they do all types of stop payments on stubhub. From the purchase to seat, what a joke. I stood out side never got my tickets. NEVET, I MEAN NEVER TRUST THIS SITE! ⁸

This company is absolutely the worst at customer service and sales. Their staff are unable to communicate effectively. They do not deliver! THEY DO NOT LISTEN OR LOOK AT THE WRITTEN DOCUMENTS WHICH VALIDATED MY DISPUTE. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST AT CUSTOMER SERVICES. I would highly recommended TICKET MASTER AND VIVID SEATS.
I strongly recommended that you do not use this company. My account was compromised and tickets purchased without my consent or knowledge. I was not even in the country at the time of purchased. They shut the account down and then held my tickets hostage that were legitimately purchased. Fortunately, I had written email confirming the order and disputed through client services at Chase. They sell without delivery.

I would implore anyone seriously considering to purchase tickets from this website to instead buy them from a genuine source.

My e-tickets were available for me to download, print, and attend Download festival 4 days before the event. However, I was emailed the day before the event and informed that the tickets were not valid for entry into the festival. Being informed less than 24 hours before I was to depart was appalling, and the attitude of the customer service staff that I spoke to on the phone was even worse.

Stubhub's resolution to my problem was to attend the event a day later, as their was always a slim chance that the seller could post actual tickets via special delivery. A string of hope and an empty promise from a company that has taken payment for a product they were unable to deliver.

So here I am, a day before the festival, letting down 4 other people that were suppose to be attending with me and needing me for transport. And £160 out of pocket.

Stubhub's guarantee to refund me within 3-5 working days does not fill me with hope, considering their "fanprotect guarantee" also apparently ensures the ability to enter the event on time and for tickets to be valid for entry.

A horrific demonstration of customer service and reliability from a first time user of Stubhub. Anyone reading this review would be foolish to consider purchasing tickets from a company that cares less about having fans attend event, and even less about about customer service.

I purchased two floor seats to a wizards game below face value from stubhub over a week prior to the game. My card was charged and tickets confirmed. Since they were vip floor seats I made travel arrangements and hotel accomodations. Both my wife and I also coordinated a day off work. Approx 24 hours before the event StubHub notified me the seller cancelled the tickets. Within 24 hours I didn't have enough notice to cancel travel or hotel so I was forced to accept the replacement tickets which were no where near the floor in the 200 level since they were comparable in price. Well 24 hours before the event all prices are much higher then a week or two out so the tickets are no where near as good. I applaud StubHub and their policy, customer service was great. The fact they let sellers cancel the day before the event when I had the tickets for over a week, that could have been cancelled much sooner is unacceptable. I don't blame the stub hub customer service team they were great, I blame their terrible policies that allow greedy sellers to make money and screw normal people. I won't be using stub hub again and I recommend nobody make plans such as hotel and travel dependant on tickets from stub hub.

Purchased tickets thru StubHub for a college basketball game yesterday. Was sent a "Thanks for your order" email and then a "Your Tickets are Ready" email. I assumed the second email would be usable at the gate but no: i had to try to get the ticket with the all important QR code extracted from their site. I tried multiple times with my email (the same one they used) and a pass word but could not make it work. Then tried to reset my password, which it said that it did (and sent to my email) but i never received the new password email. I could not get into the event. I bought 2 additional tickets at the gate.
Very frustrated with the quality of interaction with their site, with the instructions on the email, the lack of clarity, and now a statement from their customer service personnel that they cannot refund tickets for a past event. I NEVER USED THE TICKET! Certainly they can tell?
Very dissapointed in their interface, and in their false claim to back their product.
I strongly recommend finding a different source for your tickets.

Paid into wrong Paypal account then lied to me saying do not touch it as after 30 days it went back to them to transfer to correct account. After promise to pay correct account adopter first problem sorted they still paid into wrong account. NOW NOT PAYING ME AT ALL. I'm a top seller!?

HORRIBLE. NO ONE WORKED WITH ME ON ANYTHING. THEY SENT MY TICKETS TO THE WRONG FREAKING STATE. I ALMOST DIDNT MAKE IT TO MY CONCERT. FANPROTECT IS NOT A REAL THING. THIS SITE SUCKS. EVERYONE BUY FROM TICKET MASTER. THEY ARE GOOD.

Stub-snub!
September 11, 2016

Bought 2 tickets to a concert in NYC for $650+ three months before the event. Site said I could download the tix a week before the event. When I went to get the tix I was locked out of my stubsnub account. I called and was told that the tickets I bought were not available but they could replace them with seats 15 rows further back (for the same price). I will never NEVER never NEVER use stubsnub again.

Eric Church was playing here in Spokane this March. Last minute, I decided I would spend the money to get a floor ticket because it was a concert I did not want to miss. After I entered my card information, and it looks like it all went through, I went to "view and print" and was shocked when it lead me to a page that told me I did not have the tickets! Being that I was in the parking lot of the arena at this point, I was extremely disappointed. Later that week, I noticed my account was charged over $100. Sure enough, it was Stubhub! When I called to get my account refunded, thinking it would be any easy fix, I was furious when they refused to refund me. They told me that everything looked confirmed on their end and that the tickets were readily available immediately after payment. I assured them that was DEFINITELY not the case. They proceeded to tell me that I should have a confirmation email. I, to this day, have zero emails from Stubhub. After about 30 minutes talking with customer services, they told me someone would contact me within 24-48 hours to get it sorted out. Needless to say, I never got a call. I will be disputing this charge through my credit union. I will never use them again and I most certainly will be steering others away as well.

Stub hub is the worst company to use for tickets, if you buy tickets from stub hub and the event gets canceled and or postponed to a later date which in my case got rescheduled till sept 2021 and it's on July 2020 right now and I'm not able to make the new dates, they will not let me exchange for in store credit to different nor it is IMPOSSIBLE, to get a refund, they find every way to keep your money and will not ever give it back, the only option they gave me was to sell the tickets on stub hub, like what the f*** is that? How can I sell tickets to an even that isn't even going on for another 14 months, no one is buying these tickets for a good 12 months so my 850$ is just sitting with stub hub, thanks a lot, stub hub is garbage don't waste your time

Guaranteed My Foot!

I ordered tickets for a birthday present for my niece. She got to the venue to find out the tickets were already in use. It took 4 hours on the phone and multiple emails to even get a refund!
