Online Gift Card
December 22, 2020

I placed an order for a gift card online on Dec. 5. It has still not arrived, on Dec. 22. When the "7-10" days were up, I made contact, and was told since it was only shipped Dec. 10, I had to wait 7-10 days. I did. They have ignored every single email contact since. Let the buyers beware. When I called, they told met hey would fix it in 1-3 days... so, no Christmas gift.

I sat down for hours browsing through the site and selecting items. After I made my purchase, an hour later I got an email saying my order has been cancelled. Now I have 3 different holds on my account for the one purchase. They are now holding on to up to $600 for me and I don't have an order. SMH. Worst I tried reaching out to customer service and nothing. Do not shop here, the site is like a fraud!

It's the holiday season. It is busy in the store. We were not greeted. No smiles on there faces. They all looked bored to death. Three people behind the counter doing nothing. At hot topic we were told the sales. Helped out several times. And told we could get one more item. In rue we just got no talk and board faces. No one doing nothing. This is not how to run a store. The prices were higher than Hot Topic too. I think I will take my business there.

If you're not in a hurry to get your clothes or accessories when ordering online, this is a really great place to shop. They have really good deals and my package came by the 7th day I paid for standard shipping also ordered the Saturday after black Friday, so I'd imagine they were pretty busy. I'm very pleased with everything I purchased from them. I would rate them 100 stars if I could! Will be a returning customer!

I used to wear only Rue21 clothes in the past. Its a nice store for both male and female but I wouldn't suggest ordering online.

Sometimes their material isn't how you would expect. I've ordered laced shirts and they feel like a swimsuit almost. Pants are tricky especially online.

One shirt grew mold on it very quickly and I've never had a problem with that. Most of their clothes are expensive even on sales.

The little toys and phone cases are also not very good. Breaks easily and is a waist of money.

I wouldn't suggest buying from Rue. I've had clothes torn and have had really bad fraying. Clothes shrink and grow mold very fast.

I placed an order last night of $100+, then got an email after saying items were out of stock so my entire order had to be canceled. The email stated I would not be charged, but my credit card definitely was. Customer service sucks and I have yet to get my money back. Also, from past experiences it's definitely not worth it, the clothes quality really do suck and are cheaply made. Horrible company, never shopping here again!

Don't EVER order from Rue21.com. I love Rue 21 in store... but I just orded a pair of jeans and I got my package, it has someone else's items. I call Rue and I have to send item back before I can get refund... But here is the big thing that really makes me mad, they are now out of stock! Most companies would say keep item, we are refunding you and we will send your pants also.

Poor shipping
November 3, 2016

I placed an order an October 20, it is. Ow November 3rd and it still says it's processing. Contacted the company and they claimed it would've sent out in 1-2 days after their new shipping was implemented. It's been a week and still. Nothing. This is ridiculous! Did anyone else have to wait that long for one single item? Too bad I can't cancel it.

Customer Service Sucks. Bought items for my teenage daughter and never received them. Rue21's customer service had a general response ready which essentially said kick rocks. I know that we are in Covid times, and people are on edge more than they usually are but to know that this place can so easily say FU to a customer is disheartening. Trust, believe, and depend on me letting the world know about this Rue21. Bad move. I really hope that people see my sincerity in this and stay away from ordering online from you. Your company sucks.

Honestly I shop there all the time it's where I buy most of my clothes. They have high quality cute amazing clothes with cheap prices. When Ordering online do expect what you see, they are 100% true and good delivery. And the in store people are very nice and friendly. Would deff recommend

Ordered 6/6/24 and website states it was delivered 7/9/24 at 2AM in the morning. I waited over a month for this ordered and never got it delivered to my place when it says it did.

Being plus size its hard to find places that sell clothes meant for plus size bodies while not paying $60 for an article of clothing. The only thing ive bought from here and have never had an issue with is leggings. A lot of their shirts are a spandexy, hug your body type of material & Not everyone likes that. Plus with long sleeve shirts and cardigans they put a weird stitch around the arms which can make it difficult for those of us with big arms.

