Service tech came, installed equipment and service at 12:30PM. Scheduled for 9:30AM. Work is complete, but aprox. 45 minutes after he leaves a problem comes up with my central TV service. No pic, then no sound, then nothing. I called customer service@ 3PM and they tried a number of remote fixes, all of which failed. So I am told to expect a call from dispatch in 10 to 15 minutes. This call comes at 5PM while I am on the phone to customer service asking why they haven't called as promised?
So, I am told this time that they do not call in 15 minutes but about 90 minutes. So, I call them back at 7:15, after NOT getting the second call I am promised. The manager, Chris, assures me that I will get a call in 90 minutes from the time I hang up. This is now 7:50PM. I call again at 9:40 PM to see where my promised call is. While on hold, I am chatting with someone at Spectrum. Same nonsense, can't help you, but will put in an order, you will get a call in the morning. Well, I have not gotten three calls today that I was promised. They lie, and they put you off, and they do not take responsibility for actually coming back and fixing the problem. I haven't even had the service an hour!

Do not use spectrum. You will get no help with your problems. No comunication between departments, promises made for some other department over which they don't even have control. They said the dispatchers would call me but didn't have a phone where I could call them? The whole structure made to provide cover for giving the customer the shuffle. +

I have wi -fi internet service with spectrum. Spectrum now offers mobile service. I contacted spectrum on 7-19 to inquire about mobile service. The sales rep set up an new order. I called spectrum back the next day to request an adjustment be made to order as I wanted to cancel out order. The rep stated order would automatically cancel out. I followed up on 7-22-19 and spoke with another rep that advised me to place a new order. I placed a new order thinking everything was good. I received email requesting additional information needed to process and provided to spectrum. At this point no money had been taken out of my account for purchase. Later that afternoon I called again spoke with different rep that informed payment was applied for order and I should receive email with tracking number order details and delivery date and that the other order was canceled. I checked my account and noticed that I was charged twice. I was livid and called back once again got different rep that told me that since payment was processed for both orders I just had to wait to receive in the mail and refuse order and then wait for spectrum to receive package back before I could receive a refund. I continued to call back and got the run around from different reps and finally got a supervisor that tried to somewhat assist with canceling wrong order but was unable to because both orders were already mailed out and payments processed. So now I'm just left in limbo waiting for packages to arrive out my residence and refuse the wrong order and then for it to be returned back to spectrum, then wait two more days before spectrum will refund my money back. It just feels like spectrum is running some type of scam just taking money and processing an order in spite of customers request to cancel. I think it would be in my best interest to take my business elsewhere.

Since the pandemic ive been working from home mostly. The last 6 months my internet drops 1, 2, 3, times an hour. We have replaced my pc, we have replaced the modem 3 times, we have replaced the router, the line from the box coming into the house and we have replaced the drop twice. After all this still no better connectivity. Ive had my IT person here while spectrum was here. I had to schedule appts with neighbors so spectrum can get into their yards and spectrum no calls and no shows us. Apparently getting "MAINTENANCE" out is the key and boy are these guys guarded like a hawk. They were supposed to come by yesterday still havent heard from them. Getting to the point of being able to have "MAINTENANCE" come out in the first place is like winning a gold metal. This is ever other day of 45 minute calls to spectrum and being told one thing then the techs arrive late and say something completely different. 6 MONTHS LATER AND IT IS STILL NOT FIXED NOR DO I HAVE AN APPT AS TO WHEN IT WILL BE... good luck. HURRY GOOGLE FIBER... ATT IS BETTER THAN SPECTRUM!

STAY AWAY.

