Riiiiight, sure... Ok thanks Sharon (Reship customer support rep).
If I click the link to allow Reship to unpack my small 3lb leather purse I now get charged another "small $ 7.00 fee" for that service! And only THEN do I get to see the new shipping rates for my little item... which I just bet won't be much lower than what it shows as now. Good little scam there.

If I could get an estimate on the "new shipping cost" after the original packaging is discarded by Reship, before I actually click the link to request that service, then I would be able to compare the cost and see if it is even worth it.

Here's my recent update for January 2016:
I purchased a medium size, pre-owned vintage leather handbag (weight was only 3 lbs) from a seller who didn't ship to Canada.
With dimensions of 17 x 14.5 x 6 inches, these were my shipping options according to Reship:
UPS Standard... Estimated 7 - 10 Business Days $37.34
UPS Worldwide Expedited. Estimated 5 - 7 Business Days $40.50
DHL Express Worldwide... Estimated 2 - 5 Business Days $43.05
UPS Worldwide Saver... Estimated 3 - 5 Business Day $41.33
USPS Priority International... Estimated 7 - 10 Business Days $43.93

Guess the shipping rates went up. No longer affordable for me so I'll be staying away from Reship in future.

I'm re-writing my (originally bad) review of Reship... simply because I've now placed 3 fairly large orders and they have all arrived in great condition, in a decent amount of time. I "consolidated" them all so they opened up my original packages and got rid of excess packaging... then put everything into ONE box, perfectly organized and packed!

Yes the company charges fees for their services (they ARE a business) - but I wouldn't be able to buy these wonderful items online otherwise... so I have to say I'm pleased overall by this company.

It's not their fault that UPS or DHL etc have their own shipping fees. Just take it all into consideration before you decide you "just must have that item".

ReShip has lost my package?! USPS delivered package Feb 17/17@ 12:45pm to ReShip. Both the seller and USPS told me that they have the item tracked to ReShip on this date. On Feb 23/17 I phoned ReShip to find out where the package was as it wasn't logged into their system. (As it is a pricey item I'm very concerned where it is!) I decided to phone ReShip and talked to the customer service rep, *. I was told that USPS does this frequently. "They will say they delivered the item, but didn't and because ReShip DOESN'T have the package it's USPS who's at fault"... BUT, she will check with the warehouse just to make sure they don't have it. I waited a week and phoned again and was told AGAIN by * that the package wasn't in the system, but she would check the warehouse again. It's now been almost 3 weeks and I just checked my account today and the package is STILL not showing as delivered in ReShips system. I've used ReShip on a number of times and although they've been slower in delivery I've gotten my package, now I'm no so sure with this one. I'm just about at the end of my rope with ReShip if I don't see my package real soon! And I don't know what my options are to recover my package or money for the cost of the item? So far things don't look very good for me getting it back and that makes me pi$$ed!

The Inital Shipment was a total failure!

Lost my paid in advance order by the Retailer!

Lost the Freight Service and Registration Fees! TOOK THEM THREE MONTHS FOR A SHIPMENT FROM THE US TO EU COUNTRY! Following the three months they've asked me to search at the post office. I've asked for shipping documentation that led to knowhere! The post office replied that after one month, if not delivered by the Owner, it returns back to the Sender!

Now they play stupid. From what I know is that they haven't sent the order at all or they keep the order following return at their warehouse and play with the insurance clause.

They deny to mitigate any loss!

I've never had to deal with lost delivery before. I'm using ecommerce all over the World over the last 11 years!

I recom that if anyone will do the same their BAD reputation will spread and soon they'll be out of business.

Bad bad bad

I live in Singapore, but have been shopping in US and Canadian websites for 12 years. I've used a couple of very reliable and efficient freight forwarding companies based in the US and have no problems these 12 years. This time, I purchased from a Canadian website that only ships to Canada, and have to find an alternate company that provides a Canadian address. That's why I use reship. So my items arrived at reship, I paid $10 for some admin fee, and payment went through. I checked the price for shipping back to Singapore, and it was 3 times higher than if I were to use my regular freight forwarding company. So I decided to ship my package at reship to my freight forwarding company on US, and then get them to ship it back to Singapore for me. However, my payment kept getting rejected, even though the payment for their $10 admin charges went through using the same credit card. So I contacted them, and they told me the same story: that they use a third party company, GoInterPay, they need my photo ID and copy of my credit card etc. I asked them why my credit card was rejected, and they said that they couldn't tell me the reason. Then they checked my account and said that they realized that I'm shipping to another freight forwarding company and that is against their policy, hence payment was rejected. However, I decided to try paying by PayPal, and my payment got through this time. So, question is, since my payment got through, they're going to "go against company policy" to ship my package to another freight forwarding company?