I place and order on 9/19. Received a confirmation number and my credit card was charged but I never received a shipping confirmation. I contacted the customer care team and got a response on 9/24 stating that there was nothing they could do about getting the items shipped to me and that they could not refund me. So in other words just wait until I received the items. Still have not received the items and am now unable to track the package with the confirmation number originally give.
Worst experience ever. STAY AWAY!

So this is an update on my last review. I was waiting for my shipment and they sent in all of my things on October 10... I placed my order on October 2. I wasn't that disappointed because it did say 7-9 business days. The customer service was very cooperative and gentle with my complaints. She said that she'd refund my money completely if I didn't receive my order in 15 days. They're not that bad. Just a little disorganized. The clothes were super pretty and of great quality. Worth the 140 dollars I spent on them. Also, make sure to call them if it still says processing after two days. They will help you. Rue 21 is a really good store. Be patient though, they won't deliver in the time they say they do, but the clothes are worth the wait for the quality and money you spend.

Ordered about 4 things from Rue21 a week ago. Got an email minutes after saying that two of the four were out of stock. The shipping was ridiculously pricey even for the four items so I decided that for only two, it wouldn't be worth it. The same day as I placed the order (actually just minutes afterward), I emailed them to inquire about cancelling it. I got a response the next day that told me it couldn't be cancelled. Fine, I understand policy, definitely a little annoying, but fine. Order comes a week later and it's the wrong items. Seriously? Customer service is a passive aggressive nightmare, by the way. Never shopping there again. Clothes are cheap and gaudy in person anyway.

Worst service ever!

PLaced an order online and have yet to receive it and here we are a month later. Rue21 won't refund money either since the post office hasn't officially claimed it lost. But the post office keeps posting the same update and it doesnt show its moving so there is clearly something wrong. Yet Rue21 just wants me to contact the postal service even though they are the one's who shipped my order not me! Poor customer service as they do not make any attempts to figure out what is going on with my package but are glad to keep my money!

We placed an order online, which arrived in a timely manner, BUT it had our address on the bag and someone ELSE'S order inside. I tried calling and sat on hold for over 10-15 minutes while a recording kept coming on saying my "estimated wait time is more than 2 minutes" and then "more than 5 minutes" and now its "more than 10 minutes". I wrote to their email and was told to call. I am sitting on hold AGAIN and it's going on over 20 minutes. This is terrible customer service! I work for a call center and if we had customers holding for these extended periods of time, we'd be out of business. I am never ordering from this place again! Oh, and not to mention the frenetic classical piano song playing over and over and over. Yes, ONE song. Wow.

If you want to use a coupon, don't bother contacting customer service by email, NOONE WILL RESPOND. Their size charts are completely incorrect, I'm 32" waist & 48" hip, & their size 11 fits me fine in jeans, everything has stretch. My mistake in ordering size 14 was my fault. I used a coupon that I'll have to get by making a fake email account so I can get the correct sizes, because they can't honor the price, they said over the phone, for the exchange. Huge bummer, great to finally find some pants that fit my small waist & curvy butt, though. Their shipping took over 10 days from date of purchase, 4 days it took them to even send me the shipping confirmation. Just sad.

After several horrific experiences with online shopping from amazon and few others. I wasn't certain to try online shopping again but I can't stand extremely busy overly packed malls so I prefer online. Anyway, I ordered from Rue21 and first order with them sizes where correct and the price was great. I am very pleased with my purchase super cute stuff and I'll shop again in the future. Thank you Rue21 online for making it a great positive experience. You should make more stores.

Ship to store by turtle

I ordered a bomber jacket online to be shipped to the store. It has been almost 2 weeks since my order. Iv'e never heard of experienced a "ship to store"order that take that long form any store. This was my first and last order from Forever 21.
I couldn't take going into the store anymore, because store is always so messy, it looks like a 12 year old's bedroom after a sleep over. I agree with every bad review that has been posted on this site.
