The worst ever
I had Spectrum service in Texas. I cancelled and moved to North Carolina more than 6 month ago. We started new Spectrum service in our new home. I paid my last bill to zero balance before leaving and returned my equipment to a store in person. When the service agent received the equipment they dropped it on the ground and said ok you are good. I did not get a receipt nor did I get a final bill for money owed. I got a credit alert today from Experian that said I have a new collection account from Sunrise Credit Service for $417 dollars. I called them and they said that they could not help me other than to pay the debt or contact Spectrum. I called Spectrum because this was a surprise to me since I have never received a bill, late notice, or notification for intention to report unpaid bill balance to collection agency. I spoke with a Spectrum service provider who 1st told me that the collection was because I hadn't returned my equipment. I told them I had and the agent said she would need to do a equipment return search and get back to me. I was not happy with that because I knew that I returned the equipment in person. She put me on hold after voicing my dissatisfaction and came back to tell me they found my returned equipment. She then said oh the collection was from a unpaid bill. I told her I have never received a bill or late notice and that I continue to have Spectrum service. I asked her shouldn't they have given me a final bill if I owed money at time of equipment return. The service agent replied "Yes they should have." I once again voiced my dissatisfaction with Spectrum's business practice. I paid them amount owed and told them that this should be removed form my credit report because I cancelled my service from prior address over 6 months ago and I was never made aware that I had a outstanding bill. She gave me a confirmation number for my payment and a ticket number for reporting back to the credit agency. She told me that it would take 4-6 weeks which is totally unacceptable for someone who takes pride in managing and maintaining their credit. I have also disputed this on Experian credit website. If this is not removed then I will report to better business bureau and seek legal remedy. I am very upset at these corporations who provide their loyal customers with poor service and communication. They just send you to a collection agency. I hope the credit bureau will see what this company is doing and provide protection for the consumer. I will be looking for another service provider when my new home that I am building is complete.
El internet en el área donde vivo(EastLA) está dominado por spectrum. Muchas veces he tenido problemas y es muy difícil que manden un técnico. Estoy desde el día jueves 9:30 Am pidiendo un técnico y ya me avisaron que vendrá el lunes . En serio ellos podrian estar un solo día sin internet? Mi negocio depende del internet y ahora tendré que esperar 4 días para ser atendido.Es decepcionante porque sin internet mis clientes se tienen que retirar.
Llame a Spectrum, hable con representante,Pedi information sobre presios y promociones y resivi la informacion, agradesi por la informacion y que le llamaria luego, se molesto y me dijo que no llamara hasta que supiera lo que Queria, que podia obtener info en spectrum.com, la verdad eso es Nuevo para mi... Quieres desir que Al hablar y pedir presios estamos obligados a comprar los Servicios?
ESTADO TODO EL DIA CAMBIANDO EQUIPOS PORQUE NO ENTRA EL WIFI NI LOS CANALES LA OFICINA SÚPER LLENA Y LENTOS PARA ATENDER EN EL TELÉFONO NI SE DIGA LA MUCHACHA QUE ME ATENDIÓ DIJO ESTO ES SPECTRUM NO NETFLIX ASI QUE EL SERVICIO ES LENTO Y ENCIMA ME ESTAN COBRANDO $50 POR DEVOLVER UNA TABLETA QUE NO ENTRA EL WIFI Y SOLO LA USE 1 DÍA ESTOY HARTA DE ESTE SERVICIO LA PEOR COMPAÑÍA NO SIRVE NADA NO
CUIDADO AL ENTRAR EN ALGUN NEGOCIO CON SPECTRUM MOBILE son una ladrones, me vendieron segun una buena oferta para telefono para a pagar menos, tuve que comprar un telefono nuevo, pero a los 5 dias de estar con ellos me di cuenta que no me habian dado un plan ilimitado como el que me habian prometido, les cancele y debia enviar el telefono que les habia comprado, lo empaquete con mucho cuidado (TENGO LAS FOTOS) dijeron que llego en mal estado y me enviaron fotos de otro telef que no era el mio todo rallado y maltratado, me cobraron $121.00 + $50.00 de no se que en fin el supervisor que se llama SEBASTIAN lo unico que hace es escuchar la queja pero no resuelve nada ni siquiera les intereza, son unos ladrones y delincuentes que le roban a las personas su dinero descaradamente, asi que si no quiere sentirse tan frustrada como yo pienselo dos veces antes de hacer negocios con ellos.
De la noche al dia siguiente llegue a mi casa y no tenia internet llame y empesaron con mentiras para decirme al final que el servicio estaba cancelado porque habia un recalentamiento en el cable despues de tanto insultarme porque me dijeron que no lo podian restablecer me dijeron que tenia que poner fibra optica y que ellos no trabajan con eso y me comunicaron con la otra compañia al final me dijeron que me enviaban una tarjeta con la devolucion del mes y resulta ser que llamo porque no e recibido nada y la respuesta fue que todo lo que me dijeron fue mentira no hay dicha tarjeta y tampoco me van a hacer el renvolso porque yo CANCELE LA CUENTA VOLUNTARIAMENTE no se dejen estafar todos los representantes que trabajan son unos mentirosos y nada lo reflejan consejo que les doy y que yo tambien hare a partir de ahora graven todas las conversaciones que tengan para poder tener pruebas
Ellos son mentioned te dicen un precio para venderte y despues te coobran otro a mi me lo hicieron mi facturas eran 14.99 y me cobraron 41.00.y despues lo subieron a 62.00
Always trying to take advantage of their customers. They lie, cheat, steal with their promotions. Don't sign on because the minute your promo ends, they will hammer you with a bill even greater than a years worth of promotions. My bill went from $267 to $387; they said it is in the fine print of the bill my promotion was expiring. Such shallow and shady business practices for a few dollars. Adios, on way to directv and Verizon for internet.
Last spring, I was told by a spectrum rep "Kayla" that my new rate would be $118/month plus tax. I have never gotten that. Now my bill, after creeping up every month, is at $170 for just internet and tv. They don't give a darn that they lied, only tell me that I've gotten discounts and try to get me to switch my mobile phone "to save even more money." CROOKED.
Answer: They do not care about customer retention. That being said. I have to believe it is the poorest business model I have ever come in contact with.
Answer: They could give a shit - they create a monopoly in the area and do whatever they want - raise the rate, intimidate, and are very rude and no help to customers!
Answer: You're smart to stay with FIOS. Spectrum is the worst cable company around. They're very expensive and your bill will start creeping up every other month without any explanation. Avoid Spectrum!
