Let me just say that out of maybe 50 responses I have received over time, 40 of them have been from Derby. This person is really famous. With each time a different account name and sometimes even pictures. And its always... the same email -----
===============
Good Morning! This is Derby... I found your place you posted available for rent and I'm glad to inform you that I'm interested in the place... Im fun loving, personal, friendly, clean, caring and respectful of others. A non-smoker, dont do drugs but I drink occasionally, am single and have no child. Kindly reply via my private email address if the place is still available for rent (*******@hotmail.com) for further discussion. Thanks Derby
Stay away from this site.
The responses were mostly fictitious, response from same two people. We are unable to search for rooms in different suburbs. Search lists have photos of people with painted animal faces. Obviously mocking I guess. Has the site changed hands. It was a site one could trust but now it is exactly the opposite. Are they going through a overhaul and using the subscription money for it. They must refund our money immediately until they get their act together. Is it time to report this site to Fair Trading department in the UK?
We're sorry to hear you are not satisfied with our website and I I'd like to take the opportunity to address your concerns:
Concerning the fictitious responses, I'd like to reassure you that the members on the site are not fake or bogus, they are real people like you looking to for flatshare. Interest messages on the site are automated templates, so if any member sends you an interest they will all look the same. We aim to provide a successful experience hence our site is being monitored regularly by a large team of agents who ensure that the platform is up-to-date and safe to use. If by "painted animal faces" you are referring to the filters people use nowadays to take picture on their phone, that's a new trend people are using while taking pictures, and if we are able to identify their faces through the filters the pictures are approved.
Regarding the refund request, we are always ready to accommodate to our users needs. Kindly contact us by email at frank@easyroommate.com so that we can discuss this further.
I hope to hear from you soon!
I have used Easyroommate to advertise my student houses for the last 4 years and initially it was very good but last year prices increased by a factor of 3 and the number of potential tenants responding to the ads has decreased.
This last year their management of my ads has been terrible. I recently removed a copy of a floor plan from one property and got an email back telling me my changes "had not made the grade". So deleting an out of date floor plan is not acceptable to them? They also deleted an existing floor plan from the same ad.
After not receiving a reply to my email I had to telephone them and was told it was an error and would not happen again.
Guess what happened yesterday when another change was made with another floor plan. Yes - they did the same again and again had to telephone. When asked to speak to whoever was in charge was informed they do not take incoming calls but would ring me back.
Now 7-00 pm (9.5 hours later and still no callback)
Consider carefully if using to advertise your property with increasing costs, dwindling responses to adverts and poor account management who don't want to discuss issues.
Hi Graham,
We would like to extend to you our most sincere apologies regarding the issue with the pictures on your ad.
We can understand how frustrating and inconvenient this whole situation has been for you. The mistake was due to human error, it was an oversight from the moderator that should have never happened. I can promise you that I've taken all the necessary measures to ensure that this won't happen again. It's important to us that we regain your trust and that you're able to rely on us as you have in the past.
Regarding the increase in the Premium Membership fees, Easyroommate has been working hard through the years to deliver high-quality service at the lowest possible prices. Although we continually make an effort to give you top service at low prices, we offer a service which means that employees are here to moderate the ads, maintain the site, develop new features and answer customer's questions by email. All of that has a cost and that has left us with no alternative but to increase our Premium Membership prices.
The Membership is optional and it allows you to gain access to contact all the users on the site, all of our customers control and manage their accounts independently that's why we do not guarantee that you will hear back from all users. When you do not hear back from someone it could mean that your recipient has not read your message or could simply mean that they are not interested.
Again, we regret that this issue ever happened and hope you will accept our sincerest apologies. We would be very glad to make this up for you and you are welcome to contact us at frank@easyroommate.com or call us at: 0044 (0) 203 695 8756 - Monday - Friday, 9am to 18.30pm GMT.
The main issue I had using EasyRoommate is that in order to contact anyone, you need to pay for a premium account. Alternatively, if the other person has paid for a premium account, you can contact them, but in my local area, there isn't a single premium user advert, meaning that unless I paid, I would never be able to use the site to arrange new roommates.
Spareroom.co.uk is a far better alternative and they have set up their site properly - you can message anyone, but only after a 7 day waiting period, in which only premium members can message. This means you can still use the site as you should be able to, but with minor delays, which is fair.
