I started this service at the beginning of August my phone hasn't worked since then their chips is not compatible to any other phones Spectrum mobile doesn't even work phone calls dropped can't get internet service outside of your home people can't hear you when you're talking or you can't hear them buyers beware don't get Spectrum mobile don't buy their phones don't get their service because it don't work

My family has been a customer of this company / time warner, etc, for over 20 years. During this time their deals are generally much worse than other competitors. Twice their phone agent's literally lied about the service we were to be getting when signing us up for new packages and deals. They do not pro-rate your bill like xfinity does, so when trying to save money by downgrading, they will immediately downgrade your service but still charge you a high rate. Avoid this place if you can.

Every few months my bill gets increased and every time I call to see if I can get a discount since the price is outrageous. The company is willing to provide internet for a lower cost for new clients but not loyal clients who have been paying for years. Extremely disappointed in this company. The internet is not even that great. Save your money and go through a different company.

Spectrum is not worth the price or service.

Worst customer service I have EVER experienced. After spending 30 minutes on the phone yesterday...I finally hung up. Went to the local office to get my concerns addressed...was completely dismissed by a young man who should not be a customer service person. Finally got my bill today {March 5th} for a bill that is due March 11th. Obviously the checks I've written to Spectrum {Time-Warner} for the past 30 years or so mean nothing.I cannot hardly wait to find anyone else who wants my check.

Started paying four years ago at $50. They've been increasing their Internet prices. I now pay $100 for that same service with no upgrades or new hardware. They take advantage of existing customers. My opinion of them is as bad as NYSEG with this obvious robbery. Lack of competition gives them a wallet stiffy, and we are the ones getting violated.

Actually the worst internet provider and service I've ever had in my entire life, and I've switched in between like 5 within the past 4 years. Switches off every 2-3 minutes on my cellular device for no reason and I have to turn the wifi on and off for it to work again. I supposedly have 1000 mbps but that is a blatant lie I'd be surprised if I was even getting 400 this sh*t is slow asf. Not to mention that they always have outage issues as soon as there's a tiny gust of wind. Completely ridiculous horrible company please please please never provide them with any business or help let them and their atrocious company rot.

Spectrum has been there every time. Just today I was experiencing a problem with the Router and through chat customer service they sent someone named Neil who was friendly, courteous and showed concerned. He did everything in his power to make sure that everything was in working order. Thanks Neil and Thank you Spectrum.

Horrible customer service and phone connection! Also they charge you for the whole month if you switch service. I didn't know it but I switched to t-mobile and I learned after that even though I only had spectrum mobile for a few days of the month, they charged me for the whole month! Total scam! Avoid Spectrum mobile at all cost!

I had the TV/internet bundle because it was my only option. I dropped the cable but had to pay for an extra month due to poor customer service and being given the run around when calling Spectrum. The internet cuts out often. As someone who works from home and has video calls all day, I often have to use my phone as a hot spot because the call will freeze. The service is incredibly expensive, but it is my only option for now. I cannot wait until the local company moves into my area so U can drop them all together!

Tip for consumers:
If you use the chat service, they do not save a transcript. If you call them on the same day, they do not record the call (or so they say). They also transfer you to “managers” but then do not actually do so because, as I discovered later, the calls are not being recorded. Customer service is a farce.

Spectrum is not clear in their pricing when movies or "TV shows are chosen. They charge for normally free TV programming and my roommate requested Just the internet/WIFI. They make it too easy to choose TV shows/movies racking up costs. $273.92 is a high price for cable and or internet. I have had previous experience with them. It is sad that people are warned to stay at home practice social distancing etc. and get charged prohibitive fees to have some entertainment while we are home.

I prefer contracts because Spectrum continues to increase its prices several times per year, for different and sometimes the same reasons. At least with contracts, you'll definitely know what you'll be paying for the length of your contract. Not having a contract helps them more than the consumer. When I bring this to their representative's attention there's never a response. I've even asked for a contract, but you know the answer. Other than that, they have good customer service, so overall, in my opinion, they're decent.

Having been a customer for 37 years now, I am treated so rudely and my fees steadily increase. Bills are always paid on time, have been a loyal customer and they SCAM me at every opportunity. It is outrageous that a company is allowed to operate as Spectrum does. The bill has increased by $36 in the past two months for zero reason except that they think they can get away with it. Calling the company takes hours of time and going to the store in Newtown is an exercise in incompetence. Save yourself the rip off, manipulation, scam techniques and non-stop aggravation by avoiding Spectrum!

Tip for consumers:
Spectrum is a terrible company that will use sneaky tactics to steadily increase your bill for fewer services. I am treated terribly as a steady customer for 37 years. They do not care how they treat customers.

Literally the worst most unreliable internet.
How many times can you ask me if you can send a technician out? How many times can you swap out my router or blame it on my new equipment? These are the outages confirmed via text message with your staff shown below.
March 13th, March 12th, March 11th, Feb 26th, Feb 22nd, Feb 21st, Oct 27th, July 28th, May 9th. Oh wait half the day and we will send the 14th tech over their to tell you your lines are all working along with your equipment.

