I purchased tickets to an event Columbus Ohio and which the main headlining band canceled. The band was replaced with two bands in which I'm not interested in the event in which the tickets could have been purchased from initially was offering refunds for any tickets bought through them i e the seller that the tickets were purchased off of through StubHub. After calling StubHub and talking to them they refuse to refund telling me that the seller would be out money ( not the case). I was then told I can resell the tickets through StubHub and which the big band that was playing at canceled there for the tickets were not selling well at all. So in the event you purchase tickets for a football game that may have been cancelled and the venue decides to have a Soccer game that day instead. Stubhub would tell you that there is still an event going on and its not a reason for the tickets to be refunded. Even if the venue is offering refunds. The person even promised me a refund with online support only to call me and tell me that there is nothing they can do other than try to sell the tickets

I purchased tickets from StubHub for a stray kids concert that happened on June 29,2022, at Pruduential Center NJ. When I purchased the tickets, the seller transferred them, but immediately rescinded them, scamming over 400 dollars. I've called StubHub numerous times for a refund, and they've given me empty promises of the legal team responding with a refund. It has been 6 months since this issue started with no refund in sight. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM STUBHUB. THEY DO NOT HELP THEIR CUSTOMERS.

Whew. Where to start? StubHub sold 7 of my Harry styles tickets. I transferred said tickets to buyers... come to find out my account was charged 720 dollars for "cancelled" tickets. And then again 343 and then again 620. All while receiving emails saying my transfers to the buyers were complete and to go accept money that's not there. So far I am owed over 3 thousand dollars from StubHub plus the overdraft fees in my bank account that I refuse to resolve. They will be paying me for my time, bank account fees, tickets and charges they took from my account. Mind you my bank is not connected to my StubHub account my PayPal account is. So how does that even work? To make matters worse I've called for 4 days now and have been on hold for 5+ hours each time with NO CONTACT with an actual human. Just a dumb $#*!ing robot asking me my phone number over and over again. I've reached out on Twitter, Facebook Instagram and StubHub's help app. The company is the worst company I've ever come in contact with. I want my money and then some. CALL ME THE $#*! BACK STUBHUB. I have proof of all purchases, acceptance emails and so on. I'd post them but it has my information and buyers information. Call me and I'll show you stupid $#*!ing StubHub. I wish I could give you zero stars. You deserve no stars you piece of $#*! company. And piece of $#*! customer service.

This site does NOT put anything about them being a middle person when you go to buy the tickets I had not idea. They held my money then would not release tickets or notify me until a few hour before the concert that the seller was not giving us our tickets. Stub hub held our money on 2 tickets that they do not own nor have in their possession. They lied said they would contact us with new tickets and give us a link to cancel which they didn't. They are badly organized and basically hold peoples money on tickets that aren't theirs nor do they even have the tickets. They wasted alot of my time driving 2 hour drive to concert to find out a few hours before the show there were no tickets BEWARE DO NOT USE THIS SITE NO MATTER WHAT YOU WILL REGRET IT LIKE WE DID THEY COULD CARE LESS ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Don't use StubHub!
April 20, 2017

In March 2017, I placed the order for 4 tickets of BPL football game (Southampton vs Man City) which was taken place in Southampton on 15 April. I was charged for the full payment immediately after my placing of the order. It was promised that the tickets will be delivered to the hotel in London where I will be staying. Accordingly, I've also bought the train tickets which brought me from London to Southampton in the early morning of 15 April as well.
However, the tickets still didn't arrive at the London hotel at the time we left London in the morning of the day of the game, even after several push by us to their customer service (who was just saying that nothing they could do...) on the day before.
So in the end we can't get the tickets we bought from Stub Hub. End up we bought another 4 tickets directly from the stadium ticket office just before the game at face value (which are much much cheaper than the price we have paid to Stub Hub).
We have been tracing for refund via their customer service, but still no actions from them are seen yet... They just keep saying that actually the tickets did finally reach the hotel at noon time on the day of the game (which is a few hours before the ball is kicked off in a venue nearly a hundred miles away), they have fulfilled all their responsibilities and so totally no refund at all!
I'm not complaining here about the price or the payment timing, as both of these are known by me before I placed the order. But the delivery arrangement and subsequent customer service and assistance are really terrible.
I feel this like a fraud case by such a company.

I live in L. A, USA I bought 2 tickets for the Wolves vs Aston Villa game (Wolverhampton, U. K) November 10th, 2019.
At the ground my ticket beeped red, IT WAS FAKE!
It took me 6 weeks to get my money back from StubHub, with no apology... on the day I had to buy a replacement ticket away from my friend for full price.
DO NOT TRUST THESE SCAMMERS STUBHUB!

BOYCOTT BOYCOTT BOYCOTT BOYCOTT BOYCOTT BOYCOTT BOYCOTT I want my 1 star back! I have been a customer for 7 years 100% satisfaction. Now they have changed their ticket buying policy. There is no more first come first served, you DO NOT get the tickets you want and are available. You pay your hard earned money to get seat Z and you get the seat A the computer gives you because A is available and comes before Z. Sorry, I am not going to follow this horrible business decision and practice. If the seat I want is available why can't I get it. BOYCOTT until they change this terrible business decision. I can not give any stars as this is totally unacceptable and customer service has turned a blind eye to this practice, they are unsympathetic and uncaring ( they hung up on me rather than deal with my complaints) like corporate America is now. Some one get some balls and change it back to where the customer comes first.