I've used Spareroom's site to find flatmates for three years now, completely free of charge. I certainly won't be using EasyRoommate again; I would encourage anyone reading this not to either, unless they change their business model.
Thank you for taking the time to review Easyroommate and I appreciate this opportunity to address your concerns!
The site is free to use and the upgrade is not mandatory, in fact, most of our Members use the site for free. This membership is an additional service that we offer to help our customers with their search. Being a Premium Member gives your ad better visibility and allows you to contact and be contacted by the newest Members.
You can indeed use the site for free, you can post an ad for free, search for flatmates and view their ads for free, communicate with all your Premium Matches for free and send your Basic Matches interest messages for free.
I understand your position on the Premium Membership option, however, we offer a service which means that employees are here to moderate the ads, maintain the site, develop new features and answer customers questions by email. All of that has a cost and unlike other sites, we do not cover it by polluting the site with advertisements or by selling our database.
Also concerning the premium plans, we don't only have the 30 days plan, we have 7 days, and 14 days as well and all these premium plans comes with a free extension in terms of the satisfaction guarantee.
We would like you to contact our customer support team and with their expertise, they will be able to assist you to have better results using the site. You can contact us at Frank@easyroommate.com.
I received two messages from people within 24 hours. Upon doing research on both of them, I found that they were both related to multiple scams. I will be removing my listing immediately.
Thank you for your feedback Megan, and I'm really sorry to hear that you've been contacted by a scammer on the site.
As advertising sites, we're usually targets for scammers. They create accounts and try to get contact details of the users so that they can contact them outside the website platform by email to remain undetected.
This does not mean that your safety is not important to us - on the contrary. We have an international team of customer service agents and moderators who work 24/7 to ensure the site is safe for you.
I would ideally like to review the accounts that you're worried about and as such, could I request that you send our customer support team any information you still have about them - name on the site, email address, listing ID on the email address frank@easyroommate.com or victoria@easyroommate.com?
Thanks again for your feedback.
Every time i ran out of payment i got a person interested. The price is way to high! Someone (30+ professionals would come to have a look and then never heard of them again! Not even answering their phones. Making me think they think they get commission to view rooms. And then juuuust to find a other to have emailed me also being a professional being 30+ and driving a normal car but in NEED of a room. Think its a SCAM!
I am sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with our services Nicolet.
We do send daily matches to your email to ensure that you stay up to date with all the new potential tenants that have just signed up. This list is based on the search filters which you applied on your ad's search page.
The members that you have contacted are users just like you. They have created an account looking for a room to stay in. They are no way connected with us in any matter except they have created an account on our website.
The people who visited your room might prefer to check multiple rooms first before committing to one or they might have been interested after viewing this room.
Also, I would like to add that as part of our satisfaction guarantee policy we offer a free extension for plans up to 30 days. All you need to do is contact us after your membership expires and we will be glad to activate it for you.
I would like to ensure you that our website is not a scam and if you need assistance do not hesitate to contact the customer support team and I am sure they will assist you.
... when you read the fine print.
Why the ASA hasn't sanctioned them is beyond me.
They claim not to be an Advertiser, but other than Advertising properties and taking money from both sides of the transaction, what do they actually do?
Could someone please clarify?
Dear Timbrukah,
Thank you for your review.
We are indeed not an Advertiser, but a classified website. This means that we do not advertise for ourselves nor for our own properties. As a matter of fact, we do not advertise anything at all on our own website.
Therefore, we are here to facilitate the search and contact between renters and tenants, but that is how far our role goes.
We do not interfere in the rental process itself, we do not take any commission on the rent and we are not responsible of how our users publish their ads.
Our users are able to access to our services for free. We do have a membership called Premium Membership, that allows members to contact other users more easily and to have access to more support from us. However, this does not affect any transactions between our members, this is just an option they choose to take or not.
We are really sorry to learn you have experienced difficulties with the display of the room prices. During the creation of an ad, it is clearly stated that the price entered needs to be per month. But, again we cannot control what users write, this is their own choice.
We will be happy to help you further with your account, if you wish so, you can contact our Customer Service at frank@easyroommate.com.
This site is beyond useless. Not one enquiry in a year and only 10 people who have viewed my advert dispite paid yearly subscription.
Double adverts from renters who maybe like other landlords signing up to check their adverts are ahowing.
This website is a complete waste of time and space
BE WARNED
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ESPECIALLY IF YOUR OUTSIDE LONDON
I am so sorry to read that you were not successful renting your room through our site Paul.