I have called Spectrum 3 to 4 times a week since Jan. They were a no show on appointments 4 times, 4 times my 90-year-old Mother sat waiting all day for them. Each time I received a different excuse! Now they say they don't service my Mother's area. So I was told I could get my full refund for 2 phones. Still 2 weeks later, still waiting for the return labels and a full refund! I need to send them a bill for wasting my time and mother's time.
Spectrum worst company I ever dealt with!

Don't waste your time with Spectrum, they don't care about their customers and they lie.

I pay extra to be able to save to cloud extra storage. ALL basketball games (about 2 a week)I scheduled that I wanted to watch in the last 2 months stop at and cannot resume at about half time. When I called to find out what l was doing wrong l was told it was their fault and they were working on fixing it. Period. End of discussion. When l said l'd expect a refund on the extra storage, l was told they wouldn't and when l made a stink the best they would do is $10. What a bunch of crooks!
I am actually surprised they can get away with the thievery. Doesn't the government protect us from such blatant and agressive rip offs?

Spectrum will not honor Financed phone payment if you fall 2 months behind on your normal service bill; Money in hand to catch up on past due amount and they wanted $1300 to restore service (Past due bill was $176; rest was financed phone) I will also be cancelling my internet service with them as well!

Acts like these are Forcing an average American into *******@*******@*******@*******@*******@Apple@FTC

After my initial plan expired my bill increased by $90. I tried to relay my concern and that no other services are available in my area, nothing changed. I asked for a supervisor which took 10 minutes on hold and she could offer no help. This monopoly is horrible and tv should not have this kind of costs. My bill is now $280. You have to get package A to get Package b. I don't need all of it Ridiculous and very rude customer service! Trying to get some alternative at this point. Cable rage!

I'm being charged monthly for an item they say I received, but I don't have any Spectrum equipment in my household. They say it's Spectrum mobile, I have Verizon as my carrier. So here they are taking money out of my checking account for something I don't have. So I am not disconnecting my TV service, I don't want nothing to do with Rip off of a company.

I sold my buisness and transferred a portion of my services to the new owner. I've call the customer service number at least 5 times and have received different information each time. They will not remove my credit card from the file and I continued to be billed even though I have requested to cancel the service (mobile). I do not recomment this company. I also do not recommnd putting a card on file for billing because they will not remove it.

I ordered the iphone 15 in exchange for my iPhone 12! They told me how much they would give me for my phone, what my bill would be until i sent them the iPhone 12 then my bill would be adjusted! After waiting two weeks for them to email me the return label I called to inquire about it and they said I didn't do an exchange and there is nothing they can do about it!

Service is okay. VERY expensive. I called concerning a "special Offer:" they supposedly had that would cut my bill "in half". I called and was immediately put through to an India call center. Yak, yak, yak. "We will charge only $46.00 per month." To do this we must have you pay ten months up front." When I was approached by a rep in a Walmart, I was told there was a program for retired people over 65 years of age. All of this is an out and out lie. Don't trust a single thing they say. How do you know they lie? They open their mouths. If I had a single other good choice (already been through the only other provider in the area and they were the same bunch of liars.

Their "half off" promotion is a total crock! They want 10 months of payment up front!

Cancelled cable and just kept internet and phone. Cancelled on the 25th of the month. Apparently that was 3 days into our next billing cycle. These no contract a-holes claim our "contract" says you pay for the month. These people are crooks! It should be pro rated for the three days. They are stealing money for services not rendered! Stay away from spectrum if you can. They are a terrible company to deal with. THIEVES!

When we moved from one house to another we called to move service. They cancelled our auto-pay without notification, slapped us with a late payment penalty, and threatened to turn us in to a bill collector. We've been customers over 10 years. At the move, they told us to be present all day for delivery, signature required, of new equipment. Of course nothing was sent and they finally said, "Just hook up your old stuff." Now the billing is all fouled up. Their email notices don't correspond to their online information and you can barely ever talk with anyone. Awful. Even worse than the SNL skit abou them.

Internet. Trying to cancel TV but you have to talk with someone, no one can answer, they cut off the call, and refuse to refund for payments made in advance.

Spectrum is the worst company I've ever had this displeasure to work with. Their service is crap -- complete garbage. I have a large number of devices on my wifi network and they all go down every 30 mins -- cameras, TVs, thermostat, alarms, etc. You want to talk to someone to get technical help? Good luck -- you'll be on hold for 4 hours for them to tell you to restart your modem. I'm switching to another service as I type this. Stay away from this company - FAR AWAY.

I was having some services,and I have very limited time that I can sit on the phone and work things out,but I was really impressed with customer service rep Denver! Ran all the tests and determined needed upgraded equipment and has it on the way by tomorrow! She was very sweet and helpful! All csr could take a lesson from Denver!

The equipment they use is extremely low end, and causes a lot of connection difficulties. They also have issues with not scheduling maintenance properly, doing it when people are trying to work. I've had to boost my hotspot twice now due to Spectrum's bad decision making and inability to keep things running. We are switching to AT&T Fiber. We are done.