There is no other company out there that ticks me off more than Spectrum does. Spectrum, as a company, has to be one of the most frustrating internet providers I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. There will be a few days I have a decent internet connection and then all of a sudden my internet goes off multiple times a day with no ETA on fixes or terrible excuses as to why it is down. Customer Service is always extremely unhelpful and provides the same useless tips to reset your router over and over again, and they really don't give a crap. Once, my internet was down at the same time of day (12 PM) for 4 freaking weeks, no explanation as to why. Even then, while we were still trying to force Spectrum into fixing our shotty internet connection, we still had to pay for a full month of service despite it being down for 4 weeks with no explanation. Also, their monthly bill keeps increasing by the month to the point where you're probably going to have to pay an arm and a leg to continue using their service. A technician came down, replaced the router, and then left. Our 200mbps internet speed didn't even last 4 minutes until it went down again, and even then it seemed to be going off even more frequently. Now, our internet is at incredibly slow speeds, goes off 10+ times every single day, and is frankly horrible service for a horrible price. And those commercials they air on TV are not only insufferable, but also full of blatantly obvious and unforgivable lies any normal customer would know for a fact is not true. Once our internet was at 0.03 mbps download, 0.16 mbps upload. Also, they run a monopoly in my area, which means they are the only choice of service and only service that is not ridiculously overpriced. How is this allowed? How is a company able to get away with such scummy business practices? Spectrum doesn't deserve my money, and they sure as hell don't deserve yours. If you are looking for an ISP for your household, stay clear away from Spectrum. Also, if you're on Spectrum, do a favor and either cut their service and find a new one if one is available or move and get Google Fiber in places it is available. Let Tom Rutledge burn his own company down into the deep dark fires of hell where it belongs.

I started with Spectrum internet and voice (only) on 8-27-2020 and canceled on 11-02-2020. On my first bill there was an erroneous charge for "Service Changes" iao $61.44. I called and they reversed the $61.44, along with $11.86 in "taxes, fees, and charges" smh. Throughout the first month I kept receiving email notifications that someone had added Spectrum TV. Of course they didn't make correcting any of this easy: I had to spend hours on the phone, and even drove to their office on one occasion to have the billing corrected each time. I finally cancelled my services on 11-02-2020, expecting a prorated final bill because they bill a month in advance. Well, when I called to cancel, no one mentioned that I would not receive a prorated credit, eventhough I specifically said that I would be waiting on my final prorated adjusted bill to pay it. So now, I am stuck with a full one month bill from 10-27-20 through 11-26-2020, eventhough I cancelled by phone with their customer service representative on 11-02-2020. Something told me not to get their services because they have allowed my debit card to be fraudulently used to pay for someone else's services without my knowledge or consent. And lets not forget that the first bill I received, as their customer, had over $70 added erroneously for "service changes" and "taxes, fees, and charges". I know that as consumers we have protections when our credit and debit cards are fraudulently used, but what about the elderly who do not pay such close attention to their statements or have the time and energy to drive around and make hour long phone calls to Spectrum? Everyone, please, if you get their services, pay close attention to your bills, the "terms of service", and your bank and credit card statements in general. If I can help it, I will never order Spectrum again - their business practices are shady.

What happened whit spectrum was very good service now worst customer service ever worst than frontier i have problems with my phone lines for 5 days and im pizza shop my business is based on phone lines and nobody can fix for 5 days and nobody can give my answer when they gonna be fixed i call technical support department about 20 times no answer from them very rude employs they tald just seat and wait when i get tired to talk to just employs i ask to transfer to supervisor or manager they just hang up on me they did 3 times one guy left note for supervisor is told me supervisor call back in 45 min but supervisor never call me i placed 3 work orders on aug2 aug3 aug 4 for technician to come to my restaurant to check for the problems al those 3 days nobody show up and was placed 3 work orders on sat i receive call from dispatch and she told me technician comes sunday in the morning i ask her maybe i can change the time and o y god i heard from her what i never dont heard in my life she was so rude looks like she want to fight my on the phone i was paying $200 a month for the service HORRIBLE SERVICE what HAPPEN whit spectrum they have to bring back bright house back