I must explain that the Premium Membership is only a method which helps you with contacting your matches and it's completely optional.
Being proactive and having a complete profile ensure that you find a tenant or an accommodation with or without the Premium Membership. The profiles on the site are not bogus or fake, they are real people like you looking for flatshare, and the number of profiles on your results is not related to the Premium Membership or the functionalities on the site, it is related to the search criteria on your ad only.
We will be glad to discuss this further with you, kindly drop us en email at frank@easyroommate.com.
Cheers.
SCAM SITE! Nothing but fake ads that spam you the same scripted private messages asking you to email them directly where they can further spam you before the profile gets shut down, another pops up, and sends you the same message with the same scripted private message.
Then they are not professional when contacted for a refund, begin long, innacurate arguments, and won't refund your money. No worries. My credit card has outstanding service, so I stopped payment with my credit card and reported them to the Better Business Bureau.
I got several dozen *real* responses from *real* people for *free* on HotPads, Trulia, and Craigslist. Or for a pay site that works, try Roomster. Save your money on EasyRoommate.com, unless you like being scammed.
EDITED TO ADD: In response to the damage control that EasyRoommate.com is now trying to do below, well, it's simply untrue and I have digital proof. I began an account fall 2016, got nothing but spam, and closed the account. When I needed a renter again in 2017, I had forgotten that EasyRoommate.com was the site that I had been spammed on, and accidentally reopened a membership. Once the same scripted fake emails started coming in, I remembered it was them, and closed the account. I have since marked my notes going forward so when I need a renter again, EasyRoommates.com is not a site I get suckerd by again. Just because I have a lapse in memory because I am an exhausted, multi-tasking single mom of a young child does not mean this site is not a scam. It was a scam the first time I used it, and the second time I used it not realizing it was the same site that scammed me before. I have even saved the scam emails. And I have a history of all the responses I got to my ads, and no matter how much EasyRoommates.com is trying to do damage control now does not change the fact that I got not double, but 8x the response to my ads on Roomster, Craigslist, and Hotpads, and all by real people, not the same fake spam email. Sorry, but there are a ton of reviews on here that agree this is a scam site.
I'm sorry if you were contacted by scammers on Easyroommate Cole.
As an online business, there is always a slight risk of running into a suspicious character who may be trying to target you as a victim of a scam. This does not mean that your safety is not important to us, quite the contrary. To fight against scammers on our site, we have an international team of customer service agents and moderators who work 24/7 to ensure the site is safe for you, and we are always here to help in terms of verification of any listing posted on the site.
You could see that those malicious users have already been banned on the site and you could no longer access their messages, however as all scammers tend to do, they have stayed in touch with you on personal emails to escape our surveillance and this is something we cannot control.
Having that the website is free to use and the membership is optional we have a no-refund policy. You have been using the website since September 2016 paying several memberships. However, on the 8th of December, you have requested a refund for the reason that you were unhappy with the results on the site and a full refund was processed and we have kept the membership running on your account as a gesture of good will. Yet again, you have upgraded your account recently to contact the members you were interested in, the service was delivered but you have deleted the account and requested another refund, and eventually we ended up refunding you on these two occasions.
Once again I sincerely apologies for the inconvenience and hope to see you again on the site.
Gerri S... I need a room and every time i look there are the SAME 3 rentals and they arent even in my area! Glad I havent paid anything yet. If you have a room please try to find me. Thx, Bonnie Greenhouse
Pay serious attention to the feedback reporting the site as a scam. My daughter unfortunately fell for the fake cashier's check and the wiring of money. They will continue to harass you once they get your information.
I am so sorry to hear that you and your daughter have been victimized by a scammer on the site, Sharra.
When using any online platform there is always a slight risk of running into a suspicious character who may be trying to target you as the victim of a scam.
One of the best things about Easyroommate is we are a platform on which to advertise or look for a room. This puts you in control of your search.
However, unlike an agency, we do not personally vet, interview, reference or talk to each of our members personally.
This does not mean that your safety is not important to us? On the contrary.
We have an international team of customer service agents and moderators who work 24/7 to ensure the site is safe for you.
I would ideally like to ensure that this criminal is no longer operating on the site and as such, could I request that you send me any information you still have - name on the site, or listing ID?
Alternatively, if you could send me the email address you use to login with, I can find this user from your account and correspondence.