Stubhub stole from me
November 20, 2018

Stubhub stole more than $300 from me. I sold 1 ticket through Stubhub for a Twenty One Pilots concert at Amalie Arena and the buyer accused me of an invalid ticket the day of the concert date. So then I get contacted by Matt through claim support and get charged $300 when the ticket was only worth $100?! I also 100% can ASSURE that it was a valid ticket. I bought it straight from Ticketmaster and I provided my confirmation receipt for it. StubHub's system is extremely faulty. Matt from claim support said that I needed to provide documentation to get my money back. But the only documentation they accept for this is a "full scan report" from the venue. THIS is a complete scam by Stubhub because they know that venues are not allowed to give that kind of information to a third party they do not affiliate with. I was a loyal customer to Stubhub and now I am pissed and hurt. They don't care about a customer's actual situation. Matt from claim support saw me try my hardest to solve this situation and he did NOT care that I had clearly been robbed more than $300 even though I had done everything right. In the end, StubHub only gave me back $89. I'm a broke college student with a part-time job and I can't afford this, I wish I could if not I wouldn't work my $#*! off every day. An inconsiderate company that cheats and I will never do business with them ever again.

I downloaded their app to check out the process of selling tickets. I entered all my info and at the end before posted I hit the back button on my Android phone. The app was not user friendly and I had many issues but in the end did not post the ticket. A few day later I see in my email the ticket sold within hours when it was not even suppose to be on StubHub. Called and chatted with several agents and they all were very rude and did not want to rectify the problem. Basically said they could waive the fee but it is what it is and they are charging me $600 because the listing was posted. After pleading with over 6 agents no one would help me and they blatantly refused to let me talk to a supervisor. I also requested to see my app session and they just hung up on me. BAD BAD COMPANY!

I am a single mother of 4 and cannot afford to just give away $600 when the StubHub app does not even work properly. I even clicked on the links in the email they sent me and they don't work. This was an error and they still steal your money. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM SELLING ON STUBHUB! They steal your money. There are other sites. Please check them out before you are charged for their website/app issues. In the end someone should really do something about this company. I believe if there was an investigation they would uncover a huge scam happening here.

Stub Hub NFL Ticket SCAM!
December 20, 2015

Months ago I bought NFL tickets from StubHub at a location 5 hours away. Arrived at the event yesterday and was informed that my tickets were invalid! They were confiscated immediately and it was explained to me that the seller had RESOLD my tickets on NFL Exchange. Therefore, I paid $200/ticket for something that I could not use. The game was nearly sold out which forced me to spend MORE money to simply get in the doors (my very first NFL game, five hour drive, limited choices). I am now out my original ticket money, my new ticket money, along with gas money and a $150 hotel room.
I called Stubhub immediately after getting the information from the box office. They did promise to process a refund for the original tickets and told me they would also credit 10% for my "inconvenience"... $48... wow what a gesture!... (sarcasm)... Today, I log onto StubHub.com and see that my "inconvenience" refund is showing as a CREDIT to be used on their website for future purchases. Are you kidding me?!?

I have never used StubHub before and I will never use them again. I was told by TWO of the box office reps to NEVER trust StubHub for ticket purchases. They are constantly having to tell people they got scammed. I was advised to only use Ticket Master or to go through the event website directly. Every time you go through a third party you have a 50/50 chance of being screwed... and believe me that is one of the WORST feelings in the world.

Bought tickets for back to back games in St. Louis to see the cardinals play in April 2022. Also purchased a hotel room. While driving to St. Louis called stub hub was advised they were having issues with there system and we would get a email within a couple hours which we never got. Made a second call before the game was told the issue would be fixed to see our tickets on the app before the game. Right before the game we had to go to the ticket window and we're told our tickets were sold! Called stub hub and we're told they could have a manager call us back. Did not get to watch the Friday game. Had to purchase more tickets for the Saturday game per both sets of tickets were sold and not by us! After weeks of calling stub hub we were told the account was hacked into and the email address was even changed in the account! Stub hub refunded the person that hacked into our account the price of the tickets they were sold for! We were told we would have to go to the police station to get a report to reopen the case but we're given no information on what was needed for the report so the police station doesn't even know how to help us! Needless to say we are out 650.00 on two sets of tickets we did not use! Plus 100.00 extra we had to spend to purchase another set of tickets to even be able to attend a game that weekend! Very poor customer service! They are not helpful and do not stand by there 100% guarantee!