Just got off the phone with Spectrum for the last time. I've wasted so much time dealing with them on the phone throughout my subscription.
First of all the customer service is one of the worst I've experienced. They don't actually take notes or leave a record of your conversation/ transaction, you'll just find out in a few months that your plan was changed without you knowing. But when they do leave a note it's very selective. So much frustration with these clowns
Got tired of the internet service, it's slow and there's so many outages -you can't even be prorated for. The cellular service is unreliable, there's a 5g symbol next to the reception bars on the phone but it's bs. They don't have 5g. It's the slowest internet out there. They offer unlimited internet but if you go past a certain amount of data they slow down your service. That's like going to a restaurant where it's all you can eat but you have to wait 24 hours to get another serving. It's bs. It's not unlimited. Because it is exactly limited.
I spoke to an associate about turning my internet service off and I got off the phone. 2 months later I get a bill about my internet service which is still on and I'm still on auto pay. Despite seeing that there was no activity coming from my home and the modem not even connected they still wanted to bill me. And despite the fact that I called and cancelled it two months prior.
Then let me tell you about spectrum tv which I never signed up for but when I upgraded my cell phone some idiot $#*!-ociate signed me up for a triple bundle tv, internet and mobile deal I want aware of. I don't even watch tv, and once again, when I told the supervisor that she can check with tech support that there was never any activity on my cable box -I've never even seen a cable box, she didn't care and just wanted my money.
So screw you spectrum, you're the worst service I've had and I'm glad I won't be giving you anymore money. You guys suck! You guys are greedy.

The 1 star goes out to some of the service reps have been so kind and helpful over the years. However the company BADLY needs a revamp. I was stuck with them for over 3 years because they were the only company that offered wifi in my area. But let me tell ya, the minute I could cancel, I did. First off, they send you the whole "package" to get started, but don't tell you you'll still need to buy more equipment in order to connect, or "rent" it from them for a higher monthly price. No-go. I didn't give them the satisfaction of trapping me in a higher monthly rate, so I went to the store and bought the equipment. Once I was connected, it was the incessant phone calls trying to convince me to bundle more subscriptions. When I told one lady that I don't watch enough TV to justify their subscription, she laughed and told me she knew I wasn't being truthful. Bro. I was in grad school. The periodic netflix sitcom while I wrote a paper was few and far between. Don't try to "catch" me in a lie just because your business tactics are distrustful. You're projecting.
Second, my monthly "no-contract" rate was 44.99 for over a year. Then suddenly it was 54.99, then 59.99, then 64.99, then by the time it was 79.99, I was finally able to get out from under them. If it was just one price jump I would have assumed I had missed something in the fine print and connected during a promotion and not remembered, but multiple? It was like they were hoping I wouldn't notice. No telling if they would have kept going up.
Third, when you try and cancel or reduce services they will literally argue with you. One piece of advise, just keep repeating "I would like to cancel my service" every time they ask you a question that is none of their business. They will ask you how much you pay for phone, what kind of TV you watch, if you have roommates, where are you moving... etc. I thought through my circumstances, dude. I just want to f*cking cancel.

My renters decided on Spectrum. Since cable had been there in the past it seemed fine. One lone tech came out (after dark)and said there was no internet connection and "something else" would have to be done. Suddenly (w/o notice) there were long cables running on top of the yard. This is the end of Nov and the grass had been aerated, seeded, fertilized. It then rained heavily so I called to find out why a new main cable was run from my box to the neighbors when it was found 2 years ago and was fine then. I asked them to please wait for the yard to dry up. They assured me that they would make sure that happened
And someone would be in touch. Five calls and discussions later, promises to meet me and talk, they came out and brought heavy equipment across the yard, making ruts in it, messing up the new grass, trampling etc. All with little or no communication with the renters or me. The dispatch man in charge got a cable CNT (someone in management)on the phone. The first cable had already been laid without utility lines drawn after they told me no one would go on the property to lay a cable until they called me and it dried up. The Dispatch manager maintained that nokne jad given them any message to contact me. He said the company told them it had been marked. Do you think the installer could see it had not? After two weeks of calling and talking to people who all knew nothing and said they did I was met at the property by the CNT who could see the damage done to the lawn. It only added to my frustration his lack of apology and eagerness to repair the yard, as well as his lack of
Concern about the poor communication within Spectrum's company. Due to my insistence he says they wil "tamp the rutted areas and throw grasseed down". It needs Dirt in the rutted areas however he made it clear that would not happen.