I'm going to be closing my reship account once my fingers are shipped out. *crosses my fingers*

Shipping is very expensive - on my case more than the value of the items i bought.

Just recently I used their service to ship my package to the UAE. Package value was USD62.86 guess what how much they charge me for the shipping whopping USD58 + 5 service fee. I could understand the service added but the shipping cost? No way i could!

Another thing UPS said my package weight was 3.0lbs but reship.com said it was 3.1lbs and was converted to nearest ten so it became 4lbs. Really? What mathematics calculation they are using?

I have done so many research and USD58 is not justifiable at all.

Also, there were 2 carrier options for shipping. USPS for USD53 which will take up to 90 days and UPS for USD58. I've chosen UPS given the difference is not much but guess what carrier they are shipping my package via USPS! Seriously? I paid for UPS service not USPS! I talked to customer servic name *, she disconnected our chat session because of my complained. How rude! You deserve a "0" star service score from me...

Hello. We apologize for any misunderstanding regarding our services. It is indicated on our website that all package are rounded up to the nearest pound to determine the correct billing weight. We also provide a Shipping Calculator on our website that can be used to generate a shipping estimate prior to registration so that customer's can determine if the cost would be feasible.

As vendors will often ship their merchandise in boxes with a lot of excess room and packaging material, we offer a repackaging service for a small $7 repackaging fee. If this service is requested we will open the box your item was shipped in, remove the excess packaging material and repackage your items in a smaller box in an effort to reduce the cost of shipment.

In regards to the carrier selected for shipment, that is the customer responsibility to select from within their account during the payment process. We do not change or update the carrier option that has been selected within customer accounts.

I HAVE NOTICED A HUGE DROP IN RESHIP'S CUSTOMER SERVICE LATELY WHICH NOW MOST OF THE TIME IS NON EXISTENT!
They do provide a prompt service but zero support anymore.
I have been a Reship customer for more than 10 years and over that period they consolidate and shipped over 1,000 my items promptly. In the past they offered a very prompt service with excellent custom support. My only complaint over the years was their very high shipping rates which I didn't think reflected any of their volume discount as noted in their promotional text. On the contrary, they may have been inflated. Also think they should offer slower, less expensive, modes of transportation.
Recently I have found it impossible to speak live with a customer service rep and now, when calling, always get same recording and voice mail only option and since they don't make international calls to Canada it now appears impossible to ever talk live with a customer service rep. Until recently you were always able to phone Reship and actually have someone answer the phone and talk with you. Plus there never seems to be anyone available via live-chat on their website. What makes this even worse is that 95% of the time no one every responds to, voice messages, even via email.
Also 95% all of my emails to them are never acknowledged or responded to via a voice or email. They used to have an "email" address on their website but have now removed it. So, unless you know one of their email addresses, the only way to send them a text message is via the online website request "form". Until recently, when I sent an "email" it would always immediately get a automatic email response with case number and all "emails" were responded to in one business day or less. None of this happens anymore. The "form" provides no way to CC yourself or look back at messages sent. In fact, rarely do you get a response at all from a sent "email" or "form"; not in one day, not in one month.
A week prior to posting this negative review I sent them a heads up and overview but not surprisingly NO response.
It's all quite frustrating and disappointing.

Disappointing experience. Decided to go with them after reading review (with answer from the owner) saying it costed them only 10$ to reship and it was said like it was usually really cheap. I tought it was odd but figured the ymight have some kind of shipping deal. I had a small portable gaming system with the dc converter shipped to them that usually wouldn't cost me more than 15$ to ship to Canada. When it arrived there, I realized they only use very expensive shipping option and I couldn't get my package shipped for less than 30$ which is more than the price of the item. They told me that they can repackage it for a 7$ fee and that it wouldn't be charged if they couldn't reduce the size considerably and that way it might be possible to ship with regular USPS. I then thought it would make more sense to order something else considering I was going to lose so much on shipping anyway. I then ordered a bigger box with 2 gaming console and another portable gaming system. It arrived and the cheapest price to ship was over 40$. I figured if I consolidate, they could just fit the smaller item in the extra space of the bigger box and only pay shipping once. They consolidated it for 7$ and now the item shipping fee climbed to over 60$ with USPS (only way to have chance to avoid duty and tax). Otherwise there was a 43$ UPS shipping which would be ok but considering reship 5$ processing fee per package (because it is still considered 2 package) and the 7$ consolidation fee without mentioning the original shipping to USA on top of the classic UPS overcharge on brokerage fee and duty, this is not worth it. And the thing they said about not charging the 7$ if the package couldn't be significantly reduced is not what it seemed. Apparently, removing the fee mean de-consolidating the order again and ship them individually. They also take a while to answer. In the end, it is only worth using this service if you have a very rare or hard to find item that can only be shipped to the USA and you really don't want to miss it. Otherwise, this is not worth it and it was an expensive lesson for me.