As a site, we can do allot to try and prevent this type of activity, however we also strongly encourage that our Members practice their own policy to stay safe online.
Within a couple of days of signing up to the site, we send you a message just to make you aware of what to be cautious of.
Also you may like to have a look at our Email Scam page.
The support of our Members in these situations is invaluable so thank you again for your support. You are welcome to get back to us at any time if you would like to report anything further at Victoria@easyroommate.com
After finally locating an address to complain, this is the response I got from them. It's totally false. Those faces on their website are all made up! If you want to contact me, my email address is *******@aol.com.
February 7,2017
Hi Gerry
Thank you for your email.
I'm sorry if you still haven't had any results yet Gerry.
Let me reassure you that Easyroommate is a classified site that has existed for years. We are headquartered in london and are operating in more than 20 countries all over Europe, America and Asia.
As a classified site our Members are in control of their search, we are a matching platform, so you post your ad and we match you with profiles looking in your area within your rent price range. Your room ad has generated more than 200 profiles that are live and active on the site, because to make sure the content on the site is fresh and up to date we have an automated system in place which automatically deactivates ads on inactive account - in other words - If someone does not log in within 15 days their ads get deactivated automatically.
All of our customers control and manage their accounts independently. When you do not hear back from someone it could mean that your recipient has not read your message or could simply mean that they are not interested. This is why we advice our Members to be proactive on their search and contact new profiles on daily basis to be able to find a tenant.
You are in control of your search, to promote your ad and contact the room seekers about it. You haven't contacted any members on the site for about 3 weeks now, and this is not going to help you with your search at all. Your ad is not the only one advertised on the site, and if the other landlords are being proactive on their search they have better chances finding a roommate than you do.
The Premium Membership is not related to the results on the site. It helps you have unlimited access to contact and be contacted by the Members on the site, and you are in total control of that.
My best advice to you is to get on your Search page on a regular basis to browse through your matches and contact members whose profiles you are interested in.
Thanks again for contacting us.
Kind regards,
Sophie
Decided to front the $10 bucks to be "premium member " I find it utterly amazing there are so many people looking and when you send a message no, NO ONE bites. Shenanigans! Glad I'm only out $10. Stay away.
Unfortunately, sometimes it can take some time for replies simply because members do not login on a daily basis or they might not be interested and do not reply, which obviously is frustrating for the one that contacted the member in the first place.
Be assured however that we at Easyroomate we try everything to contact this member and inform him of the receipt of your message by sending him or her an email to their private email address requesting them to reply to you. We also do deactivate accounts if they have been inactive for longer than 14 days. Also, I would like to let you know that all our Premium Memberships come with a Satisfaction Guarantee Plan.
This means that if you don't find a flat/house share during your initial 5 day subscription, we'll give you an additional 5 days at no additional expense to you to continue your search (a 5-Day Extension).
Simply get back to me at Victoria@easyroommate.com and I'll sort it out.
Please refund my Premium Membership funds. You are scamming people into believing that this site can actually match individuals seeking a room with individuals offering places to live. What you do not disclose is that despite the fact that I, as a Premium Member, may contact any of the individuals offering rooms - what is not disclosed is that they, in return, cannot contact me back without becoming a Premium Member as well. You are stealing peoples money; but, even worse, YOU ARE STEALING PEOPLE'S TIME! It is time consuming looking for a place to live, and for individuals like me - living 3000 miles away from where I need to rent, you are wasting my time with this crap.
If being a dishonest vendor of services and stealing people's money in the process is the only way you can make money, well then you are a very sad person. I hope that this Christmas season brings you a ton load of Karma - because Karma is a raging b&*%$.
Hello Dena,
I apologize if your experience on the site did not satisfy you and I am glad to walk you through the process step by step.
At first, when you purchase a Premium Membership you sign up to our Premium (exclusive service) whereby you can contact and be contacted by any member, regardless whether they are also Premium or a free user (Basic).
As per your search location, the new search program allows each member to choose their ideal search city/area/neighborhood and change that as often as they want.
We were glad to speak to you over the phone and we'll write a follow-up email to ensure that everything is working in order henceforth.
Until then we wish you a successful conclusion to the year, a peaceful holiday and a healthy and prosperous start to 2017!