Terrible company

This company is truly awful, especially its customer service. I purchased concert tickets, which I never received, despite StubHub claiming (dishonestly) that the tickets had been "transferred." Despite several calls to StubHub support, I still never received them, but they kept telling me to "wait". Finally, two days prior to the show, I contacted support again and they admitted that the tickets had not been "transferred". They further admitted that they couldn't get me the tickets, so they gave me a coupon in the original amount of the tickets. The problem is that since it was so close to the show, it was difficult to find comparable tickets at a similar price. As it turned out, I found some inferior seats for a cost that was significantly higher. Therefore, I had to pay the difference and I had worse seats. Since StubHub claims to 100% guarantee their tickets, I feel like the company should, at a minimum, reimburse me for the additional amount that I had to pay. Otherwise, the "100% guarantee" means absolutely nothing. In any case, I gave StubHub multiple opportunities to remedy the situation, but they steadfastly refused. Buyer beware!

I have had an issue with a gift card I was given and have contacted them via phone multiple times just to wait on hold at least 30 minutes and then have the rep not be able to help and transfer me to a different department that supposedly handles gift cards and then wait on hold again. Then to have them tell me, no the management at the original customer service has to help you and dont let them tell you they cant. Then back into the hold line for 30 more minutes to be told no that other department was wrong and management would not get on phone with me. This has happened very similarly in 3 phone calls and 2 online chat sessions. Just look at the number of negative reviews. They just dont care. I guess they make so much money they dont have to worry about individuals that have problems on their site. Its funny that I followed their directions to precisely while on the phone and it still didnt work and then multiple days later tech support emails me to say something vague and to call customer service for help which I already did >>>>>>>>>>ugggghhhhhh If I ran my business even 20% like this I would be shut down in a year or less. I hate to say it, but I believe I will smile when they eventually do go under because you cant go on forever treating people this way after the money has already been spent with their company.

I purchased 4 tickets to Hamilton. It cost 1,843.15. The tickets were for August 15,2021. The event was rescheduled for February 2023. I was told that if I were unable to go that I could sell my tickets and they would waive the fee. However, I will not receive my money until AFTER the performance. I will have to wait two years to get my money back. I bought the tickets for my 8 year old daughter because she is obsessed with Hamilton. I have no idea if she will still like it in 2 years. I bought tickets for her grandparents so they could see her at her first show. I don't even know if they will be able to attend a show in two years since they are elderly. I called and spoke with a customer service at Stubhub on April 6,2021. She said they would not refund my money. I reminded her that the website claims that the tickets are 100% guaranteed. She said that only applies if the event is cancelled. In a million years I never thought that the show would be rescheduled two years later. That is absurd. I bought the tickets March 24,2021. I understand that we are in a pandemic, but nothing has changed in the few weeks since I bought the tickets. There is no reason that the show should be rescheduled. I strongly feel that Stubhub should reimburse me the money and resell the tickets to someone who wants to go to a show in February 2023. I hope someone brings a class action suit against Stubhub. I can't be the only person who is upset at having to wait two years to get their money refunded.

I purchased 4 tickets for a concert at Madison Square Garden to accommodate some visiting guests who wanted to see a particular artists. We had to purchase form StubHub as the concert was sold out on Ticketmaster. I paid too high a price for the seats we got (that was my choice) but at least we could go. The night of the concert, while we sat at the venue, the concert was cancelled. We had already paid to get to the city, paid for parking and paid for dinner. The concert was postponed until two nights later. Three of the four guest were no longer going to be in the state on that day. StubHub told us to "resell" the tickets. It wasn't likely we could do that in two days for a Monday night. Also, with all the refunds given by Ticketmaster, there where plenty of seats available for face value. There was no way we would have been able to sell our tickets. StubHub did not care and just repeated their "no refund" policy. They obviously only care about the bottom line and not customer satisfaction. It was not our choice to cancel at the last minute. They could have worked out something to help us out but just kept quoting policy.

I sold tickets through this site as I normally used Ebay but this is a sub company of them. Should have read terms and conditions properly I know but, I was more interested in selling my tickets. The sellers commission is 12% per ticket which is pricey and the buyer also pays a commission which is included in the price of the ticket.

Kobe Bryant's Last Game
February 22, 2016

I usually purchase all of my tickets from Stubhub and never had an issue. My boyfriend purchased two tickets to the Lakers vs Bulls game for Kobe's last game in Chicago, which were very pricy. He specifically purchased the ones right behind the basket by the Visitors bench seeing as I'm a Kobe fan and wanted to sit where I had a great view of him. When they scanned our tickets at the door they were showing as invalid therefore they direct us to Guest Services where there are already 50 people in line that have had issues with their tickets. My boyfriend calls Stubhub and is placed on hold for 30 mins and when they finally get on the phone, the replacement tickets they are giving us are across from the visitors bench. I was livid! We purchased those specific tickets for a reason. It seems like the person that was selling the tickets put them on more than one site and sold them twice. They claimed they were going to launch an investigation and contact us. That doesn't help the fact that it was going to be the last time I got to see Kobe Bryant play and they ruined it for me!

Need a phone…they lied to my face

They say you do not need a phone number. Spent 3 hours on friends phone, and not fixed. I need to bring his phone. No q or bar code. Stub told me they will ask me to open the app in front of the ticket venue, because no bar code. So, i told them how, no phone….i asked where in there policy it stats i need a phone.