Spectrum internet and cable services are the worst I have ever seen. I have had them going on 2 years and have never had to call in the technician so many times. I feel like the little boy who cried wolf but in this case, I am certainly not lying. I have called so many times about the DVR box. They changed it out so many times. 3 to be exact and the 4th one I have still doesn't work properly. I am just appalled at any services they have to offer. Each tech that comes out says they have fixed the problem and it will work as long as they are at residence. Soon as they leave the same problem they came for exists. AWFUL! Don't start me on the internet service. The intermittent internet service is so awful and constant that I give up on this completely. Every time I get on the internet, the connection is gone. I reset, and reboot over and over and over again. This service is the worst I have seen. At this point, I am just giving them my hard earned money. Money I could be paying on something worthwhile. The area I live in is a prominent area and cable/internet should have no problem connecting to the cell towers. But SPECTRUM is absolutely the worst. They make me want to pull out my hair with their terrible service. Not to mention I work from home and need the internet and Spectrum's service almost made me lose my job. I'm up late at nite trying to catch up when the service does work because it hardly does. I feel Spectrum owes me money for all the stress its terrible service has caused me. People if you want cable and internet, do not go with SPECTRUM. They are the worst. Save your money, because it isn't worth spending it on Spectrum. It is 4 am on 28 Sep 2022 and I cannot wait till morning to cancel everything with them. ABSOLUTELY WORST SERVICE EVER! TAKE MY WORD, I LITERALLY EXPERIENCED IT FIRSTHAND!

HERE IT GOES, Stand in front of ur cable box hold up ur remote click on systems on/ off button and hold still in place until each of the 5 lights individually and in slow motion go on and wait for it in case that didn't work that probably means u weren't holding the remote right. Do it again it's an absolute joke of a Flinstones system, did spectrum CEO's ever watch the Jetsons maybe they should because everything to do with their TV cable systems, cable boxes and remotes is an absolute joke. Instead of doing commercials telling the locals about how great ur system is they should take that money and update there systems. When I moved here I never thought anywhere in the country there be a crappier cable systems company, but Spectrum is the winner by far. Vero Beach is next door they have XFINITY, Brevard county should let xfinity take over Brevard. I had XFINITY for many years and it's amazing all the things xfinity can do. So here is the final kicker for the same exact service XFINITY is just a tad bit les than spectrum. I'd pay extra just to have XFINITY cable and no longer have to use spectrum's dinosaur cable.

We moved and decided to go with Spectrum services as we had them prior with little issues. Well that was a big mistake. We signed up for the Spectrum TV and Internet bundle. Instead of Spectrum TV boxes, they sent us Apple TV boxes. We called them to report this error, and they said no problem just drop off the Apple TV's unopened to the nearest UPS store. So we did. UPS opened the box to scan the serial numbers of the devises for return. One of the devises is being returned to us because UPS opened the package. Spectrum refused to do anything for us because they said they couldn't prove who opened the package. So I called UPS. UPS verified that the package was brought to them unopened. They said that a Spectrum representative needs to contact them due to their contract with them. So I called back Spectrum who told me they don't do that and I'm basically out of luck. Most of them were very rude over the phone and before letting me explain kept raising their voices over me to tell me I opened the package and there is nothing they can do. I have asked them to go back through the recorded phone calls to hear that we never requested or purchased Apple TV's multiple times. They continue to say they will but I have heard nothing. They also included Spectrum TV on our bill even thought we never even had the service and I have had to make multiple calls to try to correct this. They also left the internet cable across our driveway for over a week which was a safety hazard. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT using Spectrum if possible. They will send you things you don't order and charge you for them. Their customer service department (with the exception of a few who did not have the authority to help) are rude and sarcastic and do not even let you speak.