I have used easy room mate several times but never had a tenant from them. Just for curiosity, i tried them again along with another site spareroom that i use. I re-activated an old ad but never upgraded. As soon as i reactivated, i kept getting alerts for messages and so on. You had to pay to reply to messages. So just to try it, i paid up. None of the messengers replied. Throughout the months paid subscription, i had hardly any messages. Those i did have, were not of interest to me. My months subscription finished yesterday and since it expired, i have had loads of interest from potential tenants. This is not the first time either. I have had a gut feeling of this since i first used them years ago. I also think that the bulk of the adverts are false, to make you cough up the money
£29.99 is throwing your money away. There is not enough detail on the adverts to let you know about the persons looking for accommodation.
The site is not user friendly either. It does not tell you whether you have already contacted someone. Can be very annoying looking through messages to see if you have already contacted someone.
I use spareroom.com. It does exactly what i have stated above. I think that spareroom has more to offer and a simple messaging system. I have had 100% success with spareroom. It has a simple search facility where you pick out your prefences in your search. A full description of that person and also tells you that you have already contacted that person.
I am particular with my tenants and will only accept those who fit my preferences. You do get the odd person who tells lies in their profiles but you soon weed them out.
An honest opinion is dont bother with easy room mate.
This site allows users to use a default profile "Hi my name is zxyz. I have a budget of $abc dollars per week. Other sites I use give me much more information. I don't want to contact people who are in no way suitable for our home. I contacted easyroomate and they were hostile. They say "We can't make people write detail". While I understand this, flatmates.com clients give much more detail and this encourages me to contact more people. Obviously, flatmates.com have a way of encouraging prospective tenants to share more information. I also note my "matches" are looking for accommodation in Sydney or Melbourne. The home is in Brisbane. I don't think these matches really work given the geography of Australia.
I don't believe it either. Posted a room and many more replies than other sites but all want me to upgrade. Not sure they are scams. There is a "free to express interest" (but not message) button. So ha... I imagine the renters have same and it cons them into paying also.
They advertise one month free following paid membership if you failed to rent, then that offer disappears and they want you to pay again. Most of the replies to my ad were scams. When I wrote and complained I'd get a generic response only to have the same scammers reply again and again. Horrible waste of my money.
You can set up a profile (for a housemate or flat) for free, under the guise that you will be able to chat with prospective housemates or people with rooms.
But you CAN'T without wasting money on their "premium" service.
(Almost ALL other sites don't charge for this).
It's not a premium service, it's their service, there is no free service.
I call this false advertising of the very worst kind.
Moving house is horrible, especially somewhere like London.
This site preys on our misfortune.
I found 0 people that I would rent to on this site. The one person that showed interest was out of the country and wanted the place in two months. Can you say SCAM. I finally found a tenant on the free site that I have used in the past. It's not always the best option but at least it is free and people are actually in the area and come by to take a look at the place unlike the easyroommate website.
Answer: Thank you for your kind interest in advertising with us. Yes indeed, we do have rooms available on our website in Spokane WA and all across the US, however your search results would also depend on your rental budget and other search criteria besides the desired location. The first thing is to create an account with us through our Homepage https://www.roomgo.net/ to post your ad, and then you will be able to view all the search results and get in touch with your matches accordingly. Should you require any further assistance or a hand with anything related to your search please feel free to get in touch with our Customer Services Department on contact@roomgo.co.uk and they'd be glad to assist you further. Wishing you all the best of luck in your search!
Answer: Thank you for your feedback, I am so sorry to hear that you've been having difficulties accessing your account. There are many reasons that may be causing this issue such as a temporary suspension of your account by our Moderation Team to check some information with you, trying to log-in through a different country website, or merely not entering your log-in credentials correctly. Not to worry simply drop us an email on contact@roomgo.go.uk and we would gladly guide you in accessing your account successfully or even its deletion as per your request. We are looking very forward to hearing from you soon and assisting you further!
Answer: Thank you for your feedback and apologies for any inconvenience caused by our services! I'd like to clarify that the quantity or quality of listings available is not controlled by us, that's something related to your ad and ultimately controlled by you. The matches that you get are relevant to your location, rent price/budget, availability date and other filters as well. I assure you that we have numerous listings added on our website on a daily basis in the USA. Thus I kindly invite you to get in touch with our Customer Services Team on contact@roomgo.co.uk to guide you in having more search results available and assist you further in your search. We are looking very forward to hearing from you soon.