I have been a reship.com customer for several years

In the past 6 months the service has deteriorated drastically

They have very limited hours to contact by phone
In the morning us time often dont answer

I had to wake up in the middle of the night to
Speak to them!

Fistly they shipped me an incorrect book and refused to take responsibility at all and gave me the runaround

They agreed to ship me a blu ray drive that i had bought and not remove the protective packaging

When i received the box, not only had they taken the drive out of all of its packaging, but they put the drive at the very bottom of the box, which is complete foolishness.

They should have known better and packed it in the middle where there was a lot of padding

I asked them to apply fragile stickers, but they said that they didnt have-would you believe it?-
A remailing company that doesnt have any fragile stickers!

They were not interested in sorting out my problem fairly

They applied a 7 dollar credit to my card for a drive that cost me 175 dollars by the time i received it

Owing to the way the drive was shipped, i cannot be completely confident in its suitability for use as a data archiving device

Reship very selectively answered my emails and when i got up at 12:30 at night in my country, to phone them, i spoke to somone called maciej, and spent more than half an hour pleading my case. He promised that i would have a constructive response by the following morning

I received no response!

Reship used to be quite good in the past

They have deteriorated dramatically and it is my civic duty to make the broader public aware of these problems to obviate potential misery for the customer

This morning i woke up and received an email that my reship.com account has been deleted,

Do business with these rogues at your peril

Rather use myus or another reputable company

I wouldnt wish reship.com on my worst enemy.

Dealing with them has been profoundly stressful and indeed quite traumatic

Bottom line: avoid this company like the plague

From my experience, i say do business with them at your peril!

For your reference our phone lines and email systems are open during this time frame and there should be no problem contacting us by phone or email during these hours. When looking into the recent issues you have had with these two shipments it seems the problems have been brought up to management team and dealt with accordingly and compensation was offered. At this time it seems you have issued multiple chargeback’s against recent payments to our company for shipping merchandise therefore we will be unable to assist you further with shipping at this time until these chargeback’s are resolved. APPALLING LACK OF SERVICE!

Can we give negative stars? Dreadful, dreadful customer service.

I emailed them to inquire about shipping perfume to NZ, and was told yes but only if under a certain size. I then purchased a perfume gift set, within their guidelines, and thought no more. At the time I was also told they were working towards being able to ship nail polishes too, and was left with the impression they were working towards being able to ship additional items in the future.

The parcel was delivered to Reship but not logged into my account until I queried where it was (after checking out the tracking information from the seller). The parcel had been with them some time (i. E. months) and never logged into my account. They then took their time to say they couldn't ship perfume, I replied saying the only reason I purchased was because I was told I could. They didn't care. It was not their fault I had been told that (WTF?!)

I had to return the perfume gift set (at my cost, plus their service fee) and ship the remaining items to myself in NZ.

I received my parcel of the other items to find they had split the gift set apart, and sent the perfume back to Nordstrom, but sent the moisturizer from the gift set to me. This means no refund for my purchase, and further complications.

I went to track the perfume return, which had not been received by Nordstrom yet, to see the address they listed as being used to send the return to was my ** NZ address**. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE, it will not arrive in NZ, of that I have no doubt.

When asking for a refund of their charges I was flatly refused.

APPALLING SERVICE! STAY WELL CLEAR!

I have used them for over 110 parcels to date, but no more! Their service used to be good, but about six months ago (April 2014?) something changed and they now overcharge for shipping, are getting everything wrong, and do not accept any responsibility for their constant errors.

DO NOT USE RESHIP.COM --- it is not worth the pain! They are appallingly bad and do not take responsibility for their mistakes, but simply charge you more to fix their problems
