I recently bought a refrigerator from a smaller Sears store... They didn't have it in stock so we ordered there on the internet. The sales staff was more than helpful and courteous... the refrigerator came on time and was delivered by a really nice young man... he helped me set everything up!
It was the Sears Outlet store in West Palm Beach. Only three stars because I had a hard time getting a salesman to help me with the purchase and answering questions about the discounted merchandise. I was able to get a Kenmore washing machine for 40% off the regular retail.

We just recently purchased two sets of new washers and dryers from them with the warrant because we sold one home, then had to move and downsize. Both sets were purchased with the "warrantee". They advised me to put off a service call until spring... with a washer that was checked and level and was ALWAYS OUT OF BALANCE! It took me all day to get one wash done! It ended up being a faulty part! They are not the Sears they once were. We're looking for a new appliance store.

I came to know that this company is only working as a middle man who recieve orders and booked those orders on the original site of product keeping the commission. And sometimes these guys keep up the money and never deliver the product.

All of the team in customer service of Sears are unprofessional. They don't know how to deal with the customer even they didn't know how to answer a reasonable alternate. Will never use again.

It was an awesome shipping experience of my Online shopping and getting then real fast at my door step. Today I knew that there are few online stores who cares about their promise of delivery. I ordered my favorite Skirts from Romwe.com which I had chosen after a long search on net, I got bundle of my choice collection there and ordered one because I couldn't wait to have it dressed. When I read the reviews I decided to see if I could contact Romwe to see if they were able to exchange it for the next size up (good decision). I raised a request within my order on their website and they got back in touch with me that same day (last friday) to let me know they changed the size of the item. I was then expecting it to take at least a month to arrive... oh i was sooo wrong! It arrived today - 5 business days after I ordered it with NORMAL shipping. I was a bit anxious to open the package, fearing the quality of the item inside. I'm planning to continue to use Romwe when I complete my outfit with shoes and accessories. The deals they offer on their products are amazing!

Sears tools can't be beat and they will replace any tool that is broken or damaged. But Sears is old school and seems to not be able to get into the 21st Century. Their prices are a bit high compared to other national chains. Went in looking for a special colored knit shirt. Too pricey. Other stores sell the same type of shirt for much less.

Answer: My best recommendation would be to contact the corporate offices and work your way up the chain until you get someone in charge and let them know that taking your money without having the item 'in stock' and available to ship as soon as it is paid for is a violation of the Consumer Protection Act. If they still don't send it, I would file a complaint with the Consumer Protection Agency, the BBB and all of the review sites on the internet.