Answer: I am so sorry to hear that the person you were trying to reach turned out to be not advertising at all Karen! Firstly I would like to apologize for any inconvenience this might have caused you. There are a number of reasons why this might have happened Karen, it could be that a malicious user created an account fraudulently using this phone number on our website. Also, bear in mind that this might also have been due to a typo mistake either by yourself when ringing her up or by the user herself when inputting her phone number on her account. To assist you further with this and gain a better understanding of the situation would you please get back to us by sending us an email on frank@easyroommate.com providing us the Listing ID of this user in order to check this further. Otherwise, you can always reach us at +44 203 695 8756 from 8.30 am to 6.30 pm UK time. In the same time, you can always go ahead and flag a user's account using the flag option at the bottom of their profiles when you encounter a situation this way the moderation team will investigate and take action immediately. Looking forward to hearing from you soon and helping you further.
Answer: I am so sorry to hear about your situation and I would be glad to help you. Firstly I would like to clarify that Easyroommate does not interfere in the landlord/tenant business. As we are a classified site and not an agency it is entirely up to the user to contact and agree on all the terms of the contract. Since we do not handle the rental process or interfere in the communication or arrangements between members, we will not be able to mediate at this stage. However, I do advise you to go to local police station and file a complaint if you wish and we will be glad to provide any further information that may be required by the authorities, also kindly get back to me at Frank@easyroommate.com with the listing id of this user in order to take the necessary actions. Also, what we can do at this point is to help create a new search ad and we can activate a Premium Membership for you free of charge to help you speed up the search for the ideal room. Apologies for any inconvenience caused and hope to hear from you soon.
Answer: Hi Lilian, Could you kindly ask you for your email address to be able to check the account if the transaction went through? You can also drop me a line at Frank@easyroommate.com Hope to hear from you soon
Answer: Hi Sonya, Thank you for your message. We have websites all over the world, but our head office is in London, UK. Please let us know if you have any other question. You can contact our customer service directly at victoria@easyroommate.com Kind regards, The Easyroommate Team
Answer: Thank you for contacting Easyroommate Sue. I'd be glad to help you with your search and how to have a safe experience while using an online website! First, to be able to check the ad for you I'm going to need the full listing ID, as the one you have posted is missing a number and it did not allow me to find the ad in question. However, the good news is that there is a really easy way to ensure that you are not scammed - First and fore-most - Do not make financial agreements or arrangements with anyone you have not personally met. You can read more about online safety on our FAQS from here: https://easyroommate-us.helpscoutdocs.com/category/245-scams-and-safety and you can also contact our Customer support directly by email as well from here: Victoria@easyroommate.com Thanks again for contacting us and I'm looking forward to helping you further.
Answer: People looking for accommodation are not the only ones at risk. Landlords are also targeted by scammers. Scammers con money from members advertising rooms by sending payment meant to secure a room remotely, usually by cheque. This will seem above board until they ask you for all or part of this payment back. Once you have partially or wholly refunded the payment, you will discover that the initial cheque you received has bounced. Rental scams do not always involve fake payments directly relating to the rent, they may use associated moving costs as another method. For instance, if your new tenant is moving from another country and claims that they have paid for some belongings to be shipped/relocated to your property - they may invent some convoluted story about needing to make a final payment when their shipment arrives, but have unfortunately (and conveniently) had their credit card stolen. We have a strong knowledge of these scams and we have a dedicated team on Easyroommate that works 24/7 to keep the site safe to use. If you encounter any malicious user again, you can go ahead and flag their accounts using the flag option at the bottom of their profiles, this way the moderation team will take action immediately. We are always here to help you if you would like to check any accounts or if you need any assistance using the site, our email address is: Victoria@easyroommate.com
Answer: Dear Adam, Thank you for your message. To be able to check the interests in your area you need to go to the section for posting a room. This section appears in green on the right-hand side, at the top of the Home Page. From there you will need to enter the address, to select some details about the room and to register your email address. Once your ad is created, you can go to the Search section and see all the profiles for potential flatmates. This is absolutely free and does not commit you to anything. Thank you for your feedback.
I am sorry to hear that you have been contacted by a scammer.
Unfortunately, the scammers use different technology tools to hide their identity and pass our moderation team. We try our best to detect them but with the advancement of software and tools, it makes it harder for us.
Also, note that they use different email addresses and identities every time they register on the website.
We block the scammers that pass our moderation as fast as possible when we detect their activities online.
You can always use the flag option which is found on every profile to report it and our moderation team will take care of it.
Once again I apologize for the inconvenience caused.
