The overall reputation of the company reflects a significant decline in customer service satisfaction, with numerous reviews highlighting persistent issues related to service delays, unresponsive support, and difficulties in obtaining refunds or repairs. While some customers acknowledge the quality of products, the overwhelming sentiment reveals frustration with the handling of warranties and service appointments, often leading to prolonged wait times and unresolved issues. The consistent reports of disorganized customer support and inadequate communication suggest a pressing need for the company to enhance its service protocols and prioritize customer experience to restore trust and reliability.

The displays are somewhat out of style, but they still have good clothing at reasonable prices. I like the fact that they have people there who know how to measure for a suit. It's like going back in time to shop. I hope they can draw in the young crowd... that should be the focus of advertising. We went to buy appliances and the guys were sitting in a huddle and we had to go and get somebody's attention to get help.
Sad to say my Sears closed a couple of months ago. Almost always receive great service and deals
This is the third Craftsman lawn mower I've had in a year or so. It's JUNK. Once I got to the Corporate level they worked with me. Replaced it two times (I elected to upgrade and pay the difference). But you can't fix junk by replacing it with junk. At this point Sears won't bother to even reply to me.
Their warranty is useless! They were told to NOT fit our car with what are known as "Pleebs", they did anyway, we got stuck with some fake good-years that ARE only made for Sears and they were bald in under a year and less than 8k miles! Now we only buy online and have a mechanic friend mount them for us onto our rims, cheaper, easier and less corporate run around and hassle that way!
You have to jump through hoops to get them to approve the warranty they have guidelines and when finely they approve the won't bring you out a new mattress same brand but they tell the customers well this is what you spent now this is your credit and it is up to the customer to do the research to find a mattress equivalent to the one that was purchased it they can't switch out your mattress then they should not be selling them. I heard from one of their sales persons that each mattress is made when ordered well make me a new one just better.
I shop online and in stores. That gives you convErnie ce to do store pick up. I don't care for the reward points they have.
I've purchased various larger appliances (dishwasher, color tv; washer; dryer) from Sears in the past, and it's practically the only place that I would consider buying this type of appliances. They stand behind what they sell; there is a good selection to choose from; their reputation is good and they deserve that reputation. I have never had a bad experience with any of the appliances that I've bought from Sears.
I still like Sears because they sell high quality Craftsman brand tools for home and garden use and carry harder to find items in that department as well. Likewise the Kenmore brand of appliance have given us extremely satisfactory service over 20 years or more and what is just as important is parts remain available far longer than for most other brands and models so you don't have to replace an appliance just because one part broke. They did not have my size in pants to wear with my sports coat but they ordered my size into the store in short order and most stores won't do that anymore. The only thing I fault Sears for is trying to change the look, feel and merchandise mix of KMart stores when they acquired that chain. I used to be able to count on KMart big and tall departments to carry my clothing needs, but now I can't even find stuff I used to regularly purchase there. KMart was a good fit for my aging baby boom generation.
They done closed allot of doors but solid state has always been in our family. OK for newbies solid state was a sears brand back in the day like 40's more to 50's but yea. Last longer sterdy products when it was in business bit pricey but well worth it.
The prices are o. K. but there are often sales and I have gotten so many excellent things there. I find the clothing there a more cost-effective option than the Bay
I shop with them online and often go to the store for my pickup, if I need the item right away. I have never been disappointed with sears customer service and they stand behind their products.
I always buy my appliances and home needs at sears and quite happy with everything.
I have bought tools, clothes and jewlrey from this sight and am satisfied with ALL items! Plus, they have in store pick-up. AWESOME! I recommend this shopping site!
We called Sears directly, the old fashioned way, to order something. Without knowing, we were routed to a "Marketplace" seller who handled that item. When the item arrived at our home and didn't work out, we promptly called to return. There were so many hoops to jump through, unanswered calls, and more than $50 lost in the transaction. Do not order from Sears online unless you are sure it is from Sears - even if you call Sears directly. This all seems very unethical.
Even though a little cheap outfit like K-Mart somehow managed to buy the giant Sears, it is still a good place to go to and buy what you need. Returns easy, quality usually good, sales people good and Sears has been around for a very long time.
Everything about my purchase was great. Will continue to shop Sears
I have never had any issue with Sears... it has been an excellent experience shopping with them.
Somehow Sears became the forgotten one, the relative banished to the downstairs. So you may have to go down there. You may not know what you are missing. Don't worry. You will not be hurt. Prices are very competitive. With discounts and coupons, Sears often easily beats Amazon's prices. Customer service, especially at the Shop Your Way Rewards program is top notch. Sears free shipping membership price is cheap especially considering the benefit of free points each month. The website is easy to navigate and always being improved.
Best store to check for a good deal in tools guys always is special going on at all times
Answer: I'm not entirely certain, but, perhaps, because Sears only sells it's own stuff and isn't like Amazon or E-bay where you can sell on their site.
Answer: Find out what Baston Shoes is and how they work with Sears. I would also file a complaint with the Consumer Protection Agency, the BBB and all of the review sites on the internet. You'd be surprised how fast companies respond to BBB complaints.
Answer: My best recommendation would be to contact the corporate offices and work your way up the chain until you get someone in charge and let them know that taking your money without having the item 'in stock' and available to ship as soon as it is paid for is a violation of the Consumer Protection Act. If they still don't send it, I would file a complaint with the Consumer Protection Agency, the BBB and all of the review sites on the internet.
